No interface objects found in interface determination

Hi Experts,
i am configuring the  multiple idoc to flat file.
for this, i am not using the bpm.
            i refer the following blog.
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/4443. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
According to this blog, we can make the scenario as file to file. xi will pick the idoc-xml file.
for this, could you please let me know the source data type?
i exported standard idoc and made occurances as unbounded and import to name space.
for the imported external defination, i creared the message interface as outbound and used as sender interface.
i made the mapping between external deficnation to flat file structure.
my IR part is ok.
i have problem with ID.
when i configure the interface determination, i found it as no interface objects found.

Hi,
Normally we dont require to create DT , MT MI incase we are using IDOC.
But in your case you imported the idoc and exported it to ur desktop and changed the Occurance of that IDOC.
Then again you imported that as External Def.
This case you need to create the MI for this IDOC, why because we dont have the option to select the External def directly with out creating the MI at the time of creation of Interface mapping.
But in case of IDOC means we have the provision to select the IDOC derectly at the time of Interface mappimg

  • Non BPM process - no mapping object found in interface determination

I'm working on a non BPM synchronous process of kind HTTP=>XI=>RFC
I completed my design and onto config now. I created receiver determination for HTTP (no sender agreement) and receiver determination for RFC. In my interface determination I cannot find mapping objects.
I included in HTTP service, the request, sync and response message and RFC shows up naturally with RFC objects.
Any ideas. I've been struggling with this for over a day now.
    Thanks.

    Hi Parimala -
Just to clarify, for this scenario, here's what you need:
    <b>Design</b>
    1. One Message Interface (outbound/synchronous) corresponding to your HTTP request/response.  You don't need a Message Interface nor Message Type for your inbound/synchronous RFC.
    2. Request Mapping corresponding to request
    - HTTP request Message Type to imported RFC (request)
    3. Response Mapping corresponding to response
    - RFC.response to some Message Type for the response
    4. Interface Mapping
    - interfaces: your outbound/sync Message Interface corresponding to HTTP request to imported RFC
    - at bottom request tab, select your Request mapping (#2 above)
    - at bottom response tab, select your Response mapping (#3 above)
    <b>Config</b>
    When you say the following:
    >>><i>I completed my design and onto config now. I created receiver determination for HTTP (no sender agreement) and receiver determination for RFC.</i>
Don't know if that's a typo, but there should only be one receiver determination based on your sending system/service, sending interface (HTTP one), and interface namespace.
Confirm the above steps and see if that helps.

  • "No Objects found" in Interface Mapping

    Hi,
I am working on a simple BPM synchronous scenario as follows
    File>XI>RFC (request)
    RFC (Response)>XI>File
I have done almost everything fine, but while configuring the Receiver determination, I am able to choose the Inbound interfcae, but when I try to select the "Interface Mapping" for the same inbound interface,
    it says "No Objects found".
Can anybody help me out in this regard?
I would very much appreciate your help in this regard.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Shravan,
I have resolved the issue. In fact there is no mistake done in Repository. In Configuration, I haven't selected the appropriate service, because of this, I wasn't able to see the objects.

  • Message Interface not found during Receiver determination

    Hi Folks,
While doing Receiver determination i found this error
“Problem Loading Schema Description: Message interface does not exist in any software components installed on this business system”
i checked it in SLD also for Product assigned to Particular Business System. Even i tried with creating a new one and assigning the product and software component to it.
When i imported the Business system from SLD, i m not able to see any inbound and outbound interface for particular business system.
But it is working for another scenario where inbound interfaces are used.
    plz help me out
    Sachin

    Sachin,
    ><i>DEV and QA is having diff. SLD so i created the SWC and products in SLD again.</i>
You should export the SWCV from your Old SLD and import in into your new SLD.
and then import the same in Integration Respository.
When you try to export SWCV from SLD, you will get a .CIM file which you need to save in your local desktop and then import this in the new environment.

  • Interface not found in Recevier Determination

    Hi,
I am trying find out why I cannot see the interface i created in the IR in ID.  The sceanio is IDOC via HTTP to XI to R/3.
2 Comm channels are setup, 1) HTTP sender for business service and 2) an IDoc recvier for the R3 system.
The repository project only conatins a Message Interface (abstract, asyc) created from an imported IDoc structure.
When I go to create a new receiver or interface determination, I cannot see the interface....am i missing something?

    Hi Butts,
We use abstarct async Interface when we are using BPM else for sender we have to use <b>Outbound Async</b>. INterface.
And add this Outbound Async. interface to Business Service.
And for sender IDOC no need to create Sneder Comm. Channel even Sender aggrement is not required.

  • ** Interface Mapping - No Objects Found - IDoc is receiver

    Hi Friends,
In our scenario, sender is File & receiver is IDoc. For each record in file, we need to created one IDoc.  IDoc is CREMAS.CREMAS05.  For this as usual we exported XSD and changed the occurrence of IDOC node as minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"  (as explained in Michael Blog - 2762) and did the message mapping successfully.
While create Interface Mapping, (Message interface (OB) for File, no message interface for IDoc, we directly use CREMAS.CREMAS05 in the target interface) and 'Read Interfaces' and select the Message Mapping option' it shows 'No Objects Found'.  What could be the problem ?
Note that earlier it was working fine (Some times ago), now it is showing this error 'No Objects Found".  I am very confused why this error is coming.
Kindly help me friends, to solve this.
    Kind regards,
    Jegathees P.

    Friends,
Thanks for all your reply. When we click Read messages button automaticlly our source message (type) and target message (type) will be selected. Then, we select Mapping Program which is suitable for the Source & Target Message. When we do like this, it is showing the error 'No Objects Found'.
I want to check with you Is this due to what reason ? (Because, earlier it was working fine)
Eventhough we select 'Any' to 'Any' and select the mapping, save. After that If we do consistency check , it will show an warning message about the namespace issue.

    Hi Abdul,
Try to run the scenario in the ID.
There is one test tool to in directory for this, login to ID --> go to Tools --> Test configuration.
This will show you the error in the exact step.

  • NO Interface Mapping found in the Integration Directory (Configuration)

    Hi,
I've got following problem with PI 7.0::
I have a Mapping Scenario designed in the IR. It works - using test function - there. If I go to the COnfiguration Tool during creating of the Interface Determination it doesn't find the Interface Mapping. The Sender resp. Receiver Interfaces are correct assigned to the Business Systems.
    - Sender Business System is a FTP Server, which contains the needed Sender Interface.
    - Receiver Business System is a SAP R3 System containing the RFC Receiver Interface.
I had to change the Related Integration Server of the SAP Business System in the SLD. How can I be shure, that my PI System is syncronous with the SLD? How can i get the newest changes - BS, TS or SC - from the SLD updated to my PI?
    Thx in advance
    Michael

    Hi,
You must make sure that you have correctly identified the interfaces in your interface mapping.
    1. Message Interfaces are correctly configured
    2. Outbound/Inbound Interfaces are correctly declared in Interface Mapping
Otherwise, your interface mapping would not be found in the interface determination in Integration Directory.

  • About Interface objects in Integration Repository

    Hi All,
I want to know details about Data type enhancements & Context objects in Interface Objects. Please help me.
    Thanks,
    GOPI.

    Hi Gopikishor,
_Context objects:_ Its nothing but  to access a  element payload of the message,in Simple terms,  X-Path expressions in the repoistery..
Deeply Nested elements in the Message structure.
    Ex:
    <Header>
         <PurchaseOrgData>
                <Sender>
                       <PurchaseData> Goods</PurchaseData>
                 </Sender>
         </PurchaseOrgData>
    </Header>
Define X-path for the above structure: \Header\PurchaseOrgData\Sender\PurchaseData\
Once we can define the "Context Objects" we can use following situations..
    1) Receiver Determination: During the Receiver Condition in the Integration directory,
    2) Integration Process: During the processing business process depends upon content of message.
    Datatype Enhancement:

  • No sender or receiver interface definition found

    Hi,
I have designed an JDBC to R3 scenario.
In the XI system SXMB_MONI the message was processed successully on the outbound side.
On the R3 side. in SXMB_MONI => Trace there is a message like
no sender or receiver interface definition found
What could be the problem. I have checked the IR and ID settings.
Everything seems to be OK. Is there a problem with the Queues.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks
    Kumar

    Hi,
We have encountered same error in one of our scenarios. When we restarted these messages they were successfully processed. This could be probably because of the cache update failure at that particular instance when the message was posted.
Restarting the message through SXMB_MONI could probably solve the problem sometimes.

  • Creating interface objects in the IR

I want to create a scenario in which I send a file from a Legacy system to the XI, process the message using the BPM and send it to SAP R/3.
In the integration repository I have 3 software components (one for each system: legacy, SAP APPL, SAP BASIS)
Where am I supposed to create the interface objects ? (AM I supposed to create all the objects under one namespace in one software component or maybe create in each software component only the relevant objects ?!?!)
The problem is that I always get to a point where I need to use objects that I defined in other software component... (and are not reachable)

    Hi,
All structure pretaining to legacy side, create in legacy SWCV. For processing the message in XI, you can probably create a SWCV for middleware, so that all processing logic, mapping you can create it here. Maintain the R/3 structures in R/3 SWCV.
Also make sure, you create dependencies among these SWCV in the SLD, so that you can use one SWCV objects in other SWCV.
    Thanks,
    Sasi

    Hello Sumit
This is most probably the result of metadata corruption on runtime.
A possible workaround for this situation is:
Undeploy all the metadata DCs of all the CAF applications you have
deployed (these are the components which names end on "/metadata", excl.
caf/core/metadata and caf/tc/metadata (which are part of CAF itself)).
And then deploy the CAF applications again.

  • WDA - Interface object inactive

I have a very simple PDF, with three fields from a structure dragged-n-dropped in. All three fields are bound to the main structure I think OK. When I do a Check, everything is fine.
The problem is that the form status is Inactive, as shown at the top of the screen. When I activate it, it looks like it will activate. It goes through a process of about 1 minute. When the hour-glass wait icon disappears, the form status is still inactive...???? I tried activating the entire WDA from the top- the form remains inactive. Same results are given in either edit or display mode. I don't get it.
    Thank You......
    Just to clarify:
The View that the PDF element is in is Active.
The PDF Form element, TemplateSource interface shows to be Inactive when the right drop-down icon is clicked in the TemplateSource line.
