No suitable sender agreement error  (File -- XI -- IDOC R/3)

Hi All,
I am completeing teh 'File --> XI -->IDOC to R/3' scenario.
Have manged to complete teh IR and ID config as per the various threads in SDN.
I am using FCC in the Sender File adapter (which I assume will read the file data and convert to XML data). When this channel is activated, it gives me the error 'No suitable sender agreement found'.
As per various posts in sdn, this scenaruio may not need sender agreement as XI is finally using IDOC adapter to send data to R/3.
Am I correct in assuming that ??
Could you help point any potential missing config.
For your reference:
The comm Channel used to read file data is using File adapter (marked as SENDER/NFS/FCC/Integration server)
Appreciate your feedback.
Thanks
Shirin

I have Tried with 2 FTP, one in my PC, and one Public... but in both cases, it's doesn't works... monitoring my communication channel, I get the No suitable sender agreement found ERROR....
I thought... may be PI has not access to the FTP's servers, so run in SAP PI server, an ABAP program trx se38, program: RSFTP002 and with this, I could connect to the FTP...  it works perfectly.
so I don't understand... what I'm doing bad?
    Any Help?

when ever we make changes after an error, sometimes XI will not take the changes in cache automatically; uses old one. solution for this is complete Cache refresh.

  • Problem with Sender service in File to IDOC scenario

    Hello All,
Am doing a file to IDOC scenario.
I have configured the sending system as a party and added a business component, to the BC attached the service interface and also configured the sender Communication channel(CC) as file.
On the receiving end configured the R/3 system from SLD as the business system and configured the receiver CCl. Can see the R/3 logical system in the Adapter specific identifiers at business system.
Pushing the file get an error "Unable to convert the sender service  to an ALE Logical System".  But choosing "Take sender from Payload" in the receiver CC is resolving the problem, however the sender partner number remains the same as what I have mapped to the control record in message mapping (which is like hard coding).
    My questions are:
    1. Am I doing the correct config in terms of the scenario. (like using  "Take sender from Payload")
    2. I tried using identifiers at the party level to convert the sending system, but nothing seems to work. But sending system remains the same as the constant from mapping.
Suggestions would be very much helpful..

  • Sending Acknowledgements in File to IDoc scenario

    Hi,
I have configured File to IDoc scenario successfully. I would like to send acknowledgements whenever any error occurs. But, unfortunately I could not able to find IDX_NOALE report which is required for acknowledgement configuration. To my knowledge, this report is necessary.
Can anybody suggest workaround for this?

  • Sender agreement error

    hi,
we have two XI systems connected using XI adapter. I am observing a strange behaviour in a case where a file was processed, mapping was done and finally one XI is trying to send it to other. The error being reported is about sender agreement but in the call adapter version of message, in the IE.
Error in sender agreement for party , service XXXXX , interface namespace XXXXX , interface XXXX No sender agreement found for , , , , ,
    Any pointers?
    Rgds,
    Amol

    Hi Suraj,
that is not the case. XI1 is aware of what is being done and the fact is actually this has been working fine for last 1.5 yrs but started giving this error all of a sudden.
Do you know if SLD related changes could have such kinda weird impact?
SOAPFault received from Integration Server. ErrorCode/Category: XIServer/IN
here the thread owner mentions that the issue was because of some SLD issue.

    Antonio,
you can ignore whole EDIDC Segement make disabled in our mapping still it works . but the problem is not with this is our meta data chekc in IDX2 t/c code of XI box.
it has some problem the strcuture you generate and R/3 accepts are not same their is mismatch in structure

  • Bulk file upload error: File to IDoc

    Dear all,
    I have a File -> XI -> IDoc scenario.
The scenario is working fine for files with filesize 2 MB.
But, when I upload a bulk file with filesize 23 MB, it is Struck in XI
In the SXMB_MONI, I see the error flag in the "Outbound Status"
The error message is "Message has error status on Outbound side".
In the R/3 side, the IDoc segments have number of occurrences from 1 to 9999999999
Is there any restriction in the size of the file we upload in SAP XI?
Could anyone tell me the reason for the error and the possible solutions?
    Thanks in advance
    Kind regards,
    Thangesh

Is there any restriction in the size of the file we upload in SAP XI?
There is no theoretical limitation. Bcoz the size more depends upon th hardware configuration and tuning in XI.
The 23MB file can easily be handled in XI.
Could anyone tell me the reason for the error and the possible solutions?
A probable reason would be the hardware configuration. U may check the XI tuning guide.

  • XI 3.0  Sender Agreement error during Configuration Wizard

    Hi
During the Sender Agreement generation of the Configuration Wizard an error occurs because it takes the value of "" for Receiver Party and Service.  This was discuused during the XI252 Session at the San Diego SAP TechEd.  The proposed solution was to copy the existing Sender Agreement and remove the "" values.  However, no Sender Agreement exists that could be copied.  Therefore, I attempted to manually create a Sender Agreement.  But now I end up with the following error:
    Thrown:
    MESSAGE ID: com.sap.aii.ib.bom.landscape.rb_landscape.SLD_***_NOT_FOUND_EX
com.sap.aii.utilxi.swing.framework.PersistenceException: Unable to find an associated SLD element (source element: SAP_BusinessSystem, [CreationClassName, SAP_BusinessSystem, string, Name, XID, string], target element type: SAP_BCSystem)
Has anybody encoutered this also, and more importantly, found a solution?
    Frank Deijkers

    Hi,
I think you have to add:
    Optional: xml.addHeaderLine 0
Obligatory: try to put the ; between quotation marks like:
    Hope this helps.

  • Send custom error message using IDoc conversion rule?

    Hello,
I am using an Idoc conversion rule in BD79 to load cost centers.  In my conversion rule I use a conversion exit function module to concatenate 2 specific characters and sending cost center value together and then this output value placed in the receiving cost center field.  This works fine, but now I want to send a custom error message to the idoc and fail the idoc if the sending cost center value is greater than 8 digits.
Does anyone know how to send an error message or update an idoc with an error message using a conversion rule (bd79)?
    Thank you,
    Rhonda

  • Error-file to Idoc

    Hi,
I have created file to idoc scenario.
I have done all the Design and  Configuration parts.
But when executed the same scenario by placing input file on input folder.
Its not picking the file and in sxmb_moni also it wont give any messages?!!
What would be the problem....Can you help me out??!!
    Cheers.,
    Stallin

    Hi Stallin,
Do you see any channels in the Adapter monitoring?
It's look to me like a cache problem,
Do you see the channel in SXI_CACHE?
Have you try to perform CPA CACHE REFRESH?
Try to read the following guide "How to Handle Caches in SAP XI 3.0" https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/1a69ea11-0d01-0010-fa80-b47a79301290
I think that one of the cache refresh in http://SERVER:PORT/rep -> Administartion will solve yor problem

  • Problem when creating receiver agreement for File to IDOC scenario

I have done the following :
    1. Created two business systems one for the file system and other for the R3 system and also I created two communication channel, one as sender communication channel and one as receiver communication channel.
    2. Created the receiver determination
    3. Created the interface determination
    4. Created the sender agrement
    5. Now when I was trying to create the receiver agreement I want to assign the receiver communication channel i have created to the receiver agreement but the F4 help gives me no records and I am thus stuck at this point.
Please suggest me how to proceed forward from here.

    Hi ,
<i>5. Now when I was trying to create the receiver agreement I want to assign the receiver communication channel i have created to the receiver agreement but the F4 help gives me no records and I am thus stuck at this point.</i>
Make sure that your created communication channel for reciever is under the respective reciever business system and give the same while creating the reciver agrement.
