NI-Tclk Error When Committing Session

Hello,
I have three 6556s driving/capturing digital I/O in a PXIe-1065.  It is a straight forward application that has been working for several years.
Recently, I have been getting the error 250033 (NI-TClk Committed a Session and the instrument driver reported an error.)  There is a knowledge base page for such an error:
http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/7AD9D646FEA83270862573C60071DCBC
This KB article targets PCI devices that have RSTI cables manually installed and configured in MAX.  With the for PXIe chassis, this configuration is not appicalbe, yet I still get the error.  It used to happen occasionally but lately it is happening all the time.  My systme is basically unusable right now because of this.
Any ideas?  Could this be a HW issue in the card itself?
Thanks!

TestStand reports a session index of 2 along with the error message.  I did re-seat all of the modules but I haven't swapped them to see if the error follows the module or the slot number.  That's a good idea though.  I'll give it a try.
TClk itself doesn't have a session to close, at least as far as I can tell.  There is no TClk Close VI.  I do properly close the niHSDIO sessions.  I've even tried resetting the modules manually from MAX after the failure shows up in case the closing procedure is somehow interrupted or mishandled.  (It didn't work.)

    Regards,

    bonnietang,
    Use the [ code ] and [ /code ] tags (without the spaces) to format your stack trace. That way, it is easier to follow (at least for me).
    I assume that this line of your code, is causing the error:
    session.invalidate();Correct?
    I see you are using OC4J 10.1.3. Then perhaps the OC4J or the Oracle Application Server - General may be more appropriate for your message. However, since you are also using ADF, then perhaps the JDeveloper and ADF is also appropriate.
    Good Luck,
    Avi.

  • Error when Create Session Bean in JDeveloper

    Hi All,
    I followed the steps in the SRDemo tutorial to create Session bean SRPublicFacade. I used Create Session Bean wizard. Step 1 was ok. Step 2 when it's supposed to show all the POJOs and all methods (from Queries) it hang there, and skipped to Step 3 and so on... As a result I had an empty Session Bean with only class name and no methods in it. I do have correct database connection, and I have another project with similar Session Bean sucessfully. I just don't know what happened to this project or the way I created session bean this time. Any conflict when create Session Bean to the same database or something(?) Anyone has any idea please let me know.
    Thank you very much,
    John

    Frank,
    Yes, I compiled the project before building the session facade. I used JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0
    The thing is I once created successfully the session facade in another project, like SRdemo. Now I would like to repeat that in another project say SRdemo2, then it went wrong. It skipped step 2 in the wizard and look like it cannot detect the tables and named queries.
    Thanks,
    John

  • Page 404 Error when passing Session values through URL

    The current application I'm working on is a 'Targeted Email Communications' application. Bascially, employees at the school at which I'm employed can go in and select services to recieve outage notification emails on.
    The problem I'm discussing in this post has to do with our so called 'Notification Summary Screen.' This screen is basically a report region which displays all outage notifications issued by this application. In the left-most column of this report, I have an edit button that when clicked, redirects the user to the 'Create / Update / Send Screen' with the primary key values passed through the URL. When this happens, all other page items query their values based on the NOTIF_ID passed in through the URL. All of this works fine.
    The problem is, on the Notification Summary Screen, I also have a button labeled 'Create a new notification.' This button redirects the user to the same page as before, except now all of the values are NULL because this outage notification has not yet been created. The problem is, when I try and do this - I get a page 404 not found error. I'm pretty sure it's because my application is getting confused because earlier all of the values were passed in through a URL. For the 'Create New' button, I clear the page cache for this page - and it still does nothing. I am at a loss for what to do here because I keep getting the error.
    Here's the code for the URL button found in the report query in the 'Notification Summary Screen' :
    ('<a href='
              || 'f?p=&APP_ID.:2:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.::'
              || 'P2_NOTIF_ID,P2_NOTIF_SEQ,P2_INFO_TYPE:'
              || a.notif_id ||','|| b.notif_seq || ',' || 'Update'
              || '>'
              || '<img src="#APP_IMAGES#EditButton.gif" />'
              || '</a>') as "edit",** NOTE, I took out the double quotes after href and before the closing right karat brackets because for some reason the code in the URL wouldn't display...weird.... **
    The NOTIF_ID value is the primary key identifier for each outage notification. Additionally, the NOTIF_SEQ value is the sequence number for each (because each notification could have multiple updates). The INFO_TYPE value just references whether this is 'Initial', 'Updated', or 'Closing' information.
    Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Eric

    Hey you guys,
    Thanks for your responses. I actually just started working for this academic institution, and have to finish a probationary period before I have access to their VPN (5 Months). Therefore, I cannot access my workspace, nor will they allow me to export my application because it's considered their intellectual property. I believe it may be the &DEBUG portion of it.
    Though I cannot state the exact URL the error states, I can tell you that if I go into application builder to the page in question and try and run it before the page that links to it, I get the error. However, when I use the link everything works fine. When I use the 'Create New' button to link to the page with no values passed, I get the error again. I work again on Monday and will have more information then.
    Thanks again!

  • No columns in table error when committing via CachedRowSetDataProvider

    Okay, another issue that's had me scratching what's left of my hair over the past couple of days.
    I've got a CachedRowSetDataProvider tied to a CachedRowSetXImpl. This rowset pulls all data back from a table (command = select all FIRST_NAME, LAST_NAME from t_person). I want to insert/append a new row into that table. I'm doing something like the following:
    RowKey rk = t_rolesDataProvider.appendRow();
    t_rolesDataProvider.setCursorRow(rk);
    t_rolesDataProvider.setValue("FIRST_NAME", fName);
    t_rolesDataProvider.setValue("LAST_NAME", lName);
    t_rolesDataProvider.commitChanges();
    When it gets to the .commitChanges() line, I get the following error:
    java.sql.SQLException: No columns in table: t_person
    I've seen this reported a couple other times but haven't been able to find anything that helps me with my issue (even though what I'm doing seems much simpler than the other reports I've seen).
    I've also reviewed several of the blogs regarding how you're supposed to be able to do this (insertableColumns and all that) but if there are any other resources, I'd appreciate them as well.
    Here's the kicker, it works fine when I'm pointing to a MySQL database but when I switch over to an Oracle database, I start getting these errors.
    It only seems to be an issue when I go to insert, update or delete data. I can display data from these same tables just fine with either driver/database.
    Please help!
    Thanks,
    TJ

    I am also having this error inserting into mySQL table. I am updating a view.. But the view is of the base table, so it should be updatable. When I debug this, I see that the "FieldKeys" is fully populated, and the I see nothing irregular inside the DataProvider.

    The most possible reason is if your site collection is reached the maximum site quota limit,then there is chance to get the run time error while creating a new group.
    In this case,you will get the error while creating/updating the group or while adding the new user/uploading any content.
    Also Ensure the group name is not having any special/unsupported characters.
    Feel free to share the error screenshot/entry in the ULS logs.

  • Transactional error when using JMS from stateless session bean

    I get a transaction exception when committing a bean method responsible for sending to a JMS topic. This happens only occasionally when two separate threads invoke this method "at the same time".
    The scenario:
    Two separate threads running two different instances of a stateless session bean (slsb A). This ejb (slsb A) has an injected slsb B which is communicating with the the topic.
    Both instances of slsb A are utilising the same instance of slsb B.
    The CMT transactions for the two threads start in slsb A from methods with transaction attribute "RequiresNew". All nested methods are to other slsbs and have the transaction attribute "Required". The method in slsb B which sends the message is closing both the session and the connection to the topic.
    I'm running Glassfish version 9.1_02 (build b04-fcs) and JMS implementation OpenMQ version 4.1.

              something like this in WLS 6.0. I believe it is fixed in WLS 6.1

  • Still having a problem with Firefox going to "restart a session" even after re-installing Firefox. Keeps giving me "script error" when closing down. How do I fix this?

    As stated previously...I have removed and re-installed Firefox, but am still getting "script error" when shutting it down and going to "restore session" when opening. Please advise what to do about this problem. Thank you.

    Firefox 21 and Firefox 22 running on Windows 7 have been reported to take a long time to "wake up" from sleep. I realize hibernation is different than sleep, but... this is the closest match for your description.
    Some users have reported that this problem is resolved in Firefox 23 (currently in beta). Others have had inconsistent luck with minimizing Firefox before letting Windows sleep and other measures.
    Please check out this (very long) thread for more information: [https://support.mozilla.org/questions/961898 browser freezes after resuming from sleep]
    Or jump to the part about Firefox 23: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/961898?page=3#answer-457321
    The fact that this just started recently suggests perhaps it is related to another program or update, but I don't think anyone has confirmed the exact interaction that causes the problem.

    I had tried using -Xms / -Xmx options (upto 1 GB).
    The trace of exception gets delayed (from being displayed on the console) as the memory size is increased; but after sometime it starts getting displayed on the console.
    Even though this exception is displayed on the console, the Timer Bean continues to execute upto sometime before it finally crashes!
    If anyone has encountered such problem; would appreciate if you could share the solution.
    Regards, Vidyadhar

    Hi guys, I have the same problem. I have an application EAR file with two modules (EJB and WAR starting in this order). The application can schedule a process via EJB timer. In this case restarting the server I receive the error above. If I change the modules start order --> WAR - EJB the server start correctly, but the application scheduler fails (the persistency is not working) with this error:

  • Error when displaying Active Sessions - 500 Internal server error

    Hi all,
    recently I am getting errors when I want to look up the logged on users in our MII 12.0.2 system. The error displayed is
    500 - Internal server error
    Application error occurred during request processing
    Details:   java.util.ConcurrentModificationException: null
    Exception id: [0002556FD9C4003400000076000EA16A00045CFF57783831]
    Netweaver Log only displays the same error.
    Has anyone experienced this kind of error before? All other MII portal items work as usual, it is only "Active sessions" that brings up this error, I would say, 80% of the time I call it.
    This error occurs after a GoLive with more users and more traffic on the machine. Could it be some kind of memory problem? Reboot of the system does not help.
    Michael

    Perhaps the jsp page is not handling something properly - a special character in name or email perhaps?
    Have you tried something like:
    "/XMII/Illuminator?Service=Admin&Mode=SessionList"
    or
    "/XMII/Illuminator?Service=Admin&Mode=SessionList&Content-Type=text/xml"
    These URL's should produce the desired dataset results - hopefully without the internal server error.
    Regards,
    Jeremy

  • Why I get "Error in getting session data" error when running report?

    Hello,
    I have reporting services on one server, and SharePoint 2010 on other server. When I view report from browser, I got blank page. From Report Server Log file, I got below error:
    v VERBOSE: writting session cookie: ekkrjbubp00t5wzc3rzspvzb
    v VERBOSE: Saved report snapshot to session in a background thread <for same session id>
    e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ReportServerStorageException: , An error occurred within the report server database.  This may be due to a connection failure, timeout or low disk condition within the database.;
    e ERROR: Error in getting session data: Expired Session: ekkrjbubp00t5wzc3rzspvzb
    e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ExecutionNotFoundException: , Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ExecutionNotFoundException: The report execution ekkrjbubp00t5wzc3rzspvzb has expired or cannot be found
    Are there anyone getting the same issue as mine? I did not see any solutions for this issue when I searched.
    Thanks,
    Megan

    There are a number of timeouts in SSRS; session timeout, report execution timeouts, http request timeouts.  A session timeout in SSRS is not the same as a session timeout in ASP.NET.  Below are some articles that can help you understand the timeouts
    and hopefully lead you down the path of discovery.
    This articles is a good article as it discusses the session timeout and the keep alive that is sent from the report viewer.
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/jgalla/archive/2006/10/11/session-timeout-during-execution.aspx
    This article is good as well in describing some of the timeouts.

  • Sun Ray error when connecting to Oracle VDI - No Kiosk Sessions Available

    When the Sun Ray DTUs go to connect to the Oracle VDI cluster at times they will throw the error "Error starting Kiosk session: No Kiosk accounts configured." We have tried going through the steps to confirm that the Kiosk sessions are configured on the two secondary hosts but the problem persists. When the Sun Ray DTUs do connect they will work for a while and then when left idle for a period of time will loose their connection and be unable to restart the connection with the error mentioned. The Screen Blanking option on the Sun Ray DTUs is set to "0" to prevent them from going into power-save mode but this makes no difference. The Sun Ray DTUs are all updated with the latest GUI firmware and there are no custom options set in the Sun Ray Session Servers.
    The thing that bothers me the most is I have not seen any error messages in the logs. I will post up the logs as links in a follow-up post.
    Has anyone had any similar issues while connecting with a Sun Ray DTU?
    Currently we are running Oracle VDI 3.2.1 on the cluster.
    Here are the commands we used to reset the Sun Ray Kiosk accounts:
    # /opt/SUNWkio/bin/kioskstatus -c
    # /opt/SUNWkio/bin/kioskuseradm status
    # /opt/SUNWkio/bin/kioskuseradm delete
    # /opt/SUNWkio/bin/kioskuseradm create -l utku -g utkiosk -i auto -u –c

    I was trying to transfer data from oracle to sql server 2008 on a daily basis.
    I have very hard time connecting to oracle from ssis package on windows server 2008. I am almost dead and cannot find any help. i was able to connect to oracle using import/export 64 bit feature of SQL Server 2008 using Oracle provider for OLEDB. But I am not sure why the same does not work with BIDS?
    Here's the environment info:
    1. Oracle Client 10g
    2. SQL Server 2008
    3. Windows Server 2008
    Appreciate your help. Please save me.

    I think that's my classpath but i don't know how to change it so that the properties
    which are in the oracle.ifs11.settings.oracle.ifs.server will be known.
    Can you help me?
    Thanks for replying me.
    Regards.

    You need IfsDefault.properties in your CLASSPATH, but you also need LOTS of other things in your CLASSPATH as well.
    Here is my classpath, you will need to modify it to suit your environment.
    Also, have a look for the IFSENV.BAT file if you are running Windows. It may help you. There are other answers to your question in this dicsussion forum.
