New Here: Application to monitor status of Weblogic queues and bridges

hi
I'm new to weblogic and I have to build a small tool/application to monitor status of Weblogic queues and bridges.
I want to know if there is any API that I can use or any script in Java or any other language?
Thank you

for that kind of stuff maybe the easiest choice is using WLST
there are a number of scripts published on the excellent middlewaremagic.com site
if you google
site:middlewaremagic.com monitoring jms
you will find plenty of stuff

    Thank you so much.  I will do that in the morning before I take any further steps.  I really appreciate your help.

    If you try to access Spotlight in the morning and it is still indexing, reindex it by following these steps.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2409
    Sometimes the index is corrupted, or something it is trying to index is, and it hangs up like that.
    Re-indexing may free that up and let it work correctly.

  • Here's A Question Using A Priority Queue and a DLL

         private Comparable minPosition() throws EmptyPriorityQueueException {
         if (size() == 0)
         throw new EmptyPriorityQueueException ("No Elements In The Queue");
         else
    now this is what i got so far....but i know that i have toi make to vaiables and compare them? little help please?
    Thanks

    Um, well im using the adapter class, List. so ive gone a bit further, but im not sure on what to do.....
         private Comparable minPosition() throws EmptyPriorityQueueException {
         if (size() == 0)
         throw new EmptyPriorityQueueException ("No Elements In The Queue");
         while (isEmpty()==false)
         r = ((Comparable)elements.first());
         s = ((Comparable)elements.next(elements));
    then i can make r=s and make s serach for the next element,?

  • Runtime error and unable to create new web application

    Hi
    when i create new web application i faced this error Runtime error and unable to create new web application.
    in this farm we have
    2 wfe servers
    2 application servers.

    Adil,
    There could be many reason like IIS issue, Space issue, Permission issue, SQL issue which is not possible us to guess rather
    you need to jump in the SharePoint log(Program Files\Common files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS) and find out the specific error log its throwing after which trouble shoot can be start.

  • Hello all, new here to MSI, some overclocking questions

    Hey everyone, new here to MSI products (a mobo, P45 Platinum) and forum.  I recently came from the 680i chipset and decided to try out these P45.  From reading a lot of things from various forums and here at https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=119345.0, it seems that there is a challenge (and the rewards !!) to overclocking the P45.
    In any case, my questions are:
    1.  I know this has probably been answered somewhere but I've yet to concisely concluded, do you need to remove the on-board jumpers to overclock if you are trying to achieve over 1600 Mhz FSB?  I currently have the jumpers off.
    2.  I've notice that the GTLREF voltage is not within 63% of the CPU VTT using the latest beta bios A7512IMS.153 [v1.5b3].  Is that right?
    3.  Anyone have any experience using the RAM modules I have?  See sig for details.
    4.  Green Power Center crashes in Vista when making changes.  Is there a unknown compatibility issue?  I've have installed fresh copy of Vista.

    Removing the jumpers will set the FSB Frequency to 400 MHz and force the system into a default-400 MHz Strap.  You should also be able to overclock manually in BIOS starting from other jumper position.  Just test and see which one works best for you.  It may be the default position or the 400 MHz position (jumper removal).

    How did you notice that?  What percentage does the BIOS set in your case?

    That is more or less standard DDR2-800 memory which should not make any problems.  In terms of overclocking it, you have to see what can be achieved.  Memory OC Results usually vary from system to system.

    I have a L7680 All in with two new print heads but the new cyan/magenta shows yellow monitor status. Ink status, cyan more than 50% and magenta is a 25% w/no low ink warnings... Just ran a clean print head again, print out looks good now but the status of the new cyan/magenta shows yellow monitor status. Is it time to buy another..When I purchased this printer it had to be replaced 3 times because of problems... Just a lemon?
    thx for your help in advance...

    Could you share a link to the page?
    Seeing it in context and in our browsers is much easier to debug.
    If not, make sure to run the validator here The W3C Markup Validation Service and clear out any problems. HTML errors, especially structural ones, will cause all kinds of display problems in various browsers/versions/platforms.

    where options include:
    -help Print this help message.
    -version Print version information.
    -adminurl <https://<server>:<port>> The URL of the administration server: default
    http://localhost:7001
    -user <user> A user other than the default of

    when the application is prepared and
    activated on each target.
    -debug Displays debug level messages to the standard
    output.
    -examples Display example usage of this tool.
    -upload Causes the specified source file(s) to be
    transferred to the adminstration server. This
    is used when the Deployer tools is not being
    used on the same machine as the adminstration
    server and the user does not otherwise have
    access to place the targeted files on the
    adminstration server.
    -delete_files Causes the server to remove the files that
    are specified in the file list and leave the
    application activated. This option is valid
    only for unarchived web applications.
    -remote Signals that the tools is not runnning on the
    same machine as the adminstration server and
    that the source path should be made passed
    through unchanged as it represents the path
    on the remote server.
    -nostage Sets the stagingMethod attribute on the
    application mbean when it is created so that
    the application will not be staged and the
    original source is be used.
    -external_stage Sets the stagingMethod attribute on the
    application mbean when it is created so that
    the application will not be staged but the
    value of the staging path will be used when
    preparing the application.
    -stage Sets the stagingMethod staging attribute on
    the application when it is created so that
    the application will always be staged. This
    value will override the stagingMethod
    attribute on any targeted servers.
    -nowait Once the action is initiated the tool will
    print the task id and exit. This is used to
    initiate multiple tasks and then monitor them
    later using the -list action.
    -timeout <seconds> The maximum time in seconds to wait for the
    completion of the deployment task. When the
    time expires the current status is printed
    and the program exits.
    -source <archive file or directory> Location of the file or directory that
    represents the enterprise component or
    application tha is being (re)activated. If
    the source file is relative it is relative to

    option is used. To specify individual files
    within an application for reployment or
    addition list them at the end of the command
    line.
    -name <application name> The name of the application being deployed.
    -targets <<server 1>,...<component>@<server N>> A comma separated list of the server and/or
    cluster names. Each target may be qualified
    with a J2EE component name. This enables
    different components of the archive to
    deployed on different servers.
    -id <task identifier> Optional client supplied unique identifier
    for the deployment task. The id is first
    specified to -activate, -deactivate,

    as an argument to -cancel or -list.
    -activate (Re)activates the <source> application on the
    <targets> with the <name>.
    -deactivate Deactivates the application <name> on the
    <targets> leaving an staged application files
    in a state where the may be quickly
    reactivated.
    -unprepare Deactivates and unloads classes for the
    application <name> on the <targets> leaving
    an staged application files in a state where
    the may be quickly reloaded.
    -remove Deactivates the application <name> on the
    <target> and removes any files that were
    staged for this application. If there are no

    Type java weblogic.Deployer -examples for example usage.

    you use "deploy" under DOS-Mode to deploy your web application?
    i found some differences between "deploy" and "redeploy" function in jbuilder 9.
    when i choose "deploy" ,jbuilder shows me the commond below:
    E:\bea\jdk131_02\bin\javaw -classpath E:\bea\weblogic700\server\lib\weblogic.jar;E:\bea\weblogic700\server\lib\webservices.jar;E:\bea\weblogic700\server\lib\weblogic_sp.jar; weblogic.Deployer -user system -adminurl http://localhost:7001 -password 12345678 -deploy -name firstWebApp -upload -source E:/J2EE/servlet/firstWebApp.war -targets myserver
    WebLogic Application Deployment Utility
    when i choose redeploy,it shows me: (the -deploy parameter has changed to -activate) ,maybe it's a bug.
    E:\bea\jdk131_02\bin\javaw -classpath E:\bea\weblogic700\server\lib\weblogic.jar;E:\bea\weblogic700\server\lib\webservices.jar;E:\bea\weblogic700\server\lib\weblogic_sp.jar; weblogic.Deployer -user system -adminurl http://localhost:7001 -password 12345678 -activate -name firstWebApp -upload -source E:/J2EE/servlet/firstWebApp.war -targets myserver

  • How can I monitor Status word From the other side of the GPIB bus

    I develop Thermal system control that should be operate thru the GPIB IEE 488.2 bus , my instrument application already written in Visual Basic ,The system knowes to do basic operation such as SETPOINT ,AIRDUT , BEGIN , STOP and more but I have do a problem , any time that I capture command from the controller the status word stuck at listener mode and I can not send another command again because my loop is waiting for the other side (the controller ) to tallk by monitor the IBSTA word .
    There is anyway to reset ,clear ,initialize STATUS word again to his default value ?
    Note : I am using VB 6 , the Samples that you have here for Non-controller is good so far if I want to send and recive data manualy (c
    omputer to computer)
    What if I have A system that work and always waiting for capture command and do somthing ?
    I will be very greatful if anyone can help me , send me sample code for Status checking loop.
    MIKI-AVI

    Hello Miki-Avi,
    I'm having a little bit of trouble understanding what you're trying to do. It seems that you have an instrument application that you have written and works in some instances but gets into an infinite loop in other cases. I think that your loop is waiting for something in the Status byte to change, and you're wondering how you can get it to change.
    I'm not sure what bit you're waiting for, but I would assume that it is the LACS bit 2. You do not want to simply reset the IBSTA byte because this byte tells you what is happening on the GPIB interface. So, if you're waiting for the LACS bit to change, then you are waiting for the board to be addressed as a listener. Your controller would address the non-controller as a listener once you sent it da
    ta with an IBDEV and an IBWRT call.
    If you are looking for code for a status checking loop, check the following resources. Remember that you must call ibwait 0 to update your IBSTA byte. The 488.2 Function Reference is very useful in figuring out what you need to do.

    Hi Kieu,
    Perhaps you can try moving the webapp dir outside config/mydomain/applications.
    The webapp should be configurable from anywhere besides the applications directory.
    Any archives placed in the applications directory will be deployed automatically.
    I'm not sure why you are seeing the webapp as an app below your Applications node
    in the console though. Which version of wls are you using?

  • New iMac loses 2nd monitor

    My new Imac 21 - i7 - Lion - dual monitor (connected with thund-hdmi adaptor) has a strange behavior.
    Everything works fine, but when the system goes in power saving mode, on coming back sometimes the second monitor becomes gray (working but no wallpaper), sometimes comes back normally, but ALWAYS all applications windows goes back to the main imac monitor.
    I've tried to switch of the 2nd monitor and the behavior is the same. So is not a power saving problem.
    It seems that the imac always autodetect monitor situation on the fly and moves windows back to the main monitor.
    The problem is that the "moving windows back function" seem to be faster than monitor detection.
    Is there a way to say to lion: "I always have two monitor, please don't change"?!?
    thank you for help.

    I suspect it may be the adapter.  I would recommend trying the one Apple recommends here or trying another connections such as a VGA or DVI assuming the monitor has that type of connection.

    1. I can not use the EJB's local interface, although I have define local interface
    in config file and query code in the programe perfectly. What additional work
    has I not done;
    2. I have to compile my program into a .jar, .ear or .war file(s) to debug, that
    is a unhandy way, even I change only one line of one page, I have to redeploy
    the whole application package once more. Is there any way else to deal with the
    work? Not a .jar, .war or .ear file(s) in the design time, just one page or class
    file, and I need not deploy and compile the whole application;
    3. If I use the JBuilder9's Run command boot the WebLogic Server, the application
    deploied anteriorly becomes unavailable. But when the WebLogic Server is boot
    from console, everything is O.K.. Any advice?
    Thanks in advance for any help you offer!

    Hey Daniel.
    1. What specific problems are you having? What is your EJB architecture?
    You can find an EJB example that uses Local Interfaces here:
    http://dev2dev.bea.com/codelibrary/code/examples_ejb20.jsp
    Also, our end-to-end sample application called MedRec, found in WebLogic
    Server 8.1, uses Local EJBs.
    2. Not sure which WebLogic server you are running, but 8.1 has the ability
    to deploy ears and wars as exploded applications where non-compiled files
    remain within your source location. This feature eliminates the need to
    jar, war, or ear while also eliminating copying of source code. This
    feature is called Split Development Directory Structure. Split Development
    Directory Structure is accompanied by new Ant tasks to aid in application
    development.
    You can find more on Split Development Directory Structure here:
    http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs81/programming/environment.html#1092719.
    Ant tasks:
    http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs81/programming/environment.html#1093779
    An example is here:
    http://dev2dev.bea.com/codelibrary/code/examples_splitdir.jsp
    MedRec also uses the Split Development Directory Structure and Ant tasks.
    3. Dunno. ;-)

  • New Web Application not creating correctly

    I'm having an odd occurrence happen about 50% of the time right now when creating new web applications during my migration from SP2010 to SP2013.
    During creating a web application in Central Admin, I can get through the first setup page, then get to the "This shouldn't take long" page and will sit there for 30+ minutes. I end up closing the window and will see that the Web application is there in
    Central admin, and sometimes the DB will be created, other times not, not a big issue since I'm mounting a sp2010 database to this web application.
    What I do notice is that either a IIS site will either not be created at all, or it will be created, but the Virtual Folder is empty. When trying to delete the Web Application through central admin or PowerShell it will hang for hours until the next day
    when it's finally deleted. During this time I am not able to create any other web applications. It's usually at this time that I can successfully create a new web applications but even that is unreliable.
    Has anyone ran into this issue or can suggest any workarounds to get this working? I'm wondering if copying the contents of another web application's virtual directory to the failed web application's virtual directory will be a workaround. I still need to
    verify if creating a web application through PowerShell gives me the same headache but at the moment I'm currently waiting for a web application to delete.

    Finally got this resolved after an 8 hour call with Microsoft. After finally getting the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Application service to restart (took 4 hours) We found that changing the Shutdown time in the Web Application Pool for the Central
    Admin pool to 400 allowed for the Web Application to complete successfully.
    I'm still confused to why everything is taking so long now to complete so i'll have to look into that next.
    Folks, this is a minor problem that seems to be creeping up more and more. I personally have performed over 8 installs in various environments. I have seen this issue in 6 out of the 8 environments I have created. All servers I have tried a variation of
    software. In MOST of my tests, this seems to be a problem. Not sure why they decide to recycle the App Pool just before they perform an "Virtual Directory Copy." Here are the results of my tests. I was very methodical in my testing and made sure these were
    clean downloads every time. As you will see, I tried variations of hardware increases, physical to virtual, database versions and patch levels...etc.

  • Create a new web application, how shall I update the file server.xml

    Hi,
    I will create a new web application, i.e named newApp. Then I create a file structure as follows:
    - <server-root>/newApp
    - <server-root>/newApp/WEB-INF
    - <server-root>/newApp/WEB-INF/classes
    Then I must tell the server that I have created a new web application. Then I must update my file server.xml, How shall I do this and where in the file shall I type in the new information?
    I use windows XP Pro, and Tomcat 4.1.27.
    My server.xml file looks like below:

    <!-- Note that component elements are nested corresponding to their
    parent-child relationships with each other -->
    <!-- A "Server" is a singleton element that represents the entire JVM,

    listens for a shutdown command on the indicated port.
    Note: A "Server" is not itself a "Container", so you may not
    define subcomponents such as "Valves" or "Loggers" at this level.

    * Download and install JSSE 1.0.2 or later, and put the JAR files

    with a password value of "changeit" for both the certificate and
    the keystore itself.

    request.getRemoteHost() will return the String version of the

    If set to -1 sessions will not be backed up, 0 means they
    should be backed up shortly after being used.

    To use servlets u have indeed to update your web.xml...Well I'm not sure this is relevant to your case anyway.
    You have to add a <servlet> element to this file.
    Something like this:
    <servlet>
    <servlet-name>blabla</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>blablapackage.Blablaclass</servlet-class>
    <init-param>...</init-param>
    </servlet>
    Now this may not solve your problem. Make sure you refer to your servlets using their full qualified names.btw, just to be sure, what is your definition of "servlet"? (i mean: any java class or only javax.servlet.Servlet)
