NewsExlplorer shows several links like "SAP demo news", "New FAQ's" etc.???

I created a XmlForm to edit News but the problem is that when i set it to News Explorer, it by default shows several links like New Sap demo news, New FAQ's link. Is it possible to show only one special link, how can i delete the other links?

Please go to Content Management> Form Based Publishing> Forms Availability--> Folder Settings
Here create new or duplicate existing ones .
Folder Path --> Give the path to your folder
Forms to Exclude --> SAP_APP_* (if u don't want std forms)
Forms to include ---> Give the ID of your form, it can be CSV's also

Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website.
You can check the properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Command+B on Mac).
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right.
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected. -
Some links like youtube open in new tab but never have before, how do I fix this?
All of a sudden, when I go to youtube or really anything. It opens it in a new tab when it never did before. It would only open in new tab when I told it to or when I clicked on a url. I really don't know a lot about this so if somebody could help me that would be great.

Content action links like Edit, Delete...just disappear
I am facing this unique issue for which I dont seem to find any helpful material.
We are running Oracle® Application Server Portal 10g (9.0.4.1) on Linux.
On several occasions and now a days often scenario, the pagegroups page of the Portal Navigator, which displays the action links like Edit, Delete, Export, View...etc just disappears and gives me or any content user no means to perform any action on the page groups or pages. This happens even when logged in as ORCLADMIN.
Attimes the links work/come back if the cache is cleared but this is not always true.
Do help me as this on an overall basis doesnt help maintain this website or its content and seems entirely a wasteful portal option, which I hate to admit at this point.

I have seen this problem with a multiple machine environment where the Web Cache Invalidation port causes problems on the instances when pages get cached. I ask because you mentioned clearing your cache sometimes helps.

How do I move Elements 8 projects (slide shows) from a Windows XP computer to new Windows 7 computer that also has Elements 8 on it so that the slides shows will work (Elements 8 works well on the Windows 7 computer & I have done several new slide show projects on it)? I tried backup & restore without success. I have also found the .psess files and copied them to the catalog in the new computer but when the sides shows are opened none of the images or music is there. Only the text that I entered shows. I have even tried to replicate the file paths from the XP computer to the new computer to see if that will help.
UPDATE: By a stroke of luck I happened to find a catalog link (a PSE8D file) in the 'My Catalog' file where the imported data was stored. When I clicked on it to investigate what is was 'magically' all of my transferred projects appeared in Organizer. Upon further investigation I found that the projects transferred from my XP computer were stored in a hidden catalog that had to be accessed through the Custom Location option in Catalog Manager (accessed by clicking File then Catalog then Custom Location). No Windows or Elements search revealed this fact. I am appreciative that I just got lucky. The Adode/Photoshop company was absolutely of no help. If fact to me their structure is designed to avoid contact with their customers unless you're buying a new product. Their products have many good features (even though user unfriendly) and it's a shame they don't value their customers more once the sale is completed.
Bottom line: All of the projects (sideshows) have been recovered and work in my new Windows 7 computer. I hope my experience helps others. -
I transferred itunes library from old PC to new PC. The content all shows when I launch iTunes on the new PC now. The previous content does not show in iTunes but folder still looks like it is on hard drive on new PC. Suggestions on how to properly merge?
Before you connect any device to a new library go to the Devices tab of the the preferences panel via Edit > Preferences (Windows) or iTunes > Preferences (Mac) and ensure the box next to Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically is ticked. You can now safely connect the device to your computer without the danger of media being automatically deleted or overwritten.
To get all your content off your connect your iPad to your new computer.
Then use a 3rd party piece of software to transfer your content

Chrome versions 21-26 show severe problems with flash deep links

New Chrome versions (at least versions 21-26) produce severe problems with Adobe Flash concerning deep links.

Since August 2012 all new versions starting from version 21 to 26 (at least 32-bit Windows) do no longer support for example deep links into Flash. I.e. links like:
poly-9.php#two
It does not matter, what deep link you want to jump to (two, three, four etc.), Chrome always starts with „one“ / at the beginning of the Flash-animation.
Like all other browsers (I successfully tested: Opera, Safari, Firefox, Internet-Explorer) Chrome should jump directly to the deep link #two, #three, etc.
It does not matter which flash player I have been using over the last 9 months (at the time 11.6.602.180).
This is a major problem as only my website contains more than 14,000 Flash files with over 100,000 deep links.
In fact, I reported the bug (first noticed with Chrome 21) to Google beginning October 2012 (see bug reports on my page http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=154494). But recently, I got the feeling, that there seems to be little interest in solving this problem. Actually, after I had informed Google about it, they even rolled out new versions of Chrome containing the bugs, instead of repairing it.
Do you know any work around or can you offer any help?

in-tanzChrome uses a proprietary build of the plug-in called "PepperFlash" because it's a PPAPI plug-in where the ActiveX and standard plug-in are NPAPI. That may have something to do with it.

I'd like to have web links open automatically in a new tab. How do I make this happen?
1. When I open Firefox I have it set up that my gmail page automatically opens. When I want to go to another web site a new tab does not open but replaces my gmail tab. Then I have to use "back" or "history" to return to the gmail page. This gets difficult when I have been surfing the web & then have to go "back" thru numerous web pages. I'd like each web page to open in it's own tab. How do I do this?

Is there a way to 'Force all Links to be opened in New Tabs ' like Maxthon browser?
Is there a way to get Firefox to 'Force all Links to be opened in New Tabs, like Maxthon browser does ? I really like this Maxthon feature but hate Maxthon as it has always has and continues to lock up all the time (what a pain!!)
Hoping Firefox can do this. By the way I know if you right click a link and ask for it to open in a new tab it will. I want it to be automatic.

I have a mac book pro that i bought in late 2009. My current software is snow leopard version 10.5.8. When I open a new tab...the link on the new tab shows the link of the page I'm previously on. Some of the other page had that effect too. But some website doesn't seem to be affected(ex: Twitter)

Forms Builder / SAP Demo News / Where is the Savepath specified?

i just want to check out how the forms Builder work and if i can use it for some little things in our Portal.. so i wanna try the SAP Demo News....
So i think i check how it works.. but i have only one question.. where in the Forms Builder in SAP Demo News is specified where the news are saved when i write one?
So the Standart Path is: \documents\News
So what is if i want to change the path to: \Documents\xyz
Where in the Form i have to specifie this?

You can pass the path as parameter (post/path=) to the url.
For example
http://server/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.xmlformedit?XMLFormID=new_form&post/path=/documents/UserMessages
Also change the configuration of km folder to your new folder. This will alow to edit the news directly from km folder.
Go to System administration -> System configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management -> Form Based Publishing -> forms availability.
Creat an id with the following properties - the folder path within which the form has to appear for e.g., /documents/News and under the Forms to Include - Mention the XML forms to be included.
