I'm trying to run the recording example, but once I hit the record button I got this error:
"No Recording Storage URl is Set. Session will not be recorded

I tried the "lccs_10_3Beta.swc", but with no luck, I read many threads, but I got confused. Also I wrote to Julien Levadoux to become a beta participant, but he told me that service is open for a public now.
Please give me any tips to help me run the recording app.

Shold be as simple as:
1) Make sure your Mac is visible to the outside world/externally so Adobe's servers can send the .zip files to your Mac.
* might want to make sure you are not exposed to hackers, so lock down your system maybe to Adobe's IP/hosts ( a bit more info: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/868922 )
2) Setup your webDAV repo
3) "Register the endpoint" says to look at documentation that doesn't exist yet... but you have to run the one command to "handshake" with Adobe. Should look something like this:
java -jar LCCSREPO.jar <account id> <user name of your account> <password for your account> --register-repository http://<user_name_to_your_webdav>:<password_to_your_webdav>@<full_url_to_your_mac>/webdav
4) Record a session. Since you'll use the username and pass from above command, you'l be able to record and receive the recorded session ( .zip ) in your webdav.

I'm having funky, although repeatable, results using the URL to set a session parameter via AJAX call,
which always gets a Successful message.

I am verifying the session parameter 2 ways:
1. Refresh the page and view source (I took the lt and gt out)
...............span id="savedPlantId" style="visibility:hidden;"
2. AJAX call to /XMII/PropertyAccessServlet?mode=List
Quirk #1:   I see the value in the span. I do not see it in the servlet list.
Quirk #2:   I can change the value a couple (2 or 3 times) then it doesn't change after that
Quirk #3:   When it stops changing via the AJAX call, I can still change it with a browser URL
http://<server>:50000/XMII/PropertyAccessServlet?mode=Store&PropName=plantId&PropValue=199
Any hints or ideas?
Yes, I am trying to use a single pixel applet, but having trouble with that too! See a different post.
I really would prefer to use the URL as there is no visual indication to the user
and an applet (and JVM) doesn't have to load.

"Set Associations" will not allow Office 2013 Programs / executables to be Associated to a file type

Have Office 2010 and 2013 installed (installing 2010 first, then 2013) and after Windows Update applied Office 2010 SP2 later on, all of my Office file associations (except for Outlook, it points to 2013 as
expected) open up Office 2010 programs. And I'm happy that some programs (Access for example) continue to default to Access 2010.
Ok, so the problem is that for those Office programs that I want to associate to 2013 versions (Excel, PowerPoint & Word as the biggest examples), when I go into "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default
Programs\Set Associations" and pick .doc as an example (I've also tried .xls, .xlsx, .docx) and click on "Change Program", then "More Options", "Look for another app on this PC", and finally navigate to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office 15\root\office15" to double click on excel.exe or winword.exe as appropriate, the selection is ignored (i.e. the icon doesn't change to the Office 2013 style and double clicking on .doc file opens it up in Word 2010).
I do understand there is a "Fix" by either repairing the Office 2013 install or I believe to have seen a Microsoft downloadable fix program, though I do not want to run these as I'm told they will reset
all file associations to Office 2013, and there are still a couple of programs I want to open up in Office 2010, till I get a comfort level with Office 2013. Also realize that once Office 2013 SP1 comes out, it will do the same thing that Office 2010
SP2 did and change the file associations to 2013, whether I want it to or not, hopefully by then I won't have much need for Office 2010.
Also, I find it troubling that the "Set Associations" will not allow me to select specific programs, and I wonder which other File Associations has Microsoft felt appropriate to restrict access.
Look forward to the feedback as it pertains to the above (which I realize is unique to my IT Testing needs).

We can try to change the file associate in Registry key:
For all users on this computer, please change associate program of the .doc or file type you would like to under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes.
For current user account, please change associate program of the .doc or file type you would like to under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes. If there is no such extension, please create new keys for it.

have you already called Apple and explained your current situation, because I don't see a way to downgrade your storage plan with a Mac only running Snow Leopard and without a iOS device running at least iOS 5.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

I understand that your HP Diagnostics Tools are not working and you are looking to have them fixed. I am not sure if you are talking about the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics, but if you are I would advise downloading and installing the latest version. If you are not I would encourage you to post which operating system you are using. And whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit as with this I can provide you with accurate information.
Which Windows operating system am I running?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
As well if you could be a bit clearer on exactly which tools you are referring too.

Software Update 7.0.1 says my Kaspersky URL adviser and keyboard will not work? Any way to avoid this?

I get prompted to do a software update, when I start it I get a message saying my Kaspersky add on will not work and be disabled until they are compatible. The URL adviser and keyboard. Is there a way around this? I don't want anything that affects my anti virus.

First off, updating Firefox won't affect the anti-virus part of Kaspersky, only a couple Kaspersky add-ons for Firefox. Second, check with Kaspersky to find out if or when they're going to have compatible Firefox extensions ready for Firefox 7.

My ipad will not swipe on. I have a msg that I do not have any storage left. The ipad will not turn off as well to reset.

I have almost given up on trying to get my C4580 All-in-one installed on my XP Home Edition PC.
Has anyone else encoutered this problem.
XP will not allow hp imaging to register.

I think I had your same problem, or at least very similar. The error I got had "MSI.dot4wrp", not "MSI.dot4wpt". I sent a detailed cause and solution to HP, but apparently they do not have it entered well into their system.

The solution was to run "regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\atl.dll" from the Start:Run window. After that, the installer completed with no errors.
