Next page problem

Hi ,
I am having three pages in my service invoice layout first,next,summary .
it is like this : page : first nextpage : next
                    page: next  nextpage : summary
                    page : summary  nextpage : summary
my req: there is header change for next  and summary page. so whenever data present in the main window is fully printed then only summary page should start printing .
but my case problem is whenever data exceeding more than one page for next the header is changing and it is dispalying the summary header .but as per my requirement it should only display next header  and when data present in the next is totally printed it should call summary page.
can any one help me in this ? pl let me know if my question is not clear.
Regards,
Pdp

Hi Sandra,
it is regarding the scripts .
I will explain more detal .
it is like this : page : FIRST nextpage : NEXT
page: NEXT nextpage : SUMMARY
page : SUMMARY nextpage : SUMMARY
In my case we are maintaing same itemheader coloumns for FIRST and NEXT   ,different  itemheader coloumns for NEXT and SUMMARY pages.
eg : if the output is printing 4 pages then data will start printing on page FIRST then NEXT then SUMMARY .IF data present in main window is more in NEXT page then it should print in 3 rd page with NEXT page iteamheaders.It should print in this manner .FIRST->NEXT->NEXT->SUMMARY .
But in my case what happening is for 3rd page it is printing SUMMARY page itemheaders  .
how can we know whether total data present in the mainwindow of next page is printed fully ?

    This is my code, and i think it's correct, i was using this code in previous versions of crystal report (cr10) and it worked fine,
    When i used the Data set , the next page and zoom worked fine, but with stored procedure it doesn't work,
    Note: when i open the Tree of Data on the left, then click on the next page or the zoom, it become funtional, it's very weird,
    protected void *Page_Init*(object sender, EventArgs e)
    if (!IsPostBack)
    reportDocument = (ReportDocument)this.Page.Session ["_reportDocument"];
    if (reportDocument != null)

    @Don:
    Sorry, but i donno what do you mean by "what is the App Pool running in 32 or 64 bit?",
    i am running the application locally, ( the IIS is installed locally ),
    as i told you, my OS is 64bit,
    And yes i tried a very simple report, with just one field , and the "next button" is also not working,
    Its only not working with stored procedure, in the others methods ( push or pull method is working fine)
    i think its a problem in refreshing page, because when i open the tree on the left, then click on next page or zoom, its works fine
    @Ludek:
    i changed my code as below, and it doesn't solve my problem:
            ReportDocument reportDocument;
            protected void Page_Init(object sender, EventArgs e)
                if (!IsPostBack)
                    reportDocument = (ReportDocument)this.Page.Session["_reportDocument"];
                    if (reportDocument != null)
                        string rptFile = reportDocument.FileName.Split('
    ', '/').Last();
                            TableLogOnInfo log = new TableLogOnInfo();
                            ConnectionStringSettings conn = WebConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings[0];
                            SqlConnectionStringBuilder SConn = new SqlConnectionStringBuilder(conn.ConnectionString);
                            log.ConnectionInfo.ServerName = SConn.DataSource;
                            log.ConnectionInfo.DatabaseName = SConn.InitialCatalog;
                            log.ConnectionInfo.UserID = SConn.UserID;
                            log.ConnectionInfo.Password = SConn.Password;
                            log.ConnectionInfo.Type = ConnectionInfoType.SQL;
                            for (int i = 0; i < reportDocument.Database.Tables.Count; i++)
                                reportDocument.Database.Tables<i>.ApplyLogOnInfo(log);
                        this.Page.Session["_reportDocument"] = reportDocument;
                        CrystalReportViewer1.ParameterFieldInfo = (ParameterFields)this.Page.Session["_paramFields"];
                        CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = reportDocument;
                        CrystalReportViewer1.ShowFirstPage();
                else
                    CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = this.Page.Session["_reportDocument"];

  • Table Problem x2 within Pages: 1) In the Header; 2) Maintaining a table's starting point when carrying over to the next page.

    Pages '09 v4.1
    Problem 1:
         I am working with a 2-column Page document. Its my goal to have three items listed in a header in particular positions. Far left shows the paragraph number the page starts with, in the center is a title of the contents of the page, and on the far left is the last paragraph number to appear. To place these three items in the desired positions requires the insertion of a lot of spacing on both sides of the 'centered' title along with counting the characters of the title to find its center to alighn with the center of the page. 253 pages of this to will qualify me to be labled with a severe case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I don't want OCD.
         However, by installing a one row/3 column table in the header my task was made a lot easier in alighnments. But, another problem reared up. Within the header underneath the table is a vertical space remaining. This vertical 'tallness' is equivalent to the font size of 10. Its taking up too much space between the header and the text. It needs to be reduced or eliminated.
         On the left-hand page I am able to reduce the font as far down as '1'. I've settled on using '3'. However, on the right-hand page the font will not accept any size selections be they less or more and remains stubbornly at font 10. Within a Header that does not have a table, I am able to change the font of both left and right pages.
         Is there a another way to approach what I desire for the header other than installing a table in it? Is there a way to alter the font on the right hand pages?
    Problem 2:
         Whenever I create a table following text already on a page all is right until the table's growth in construction laps over to the next page. At that point the first row snaps to the top of the following page leaving an undesired area (space) between the last line of the text on the preceding page. Whenever I attempt to drag the table to the desired position it snaps back. This only happens when the table is larger than the remaining area of the page. If the table is started at the top of an unused page and runs beyond the confines of that page than it continues as expected onto the next page duplicating the table header. But to do this it must begin at the top of an unused page. Is there a means to have a table placed in the remaining space of a page and what does not fit continues to the next page in effect having a partial of the table on each page?
    So there you have it. Christmas is over and its back to work. Thank-you for your attention.

    Regards re-positioning a table:
    I went to Inspector>Wrap>Object Placement/Inline (moves with text) and found that the inline option was selected. Some of the rows within the table have two lines of text. Again, I dragged the table to the desired position on a page that is partially composed with text and got the same results as before -  the table snapping back to the top of the following page where it initially resided. In this current position the 2-page table does break as it should on the following 3rd page. Below is a schematic of the appearance of the 2-pages involved.
    Page 1 left side.
    TEXT 1-line as 1-column
    TABLE (5-rows)
    TEXT (2-columns) 14-lines left column and 13-lines right column.
    [Layout Break] otherwise the above textual columns would be all on the left side of the page.
    TEXT 1-line as 1-column
    * The desired insertion point for a two page table on a page that is 40% filled with the above descriptions.
    Page 2 right side.
    A 2-page table flowing or breaking into a 3rd page.
    Page 3 left side.
    The overflow of the subject table.
    [Layout Break]
    [Section Break]
    Is there some other way to anchor a table to the text other than Inspector>Wrap>Object Placement/Inline (moves with text)?

  • Problem in Smartform where next page is printing unnecessarily

    I have written a smartform to print our packing slip. In my main window I loop through the delivery items for printing and after I have finished printing all of the items associated with the one delivery item  I want to  print out a u-line so that the form will be easier to read(some sort of way of grouping the items visually) I am accomplishing this by using sy-uline. The problem arises though that sometimes Iwhen I hit a page break  the only thing that will print on the next page is this uline. I do not want this line to print at the beginning of the main window on a next page but I have been unable to figure out anyway to keep it from printing. I have tried page protection for the paragraph format being used but that does not work. Has anyone come up with a way to print out a dividing horizontal line across the main window after a loop but control it so that it would not cause the form to think  a second page is needed just because of this one line.
    Any help would be much appreciated.
    Karen

    HI,
    Create a Folder,  move your table and what ever code written in program lines under the folder.
    click on folder check page protection, it will solve your problem.
    Thanks,

  • Problem with Next-page in script.

    hi ,
    i m wrkng on order acknowledgement output in SAP SCRIPT.
    The problem i have is that for particular Sales organisations only i want terms & conditions page to be printed at the back of all pages. else oredr acknowldgement to be printed without T& C irrespective of number of pages.
    I have created a T & C page and first page. in attributes if i set next page 2 T& C then it will print for all sales org. But i want to restrict it 2 particular sales org.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Raju,
        i guess the data of your main window is not continuing till 2nd page thats why its not triggering your second page and as a result the signature window is not getting printed.
        So create a COMMAND NODE on your first page ( after the main window of fast page or the place where you want the second page to trigger ) and in its condition tab click the 'Go to New Page' option and give the second page name there, now it will force the second page to trigger.
    With luck,
    Pritam.

  • Problem with viewing the next page on "My Wish List"

    Hello: "My Wish List" page in the iTunes store won't let me see page 2 (or higher). Even when I click on the obvious icon labelled "2" or "next" (as in "next page"), the page stubbornly remains on page 1.  This seems ridiculous, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having this gnat of a problem?  Any suggested solutions welcomed -- thanks in advance. Oh yes, I'm using iTunes 10.4.1.

    While playing any song on your iPod, tap the artwork to bring up the scrubber bar and additional controls. On the left hand side is a option for repeat. You want to make sure this icon is white (meaning it is set to Off). If it isn't tap it either one or two times to change its current setting.
    Any luck there?

  • Problems when trying to move a paragraph with a heading to the next page

    When i try to move a paragraph with a heading (generally style 2) to the next page by pressing the enter key, rather than the whole paragraph moving to the top of the next page it moves to pretty well every where but the top. i have attached a video because im sure what i have said doesn't make much sense.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrlnsmLIDGk&feature=youtubegdataplayer
    i have talked to an apple technician through apple care and we came to the conclusion after reseting iwork to default settings still with no changes all i could do was completely remove iwork from my computer and try to start over. Or come to the forums to see if there is a work around.

    Hi Jared,
    Without commentary, or other explanation, it's difficult to determine what actions you are taking to produce the results in the video.
    In the first instance, it appears that you have placed the insertion point at the beginning of the line following the header, then pressed and held return. this action pushes that line (and anything below it) down until it crosses the page boundary and jumps to a second page. That's expected behaviour.
    At approximately 0:57, you have deleted the return characters, returning the first and second lines after the header to a position immediately following the header. The insertion point is then moved to the point at the beginning of the header line, and returns are inserted as before. About 1:04, a number of unreadable alert boxes appear. At 1:07, the second line below the heading moves to the second page, followed by the first line, then by the heading itself at about 1:10. Again this is expected behaviour.
    Only after that are there any 'odd' behaviours, and without knowing what actions you are taking to produce those oddities, it's (at least) difficult to say what is causing the results you see.
    Regards,
    Barry

  • Problem with the table that goes on next page

    Hi all,
    In my template there is a table that stores detail information. The table property is set to display in box format meaning only the border and not grid. Also I have used <?if:position() mod 10 =0?><xsl:attribute name="break-before">page</xsl:attribute> to display only 10 rows per page. now if there are say 15 rows for detail then the remaining 5 lines are correctly printed in next page, but the table in first page is not displayed in box format.
    If needed I can provide you with the xml and template.
    Thanks in advance.
    Suresh

    quick work around
    put this table in another table
    give the box format for outer table,none for inner.

  • Header not getting  displayed in the next page in the second table

    Dear Experts ,
    I have a query regarding Header not getting  displayed in the next page in the second table of the main window. .Let me elobrate the issue.
    I have a smartform in which there are  2 tables TABLE 1 and TABLE 2 in the smartform MAIN window. TABLE 1 is for pending PO and TABLE 2 is  for future delivery date P O separated by text in between.
    Now the header for both the tables and the data are getting displayed properly if the total output is in only one page. But If there are more entries in the TABLE 1 the Header for the TABLE 2 is not getting displayed. Header for TABLE 1 yet gets displayed properly in the next page in case of more entries.
    Only issue is that Header for TABLE 2 is not getting displayed in second page but it gets displayed if the entries are less in TABLE 1 and the total output is in one page .
    Please provide a elobrate solution on this problem as the requirement is urgent.
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Sachin Hada

  • Value in a EIT segment(From Update Page)not getting passed to the Next Page

    Hi
    We have a extended CO to populate an EIT field as per the calculation in CO, on a custom button click.
    Calculated value is stored/displayed in the EIT Update Page.
    On clicking Apply, value is not getting passed to the next page, EIT Main Page and further to store the calcualted value in the EIT table.
    Anyone have faced such problem ?
    Thanks
    Arun

    Hi Gaurav
    Facing problems with put/getSessionValue.
    For the first time in a session, we do not have any issues.
    For next transaction in the same session,
    Variable has the same value even if we go for a next EIT transaction, and replaces this value for the field, without pressing the custom button.
    Thanks

  • Scanning multiple pages - pop-up for "Next Page" appears

    I'm running Acrobat Profession version 7 on OS X 10.5.
    My scanner is an Epson Perfection 3170 with an automatic document
    feeder.
    The settings for scanning seem to have been goofed up -- any
    assistance in resetting them would be appreciated.
    Previously, I could drop a handful of pages into the feeder, choose
    FILE => CREATE PDF => FROM SCANNER in Acrobat, set the scanner to ADF
    (automatic document feeder), and it would create a single PDF from the
    whole stack.
    Now, the first page scans, the second page feeds through without
    scanning, and then I get a pop-up called "Acrobat Scan". It says,
    "Next Page" and "Front of Sheet 2" is selected (no other options) --
    and I can choose DONE or NEXT.
    If I choose NEXT, it scans the next page (and then skips another page).
    When I choose DONE, it goes back to Acrobat and the PDF is created.
    (Obviously, every other page in the document is missing.)
    It never did this before, and it's kind of pointless having an
    automated feeder if I have to stop after every page.
    A few points:
    - reinstalling the Epson software did not help
    - I notice that I get a separate pop-up the first time the scanner dialog opens -- this pop-up allows me to choose a scanner (only one is currently installed). Don't remember getting this before the problem started.
    - I have another program that uses the same scanner -- it continues to scan multiple pages without interruption. Ergo, I assume this is an Acrobat issue.
    Any suggestions on fixing this issue would be appreciated.
    Thanks! -c

    Thanks, Brian!
    I've tried turning the scanner off/on, both after the computer is booted and when it's shut off.
    Between the need to select "Next Paqe" all the time, and the fact that the scanner skips every other page, I'm really annoyed!
    Does anyone have any other suggestions on where I might find a solution? I considered contacting Adobe, but their per-incident support seems kind of expensive.
    Thnx! -c

  • Why is it that when I go to Yahoo mail, I can't delete any messages or move to the next page? Stays stuck on page 1..

    Lately, when I log on to my yahoo mail while using firefox, it no longer shows the DELETE option at the top of the email page. So, I cannot delete any emails that I might wish to delete. Also, I cannot get past the first page of my emails. Every time I click on the NEXT PAGE button, it does not move from page 1. This does not happen when I log onto yahoo mail using Internet Explorer. Please advise as to what I can do to correct this. Could it be that I'm not using the latest version of Firefox? I don't know...

    Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
    Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
    To clear cache and cookies do the following:
    #Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
    #Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
    #Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
    #From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
    #Now click the ''Clear now'' button.
