No stock showing in Inventory on date stock report

Hi
I have created a Stock on date query at plant material level using standard cube 0IC_C03
to get stock quantity on posting date i have restricted 0TOTALSTCK
by 0CALDAY variable .
Correct me if any thing wrong to get on date stock.
When i m executing that report for date 20.07.2009 , it shows 0 qty for a given Plant(1001) and a given material(ABC)
where MB5B report in R/3 with same date show sum stock qty.
again i executed the report with 17.07.2009 , on which the material(ABC) was lastly transacted for that given plant(1001)
for this date i m able to match the qty with MB5B.
Then i check sum other stock report which is at 0CALMONTH level wen executed with 07.2009 shows correct qty.
Now my question is y it is showing 0 qty wen the stock is there in it ? is query definition not proper to get stock on date ?

No need to restict.
in rows, calday, plant, materials
in column 0TOTALSTCK.
for 2 days data will look like this.
19/07/2009 -- 1001 -- 011235 --- 256 KG
20/07/2009 -- 1001 -- 011235 --- 280 KG
stock as on 19 in MB5B, after recipts and issue is 256 KG.
stock as on 20 th in MB5B, after recipts and issue is 280 KG.
based on issues and recipts, data will be added to total stock.
yes, stock will be last date posting date. as on today we can validate data till yesterday.
one more thing for plant whose values are not matching, did to drill down stock type and stock category and check data.
use RWBE t-code also for validation.

Please check the detect query in the Note No. : 1250867 and 1022965 and check whether the result obtained includes the Item Code with which the issue is happening.
If yes, then you need to log a support ticket to SAP Support to get the issue investigated.

LS24 stock showing up as negative with stock type Q

Hi Gurus,
Can anybody please help me through this issue. The quality team passed an inspection lot and i see that there is a mterial doc generated with movement type 321 with a storage type 922, storage bin TR_ZONE stock category Q and posting change number on the WM tab of the material doc. Now i also see that there is this quantity of material showing up in LS24 with a negative sign and stock type Q. Now what do we need to so that the entry for the material goes away from LS24 and that the user can move this material from storage type 922 to 003 (where we usually store all tyhe materials).

As susggested, i tried to creat the transfer order from LU04 and/or LT06 and i get the error message.
No quants exist for posting changes
Message no. L3094
Diagnosis
No quants requiring a posting change were found.
Procedure
Check your entries.
Also to give little more background on why this problem could be happening is, all these days we used todeal with 101 movement type for international purchases. But recently we went with 107 and 109 movement types for international purchases. The advantage of doing this was, some of our vendors were on 30 days payment terms and it usually takes 60 days to get the material via ocean to US. PLus we take the ownership of material in Asia. So the way we handled this was the moment ownership is taken we would do a 107 (here inspection lot will not be created as the material is still on the water, this is made in config), which would then allows us to post invoice and process for payment, then finally when the material arrives at our plant in US, then we would do a 109 (during this inspection lot will be created, i made this entry in config). I'm starting to think that this could have impavceted somewhere in WM. By the way we only have one plant that is warehouse managed, rest of the other plants are not WM managed. I hope this background will help is solving this problem

Showing new line in Data in reports

Hi All,
We are having one column in Database which have the message with multi line and having proper indentation.
But when i try to display it in report it is showing in single line without any proper indentation.
The datatype of the column is varchar in DB.

It's because you are in a web browser.
If you set this in a formula :
CHAR(13) || 'Geek' || CHAR(13) || 'Geek'You will have no carriage return
Now with a replace in the formula :
REPLACE(CHAR(13) || 'Geek' || CHAR(13) || 'Geek', CHAR(13), '<BR>')And you have set the format as HTML in the properties of the column, you will see the proper result.
I assume that in your database, it's a vertical tab : CHAR(13) but it can be also :
- a back space CHAR(10)
- or a carriage return CHAR(15)
Try them one by one in replacement of CHAR(13)
REPLACE(Table.Column, CHAR(13), '<BR>')Success

Inventory: incorrect valuated stock values

this is regarding strange behavior of value of valuated stock (0VALSTCKVAL) in inventory management cube.
after initializing 2LIS_03_BX and 2LIS_03_BF, we're running daily deltas on 2LIS_03_BF.
keyfigure ValStockValue shows incorrect value in report.
This is a non-cumulative keyfigure based on inflow and outflow of 0RECVS_VAL and 0ISSVS_VAL respectively.
in the report drilled down on daily level, 0RECVS_VAL and 0ISSVS_VAL show blank values but valuated stock shows some value. The stock quantities on these days are also none. the incorrect valuated value carried forward to all other days, hence affecting the overall value.
Please tell me how to fix this issue...i've researched alot here without much help.

Customer due date analaysis report

In customer due date analysis report S_ALR_87012068 figures are different from customer local currency report. In vendors due date analysis report figures matches with vendor local currency figures. But some different amount is showing in customer due date analysis report why it so? FBL5n also showing some different amount

Inventory Management _Total Stock is not showing

Dear Expert,
This is new Inventory development I have extracted the data from BX to 0CI_C03 and compressed the request without No marker check,
And then loaded the BF with Initialization (without data transfer) and updated request with No marker check,
I could find out the Receipt quantity values and issue quantity as 0(very less in Dev), Problem here-
Total stock showing blank no values.
Please suggest

Inventory cube 0IC_C03 ,Stock on particular date

Hi All,
   We are trying to get the stock on a particular date using cube 0IC_C03 ,but we are unable to get the total stock on a given date.
1)Ex: I want stock on 01.12.2009 ,but in the query output I am getting null values.
I am only getting the total stock quantity on the loaded date for ex:04.01.2010(which is my data loading date in to the cube).
2)And when we restrict 0calday with <=01.12.2009 ,i have to get the total stock till 01.12.2009

try with below options.
Use :
0VALSTCKVAL   " for Value
0VALSTCKQTY   " for Qty
0CALMONTH        " for Month
Use the above combinations in New Selections in columns and go it.
For Qty Opening:
New Selection bad drag abd drop following things
0VALSTCKQTY   " for Qty
0CALMONTH        " for Month and restrict with less then or equalto option variable (single value, user input) and set the offeset
                               value = -1 bcoz if user will give 12.2009 , so it will display 11.2009 closing stock, this is opening for 12.2009.
For Qty Closing:
New Selection bad drag abd drop following things
0VALSTCKQTY   " for Qty
0CALMONTH        " for Month and restrict with less then or equalto option variable (single value, user input) .
In the same way build for Value and other Keyfigures on 0IC_C03.
And
Drag & drop
0MATERAIL
0PLANT " Give some Input Variable.

If it is BI 7 then for BX in in DTP in Extraction Tab you need to select Extacrion mode = NON-Cumulative option.

I am new to inventory. I need some help.
After opening the periods of purchasing and inventory for the month of April'15. The below reports should match in costing.
But they are not matching. Kindly help on this as its PROD.

MBEWH is the valuation history, this is only updated with the first movement after a period closure. And the period is a month.
There is no table in SAP that holds the stock information on daily basis.
You have to develope this yourself. Easiest method by copying a table like MBEW and MARD daily to a Z-Table.
A stock situation at a certain date can be calculated with MB5B.

I have to upload data for Inventory count for Various stock types.
1)can any one explain me what is inventory count for various stock types,
2)any standard methods available to upload data
3)what is the transaction.

Hi,
1.While taking up physical inventory you have the option of doing it for different stock types being maintained .Like Quality stock,unrestricted stock ,blocked stock.If you are doing this activity in sessions in MI31 ,you need to check against the stock types which are to be counted.This will include the stock of the items as selected and leave aside the stock types not selected.In MI01 also you can select these stock types which are donated by 1,2,3 & 4 stock type.After creating the document the stock counted is to be entered in MI04 .Than get the difference list in MI20.The difference will be posted in MI07 which will complete the activity and stock will be adjusted after posting tyhe difference.
3.With respect to document ref: TCode for Inventory count: MI04
Without document ref: Tcode MI09

In MB5B report please select the Stock type as valuated stock, this will give you the Stock Value also.

Custom Report for the Stock and Stock value for a specific date

Hi SAP Gurus,
Is there any SAP standard t-code or any logic to get the transcations (additions (for example: Purchases) and subtractions (Sales) to the inventory) for a particular materials in a plant and with Total Stock and also Total Stock value when that particular transaction happened?
Our system is R/3 4.7
I looked at the MB5B, MBCE, MBCA, MC44, MB51 and some other standard T-codes but could not find the total stock value at the time of Transaction happened.
The history tables MBEWH and MARDH are updated after the month end closing procedures, right, which means I will have the inventory value changing every month if material has Price "S".

Hi Harter,
Unfortunately, you cannot see in a single tcode the value of stock and stock quantity on a specific date. As you yourself have pointed out, we only have to make use of the history table MBEWH, MARDH for the month wise stock quantity and value. Along with that you should also make use of the table MBEW to take teh stock quantity and value. So the total value of stock on a particular date will be
Stock qnty = MBEWH value until the previous month (for teh specific valuation class, period etc) + MBEW value for the present date.
But this will nto work out if you want to find out teh stock quantity and stock value on a past date basis. For past data, only m onthwise data is available. For this anyway you can refer to MC.1 and so on reports.

Posting date stock value

We are customize the report refer to MB5B.
in mb5b it show the total value and the stock for the material for the date that we gvien. ( even in the old date)
we trying to capture the value for stock for stor location wise.
we need to know that how the system calculate the old price of the particular day stock.
suppose i need to calculte stock 100 pc on 01.01.2009.
from which table system pick the particular price of the material.
