No business partner found for ERP partner "Vendor" (role:LF)

Dear Experts,
When we create Inbound Delivery in ERP, it is getting distributed.
But the IBD is not created in EWM.
We checked in SLG1 and the deliveries were failed in the queue.
The error message says "No business partner found for ERP partner EWM_TEST (role:LF)".
We have maintained Business partner  and IT type = CRM004 in Identification Tab.
Still, no idea how we can solve this issue.
Please suggest with your valuable inputs.
Thanks,
Shetty

  • No POs found when entering with vendor role/contact person for vendor

    Dear colleagues,
I wanted to post either a GR or an invoice as a vendor, that is, entering the system as the contact person of the vendor, with the vendor role, and searching for the POs created for me as vendor, then selecting one of them.
However, when searching for POs to post the documents with reference to POs, the report says there are no POs available, when in fact I have created several POs for that vendor in the systems.
What might I be missing? What are the conditions, rules, configuration steps needed so that the vendor can see the POs created for him and post subsequent documents with the role SAP_BBP_STAL_VENDOR and entering the system as a contact person for that vendor?
Will award points for helpful answers. Thanks in advance
    David

    Hi David,
This scenario which you require for receiving P.Os,sending P.O response, posting confirmation and invoice is called
    SUS (Supplier self service) scenario.
You have to configure this scenario to avail all these services and the vendor should be SUS vendor. A mere vendor role will not allow the vendor to perform all these functions.
XI (Exchange infrastructure) is required in configuring the SUS scenario.
    Hope this resolves your query.

  • How to change some partner data for defined partner role?

    Hello SDN!
I need to set another ID and address for partner both in header and positions. Data comes from CRM ISA. I'm using extended BADIs with methods IF_EX_CRM_ISA_BASKET_HEADCHANGEHEAD_BEFORE_ORDER and IF_EX_CRM_ISA_BASKET_ITEMSCHANGEITEMS_BEFORE_ORDER for header and positions. These methods have tables CT_PARTNER and CT_INPUT_FIELDS. CT_PARTNER already has record needed for me (with role '000000002' and given REF_GUID). I need to change PARTNER_NO field with our ID for this record. But if I do this, focuses in ShipTos comboboxes in order.jsp become reseted after any refresh/actualisation of page. Record in CT_INPUT_FIELDS also created and filled properly.
How I can properly change PARTNER_NO field?
    Regards, Lev

    Hi Lev,
    Local variables maybe?
Have a look at the CRM_PARTNER_OB function group for reading. storing and deleting the partner data.

    Patrick.

  • Business Critical- Table for Wokbook saved in Roles Node Level

    Hi Gurus,
We have upgraded to Nw2004s from 3.0B. One of our Role which was having several nodes and many workbooks were saved on those nodes got corrupted. As a result we dont see the node structure for that Role. Users are going to face problems to find out these workbooks as the structure is missing.
Basically we could find out the Nodes descriptions from AGR_HIERT and could find query list(RSRWBINDEX) and user names and the role name from the tables AGR_HIER and AGR_USER.
Now we have to find out which are the  workbooks saved in which Node Level for this particular Role.
Can anyone please tell us the table names or tables which is linked internally and we could identify from the link that which workbook is saved in which Node Level.
    This is Business Critical issue.
    Thanks in advance.
    regards,
    Akash

    Hi Rohit,
    Thanks for your reply!
The report requirement and design idea was to initially display L04 and L05 of the PC-hierarchy as this level gives a good overview of the overall costs.
We have also discussed more detailed reports where L06 and L07 are used.
The roles will be defined on the profit center hierarhcy. As of now some users should have full access, some users should have access based on node level L05 and some users based on L07. I dont have the full list of users though.
Obviously, based on your input (that the values never remain constant) I have to give the design a bit more thought as I think it will be confusing when the node levels are shifted depending on access.
But to simplify, if the access only is based on two scenarios:
    1) root node (full access L00)
    2) nodes on level 4 of the hierarhcy (L04)
and the report should look like
    L04, L05, Amount
How can I use variables to avoid the shifting?

  • Loading Multiple Partner Fuctions for a vendor using LSMW

    Hi Everyone,
I need to upload multiple partner functions for vendors. I am using LSMW recording for transcation XK02.
The LSMW runs fine but instead of adding a new line for each partner function for a specific vendor it keeps overwritting the previous one. As a end result I get only the last partner function in vendor.
Any help in resolving this is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Zor

you can use below LSMW batch input method and pass the tcode XD02.. for partner functions....
    TCODE                        Transaction Code
                        Rule :   Constant
                        Code:    BKN00-TCODE = 'XD02'.
    Object               0050   Customer master
    Method               0002   Extended PSM
    Program Name         RFBIDEK0
    Program Type         B   Batch Input

  • Role of Partner Function in One Time Vendors..

    Hi All,
Can any one let me know the significance of the Partner function in a vendor. Should we have to define the partner function for One Time Vendor in R/3 system, which will be replicated in SRM??
    Thanks in Advance.
    BR,
    Mahesh. J

Hi Ravinagh, many thanks for the information.
I've tested your proposed solution but unfortunately can't get it to work.
I've activated the delivered scenario 0003 (RECIPIENT BANK ORIENTED) & created a general bank chain as follows via transaction FIBB:
In the Bank Chains screen, BankChn ID = 00001, No. = 1, Typ = 2, Corr. ctry, Corr.Bank key & Bank acct all completed with intermediary bank details.
In the Assignment screen, Crcy = USD, Sender Ctry = GB, Sender Bank Key - 200000, Recipient Ctry = KY, Recipient Bank key = blank, PmntMthSu = blank, BankChn ID = 00001.
I then created a OTV invoice with bank details of Bank Country = KY (& valid bank key & account).
The payment program selects the invoice to be paid using currency USD, house bank which uses bank key 200000 and uses the bank details as entered in the OTV.  It pays the invoice but no mention is made in the log of intermediary banks, and when I check table REGUH there are no entries in the intermediary bank fields for the payment proposal.
I'd be grateful for any further suggestions!

    Hi Prateek,

We are currently working on Pi 7.1 , while checking SXMb_adm we are getting an error

We also tested with Sproxy , where we are getting an error " An error occurred when determining the business system (NO_BUSINESS_SYSTEM)"

  • Business Process Flow for old records

A customer has asked us to decommission the Business Process Flow for a particular security role.
I have done this and all is well for new records.
Unfortunately the Process Bar still appears for old Leads.  I think I can understand the behaviour: if you change the process, the old records will still show process bar that existed at the time they were created.  This includes removing it presumably.
My question is, can I remove the legacy instances of the process bar either through the interface or by code?

Update: I created a command line to update the stageid and processid to NULL.
These fields are now clear, however when I open an affected record the form pops up an error message:

  • Can I use one Business Partner repository for Vendor and Customer?

Can I use one Business Partner repository for Vendor and Customer? or do we have to use Vendor and Customer Repository separately. How can we do that? What are the pros and cons? can any one provide some examples:

    Hi Deepak
The key purpose of SAP "enabling" the facility of multiple main tables in a repository is to primarily "manage" those master data objects that are related to each other. Typical examples will be a) Customer - Material, b) Supplier - Material, etc.
While, it is pretty easy to add multiple main tables in a repository, it is also important to understand the purpose of doing so based on the business requirements.
Besides, you got to be aware that in case you are "fixing" any issues with one main table (master data object) for which you have to unload the repository, the users will not be able to use the repository that has a main table defined for other master data object. Hence, there are pros and cons of using this capability of multiple main tables.
So, it is really important to understand the "W's" - What, Why, When, Where, Who of Data modeling before actually working on the "H" - How to in the SAP MDM tool.
    Hope this helps.

  • Classic Scenario PO has multiple OA Partner Functions for Vendor

    Hi,
I have a 'design' issue. My R/3 Vendor has many OA Partner Functions for the different Branches they have and the PO needs to be Faxed to the OA Partner Function number, but the PO needs to be created against the VN Partner Function.
So, how do i do this in SRM? I was going to have a seperate Catalog link for each OA Partner function, but this is not creating the R/3 PO with VN Partner Function of the 'core' Vendor number.
Does anyone have any advice for this?
