No more email support? VERY DISAPPOINTED

I am very disappointed that they took away their email support. It is super inconvenient for me and i'm guessing many others. I just spent 2 hours waiting for a representative to be available to chat, since that seems to be what Verizon thinks is a better solution. They are all still busy and that option ends at midnight. I am not in a place that i can make an actual phone cal either.
I used to be able to email my question right when i thought of it, and go about my day and in 2 days i would have my answer. Now i am going to have to stop my life to wait for chat to be available. I just re-uped my contract today and am regretting it big time now that it seems it will only be an inconvenience. Congrats Verizon, you've got me for another 2 years. Can't wait to waste countless hours instead of only minutes with the email option.
So what am i suppose to do when the chat isnt available, huh?

I have to agree taking away the email option without chat being available during the business day is ludicrous. But it is a money saving measure. I seem to remember reading about VZW closing some CS centers. One I know was in Southfield MI.

    I developing some Nokia wireless programming using VB and C++ and found very easy to use but in term of stability Microsoft is still not the best .
    Can any one can recomment what platform should i use for building up a wireless transaction .Please give some idea on performance wise ,stability ,scalability and ease of use so on.Currently i am using a Nokia phone connect to a PC but the transaction for these project is high(200 per day) ,so please give recommentation ,say how to do it with a SMS gateway.

    First program
    1.Received incoming call and capture the incoming call number using NOKIA phone or better recommentation
    2.Reply an SMS message to the caller
    Second program
    1.Read incoming SMS message ,probably need a listening event on Nokia Phone or better recommentation
    2.Read SMS and reply SMS
    Please reply for all Java supporter ...Please recomment the best plat for should i use and what gateway or phone should i choose.

  • Very Disappointing With BT Lack Of Support !!!

    Hello Everyone
    I would like to know how long a reported line fault takes BT to send out an engineer? As at the present time i have no dialling tone on my phone line to which i have now been unable to use my phone for over 14 days. As my phone connection is not working properly this is also restricting my broadband (ADSL 2 Up To 24mb ) Connection down to just 23kb/s which it now struggles to load most webpages. This is the third time i have had my phone line go dead in the last 24 months but have never waited this long for an engineer to come out !! I'm very disappointed with BT Lack Of Customer Support !! And i have already contacted your support team through your online email service as i'm unable to make any phone calls (Including 999 Emergency Calls If Needed) due to the problem. And so far nothing has been done by BT to solve this problem !!

It has taken me a number of days just to get this page to load & i supposed to be on super fast ADSL 2 this is a joke i'm not even getting the old 56k dial up speed !! My phone has today just reconnected it'self with a dialing tone It is now extremely crackly you can bearly hear the person that calls which states BT has done nothing to fix the fault again I have already contacted them 3 times already I will try phoning them again tomorrow & this will be there last chance before i either close the account & go with a mobile phone service package or transfer my BT account to a different phone provider to see if someone else out there in the UK can actually send out an engineer to fix the fault !! I have never recieved such poor service ever before so if i have no choice but to leave BT then i will NEVER return in the future  !!

    Very disappointed in ipod touch 5. My son's bent and he didn't abuse it! I think apple needs to admit that they made a shoddy product and this is a material defect. Many people online have the same complaint.

    Have you looked at the previous discussions listed on the right side of this page under the heading "More Like This"? Other users have posted about their 5G being "bent".
    I have not heard of a resolution.

    Maybe the problem is not your MB Air......
    Try these:
    Make sure bluetooth is turned off if you're not using it.
    Set your screen brightness to 4 bars.
    See what's loading in your login items.  Delete the ones you don't need.
    Open Activity Monitor - under All Processes see what's using most of your CPU's resources.
    Highlight the ones with the highest %CPU and hit quit process.
    Remember that when Apple says that your battery should last 7 hours, they tested it just browsing the web and not have anything open in the background and screen is set at 50% brightness.

    i think you have not understood how the attack really works. no new tab will be opened but the content of the existing page is replaced by something that resembles a popular login site. this works the same way in windows as it does in tabs, which you can test yourself at the proof-of-concept page: http://www.azarask.in/blog/post/a-new-type-of-phishing-attack/

    I am very disappointed by your marketing policies.

    I understand your frustration, we have limited Siri support here in the U.K (Siri can't search businesses etc), however we do have a supported language (which is a plus).
    Try to look at the big picture, a voice activated assistant in every iPhone 4s for everybody with an iPhone 4s, in every country iPhone 4s is released around the world! This is a huge undertaking, so many different languages, different dialects, regional variations and accents to take into account.
    I'm sure you can appreciate that this goal (if it is Apple's goal) will take time to achieve if it is to work effectively. There are reports here in the U.K that Siri understands English but not when it's spoken by anyone Scottish, especially Glaswegians (I'm Scottish and Siri and I are getting on fine - most of the time, but there are times Siri thinks I've said something completely different to what was actually said).
    Give it time to develop, it's still very early days for Siri, but what it offers long term is huge.

  • Techinical Support: Very Frustrating!

    Sorry kids, just have to vent a minute about Adobe Audition assistance...
    I started with sending an email about my issue with Audition and received a fairly quick response in the form of a pdf file. Cool. Except their "simple resolution" was beyond obvious and one that I've already tried...several times.  I decided to call tech support for a live person who could talk me through something that I might be missing.  After spending more than five minutes getting the tech to understand my name is Tommy not Tammy he decided to send me to a specialist that will help me resolve my issue with Audition.
    So, after wasting the better part of an hour on the phone with a "technical expert" I still do not have a resolution to my issue.  There are so many things wrong with tech support for Audition that my head is spinning.  I'm sure India has some very talented workers, I'm very sure the folks of India work for pennys a day. But, I'm sorry after being transfered several times to get me to the best "expert" to assist with my signal input issue, after explaining it very slowly three times, their experts best suggestion was to try un-docking or to maximize the level meter. WHAT??????
    I need to know why I'm unable to control my input signal in multi-track mode not how to move the level meter!!
    To top it all off, this technical expert disconnected the call.  Accidentally? If so, that's scary for someone who is supposed to be a technical expert with Adobe products, software and technology.  On purpose? If so, flippin' shame on her, shame on Adobe.
    I lilke Adobe products but this is just wrong.  We're failing economically here in California, just like the rest of America, and for a San Jose California company to send jobs to India while our unemployment is at double digits is just wrong.  And to top it off, from my experiences, these "experts" are clueless.
    I've wasted my time, still don't have a resolution to my issue and I'm very disappointed in Adobe on so many levels.

    I'm going to be very respectful to you, PERSONALLY.  And, respectfully, while it's not my job to do this, and my apologies, and kudos to you if it's not your job to listen to us complain, but I would think that if some PR, or Cust Svc VP @adobe.com wants to make some brownie points, they should read this entire thread, eat some humble pie, AND FIX THE PROBLEM no matter whose feelings get hurt!!
    However, the problem doesn't seem to be with most of the people, like you.  The problem is the CULTURE of the support.  Meaning, when we come to Adobe.com we have to go around the world 8X's just to simply state our issue.  What's more, it seems like EVERYTIME I come to just the Audition section (God forbid if I had to deal with any other products) every page is different from the last time I came, and I just go in circles.  I mean they're pretty pages, but honestly, JUST GET ME TO WHERE I NEED TO GO. 
    I mean, you have to admit, here's the KING of web design, and graphics, yet their own site is SOO discombobulated their own customers can't get done what they came here for.  It's the same culture at Google, cuz it's basically the same kinds of people.  It seems like they're a bunch of overly creative teenagers that just HAVE to express all of their cute little techy ideas, and don't they just look SOO cool!  They haven't ONE CLUE as to how it affects the end-user customer.
    As so many other musicians here, I go to ALL KINDS of forums every day, all over the internet, so I know what an EASILY accessible forum looks like.  For instance, Cakewalk, your competitor.  While there's things about their product that make me crazy, but if I want to go to their forum, it only takes 3-4 steps...MAX!  Click on their Community/Forums/My subforum/Login/...AND ASK MY FREAKIN' QUESTION!... DONE!!  If I want to search for a similar issue, I can, but I HAVE A CHOICE!  I don't have to be harrassed to do things YOUR WAY!  I'll give you a clear example from this very forum as to the opposite negative experience.
    In fact, the way I 1st saw your name was in a thread titled BeatMatching.  And while I got MOST of my question answered in the thread, there was still a minor question (that STILL lingers due to crappy forum design).  I tried to click on the poster of that response, and it gave me a list of the threads he'd posted on, I clicked on it, and it just took me right back where I was.  It didn't auto prompt me to SIGN IN; which I'd ALREADY done, but it kicked me out, just cuz I went to another page. 
    Someone well-grounded in customer service needs to sit down with these web content designers and say "Look, here's a list of what you need to provide to users to service THEIR needs...NOT YOURS.  Show them BIG, CLEAR Login buttons, BIG CLEAR links to get where THEY want to go.  If you want to suggest some helpful links AFTER they have posted, FINE!  If their issue gets resolved, give them a BIG CLEAR button that says so."  And Steve, Adobe has been like this for years.  So, by ALL MEANS, if they'd rather just let the natives settle issues by, and amongst themselves, I'm plenty good with that.  Just give us a decent arena to do it in!
    I hope I didn't offend you, and it does seem like the ones that DON'T need to hear our voice, are always the ones that do, and vice versa. Kinda like govt these days!

  • A very disappointed returning BlackBerry user

    I am back to BlackBerry from being away for a 3 years using Android devices and I am very disappointed with the lack of Apps I can find in "BB world". I wish I had checked if my apps were available before I changed to BlackBerry. I can't find Audible, Amazon cloud player,Rhapsody, and several newspapers I read every day, just to mention a few. Also, by not supporting flash, BlackBerry is limiting the users even more because we can't even browse to websites were we have cloud services to get those services directly from their website because most websites require flash. Is BB browser ever going to support flash? I never imagine struggling so much with this device and services available because Blackberry has promised in their advertisement that we would be amazed by their new devices. Sorry BlackBerry but just having a great device doesn't cut it for me if you have no apps to run on it and you restrict users so much. What good is it to have a great device if there are not good apps to run on it? I am definitely going back to Android as soon as I can.

    It sounds like you're referring to an Adobe PDF Pack subscription. What process are you having trouble with? Are you trying to create PDF files, or combine them? Please give me a little more info about where you're running into trouble, and I'll do what I can to help.

  • Very disappointed in Adobe for retiring FormsCentral

    I'm really disappointed and discouraged that Adobe is retiring FormsCentral.  I have used this program with great success and now will have to look elsewhere.  I have checked out a few of the sites that Adobe mentioned in their email, but none seem to supply the functionality I had with FormsCentral.  I recently just upgraded my Adobe account and will be looking to cancel.  I hope the "powers that be" at Adobe read these comments and reconsider.  You have a great product that many people are happy with - why eliminate it?

    I like many others am very disappointed to learn of Adobe's plans to retire FormsCentral! Despite having only recently discovered this software FormsCentral has helped our business to very quickly bring all of our forms into the digital age and has already done so much to improve the efficiency with which we collect info. Up until today (when I first noticed "that little banner" I was a keen advocate and promoter of not only FormsCentral but of Adobe... needless to say my position is now well and truly that of a "detractor".
    The interface of FormsCentral is much more approachable (for a newb like me) than alternatives in the creative suite (like InDesign).

  • Very disappointed

    I justed switched a week ago to Verizon High Speed Internet.  In a weeks time I have had to call billing numerous times due to a shipping error and not receiving my modem at the start date of this service.  I am already on to my second modem and have spent many, many hours and calls with tech support to resolve technical issues.  I am connected now but the track record of service/equipment so far has been very disappointing leaving me not confident that I won't need to continually be calling Verizon support.

    connect to what? the reboot issue i have seen when using the shutdown app but the battery icon on top right works most of the time.
    if you wish for some help please give us some more info, i have helped out 1000s of people on these forums
