New iCloud account on used iPhone
My daughter lost her new 5s iphone. We went to the AT&T store and had them put a new SIM card on my husband's old iphone 4 with her number.
How does she access her iCloud account from this old phone since it has his iCloud account on it. Can she just delete his account, or will that affect him and his upgraded phone?

HE has to delete the phone from his iCloud account. HE can do this on the phone by going to Settings/iCloud and turning off Find my iPhone, then deleting the iCloud account.
Or he can go to https://icloud.com/find and remove the phone from the account. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515

You can change the Apple ID without any problem. On his device, go to Settings > iCloud > Delete account and login with his Apple ID so he'll get his information. iCloud needs an Apple ID, so if he hasn't got one, he must create an Apple ID > http://appleid.apple.com
When you delete the iCloud account, all the information will be deleted, so I recommend you to turn off each service before deleting iCloud -
I have given my 4s to my wife, she has an iCloud account which uses her work address, she has now left the company and we want to start a new iCloud account, trouble is we cannot delete the old account, we have created a new iCloud account but the iPhone won't let us log into it as it only recognises the old version, we can't access her email anymore to reset the account. Have tried all online help. We restored the phone through iTunes

You can not transfer apps (or any other item except data) from one account to another, you will need to use the old account in order to update anything bought or downloaded from it.
For the data just save it all back to your Mac and then migrate it to the new account. -

Will he lose anything which is currently on his iphone device, photos, contacts etc?If your off the services "one by one" on his device (Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts), you will be asked if you want to keep the contacts on his device. He will not lose camera roll photos, but he will lose the access to your Photo Stream.
If you delete the account on his device (Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts > Delete Account) you will not lose anything on your device. -
How do I get my photos from old icloud account to new icloud account?
I had changed my email for my icloud account, but I was unable to change it on my phone. So I had to reset everything because it kept autopopulating my old icloud email. I had quite a bit of photos and I am unable to locate them. Is there a way I can retain my photos from my old icloud account to my new icloud account?

I am not aware of any method around the restriction once
the maximum has been created on any individual iPhne. -
I've recently started to use Numbers on my macbook pro but when I try to sync to iCloud it asks me to create a new iCloud account. Problem is I already have one and that's the one I want to use.
Looks like I have the same situation on my iphone.
The only option I'm being given is to create an lCloud account.
Any guidance? Thanks.The last thing you want is a second iCloud account. Try logging out and back in in System Preferences. If that doesn't work, I'd get AppleCare on the line.

How do I set up my iCloud account on this phone
You turn off data syncing with the current account, then delete it from you phone, then set up the new account and migrate your data to the new account. On the phone that will be getting the new acount, start by going to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that is syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on the iPhone. After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from his phone, not from iCloud. The other phone will not be effected by this.) Next, set up a new iCloud account on this phone using your new Apple ID and turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to this new account.

My iPhone 4 has never backed up to anything, the account I started it with I never used so I was never able to verify it or anything. I now have a new icloud account and I want to backup my phone before I get a new one in a couple of days. If I delete the old account will I lose my photos or will they still be on my phone (remember they've never been backed up)? Thanks!
You cannot delete an Apple ID, you can just stop using it. If your photos are still on your phone now, then I suggest you do back them up. Transfer them from the phone into your iPhoto Library. iCloud only backs up your Camera Roll automatically. But the Camera Roll only contains new photos that were taken but not yet transferred using iTunes.

My husband and I have been using our iCloud account for music and ap purchases only. I have decided that i would like to now create a new icloud account so that i can sync my calendar and contacts. I read about doing this online and it looks simple and easy ... and yet, when i go to switch it on my iphone, there is only 1 place for an icloud account (our shared account) and it is greyed out so that I cannot change it. How do I do this?
Whenever a menu choice is grayed out, that is because you have Restrictions turned on in Settings. Be sure to turn it off.
You are confusing an itunes store account with an icloud account. You two can continue using the same ID for itunes (thus sharing purchased music, apps, etc.), but you really should have separate accounts (different IDs) for icloud, since an account is intended for one user to keep his/her devices in sync.
To create a new icloud account, go to

Then go to Settings>icloud and scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Delete Account. (have restrictions turned off) That will disconnect the device from the account but will not delete data in icloud or other devices. Then sign in using the new ID. -

Even though I am using two separate email addresses.If it's stuck on verifying it's because she never responded to the verification email that Apple should have sent to the primary email address she used for the Apple ID she set it up with. She should check her inbox and spam/junk folder for this email and click on the Verify Now link to verify the account. If the email isn't there, she can go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under her Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.
Or, you can just delete the account (which is a misnomer since until verified the account isn't really created). -

If the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
