New iphone purchased with someonse else info on it
I received an email today from someone you purchased an new iphone yesterday at the same store I took my iphone to a few weeks ago for a voice mail problem. This person plugs in her new iphone and my email address came up and no telling what other info of mine might be on her NEW IPONE. How did this happen? ATT says its an Apple issue I can not get anyone at Apple.
A new iPhone that was purchased at an Apple Store or at an AT&T Store?
Not sure how this can occur since the only thing an Apple or AT&T Store does with a new iPhone is activate the iPhone with AT&T.

I bought a new iPhone 4 with iOS 6.1.3 installed. When I connected it to itunes for the first time to activate it iTunes asked me to enter the password for an account that the iPhone is locked to like if the device was used before what shall I do? Look iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is a backup listed for your iPhone 5 dated BEFORE you restored your iPhone 4 backup to your iPhone 5? If not, your data is gone. If there is a backup, on your iPhone 5: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. You should now be able to restore that backup, if it exists, to your iPhone 5.

Hi, I set up my new iPhone S4 with iclouds. So the data of my old S3 should move to the S4. However, some applications could not be loaded on the S04. Now some apps are loaded and others not . How can I progress?
Thanks. I can change the forwarding settings in Gmail to be either POP or IMAP. That is quite simple. I just looked at those settings on the Gmail server and, to my surprise, both are enabled. In order for outlook client on my computer to receive IMAP emails I have to change the email account settings in my current outlook from POP to IMAP. I don't need to be using the Exchange version of Outlook to receive IMAP. I guess I'll do a little research tomorrow on Exchange so i can figure out what, if anything, it might do for me.
I glanced at the link you sent me and it looks like it might be very helpful - another project for tomorrow.
BTW: I hit "This Solved my Question" by accident. I meant only to "like' your response so you would get some benefit from the help you've given me so far. I hope I haven't discouraged others from taking a shot at helping me. I suspect there is more than one way to approach this and, as you know, my problem isn't really solved until I have what I need all set up and running smoothly. -
Syncing new iphone 5 with a Mac with itunes 10.6.3. Error message says iphone cannot be used because requires itunes 10.7 or later. Unable to download Itunes 10.7 to Mac. What do I have to do to import songs from Mac to new Iphone 5 ?
iOS 6 (which runs on the iPhone 5) requires iTunes 10.7, which requires OS X 10.6.8 or higher.

Brand new iphone 4 with 0 bytes of storage
I just bought a new iPhone 4 with 8G of storage but prior to any restoring, 6.4 GB are already used and 0 bytes are available. This is silly, I can't even take a picture. Can someone tell me how to free up that space? Keep in mind it has no music, videos, photos, contacts, etc.

Bought a new iphone 6 with Verizon plan 2/11/15. Tried to connect with my home wifi 3 or 4 times with I thought the correct password but now it says Forget This Network and wont let me try again. Can't its the only network available. How do I clear this and start over. Thanks, this laptop connects fine but this is my first smartphone and I don't see why it gives a crap if I mess up 50 times! to your home wifi. May I ask are you able to connect to other wifi networks? If
so then please forget your home network again, turn wifi off, reboot, and
retest. If this doesn't work then you will want to reset network settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Keep in mind that
this will delete ALL wifi passwords that you have saved.

Can't connect my new iPhone 4 with internet via Time Capsule. IP4 recognized TC but will not connect with it. (Password etc. is ok)
Do the usual wireless things.
Change the wireless name to simple name with only alphanumerics and no spaces.
Set to manual and use channels 1, 6, 11 in turn.
For testing take off the security altogether.
The iphone only works on 2.4ghz so only that band is relevant. -
I had an iphone 3GS (normal sim), but received my new iPhone 5 with micro sim, but wanted to keep old mobile number so rang up to change it, normal text messaging is working fine, but iMessage is still using the number I received with iPhone 5, how do you delete that number I can only receive iMessages on my original number?

HT1386 I cannot synch my new iPhone 5 with iTunes
I cannot synch my new iPhone 5 with iTunes. I have iOS 6.0.2 and on my MacBook Pro Mac OS 10.7.5. Strange enough my iPhone 4 with iOS 6.0.2 I can synch without any problem. Once the iPhone 5 is identified in iTunes (it takes some time) a disk is rotating as 1st step of synchronisation and after around 5 min it stops rotating but nothing has synched.
I also tried this. But it is still not synching. Only the small disk is rotating. No other error message.
I suspect there might be something with the phone not in order. Do you know if and where I can delete a synch history on the phone or in iTunes?
