No service abroad although I've purchased add-ons before departure

I purchased a text/call add-on before going away to Europe, but have had no service since arriving
I asked to have my roaming switched on but it appears that's it is not switched on. I can only access messages through wifi but as this is not always available I need to be able to call/text.
How do I access the live chat? And as there is no way I can call the UK from my phone, how can I contact EE so that they can turn my roaming on?

Hi, yes I did call to ask them to switch roaming on and they said they did, so that I could use the text/call add-ons as I don't really need roaming add-ons. They said roaming was enabled and I have the text/call add-on but can't use them and I'm not always going to have wifi, that's why I purchased the add-ons. Can roaming only be switched on from the UK? As I can't do it from the app/ on my account.

    It sounds like there is an issue with the audiobook you purchased from iTunes.  I recommend following the steps in the following article to report this to the iTunes Store:
    To report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBookstore purchase, follow these steps:
    Find the email receipt for your purchase.
    Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
    When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
    Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
    From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
    Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
    Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.

  • Checking compatibility of add-ons BEFORE upgrading

    There used to be a feature that would pop up with announcements that major Firefox upgrades were available where you could run a compatibility check with your add-ons before you upgraded. This current system where you upgrade and then hope that your favorite add-ons work and just report them if they don't is frankly useless. My add-ons are more important to me than any new features 5.0 is offering. I'm not as worried about security as I am about convenience. Add-ons are the reason I use Firefox and if they don't work then I don't need it. So is there a way to check compatibility before I upgrade? I've looked and can't find it and I've searched help and can't find an answer. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Apparently I wasn't clear or the word upgrade wasn't right. I meant going from 4 to 5. I downloaded it, installed it and got no option resembling that at all, it just saved a DMG to my hard drive and then told me to put it in my applications folder as always. I opened it and that was that, no compatibility check. I already got one error about an add-on that's vital. I'd backed up before I installed and saved Firefox 4 as a separate file before opening 5, I hope I'll be able to go back to it. The old system was really much better, what's the point of finding out after you already installed something if your systems will work? Or of avoiding installing because you're afraid they might not when everything very well might be fine? I can guarantee you that I won't be installing an major updates for a very long time, that's for damn sure.

    Hi, I have a hub app and need to give users the option to purchase various add-ons. For each such ad-on, I need to download a new set of files. Where would such files be stored, and how does it work when a new purchase is made? I cant seem to find any
    documentation to guide me.

    You can definitely store your file somewhere in your server when the customer buy your product, your app validated, download from that place.

    I usually take a different tack. First, I plan the images and outline Effects that I feel tell my story better. Then, if my NLE (Non Linear Editor) program does not offer the Effects that I need, I go looking for them, from companies, like NewBlue FX, or Red Giant (not so much for PrE, but a ton for PrPro, FCP, AE and AVID). I like the Red Giant Magic Bullet Looks portfolio, though have to admit to only using a few out of the bunch. Still, it is easier to buy a suite, than to try to find just the Effect that I need.
    As a for instance, going from color to b/w, or b/w to color, can be very impactful, but only if it figures into the presentation of the story.
    In general, I use my Adjustment Effects often, such as Levels, and various Color Correction plug-ins. Once it gets to the "creative" Effects, I have to justify their need with my story. Same for Transitions - gotta' have a good need to go beyond Butt-Cuts, Cross-Dissolves and Dip-to-Blacks. I do use more Effects and Transitions with Titles and Intros, but fewer in the body of my videos.
    There are enough differences between PrE and PrPro, that one would want to check any add-on's compatibility chart, and if that is not clear, would drop an e-mail to their support department, just to make sure that their add-on will work in PrE.

    We have identified a lag in obtaining products on Windows machines whereby a reboot is necessary to kick-start the product installation. We are investigating this. For Lightroom products, it is best to use only the CC Desktop App - available from http://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud, rather than Extension Manager.

    I don't know. Usually there's a DRQ (dev. request) process where all requirements are collected. For version 2004 this happened a long time ago... Maybe noone wanted that feature for Service Invoices?
    I propose to log that question as a message on SAP Service Marketplace.

    P.S.
    I have loads and loads of free podcasts in iTunes in my iMac, that are certainly more thant the 5 gigas the iCloud provides for free, so I don't want those to go to the cloud. But this is perhaps a different question...
    Also need to mention that I have itunes on a mac, a pc and an iphone.
    Sorry to look so silly with this question, but I don't get the "big picture".

    You need to create a user account for your wife (or yourself depending on who has the current user account). When syncing, each of you should sign in as a separate user, login to iTunes and then sync. I had this problem when my sister got an iPhone. When we did her initial sync, everything on my iPhone showed up on hers. Apple gave me this solution.

  • CRM service order does not create purchase requisition

    Dear experts,
    CRM 5.0
    We have a scenario where saving a released service order should create a purchase requisition in ECC and update the document flow. I have performed the following steps and still the PR isn't getting created.
    1. Configuration in CRM and ECC for integration of service processes with logistics and maintaining the purchasing document types.
    2. Maintaining standard pruchase groups in ECC table V_TMW01
    3. Assigning standard purchase org to the plant
    4. Making sure correct RFC destination is assigned to the logical system.
    Am I by any chance missing some middleware steps as saving the service order does not even trigger anything in the system?

    1) You have created the subscription in SMOEAC with Site , Replication object  and Service Order
         Process type in the criteria value.
    2) You have maintained the customizing entry in CRM in spro for the following combination in logiistics      
        Integration for  Trans.Type  Item Cat.  Service Organization Org Unit (Service)  Log. Scen.

  • I keep getting this message whenever I click on the "Find Updates" tab in Tools/Add-ons: "Plugin Finding Service Error. We've encountered an error. Please try your request again later. Retry."

    I have updated Firefox to 3.6.16, and Flash Player to the new 10.2.153.1, and all the other "extensions" and "add-ons" work just fine. I can't figure out what the problem is except to say that, I have not been able to "update" the "plugins" in Firefox.
    Every day I have been trying to see if there is any change, but each time the message box reads the same: "Plugin Finding Service Error...." etc, as stated in the "Question" above.

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    * Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    * Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    You can check the permissions for all sites on the about:permissions page, via the location bar.
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    *Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

    For other add-ons, it depends on the add-on. For example add-ons can add buttons to the toolbars, create new toolbars, add entries to menus. Some may have no user interface but just change how a feature in Firefox works.

  • How can I active the Facebook & Twitter in the Services in the Add-ons menu?

    When I log on to my facebook account, I don't see any Turn On or Activate button on the page. A sidebar will open and a confirmation message will be shown.
    Click OK in the confirmation message to turn the service on.

    Okay, I had to wipe my hard drive and install a clean version of Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 [32-bit] and the latest Beta version of Firefox 26.
    When I log onto Facebook, how to I add the Social Features to Firefox? Where on Facebook will I see "Click the Turn On or Activate button on the page. A sidebar will open and a confirmation message will be shown. "? I've tried everything on [[Add social features to your browser]], and on [[Find and install add-ons to add features to Firefox]] .

    After updating Firefox to 5.0.1 the add-ons Manager did not show any of my add-ons, although they were all running. Several restarts of Firefox, even with the add-ons disabled did not bring them back. I then installed another add-on and after restarting, all of the previous add-ons are now shown in the manager.
    Running on Mac 10.5.8. Add-ons installed:
    Adblock Plus, Add-on Compatibility reporter, Ant Video Downloader, Forecastfox, Google toolbar, Reload Every, Session Manager, and Steep and Cheap Watcher.
    Note: the troubleshooting information was taken after the problem was fixed. Prior to fixing the issue, there were no items under the Extensions heading. Add-on Compatibility Reporter was the add-on that was added to restore all of the other add-ons, even though it was already installed.

    FWIW, renaming or deleting extensions.sqlite and the other files beginning with "extensions." causes the files to be rebuilt from the extensions directory, so nothing is lost, but they will be restored in alphabetical order.
    I've solved places.sqlite problems by simply restoring a bookmarks backup, or creating a bookmarks backup and restoring that rather than face loss of history.
