No change in the speed of replication, After setting the PARALLELISM to 5

Hello all,
In order to increase the performance of apply process (which again invokes a DML_Handler), I changed
the PARALLELISM parameter from 1 to 5, accordingly I incremented the values of PROCESSES and
PARALLEL_MAX_SERVERS parameters.
But, Still I didn't find any improvement in the performance.
Any extra initialization/configuration is required for this..?
Please help me by posting your suggestions.

Several things could be impacting your performance.
1) Increase the shared_pool_size init.ora parameter to control the size of the buffer queue. The size of the buffer queue is 10% of the specified shared_pool_size. If more memory is required, then the queue spills over to disk. You can tell if you have spillover by checking the spill over table which is named AQ${streams_queue_name}_P. Spillover to disk will slow down the overall throughput of streams performance. At a minimum, the shared_pool_size should be 100Mb.
2) Determine the degree of effective parallelism using the query in the documentation chapter on Monitoring a Streams Apply Process. Parallelism is only useful if you have multiple independent transactions.
3) Make sure that the queue is being purged by specifies a non-zero number of AQ_TM_PROCESSES in the init.ora file

If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:

Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:

Yes it will, just sign out, then sign back in with the correct address.
Settings>iCloud>Sign Out.

Hi, I have istalled the latest version of iTunes6.0.4.2.
Now after setting the iTunes preferences i clicked OK, Then i got an error message saying ....
"An error occured while updating the default platyer for audio file types. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation"
Can somebody please help me, how can i get rid of this error message.

Actually we will distribute this to around 500 employees in our company. If this message pops-up while they using iTunes it won't be nice, all of them will defenitely complaits about this problem.

repeat while the ticks < t

1. Time Capsules are the easiest device to setup for Time Machine.
2. Sorry this is unclear. There are a huge number of routers available that have far superior controls than apple routers.. some support Time Machine.. most don't. They negate your question 1. in being difficult to setup. And alot of 3rd party devices that claim Time Machine compatibility are unreliable.
3. Encryption is irrelevant.
