No 4g signal inside of my workplace.

I sit next to the window and can see the tower outside but cant get 4g service inside. But if i step outside I get full bars.... Any idea what is up with the service?

-75 dBm is a good signal, but are you sure that is the 4G LTE signal or the CDMA signal? I know the signal number listed in the About phone > status on the Tbolt is the CDMA signal only.
Try this application to get both signal strengths.

  • How to SEE and USE Pulse Counter Output signal INSIDE my VI?????

    Hello.
I am using a 6216 AOM board and I currently need to generate a 50 kHz signal for an external AOM, and this has been no problem.
However, I also need to be able to SEE and USE this signal in my VI
(for example, to be able to view the signal in a graph, and more
importantly, to be able to use the signal as an input for a software
    based Lock-In Amplifier).
    How can I do this?
I've been reading about routing signals and I believe I can do this,
however, the routing does not solve the problem that I need to be able
to see and use the signal inside my software.
    Please help!
    Sincerely
    JSL

    HI JSL!
When you route the signal, you can “see” in an input channel the signal been generating by the output channels being routed, but you need to create the code for the acquisition and this code must have synchronization (start trigger and same sample rate) with the generation code. Then we can use it.
If this is what you need, please let me know so that we can work on generating a little example. Can you give me more details about how is the signal (sample rates, etc.)?
Please let me know in case I misunderstood your problem.

  • 3g signal outside house, no signal inside - old house.

I'm in the Chicago area so obviously have coverage.  However, as soon as I get inside the house the signal is practically non-existant.  It switches between 3G with no bar, and 1x with one bar.  The house is old so there shouldn't be any high-tech insulation blocking the signal.  Anyone have any ideas?

But it could be interference from old wiring, What about others devices and being in your house

  • Signal has gotten progressively worse

I have been with Verizon a little over a year now and from what I can say, the signal inside of my house has gotten worse since last year. When I signed up I had steady 4G LTE signal indoors. Now it's a guessing game with every kind of signal. Every time I go to pull my phone out of my pocket I am more likely to have 1x or 3G or no data and no bars. The signal switches so much that its sometimes hard to use basic data functionality or even send a text message because the phone is switching between data services.
Several times a day I am greeted with no data. There are some days when I have absolutely nothing for a good 10 minutes. By nothing I mean no data and no signal bars. Text messages and phone calls cannot happen in those 10 minutes. I have had people calling me and saying my phone went straight to voice mail or said it was ringing and I didn't pick up. Problem is, I never heard the phone ringing nor did I see the phone change over to the incoming call screen when I had it out on the table. The same goes for sending text messages. The sending icon (green arrow) stays on for a long time and then it's finally sent or it never gets sent because of the phone switching between data services.
The lack of the phone ringing or text messages being sent has cost me money. I run a package store with my family and have to place weekly orders with sales reps and when they say they called and my phone never rang there is a problem. The same goes for texts since some never got sent I couldn't text the order. It's quite a cut throat business in the sense that if I don't have product then the customers will just walk out and go up or down the street and that makes my business look bad and that affects income to pay our bills like my phone bill from Verizon. My apartment is in the same building as the business so even there I have seen the signal become worse.
My phones are 4 DROID RAZRs and they all have troubles with signal. As a result of poor signal the Internet is barely usable and the phones are questionably reliable to make calls and send texts. The battery life is also horrible, I have to charge my phone twice a day because somehow I lose 10% battery life in a half hour even though I sometimes don't use the phone during that span of time. The same goes for the other phones. My younger brother's phone gets so hot to the touch that it slows down significantly and he has to set it down for a good half hour. My parents also have the same problems with heat. Since they have become more relaxed any my brother and I have become more active in the business they use their phones for other things. My dad uses pandora and complains that it cuts out because the phone was switching between data services. My mother watches youtube videos and says they always take forever to load. They also spend lots of time calling their family members and they complain of their phones getting too hot and the batteries dying too quickly. We have wifi but it is only usable within the immediate range of the router (the back office) not where we need it.
We have spent hours on the phone with Verizon only to become more frustrated. We have tried device swaps because of the signal and charging port issues on our phones. We have also gone through several SIM card changes. Sometimes I'll even pick up a phone off contract from best buy to test the signal strength with a newer device. We've done everything from factory data resets to running safe mode. Nothing improves reception. The only sure fire way to improve reception is to not touch the phone and set it down on a table because when it's picked up the signal drops from 4 bars to 1 bar. Even idle it will switch services and we have all had the phone hot sitting in our pockets and having 1x or no data and no bars. It would have been nice to consider getting my family new phones in October of this year but I guess Verizon decided to change their upgrade policy so now I have to wait until March 2014 but I don't think our phones will last that long.
I never had this problem before with Verizon but now it's a part of every day life meanwhile I have to foot the bill. Why has my signal gotten worse? It used to work fine and have excellent reliability now Verizon is becoming like AT&T in my store which flat out does not work because there is no service inside. I don't know what to do in this case because we can barely use our phones. Our usage has gone down across the board especially data since the signal type switches with a mind of its own.

I came here to search for answers to the same problem.
Although I have iTunes on a Mac the symptoms are similar.
Everything video played perfectly in iTunes before the last round(s) of iTunes updates. Now I have problems with jerky playback.
I installed more RAM as the program is now so cumbersome it struggles without it. This helped the sluggishness of iTunes but not the video playback.
They play perfectly in the Quicktime Player program itself, so the problem lies within iTunes and an answer needs to be found.

  • How can I get my iphone to stop losing the signal?

How can I get my iphone to stop losing the signal?

Thanks for the tip.  If only I could find somewhere where I did not lose the signal.
I am based in the United Kingdom. The carrier is Orange.
I lose the signal inside buildings and outside of buildings.  It happens at work and at home.  It happens in Centarl London in the open air and inside.  It happens in small towns.. It happens in the countryside.  It happens in motor cars.  It happens in airports.  It happens when the battery is fully charged, when it is half charged and when it's low on charge.  It happens using the phone, when reading messages and when using the internet.
    Hope this helps.

  • Cell signal degradation

I have experienced significant signal degradation over the course of the last few months. It is to the point where i no longer have a signal inside my home. Many other Verizon subscribers in the area have voiced the same concern. We used to have superb service but now we are all suffering!!! Zip code is 35761. Can someone point me to where i need to file an official complaint/inquiry?

I have an iPhone 5s, as do most others in the community that are experiencing the same degradation. I have had reports from 13 other people that I would assume all connect to the same local tower. There is definitely an issue. I certainly wouldn't deem it an outtage but it is significant enough that many of us are considering switching to another company as we no longer have coverage inside our homes.

  • Bionic lte signal booster

I was wondering is there a signal enhancer or booster that i can use to help push a lte signal from outside to inside. Im in a building where when i step outside i get good lte signal when inside it swicths to 3g. Is there any good device that will help me do this thats kinda cheap? Im in newport news va at the shipyard needing a stronger signal near peir

Congratulations on getting the new bionic!  That is such a great device!  As far as increasing your 4g signal inside, at this time we do not offer any accessories that would help with this.  If you need further support and info with 4g click here for our website.  I hope this helps.  Thanks.

I get no wireless signal inside my home, only outside, so I need a network extender that will work for the Lumia 2520, Specs indicate it uses LTE FDD netork Band 20 (800MHz), Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 7 (2600 MHz).  Does Verizon offer a network extender that will work with the Lumia 2520?

We want to make sure you get service in your home Astromandata! I can check your area to see if you qualify for the network extender. What's your zip code? If it does qualify than you will be able to use it for your Lumia to support your voice services. Find out more information here: http://spr.ly/6585fNlt Is anyone else having this issue?

  • No signal with iphone 6 plus

i have no signal inside the office while other phones have

It has something to do with your carrier. You know if the signal from your carrier doesn't cover the place where you work, then the signal should be weak. If other phones use the services from the same carrier, I think you need to reset your network (tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.)

  • Using Multiplexed CAN signals with XNET

    Hello all,
In one of my applications, I am deploying a CAN database file(.dbc) to RT system, and extracting signals through the cluster of .dbc file. Now once I have the list of all signals inside the database file, there would be some signals which would be multiplexed (If imported in MAX, you can see "Mode" for such signals). Now when I try to create a XNET Signal Output Single Point session out of selected signals, I get the following error:
Error -1074384751 occurred at an unidentified location
    Possible reason(s):
NI-XNET:  (Hex 0xBFF63091) For Signal Output sessions, the multiplexer signals used in the session must be specified explicitly in the signal list.
Can anyone help me on how I can overcome this error? I am able to successfully create a session out of a non-multiplexed signal and write it to can bus, but the above problem I am facing is particularly for multiplexed signals.

  • Enhancement Request: Re-enable 4G if I have a Wi-Fi signal

Now, you may say that this is totally counter-intuitive, as if you have a Wi-Fi signal, what do you need 4G for?  But (and please correct me if I'm wrong) 4G is not just for data, but also for voice.
*If* that is true, if you are connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot, hopefully not all of the battery life will be sucked out of your phone through data-centric actions that your phone does, as it should be delegated to Wi-Fi.  At least that has been my experience.
Then you could turn on 4G because that would increase the chances (I think) of my phone calls actually staying connected while I talk in my apartment building in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
If this makes absolutely no sense, just tell me so.  Otherwise, let me know if you think it would make sense as an enhancement request for the Galaxy Nexus for some future update.
    Thanks

The theory behind WiFi and Verizon network, is that if you have WiFi turned on, all data will be routed through it, instead of Verizon's Network. It has to work that way to give people a chance to not use their data allowance while in a WiFi area. WiFi is also a more stable network for data, since you mostly have a better signal inside a structure than the 3g/4g network outside the structure.
I use WiFi at home most of the time, even though I have an unlimited data plan (yes, my data plan is grandfathered). While I have a decent signal outside my home, the interference inside my home, causes my data signal to degrade almost to a point of no signal in parts of my house. My Droid X also was affected by this, so I use WiFi for data inside my house.
Since the voice portion of the phone uses the CDMA network, I have no problems with getting phone calls with WiFi enabled.

  • Value Signalling Event Case

    Hi Guys,
I am trying to trigger an event using "Value Signalling" and i hit a little bit of snag.
I am reading logic inputs continuously and i wanted to trigger an event if there is a change on logic signals.
What i did is i read the logic signals initially so to get the default state and re-read again the logic signals inside the timed loop in the event case waiting for the signals to change.
However, the event keep triggering even there is no change in signal.
    Any advice?
    Regards
    Ray

Of course you did not show any actual code (just an image) so we can only guess the overall program architecture and what's in the other cases and events.
Still, you might be over-thinking all this. Since the loop is already spinning it seems overkill to trigger things using signaling events. All you probably need is a small case structure that executes additional code whenever things change. Events are primarily used to handle user interaction from the front panel. You just need to branch depending on the "changed/not_changed" case, which is trivial.

  • Signal issue

I have an iPhone 5s. Used to have good signal inside my room. Lately, I have noticed that I barely getting signal, only getting 1 or 2 dots/bars but everytime I hook it up to a charger, the signal gets better. What could be the problem here?

    Yes - the Power button.
Reset (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if the issue is resolved.

  • Verizon data is ripping me off....

So I made the switch from TMobile to Verizon because I got tired of waiting for Tmobile to get the Iphone.  Now in order to do this I paid a $200.00 cancellation fee. However, since I had an unlimited data with Tmobile and they had a data tracker, I was able to gauge my data usage for the last year and a half. So when I switched, I knew exactly what my average data usage was.
-On TMobile I averaged 1.5 to 1.8 GB and that was daily streaming and downloading Spotify music, watching YouTube videos, watching videos, email,      heavy app usage, hotspot.
-So I figured since I had an Iphone before and I knew that I would be on WIFI most of time and would be careful not to use my phone for videos and minimal streaming, I would probably use half the data.  So on Verizon's network I didn't really watch videos or stream music and uploaded music while on WIFI so I would not have to stream.
-On Mondays and Wednesdays I'm at school or home with WIFI continuously at home and with WIFI in all areas of my school.
-On Thursdays and Fridays I'm at work with barely any signal inside the building and since I'm at my internship and why would I be  downloading stuff if I'm in training.
-Sure enough, I was surprised that I was messaged on 10/11 that I was at 90% of my data cap, but I figured this might be viable and it might be due to my heavy usage on the first few days of having the Iphone.
-I did some research online and saw some article about verizon users being charged with WIFI charges if their carrier settings weren't set to 13.1.  I double checked my settings and they were correct.  So it was still kind of fishy since I was on WIFI half the time.
-On 10/11 I checked my data usage and I was at approximately at .91   So I went ahead and updated my plan to the 2GB plan which was retroacted to my start date.  Too my surprise I got a message saying I was at 75% of my data on 10/15.  THAT'S 4 DAYS!!! IN 4 DAYS I WENT FROM .91 TO 1.57 GB.
    WHATTTT??
-I called and they weren't much help.  They said I could check my usage online so I did and here are a couple of immediate things that caught my eye.  They were charging me for downloading stuff at 4:16 a.m. while my phone was on WIFI and between the hours of 10:00 and 10:30 while my phone is on WIFI in class.
    - I went into the store and the guy said it might be the carrier settings and without checking them, he reset my network settings anyways. I told him I had checked that online and was pretty sure the settings were correct.
-Since then I talked to some people on the phone and they said I would have to wait til my next bill and then they will credit me if I go over my plan and see if the problem has been resolved, however, I will have to follow up.... like my time is not worth anything.
-So today I checked my usage and there were still charges against my data plan this morning when I was sleeping at 1:16 a.m, 3:42 a.m., 5:00 a.m, 7:02 a.m.,
-What is going on... Verizon, and now I'm checking and I know I was on WIFI at 9:59 a.m. going into class late, because itis right after I got off the phone with your customer service rep and there is heavy usage there.
How can I continuosly use my phone on TMobile network and barely get to 1.5 to 1.8 GB monthly, and with your phone go from .91 to 1.57GB in 4 days.  that would equate to 4.62 GB a month when I am at least on WIFI half the time and try not to use your network for half the things I used TMobile for. How do you figure????
So I feel like I am being ripped off.
Switching wasn't cheap. I paid $200.00 to switch, $35 activation, bought the 64GB Iphone for $399, bought Apple Care for $99, and also subscribed to your insurance and a significantly more expensive cost of plan vs. TMobile only to find out you are continuously charging me for data that I am not using.  And you cannot attribute it to the glitch, specifically because you guys reset my phone yesterday and this morning I was still charged while I was on WIFI.
I did not sign up so I would have to track my line item usage every day to dispute with you every single day.  I did not pay more than $700.00 to be ripped off.  And your CSR reps are saying that I can't dispute it until I actually get the bill.
Listen, I have a very busy schedule this quarter at school.  You are trying to take advantage by charging for phantom data usage.  I would like for you to let me out of my contract without penalty for breaching your terms and inconsistently charging or you just don't charge me for data for the final two years of my contract.  If you can't guarantee that you will charge me accurately, then you shouldn't be charging me for it.  I'm looking into small claims court already, posting online  the social networks: Facebook, linkedin, Twitter, etc where I am connected to lots of people. So if you would like me to not do that the resolution is to let me out of my contract. I just paid 200.00 to be let out of one, and i refuse to pay for another one when clearly it is not because of a lack of loyalty but a lack of Verizon unlawful charges.
LIke I said, Here is a compromise I can think of that would work for me and is fair:
-I would settle for even paying for the 1GB plan and not be charged for the overages for the next 2 years.(If you can't accurately track my data and are inaccurately charging me for more than I am using this is fair.)
    Other options:
-No charge for letting me out of contract.
-I can return the Iphone to you and you refund what I've paid for the first month and the prorated month,  activation fee.(This is about 140.00 total), or you can pay me 200.00 that I paid to cancel my TMObile account.   I think the 140.00 would be a better deal for  you and I will eat the 60.00 for my stupidity in switching...no restocking fee.  You can also refund the price of apple care.
-You can keep me on contract and not charge me for data for the next 2 years.
-You can play the "WE value you as a customer but we can't do anything except keep overcharging you incorrectly and make it difficult for you so yo can try to give up game", see me in small claims court, and see me post on social networks continuosly over the next 2 years until you let me out of contract.
I won't be surprised if the response is the last one, because Verizon is so used to making there customers whole....sarcasm there.
    Take your pick.
