Kindly help how to get all the BA's and Seeded workbooks will available in discoverer.
Please provide me the steps what i need to do.
Thanks.
Subbu.

Hi Subbu,
Please read through the Metalink article, "Using Discoverer 10.1.2 with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 [ID 373634.1]". Specifically, section 6 (post install steps) addresses your specific situation:
Section 6.5: Make sure you regenerate BIS views.
Section 6.7: The Discoverer .eex files are patched to your E-Bussiness Suite Release 12 instance, directory $AU_TOP/discover. Those files must be accessible from the standalone application server where Oracle Business Intelligence Server 10g Release 2 was installed...
Hope this helps.

how many iPhone I can install my application with my apple ID? and is it legal or not??

I believe the limit on how any times an application can be installed has been removed, but, as it stands, there is no limit to the number of installations you can have... just the number of activated installations.  For what it sounds like you are doing, there is should not be an issue of hitting a limit even if there is one.
If you are reinstalling on new machines then you probably want to deactivate the current installations before you attempt to activate on the new machines.

    Hi,
According to your error message, it can be caused by the search service application cannot set up a network share for every query component where the crawlers can dump their data.
For troubleshooting your issue, please make sure the Server service in Services.msc is started, and your account is a member of WSS_WPG group and  WSS_WPG group has full control permission on C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\15.0\Data\Office

  • New install ZH77A-G43 with cloned Server 2003 won't boot in Safe mode

    Hello,
I just installed a ZH77A-G43 into an existing PC box, new Core i3, new SATA CD and 500G drive, existing tape backup connected to a SCSI card. I cloned the new harddrive into 2 partitions, the first one being a bootable Server 2003. I installed the harddrive on another computer, and the partitions appear to be cloned correctly. When I boot off the new drive in the new hardware computer it gets to the Server 2003 splash screen, and then reboots during processing of acpitabl.dat (this is in Safe mode). I've tried booting from a Server 2003 installation CD, and that also results in a reboot.
I tried removing the SCSI card, and that results in a reboot before the MSI splash screen comes up.
This is the first time I've done a hardware change like this. The MSI instructions were very simple to follow and I was exciding to see the Server 2003 splashscreen after about 30 minutes of hardware installation. But now I'm stuck and request your help.
    Regards, Philip

    Hello xmad,
Thanks for the suggestions. The CD that wouldn't boot is Server 2003 64 bit--no service pacts. I just tried my VISTA CD and it came up and was ready to start the installation. The hardware is
Seagate 500G harddrive connected to SATA2
LG OEM DVDRW 24X internal connected to SATA1
    2 sticks of DDR3 2GB 1333MHz
Quantum DLT-V4 tape backup drive connected to SCSI card
PSU is enclosed in a case labeled ANTEC DESIGN and I can't see any infor unless I take apart the enclosure.
I just removed the SCSI card, and the system reboots immediately after 1 second or so of the MSI splashscreen. With the SCSI card in, it reboots during the Server 2003 splashscreen (during processing of acpitabl.dat).
Should this system be compatible with Server 2003 64bit?
Should I next update the BIOS as you previously suggested?
    Update: I currectly have BIOS E7758IMS V1.7

  • Unable to install any applications with PCSuite

I have the latest PC Suite. Problem:
Cannot install any software onto the phone using either cable or bluetooth.
Cannot browse the phone using the Nokia Phone browser as it comes up with nothing...it wont show whats on the phone.
Only way I can transfer any software is via the obex file transfer method of sending it via a message.
Now, I dont know if this is due to an upgrade from Microsoft to sp2, as all was working about a month or so ago.
Bluetooth and usb connections are find and am using the latest drivers.
Sent an email to Nokia technical and just waiting for a reply..LOL.
Thanks to anyone who can shed any light on this for me.

    Hi,
I actually prefer the functionality of manually installing phone apps as you describe instead of using the PC Suite.
I don't use PC Suite to install .sis or .jar phone applications as it's too buggy to use. Instead, I use BlueTooth to transfer the file manually to the phone...
    - Locate the .sis or .jar file on your PC in Windows Explorer.
    - Right Click the application file.
    - Select, 'Send To', 'BlueTooth Device'.
    - Transfer file to your phone.
In the phone go to your inbox and select the newly received message. The .sis or .jar application should then install. For me, PC Suite is just too hit and miss to rely on. I used to have a 7650 before getting my current N70 and PC Suite was a bit of a double whammy in that it was not only buggy but when it did work it used to suck resources from the Windows OS quite badly.
Again, I don't use the phone's built in file browser as it is too limited and hides too many folders, I guess mainly to protect newbies from crippling their smart phone. Instead I use FExplorer V1.15 which is an excellent piece of S60 freeware. The application is available from
    http://www.gosymbian.com/
and imho is an essential app for any Series 60 smart phone. Be warned though!! If you don't know your way around the system directories and accidently delete the wrong system file you can end up seriously damaging your phone, just like Windows etc.
    Hope that helps!

  • Problem Installing an application with wine(SOLVED)

I made a directory and installed cinema 4D and for the most part it goes fine, when it's finished installing the app it comes up and i can use it,but when i exit and try to bring the app back up with       wine CINEMA 4D.exe   i get a message saying    wine: cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\CINEMA.exe".Also when i'm installing C4D at the directory selection menu, there's a directory /home/cube/.wine/drive.C/Programs where i'm assuming  that's where the app is supposed to be installed,so i checked it with   ls -as  and the Dir wasn't there so i created it,but when i'm back at the directory selection menu in C4D the Dir isn't there because the .wine Dir is hidden and i'm not sure how to unhide it or if that will even fix the    wine: cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\CINEMA.exe"    problem and execute the file.
Any help with this will be very appreciated .Thx

call wine as any other application that require a filename as argument. From your home directory:
    wine '.wine/drive_c/Program Files/.../CINEMA 4D.exe'
(the quote are necessary because of the space in the filename).
You can also specify a Windows path:
    wine 'C:\Program Files\..\CINEMA 4D.exe'

  • Installing an application with multiple CD's but one drive question....

    Hi Folks,
Did a search but I wasn't really sure what I was looking for. Last weekend I tried to install a large application on my macpro. The first disk started working, mounted an image and did it's thing, then it asked for another disk, which I had. So I tried to eject the first disk and put in the second... then it asked for the first one again.... Never seen this before. It needed the image that was on the first disk to do anything so when I ejected it to put in subsequent disks it was looking for the image that was on the first one. I hope that makes sense. Its like I needed more than one drive so that I could leave in the first one and swap others out when needed in the second drive. Is that the only way to take care of this problem?
    Thanks much.

Make disk images and mount all of them then boot from the first one.

  • SCCP 8945 not registering with new instal for 2921 with CME 10.0

I have phones which won't register at all. They seem to be missing files, but I downloaded the CME 10.0 ZIP and TFTPd it to the router and phones have access to all 10 files that I will list below. This is a snip of the failures from the actual phone have been attached. TFTP bindings have been attached. Telephony service and voice service voip config has also been attached. Sho ephone register has also been attached.
Seems like the main problem so far is the phones cannot find the files, but the files needed are no where to be found at cisco.com under the 8945 downloads page.
I need all the help I can get

Also these files I have in TFTP now on the router are the only ones I found on the 8945 downloads page on cisco.com:

  • Installing applications with OS 9

We have an iMac running OS 9.0.4. Back when I was using Mac OS 7, I read in some books on Mac OS, that installing an application with the extensions off (shift key at startup), may help avoid extension conflicts and make the program more stable. Is this still an issue with OS 9?
I also read that doing a desktop rebuild with extensions off was advisable. Is this still good advice?
Thanks for your thoughts on this.

Hi, motc. Yes to both questions. The likelihood that you'll encounter extension-related problems while performing either process with extensions turned on is quite small — but you eliminate that chance completely if they're off.
If you start up with extensions off, and then you install a package that includes extensions which would otherwise conflict with other extensions on your system, they will go right ahead and conflict the next time you start up with extensions turned on. But at least you'll know you didn't get an installation that was corrupted or aborted by an extension conflict that arose during the installation process.

  • Install from application catalog via a script

Does anyone know of a way to script the equivalent of clicking install for an application in the application catalog?  Just a thought that although users can install applications from the application catalog themselves, I can see a situation where perhaps
an exec or VIP needs a list of applications but will never go through the app catalog with hundreds of apps or more to find selected apps and install them, so one idea is for a tech to be able to run a script that will install one or more apps back to back
via script for this VIP user.  So basically a script that mimics clicking install next to an app in the catalog.
I know I can also target the user with required deployments of all those apps but trying to get out of that business of deploying individual apps to individual users or devices.  I would expect the majority of users to be able to use the app catalog
but want to have options for the small percentage that will not.

    @Mitch35
I think I understand what you're after, and let me give you a few ideas for consideration.
    1.  It sounds like you probably were doing machine based collections in ConfigMgr 2007, and then adding each machine with a direct membership rule to a collection that already had the package advertised (mandatory) to it.   This is how
many organizations did "on demand" installation of software through ConfigMgr 2007.  This method will still work in System Center 2012 ConfigMgr, however, as you note, it's cumbersome and time consuming.
    2.  You have a couple of ways that you can potentially get your list of applications down to something manageable.  First - it sounds like you won't need to have all 10,000 applications made available in the catalog to all your users.  The
application catalog isn't just a big global list of all the applications in your library that's shown to users.  Rather, the list of applications shown for any user is only the list of applications that matter to their job role, function, department,
division, group, etc.  You get to control that list by using user collections.  I know in ConfigMgr 2007, since you were likely using machine collections, this is a bit of a mental shift, but hopefully an easy one to transition to.
    3.  Start by thinking about what collections of users will need these applications, and build your collections that way.  If you manage Distribution Groups for these groups of users already in AD, then it's pretty straightforward to just build
a collection with that DG as a member.  Now, you have a mirror in ConfigMgr of your DG membership from which you can use to limit the applications shown in the catalog to members of that DG.  Or, you can just use ConfigMgr collections and add the
users to the user collections as necessary to have them see the applications in the catalog.  My guess is that you'll just want to consolidate on one method to add users to some grouping mechanism (not both AD and ConfigMgr) but that's going to be
    up to your business practices.
    4.  Let's consider your executives.  How do they get an application requested today?  Do they call a special help desk person? Do they have an assistant do it?  Their entry point into "requesting software" is your key to helping them
out.  A help desk person, or an assistant can cut/paste a link from the catalog and put it into an e-mail, and the executives can just click the link in the e-mail to go to the application details page directly.  From there, they can install the
application with one click. Or, someone can show them how to search the catalog for their application. You can also create a shortcut for the Exec's to get to the catalog, and they might be just fine using the catalog if they know how easy it is to search
for an install software.  It'll be new for them, but how many already have smartphones and install software on their phone?  Probably a lot, and hopefully the leap to using the catalog for their system isn't a problem.
    5.  You're worried about the executives searching through hundreds (or more) of applications in the catalog, but remember that the catalog allows categorization, and searching by description and keyword. I could see where you might tie those together
in such a way as to make it easy for the executive to see a small list of apps because they're in collections that really only contain the "business apps" necessary (e.g. they probably don't need to install a bunch of marketing LOB apps, or shipping department
apps), and you might be able to even add a keyword such as "Exec" or "SLT" (meaning Senior Leadership Team) or something like that to help them search in the application catalog and get a very small list of applications quickly.
    6.  Your other consider is the "new machine" scenario.  Someone gets a computer, and they need to have the "top 15 apps" installed on their system.  Again, leverage the application catalog metadata (keywords, categories and description fields)
to help users find what they're looking for quickly.  You could create a "Common Desktop Apps" category.  That might contain 50 apps, but remember that the list of apps shown to any one user is only the list that has deployments for any collections
the user is a member of.  So, even though there might be 50 apps in your "Common Desktop Apps" category, any one user might only see 15 or 20.
    7. The catalog doesn't support the ability to select several applications, and then install all at once. That's some feedback that we've heard customers would like the ability to do, but it's not currently in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager.
So, if you want to go the route of enabling this functionality, you'll need to write your own application catalog with that capability. We have an updated revision of the SDK that was posted recently, but unfortunately, we don't yet have the application catalog
API's documented.   It will be a little while until we're able to get that documentation out.  I'd suggest you take a look at the targeting and categorizations and keyword options that you have to make it easier for your users to find what they're
    looking for in the catalog.
    Hope this helps,
    Dave
