New iOS update freezes phone at terms and conditions screen
I am attempting to update the latest iOS and going through the steps it freezes at the Terms and Conditions screen. I can't go forward or back. It looks as though I can make the selections (agree/disagree) but when I click on it nothing happens. HELP!
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

I have iOS 8.0 (12A365) on my iPhone 5c. The phone has 32 GB, 16 GB available.
Tried to update to iOS 8.0.2 over the network, but after touching "Agree" on the pop-up from the Terms and Conditions screen, the Settings app froze. The screen did not close, and everything on it became un-responsive. The home button still worked, and other apps still worked, but I had to reboot the phone to get back to a usable Settings app. I'll try updating via iTunes next. Meanwhile, has anyone else had this problem?FWIW, updating via iTunes (11.4 on Windows 7) worked

Frozen "Terms and Conditions" screen after trying to update iOS 8.0.2
Can anyone help me with this problem? Update for iOS 8.0.2 freezes at the "Terms and Conditions" page. I also noticed that a bitton in an apple support email would not work.
At 11pm ext on 9/29 i was finally able to get past the Agree window on my iPad trying to update to iOS 8.0.2 after I made a change and activated or agreed to terms for iCloud.
Unfortunately, I am now not able to get past the Update Requested (grayed out) rectangular window below Learn More.
Additionally, not able to update any application nor is my CNBC application openable nor updatable. Really frustrating. -
While updating my ipad to ios7, I could not pass the terms and conditions screen where I had to agree or disagree. It just didn't move pass that screen. I can't do anything to go forward or back. It's just stuck there.
Try to reset the device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally. -

HT4623 update won't go past Terms and Condition Screen, I clicked agree
I cannot complete update. When I get to Terms and Conditions screen, I click agree, then a window pops up asking if I agree, I click agree, but then it goes straight back to "terms and Conditions" page.
Try doing a hard reset by holding both buttons (as in, the only buttons the iPod Touch has) until the screen goes black and the apple logo appears. I had the same problem and by doing a hard reset I was able to get past the screen with no difficulty.

While trying to update my Ipad to the new operating systemm my screen is stuck on the "Terms and Conditions" screen. I tried touching the "agree" button and the "send my email" button, but nothing happens. I can't get out of the screen without missing my full update. Please help.
completely switch off your ipad with pressing the top power button really long and then swipe the red swiper at the top. Then turn your ipad back on, skip the icloud login screen and you should be good! That's what i did so should work for you too

Get past terms and conditions screen
I installed Yosemite on my Mabbook retina and I was stepping through set up fine. I am now on the Terms and Conditions screen and while my keyboard and cursor are not frozen, neither the Back or Agree buttons are responsive. So essentially I am stuck
I just overcame the problem. I turned the phone off then back on. I was taken through several steps again. This time the install acted appropriately. We are now up and running!

If you are seeing the Ts & Cs link in the Downloads tab in the iTunes app then that just means that you don't have any ongoing/queued downloads - your film has finished downloading and should be in the Videos app (iTunes on the iPad is just the iTunes store) :
