Next / forward button quit working
I was cleaning up my HD, transferred iTunes folder to external HD. Dragged & dropped files back into music lib, now the forward/back buttons don't work. Files play when clicked/opened directly, but won't move to next song.
PPC G4, 1.25ghz, 1.25gsram,OS10..4.11, itunes 8.2
Try resetting the ipod first.

Can't get Next/Previous Buttons to work
Hi,
I am trying to get the next/previous buttons to work on my jsp page. I have collected data from a resultset and stored it in an arrayList. My problem is that I am getting a null pointer exception when I try to display the jsp. I have a one to many relationship 1 company to many contracts and want to be able to go backwards and forwards through the contracts using the previous/next buttons. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Below is my code:

First/Previous/Next/Last buttons not working in Applications Master Detail

I attempted to create an Applications Master Detail UI by selecting Applications : Master Detail from the Applications Component Palette. I created the UI using my headers table (APPLCORE_SHIPMENT_HEADERS) as the master and the lines table (APPLCORE_SHIPMENT_LINES) as the detail. The master is shown as a form and the details are displayed as a table below. On the screen with the checkboxes to include First, Previous, Next, Last buttons, I checked all of them.
On the backend, my headers table has two rows.
When I ran the page:
1. When the page comes up, it shows the data for shipment header 1 and the associated details in the table below. This is correct.
2. However, the First and Previous buttons are enabled at the top. They should not be enabled since I am on the first record, and there is no previous record. This is incorrect.
3. When I click Next, the data does not update to the the next header record (shipment header 2). The data is still for shipment header 1. This is incorrect.
4. When I click Next once more, an Error window pops up:
Messages for this page are listed below.

(same error is shown for all other columns in the lines table)
I was under the impression that we do not need to do anything special for the First/Previous/Next/Last buttons to work, other than checking the boxes in the page creation process.

I have tried to start from scratch several times to no avail. Please advise.

In PC Companion you press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Repair phone/tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.
Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.

Forward button not working on last page of module with links
CP4 - When I have links on a page, I select the Pause until User clicks option on the click box for the link. This pauses the module until the user has an opportunity to look at the material when they click a link. The Forward button works fine when they come back to the module. However, it does not work on the last page of a module, Forward will not go to the next module -- the Play button must be pushed to Forward to the next module. I have the Preferences Start/End to open another project when they reach the end.
Can anyone tell me why the Forward button isn't working on the last page when there are links on that page?

LaraineI did a work around which is time consuming and inefficient. I duplicated the slide, removed the link click box and made the animations static. I also set the slide time length to 0.1, now the forward button on the previous slide works.

My forward button doesnt work!
i got a brand new ipod video for christmas. i JUST bought a mac mini 2 days ago. i transferred songs to my ipod and the next button doesnt work. i tried using ipod updater and it did not resolve the problem. i did the five r's on the site and it did not resolve the problem. is there anything else you know of that will allow me to fix this problem? it is quite annoying to have an album open and not be able to go to the next song by the touch of a button.
I suggest you return it. If updating or restoring it didn't solve the problem, it's probably something with the circuitry. I wouldn't risk trying to open it up.

I use VB to generate a report using the Crystal Reports Activex Control Version 8.0.0.4. When the report appears on the screen the next page button does not change the page. When the last page button is press the report show 1 of 33 at the top of the screen. The next button still does not work.

I'm adding buttons (that open other Captivate tutorials) to
the end of my tutorials. If the user doesn't click the buttons
pretty quickly they quit working. They highlight and look like
they're being clicked, but they don't open the programmed project.
It seems to me that when the slide ends, so does the functionality
of the button. The buttons don't have a "pause until user clicks"
option to check. They do have a pause time, but frankly I thought
that was causing the problem and I turned it off (or I shouldn't
have done that?). But apparently that hasn't helped.
Then, I added an invisible click box to the page that doesn't
do anything if clicked, and has the pause until user clicks
functionailty enabled. This seems to work, but is it necessary?
Feeling like I must be missing something here and can use

Buttons by their very nature are designed to pause until the
user clicks. So you really shouldn't turn off the pause.
Normally, if you don't change the action assigned to the
button, it will simply "Continue playing project" when it has been
clicked. And all a button will receive is a single click and it's
done. So if you failed to change the default, the user clicks and
the button continues to the pause point and stops. Then it is dead,
as the single click has expired.
By turning off the pause, you have probably allowed the
playhead to move into the "Inactive" part of the button.
Personally, I'd suggest deleting the buttons AND the Click
Box (The Click Box shouldn't be needed, as the Button should
provide the pause). Then carefully re-insert buttons and be careful
and specific with what you tell them to do. Ensure they pause and
ensure they do something other than "Continue playing project" when
clicked by the user.

My track pad mouse button quit working
The mouse button on my MacBook has quit working, the track pad itself works fine, moves the mouse pointer, etc, but nothing can be selected with the button. Same problem in Windows booted through boot camp. I noticed the problem after running the boot camp support program, this may have "broken" the operation of the select button, but I don't know how to back out those driver updates.
This has been happening to me too. I can hit Escape and things go back to normal.

Expand buttons quit working until I remove history
When I log into my employer's web site, there are expand/collapse buttons that work perfectly, and have always worked perfectly. Recently, I purchased a Windows 8 computer, and along with it came Firefox 21.0, and suddenly, the expand collapse buttons are problematic. I haven't nailed it down exactly, but after some number of uses, the buttons stop working. After I clear history, they start working again.
In the interest of full disclosure, I have third party software that enhances the capability of my company's web site that uses scripts and Grease Monkey. However, disabling Grease Monkey does not seem to have any impact on the issue.

There is no fixing the lock button without voiding the warranty; however,there is a work around. Go to Settings>General>Acessibility>Assistive Touch
Turn that ON, once you have done so, a white square/circular icon will pop up onto your screen. If you click it, click on DEVICE and hit the button that says LOCK screen, your phone will now be locked. Since your lock button is now broken, I would advise for you to ocassionally restart your phone, maybe a few times a month, to prevent it from lagging, you can do this by hitting the White square/circular button>Device, and holding down the Lock screen button a for a few seconds, and powering it off. To turn it back on, simply plug your phone back into the charger. As for the camera not working, I have no idea how to fix that. -
Navigation (Back/Forward) buttons not working in Firefox
I'm tring to put together a Browser Based help guide, and for the most part it's working as intended... except for the navigation buttons within the help guide themselves. By that I mean...
Those guys. The way I would assume they work is that they provide back/forward navigation between topics as you move through the guide, but they don't seem to be functional. As in, they do nothing, ever. They don't even act clickable.
(The forward and back buttons provided by my browser do seem to work, but I'd like to get these working, as well.)
We're testing mostly in Firefox 13; we've also tried IE 9, and the buttons work correctly. Any ideas?

It's odd that these would work fine in IE. To my knowledge, they aren't there to navigate from visited topic to visited topic and back. Unless I'm mistaken, they are there to traverse one or more Browse Sequences that have been defined.

Once the screen is turned on, the only way it powers down is after it times out from lack of use.1. Try doing a reset(no data will be lost):
Disconnect the iPhone from any computer. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/wake(power) button simultaneously for about 15 seconds and release when the Apple logo appears. This may not work if the power button is actually faulty.
2. If that doesn't solve the issue, backup the device and restore it as new.

NB: set up as a NEW device because a software issue will be in the backup. If the issue persists after restoring as new, you should offer the device for service.
