No GIFy make me angry!

Question

My report printing engine won't print GIF. I am totally stuck on this. Is there some wierd thing with drawing/printing GIFs in java? I'm using java 1.4, and I can print PNG and JPEG just fine, but the GIF doesn't even show up.

I changed it so that it copies the image to a BufferedImage with the argb type, and that worked. Is this what you meant by forcing rgb?
