No refund as yet... This is quite unbelievable!!!

Hi,
I had signed up for BT Infinity moving from VM but VM came back and "matched" BT's offer and my order with BT got cancelled automatically.
But I have still not received my £120 which I had paid as the yearly line rental and I had contacted the CS who told me I would get the money into my account within 5-7 working days and it's already past the 7 working days and the money has still not come into my account...
Any advise?

You might have to push a bit harder for it. Speak to them again, but if you get no joy ,possibly the mods might be able to help. If you do need them ,fill in this form:  http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4951
Remember it can take up to 72hrs to get a reply from the mods, and its also the weekend, so its possible that some are having a well deserved break

    Apple's policy on sales of digital content is that all sales are final. If however you wish to appeal to Apple, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
    You can delete songs from your iTunes library on your mobile device by swiping them and then tapping the delete button that appears.

    In the iPhone backup. Right click on the phone in iTunes and choose "Restore from Backup".

    Everyone was given the album. It was a gift from U2 and Apple. You can go to purchases and download it to your device.

    You don't have the game or the game data?
    Games can be redownloaded in the App Store app. If the game offers in-app purchases, there is a setting in the game that allows you to redownload past purchases.
    If you haven't back up, my first question is why? Even if you get the game back, your progress may not be retained. You may still have hope if the developers save your user progress either on their serers or in Game Center. You can only try and hope that is the case.

  • This is quite strange... Fast/Turbo setting.

    I had been running my computer on fast mode, and my temps were quite high.. idle at 50-52c...
    Someone suggested turning off turbo mode to lower temps, well, since i wasnt using it in the first place.. I turned it on. And well, it lowered my temps. Im pretty confused as to why this is. When i run in turbo mode, the cpu idles at about 42-44c.
    Anyone?

    all turbo appears to do really is to make sure cpu halt is disengaged..with the older athlon boards, cpu halt enabled was sometimes an issue..if you don't know what cpu halt does, it kind of 'turns down" the cpu when it is not at much load (look at your cpu at next to no load..cpu 1% useage..why have the cpu working full out)..when you leave settings at fast if you have the 1.2 bios, you will notice temps quite a bit lower than when at turbo...i haven't tried overclocking fsb with turbo enabled but now that i know cpu halt exists and how to toggle it on and off..i'm going to:) in the old days with pcr files and wpcredit and wpcrset, we used to wait anxiously for the new file that defined the settings for this..msi has built it in already..just haven't made it obvious..probably because there are those who say it reduces the lifespan of the processor with expansion and contraction of the die on the processor.i disagree..a) i've done this for years on overclocked boards b) everytime you turn on your processor, you can go from cold to hot within 2 minutes if that won't distort the die, the halt function won't..and thermal throttling has been used without issue on pentium chips for years!

    Well, personally I prefer the Mac OS X behavior to that of WinXP, though I can see both sides of the argument. With Windows, every single window occupies space on the task bar, even if several of them are from the same application. With Mac OS X, I have one icon in the dock. Much less clutter. (Yes, I know I can "group" task bar items, but that has its own set of annoyances.)
    With tongue slightly in cheek, maybe that's why they call it Windows, because it's window-centric, while Mac OS X is application-centric with respect to the dock.

  • Is it only me or is this laptop quite loud?

    First of all let me tell you that this is the first gaming notebook I've bought, since I absolutely need it due to the mobility of my job.
    Now I've been wondering why it seems to be really loud (the fans).
    I understand that notebooks may be a tick louder than desktops but it seems like the fans just go absolutely crazy at random times during gaming sessions.
    Checked the temperature with dragon gaming center and at said times the CPU and GPU were around 65°, so there shouldnt be a need for the fans to go this crazy right?
    Help would be much appreciated.

    Actually the GT72 dissapoints a little. Sorry to say that. I had two laptops of the previous models and I'll explian why:
    2 generations befor the GT72 the CoolerBoost had one fan but two "cooling sinks" besides that fan.
    1 generation before the GT72 they added a thermal bridge between GPU and CPU heatsinks so the heat was transported both ways and the "cooling sink" of the CPU helped to cool down the GPU (but the CPU could (in therory) also heat up the GPU).
    The GT72 now has 2 separete fans and the two "cooling sinks" besides the fans are not as close as before. But it has only an additional thermal bridge form CPU hestsink to the GPU "Cooling sink" (not heatsink). Both fans are controled individually. The CPU fan only speeds up if the CPU is getting hotter.
    So in situations where the CPU is generating much heat this cooling solution should be more powerful.
    But in standard situations I'm not sure. It seems even a little less powerful.
    In the last MSI barebone I had (with GTX780M - 1 generation older as GT72) there was just one fan for CPU and GPU but that fan still was in SPIN DOWN under normal office use most of the time. In the GT72 I never had both fans spinning down a single second...

    When I click on the message the page then seems to load, but it seems to be slowing down the loading of pages, and its irritating to say the least. I'm wondering if it could be one of my extensions, I've heard it could be AdBlock Plus.....I may have to uninstall and see if this is the problem....unless you know of something different.     That is a script that websites use to display Flash content for various browsers.
    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    * "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    * "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    * Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
