No 10% bonus or points when trading in games

Hi, I signed up for GCU this past weekend, and did my first video game trade-in today (3 games total for $91.50). Unfortunately, it seems that I did not receive my 10% bonus, nor will I be receiving the member points associated with trade-ins. The associate processing my trade-in was not aware of the GCU bonus for trade-ins, and could not figure out how to link the transaction to my account. Is there any way this can be adjusted at this point? It's a bit disappointing that my first GCU-related transaction was already met with issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello nbjg24,
Welcome to Gamers Club Unlocked!  We're pleased to have you on board, and I know you'll enjoy picking up your most anticipated new games with a great 20% discount every time.  I am sorry to hear your first trade-in experience didn't go as planned, but I'll be able to assist you with that today.
What should happen in the trade-in process is that after the games are entered into the transaction the associate helping you should then ask for your phone number so he or she can manually search for your My Best Buy account.  Any accounts associated with the information you provide will pull up, and the associate should then select the correct account.  Selecting it will add it to the transaction to ensure you get the trade-in points, and will also automatically apply the Unlocked 10% bonus to the value of the trade for Unlocked members.
Once a trade is completed, the offered value for the games is final, so I'm afraid the store wouldn't be able to offer additional funds any longer.  I will send you a private message, though, to gather additional information from you.  To check your messages, while logged into the forum click on the envelope in the upper right page corner.
Thanks,

  • Error with My Best Buy Points when trading in?

I have Gamer Club Unlocked and have recently traded Destiny for $44 including the GCU 10% bonus. However, when I look at my Best Buy Points history, it shows that the game was traded in for only $40, and that I received 80 points for the transaction.
Did I get screwed out of 8 points, or do the double points only apply to the base value of the game?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hey again downthesun01,
Good question! The My Best Buy points awarded for any given trade-in are determined by the base value of the traded games, before any applicable promotions or Gamers' Club Unlocked benefits are added. The trade-in bonus credit GCU members receive is also calculated independently from any other applicable trade-in offer. For example, here's how things would break down if a GCU member were to trade in a game worth $50 during a 50% bonus trade-in credit promotion:
    Base Trade-In Value = $50.00
    My Best Buy Points Awarded = $50.00 x 2 = 100 Points
    10% GCU Trade-In Credit Bonus = $50.00 x .10 = $5.00
    50% Trade-In Credit Bonus Offer = $50.00 x .50 = $25.00
    Total Trade-in Credit Received = $50.00 + $5.00 + $25.00 = $80.00
    I hope his helps.

  • How to fix java exclamation point when loading a game

hi so i just got my macbook out of repair because of my hardrive failiong and they installed a new one and i had no back up of my operating system so they put it in for me. My software is on 10.6.8 and i have java 1.6.0_51-b11-457. Know when i try to run a java requird website or game it loads and then stops and then comes up with java cup but with a red exclimation point. Can anyone help me with this please?

So I determined that the error only happens after doing a ppr update on a menu bar in the page template that navigation_renderer.jspx uses.
Basically a menu item is being periodically updated using af:poll, and then I do a partial update on the menu bar in a managed bean to show the updated menu item. However this is causing the above error.
Anyone know why this would happen? Or is there another way I should be updating the menu bar.
Solved! Looks like the problem was with a task flow in the page template.

Greetings tjones261, and welcome to the Best Buy forum,
The promotion in-question is a great way to earn some extra points, especially if you are in the market for a new smartphone.  We have had similar My Best Buy promotions in the past that offered bonus certificates or points with the purchase of an eligible smartphone.  Let me see what I can do to help answer any questions you may have.
    1.  A smartphone would basically be classified as any mobile phone that has an advanced operating system.  They would have a touchscreen, ability to run apps, email, GPS, etc.  For example, an iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S6 would be considered a smartphone.  You can look over the smartphones that are eligible for the current bonus offer here.
    2.  You would only need to enter your My Best Buy account ID number during the BestBuy.com checkout process if your accounts (My Best Buy and BestBuy.com) are not linked or if you are checking out as a guest.  Otherwise, your My Best Buy account should automatically attach to any orders you place after logging into BestBuy.com.
It can usually take up to 20 days for points to post to a member's My Best Buy account, including bonus points.  With that being said, you may not see the point value for the $25 bonus certificate (1,250 points = $25) post to your account right away if you do purchase an eligible smartphone.  I have provided a few links below that should help answer any other questions you may have; however, please feel free to send me a private message if you have other questions and I will see what I can do further assist.

  • Is there a way to RECORD the mouse as a pointer when recording?

Is there a way to RECORD the mouse as a pointer when recording a voiceover on a slideshow?  I want to use the mouse as a pointer (I know how to do that live), but the recorded show does not show my motions as I voiced.

Oh, I see. I don't have Keynote, I've only recorded my screen for other things, so I don't know about that. Maybe someone else can help.

  • [Q] Can I insert the cue point when recording an FLV via FMS2???

    Hi... :)
I think this can be a simple yes/no question...
Does anybody know if I can insert the cue point when
recording an FLV via FMS2 via AS???
    Thanks... :)
    CyanBlue

According with fms2 documentation, you can define cue points
in an FLV file when you first encode the file, or when you import a
video clip in the Flash authoring tool by using the Video Import
    wizard.
The FMS2 only handles with cue points.... using the
    NetStream.onCuePoint event handler.

  • How to make main menu start at loop point when you link back to it?

I have a main menu with a an intro, after the intro I have put a loop point.
But when I link back to the main menu, it plays the whole intro.
How do I let the main menu start at the loop point when I target a button back to it?

English is not my native language (I used Wikipedia to understand RTFM !!!).
I used to copy&paste some lines from the manuals when a post can be answered directly that way (why to write it again if it's well written there?).
This is my "last upgrade": I uploaded some captured images from the manual to use easier in this kind of frequent questions. I like to show that the information was right there in the manual . . . but I really find the expression RTFM a little hard !

I have two arrays of points, when i plot them there´s an intersection point, but this point doesn´t belong to any arrays. I need to find the both value of this point, X and Y. I attached my problem in a very simple example. Thanks.

Although this doesn't directly answer your question , I've attached a VI that will hopefully give you a start and point you in the right direction. It generates a Boolean array that indicates between which indecies an intersection has taken place. Then, all you need to do is use triganometry to work out exactly what the intersection point is.

  • Where can i found out how much my iPhone 4 is worth when trading in for iPhone5?

One of the apple geniuses mentioned that I could find out how much my iPhone 4 is worth when trading in for iPhone5 at the apple website.
I haven't been able to find any sections in the sitre that remotely offer this information. I'm hoping another genius shows up with an answer here.

Apple does have a recycling program where they will take your old device and give you and apple store gift card, not sure how much, you can check on the apple website below:
    http://www.apple.com/recycling/
i don't know where you're located, but if you want to trade in your iphone 4 at other places like att or radio shack they give a pretty good deal.

  • How do I reveal the cut points when editing Adobe Connect recording?

Since the roll-out of AC 9.1, when I edit the timeline of a recording I see the timeline of the position of my cursor ON TOP OF the timeline point of the cut points, therefore I can't see where I'm about to cut a recoring. How to see the cut points when editing the timeline?
    Thanks,
    --Kevin

    Hi Kevin,
There is a know bug for the black marker overlapping the time-line with a black marker.
But we have a trick to help you do your editing effectively. Follow the steps mentioned below and you will be able to edit your recording with precision:
    1. Pause the recording from where you want to start your editing.
    2. Double Click on the LEFT marker. It will take both the markers to that point on the recording timeline.
    3. Play the recording and pause the recording again at the point till where you want to edit the recording.
    4. Double Click on the RIGHT marker. It will take the right marker to the end point of your to-be-recording.
    5. Cut and Save.
Do let us know if this helps!
    Thanks

  • Where to put break point when debugging the inbound IDOC processing

    Hi, Dear Experts,
If IDOC has error and want to debug, which program or function module  to put break point when debugging the inbound IDOC processing
    Thank you so much!
    Helen

It depends on if you have the custom FM or standard FM...Is it MM invoice or FI invoice? ... You can find out your FM by going to partner profile (WE20) for your sender partner and partner function.. Drill down to your partner and the message type and find the inbound process code.. Double clicking on the process code will help you find the FM...
If you don't have access to WE20, You can also put BP into any of the IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC* FM and see if it is getting triggered (assuming your IDOC is standard FM)...

  • Fuzzy Exclamation Point when I pick a picture

Hi. I just upgraded to a MBP 15 inch from a G5 iMAC running Tiger 10.4.11. I moved my iPHoto library to an external hard drive, then moved that to the MBP. After openning the iPhoto 09 on the MBP, the library seemed nicely intact. when I look at albums, I see my photos. In the left bottom corner of most of the photos is a small exclamation point. when I click on the pictures to do something with them (crop, change image settings, etc.) the photo is present for split second and then I get a fuzzy exclammation point (black) on a fuzzy white circular field which itself is on a black field.
    Why is iPhoto doing this?
Any explanations and thoughts on how to fix this?
    Thanks, Andy

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Try rebuilding the database. Hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose the top three options.
    If that fails:
    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

  • Steps to follow when trading in older iMac

The time has come to switch to a newer model iMac, and I'd like to know what steps I should follow when trading in the old one - I want to use the credit given to buy the new one. This is what I'm planning to do, please let me know if I'm leaving anything out:
Buy time capsule, back up old computer
Disable it, follow instructions from support
    Bring it to genius bar
    But new computer
Use time machine to install content to new computer
    Is it that easy?
    Thanks!

Apple does not offer trade-ins toward new Macs but you may be able to recycle and receive a gift card > Apple Recycling Program
Better to not let go of the old iMac so you can transfer data to the new one first > OS X: How to migrate data from another Mac using Mountain Lion and earlier
If you do not want to recycle >  What to do before selling or giving away your Mac
