No matter what i do, my first mozzilla page is other than the one i choose, even if i modify in the config. What can i do?

Firefox keeps opening the "do searches" page when i open it up. My homepage is set, newtab page is set but i can't get rid of the first page that appears when i start firefox.

Wi-Fi or another interference source. Try turning off the Wi-Fi and see if the problems continue. If that solves the problem, see if you can set your Wi-Fi to run in the 5 GHz range.

Home sharing allows you to share content between computers and devices on your wifi network - so if you have your library on your computer's iTunes and you want to access it on your iPad then both your computer and iPad have to be turned on, iTunes open on your computer, and both need to be connected to the same wifi network.

First Outgoing Call Ring Louder Than The Rest?

Ok well first off, The iPhone is awesome. I have a good battery life (77 hours of standby time and going...), volume on Ipod and Movies is decent.
My question is this, I've noticed that when I make an outgoing call the first ring that comes through the earpiece and speakerphone is LOUD, loud enough for me to hear it without it pressed against my cheek. The crazy thing is that the 2nd ring and following rings are really low and stays that low during conversation which leads me to believe that there is a glitch that could be fixed. Is anyone else notice this?
Everything else about the iPhone is AWESOME!!!!

First select takes significantly longer than the succeeding select

We have a program that takes signifacantly longer time than when re-running the program in succeeding ones.
the same data are filled in the selection screen.
we run the second run after some seconds then the runtime is very much slower than the first run.
But after an hour or so, when we run the report again, it becomes slow again.
Please advice.

It's the buffer. After thje first select there is already data in the buffer so it takes less time to access it
There is nothing you can do to make the first select faster. You can bypass the buffer if you want the next access to be slower, but I wouldn´t recommend that

What does this empty error box in iPhoto 11 mean (other than the QA on this app is non-existent)

Barnd new MBP OOB experience. More iPhoto issues. This time I tried to email a photo to a friend from within iPhoto. When I hit send I got the following error. (Tried to attach photo of empty error dialog box but to no avail.) So you will have to take my word that I got a pop up box with what appears to be an iPhoto error icon and no text.) Any idea what it means other than iPhoto continues to be the shoddiest app in the mac portfolio from a QA perspective???

Repaired Permissions. Same Dialog box. Can't email from within iPhoto on new MBP.
Why was I using it? Because that was my OOB experience with the new MBP.
Also I didn't realize I could use Image Capture with my iPhone. Image Capture is not available as a choice in iTunes. But perhaps that's what is meant by sync with a folder which I am now doing.
If so then correct, its not compulsory nor is it needed and now it has been eliminated.

Since the last update, you have open your websites and they used to show a pic or website marker at the beginning of each website so you knew what it was, not its just a blank letter and its says something other than the website being viewed, annoying. So

I didn't want to step on your toes. No need to get personal.
Subpanels make some additional code necessary that hasn't got to do anything with the actual program. And I AM using subIVs as I wrote in my first post, which is exactly the root of the problem.
Nevertheless I now solved it in a way that comes close to what I wanted. I don't know if some of you meant your suggestions to be understood that way (at least I didn't ). The subVIs will now "insert" themselves (via invoke node) into a subpanel on the main vi, which they are given a reference of at call. This adds minimal aditional code, especially on the main VI which I want to keep as clean as possible. By clustering the panel reference into the parameters the subVIs are already given (not used in the example I attached below), there isn't even a change on the terminals of the subVIs.
I got to check now if this works well with event structures within the subVIs or if it can create the same problems like multiple event structures within a single VI.
So no global variables anymore and no writing values by property node. I don't know if this just wasn't possible in previous Labview versions I had a try at that (I guess it was 8.6 and/or 2009) or I just didn't come up with the idea back then.

How do programatically set focus on a record other than the first one in a block?

My form performs the query for the block, and by default it leaves the focus on the first (top) record in the block. I'd like to have it focus on the last record in the block upon initial query.
i've tried Last_record and go_record in a post-block trigger but these builtins are restricted and you can't execute them from post block triggers. i don't see any block property things that would influence this either... how can i do it? thanks.

i just figured out the answer to my own question... in the when new block instance trigger, there's an execute_query statement, and i simply put last_record statement after that...

I have been seeing a recurring instance of this error recently, that I am not completely understanding. Can anyone better explain what may be occurring when this type of error occurs.
Feel feel to speculate, but I was hoping maybe a designer might chime in on this.

Well, if I were the designer of the error code, I think I could probably give an idea of what kinds of circumstances might cause this error to occur, regardless of the application.
However, if it helps, here is the problem. I have an ATE program that performs thermal cycling for a UUT using VISA calls to a GPIB controller which communication with 3 different instruments. The test itself runs fine for long periods of time, and then I start to see this error occur. However, the program appears to continue to run after I press 'OK' from the pop-up dialog ackowledging that the error has occurred. There appears to be no evidence of a memory leak that could possibly be contributing to the problem, or at least none that I have detected, and the error description itself is very vague. So basically what I am looking for is a better understanding of what MIGHT be causing this type of error. I would not expect a specific cause for my particular application, because as Bob was so kind to point out, I hadn't offered much information in my original post. What I was really looking for was a better understanding of the error itself, from a 30kft point of view.

Is there any way i can have more than one login accounts other than the administration account i have when i first set up my computer?

I have a Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.6.8) and i am trying to set up an account for someone who regularly logs onto my guest account. I am doing this so whenever they are here and need to use my computer, they can use it without using my account( the admin account) or guest account( where the have to log into guest account and work on whatever it is they needed to do, then unfortuanatly have to erase all files from that day so they can log out )
I still want it to be an account for that person to have when they are here, but NOT guest account. Just an additional account. ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!! Thanks in advance! <3

Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause an issue like that. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.
