New memory - Don't see any difference (??)
Back on September 8, mrtotes was very helpful to me in figuring out how much & which memory to purchase with diagrams and all for installation. Today I received my 1GB of memory in the mail and following the terrific directions had it installed in minutes. After restarting my computer and signing on to the internet, I find that it's still taking 30-45 seconds to launch just about any web page. So, it seems nothing has changed.
I have checked the memory section in "About this Mac", and it still says 256 MB DDR SDRAM. Looking further that memory slot (DIMM0/J22) shows as "empty" How can this be? And why?
Here is the description of what I installed: KINGSTON/MICRON 1GB PC2700 333MHZ 200 PIN DDR SODIMM - GUARANTEED COMPATIBLE. That's correct, yes? I lined up the notch as described, and clicked it down into place. Beautiful! Now what? mrtotes? You out there??

Assuming that is the correct chip,
take it out and reseat it again, very firmly.
If it does not show up in the "About this Mac" section,
it's not working.

I'm using my iPod and an Epson XP-810 printer to print pages from websites and emails and etc.
How do I print just 1 page out of 14 pages .
I don't see any settings on my iPod and can't find settings on the printer .

I'm having trouble with a sync alert. It's not clear to me if the default sync for calendar is my iphone (3G) or my mac (shows 82 modifications). I want it to default to the mac but the wording suggests the iphone. Anybody know the default device and if it can be and if the other can be selected if desired
Also, I don't see any way to do the sync on an individual entry basis for calendar. Looks like it will only do all of them at once. I'd like to go through them one by one to confirm which entry is correct.

If that won't work, perhaps you can use Find my iPhone from a computer in your iCloud.com account to erase the device.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone. -

I went to the Apple store and they couldn't resolve the problem ...Help!!! Any other suggestion?Is it being marked by your email provider? Check the raw headers and see if there is an x-spam header.

Problem with registering Parser - Recompiled source code, don't see any changes
I had created a parser. I had register this parser with Ifs Manager. I had execute this following statement to see if been registered carefully:
On user ifssys/ifssys

All it's ok. I upload a file with a 'p01' extension with option 'parser' on my Internet Explorer. All work fine.. My parser work. But I need to do some changes in my code. I update my code, recompile my code. My class file have been updated. After my parser (.class) file have been updated I upload a new file with parse option. I don't see any change I do in my code. Why??? How I can update my parser to view change. I have only recompile my code an place my new class files on the same directory. I have try again (change on code, recompile, test) and I don't see any changes.
But I have test by change my classname. My classname before is Test1 and I have rename my classe by Test2. I have compiled this code and a file Test2.class have been generate. I have update my register parser with Ifs Manager to use the new classname Test2. I have chack with sql statement to see if my parser have been updated. I have been updated correctly. I have upload a new file with parse option and I see my change on my code..
Do you have some explanations about that??

nullOk, but they have another manner to resolve this problem. If I upload a file with parser option on Windows Nt explorer (Using SmbServer or WcpServer). How I can update the class file into the JVM? I need the restart this those server or just one? If just one which server I need to restart?

I currently have Photoshop CS5 standard, and want to upgrade to CS5 Extended to get the 3D capabilities. Is this possible, I don't see any CS5 upgrades available? I tried to download a new trial version as well, but my current operating system will not support it, so I'd like to stick w/ a version of CS5 that will allow me to work in 3D. What are my options?

My iPhone 5 have the glass popping sound when I press on the top left corner of my phone but I don't know why, I don't see any visibility of the glass coming out. My friends all told me to not exchange because after all the software is perfectly fine.
My phone just turned 2 months old. But in Singapore as long your phone is under one year warranty I can still go for an exchange at the respective telco, but my friends all suggest me to not change now cause after changing it'll be a refurbished set instead of a brand new one.

Supposedly OSX Mavericks downloaded. I saw it downloading in launchpad. I left and came back and I guess it was all finished. How do I make sure it downloaded. I can't see any difference. Also, I have a notice that I should upgrade Mac EFI Firmware 2.1. And I got a notice that my ILibrary has changed locations. I don't have an ILibrary.
Look in your Applications folder for Install Mac OS X Mavericks file.
Better be sure you straighten out those peculiarities on your system before you upgrade to Mavericks or you will likely find yourself with a botched system. Be sure to perform the EFI update before upgrading, too. Put all normal OS X applications and files where they belong. Otherwise, erase the drive first. (after the EFI update.) -

I do not know what tech. s lacking in iphone 4 that prevents it to be able to use turn by turn navi. I do not see any difference between 4 vs 4S and yet 4S is able to support it. I am very disappointed with apple as i was when 4S was released. I will not purchase iphone5 becuase i think its nowhere near what apple calls it "perfect". there are plenty of other phone around. Lumia 920 for example is a much better phone. Just disappointed with apple...

how I can delete add-in applications in add-in applications section , I try to delete one but I don't see any delete function, I see only enable and disable function in the manage add-in applications wizard.

If you want to remove the add-ins of Office 2010 programs, you need to remove it from control panel.
For example, if you use Excel, please try to follow the link to delete the add-ins:

I upgraded from Snow Leopard, where performance was great on my Mac Mini, to Mountain Lion, where performance is so bad that I'm now attempting a clean-install of Mavericks. But, I don't see any way to set up my local website. I don't see a Sites directory or any control in System Preferences to set up the web site. How is this done in Mavericks?
