No tag lib found with URI exception

Hi, Im getting the following exception while rendering a jsp.
No tag library could be found with this URI. Possible causes could be that the URI is incorrect, or that there were errors during parsing of the .tld file.
<%@ taglib uri="http://www.bea.com/servers/portal/tags/netuix/render" prefix="render" %>
I see that URI is not working. I dont see any render.tld also.. Can any one suggest how to use this taglib.
Do I need to download it from somewhere ?

Hi ,
Yes, I'hv created web portal project and it has gor default weblogic portal facets.
I see the render_taglib.jar in the web-inf/lib.
Thanks for replying.

    Dear Experts,
    I am facing an issue and need your guidance
    I have a ADF task flow which is consumed in portal. My task flow uses a custom tag library.
    When I run the task flow on portal I am facing following issue:

    Hi,
    Make sure you have the JSTL tag library selected in you deployment plan. Go to Project Properties->Deployments->your_deployment_profile->WWB-INF/Lib Contributors and check JSTL.
    Let me know if this worked for you!
    Regards,
    Mihai

  • "No tag library could be found with this URI" error while compiling jsp

    I am using WebLogic Server 9.2 MP1, JDK 1.5.0_09, Struts 1.3.5
              I am pre-compiling jsp pages with wlappc ant task. However, I got following errors when a jsp page contains ant taglib:
              No tag library could be found with this URI. Possible causes could be that the URI is incorrect, or that there were errors during parsing of the .tld file.
              The jsp page looks like:
              <%@ taglib uri="http://struts.apache.org/tags-html" prefix="html" %>
              wlappc complains taglib could not be retrieved from this uri. Actually, since Struts 1.3.5, those ".tld" files are contained in strust-taglib-1.3.5.jar, folder META-INF/tld/. And I don't need to set anything in web.xml <tag-lib> tab anymore.
              All the jsp pages can be successfully compiled while being deployed to Server. So what am I missing? My build.xml file looks like:
                   <target name="compile-jsp">
                        <wlappc source="${src.dir}" output="${out.dir}"
                             keepgenerated="true" optimize="true" classpathref="wl_classpath"/>
                   </target>
              where "wl_classpath" contains all the struts related jar files, e.g. struts-core-1.3.5.jar, struts-taglib-1.3.5.jar, ...., and weblogic related jars, e.g. weblogic.jar.....
              I checked "beehive" samples coming with weblogic92, and found it pretty much did the same thing regarding build script and jsp files. So I am totally lost!
              Please help me out. Many thanks.

    Yes sorry, you're correct. The uri I mentioned is just 1.0.
    Do you have the "Oracle WebLogic Web App Extension" Facet for your web project? If not, try adding that and making sure that there is a weblogic.xml file created in the WEB-INF dir. The weblogic.xml file allows you to deploy usig a shared lib for JSTL. It should contain a library-ref element something like the following, with a version of 1.1.
    <wls:library-ref>
    <wls:library-name>jstl</wls:library-name>
    <wls:specification-version>1.1</wls:specification-version>
    <wls:exact-match>true</wls:exact-match>
    </wls:library-ref>

  • Weblogic 12c : Spring taglib No tag library could be found with this URI

    Hello,
    I have an application which deploy perfectly on JBOSS 7 and Websphere
    My WAR includes WEB-INF/lib/spring-webmvc.jar which contains all .tld files declaration (stardard stuff up to now....)
    When I try to acces ths page (JSP) I got : No tag library could be found with this URI
    Really don't know why ??

    I think that there is bug in JSP precompilation by weblogic 12c maven plugin and appc. Seems me that jsp compiler can lose sometimes tag libraries it's precompiling. Next retry using exactly same pom can be successful. I get same results using command line and OEPE 12.1.1.0 mave(pom). My java options for maven package are(-Xmx1024m -Xms1024m -XX:PermSize=512m).
    When I get the error it's something like
    "Failed to execute goal com.oracle.weblogic:wls-maven-plugin:12.1.1.0:appc (default) on project ui_elements:
    There are 1 nested errors:
    weblogic.utils.compiler.ToolFailureException: jspc failed with errors :weblogic.servlet.jsp.CompilationException: naviButtons.tag:23:6: The tag handler class was not found "jsp_servlet._tags.__pagelink_tag".
    <T:pageLink url="${naviStatus.previousPage.linkUrl}"
    ^--------^
    naviButtons.tag:23:6: The tag handler class was not found "jsp_servlet._tags.__pagelink_tag".
    <T:pageLink url="${naviStatus.previousPage.linkUrl}"
    Failed to execute goal com.oracle.weblogic:wls-maven-plugin:12.1.1.0:appc (default) on project ui_elements:"
    Next unsuccessful compilation can mention different tags. Very irregular behavior.
    Do you have resolution?

    OC4J 10.1.3 does support JSP 2.0, as well as custom tag libraries (including JSTL 1.1).
    There are two approaches to configuring a custom tag library for use in JSPs served by OC4J:
    1) Package the JSTL or custom tag library with your application:
    i. include the necessary JAR file in your web app's /WEB-INF/lib folder
    ii. include the relevant Tag Library Descriptor (TLD) file(s) in your web app's /WEB-INF folder
    iii. for each TLD, add a <tag-lib> element to web.xml referencing the TLD file's location and taglib URI
    2) Place the JSTL or custom tag library in an Application Server instance-level directory ($ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/jsp/lib/taglib) to make them available to multiple applications (in all OC4Js installed in the Oracle Home)
    For example, if you'd like to use the JSTL 1.1 Core and Internationalization Tag Libraries, do one of the following:
    1) Package the JSTL or custom tag library with your application:
    i. Obtain an implementation of JSTL (e.g. Jakarta Taglibs) and include the standard.jar and jstl.jar files in your web module's /WEB-INF/lib directory
    ii. From the JSTL implementation you're using, also copy the c.tld and fmt.tld Tag Library Descriptors to your web module's /WEB-INF/lib directory
    iii. Add the following elements to your web module's web.xml file:
    <jsp-config>
    <taglib>
    <taglib-uri>http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core</taglib-uri>
    <taglib-location>/WEB-INF/c.tld</taglib-location>
    </taglib>
    <taglib>
    <taglib-uri>http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/fmt</taglib-uri>
    <taglib-location>/WEB-INF/fmt.tld</taglib-location>
    </taglib>
    </jsp-config>
    OR
    2) Copy the standard.jar and jstl.jar libraries from the JSTL implementation you're using to $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/jsp/lib/taglib

  • Found tag library, no jsp-tag-lib manifest entry

    I get the following error when trying to reference my iPlanet tag libraries:

    Yes sorry, you're correct. The uri I mentioned is just 1.0.
    Do you have the "Oracle WebLogic Web App Extension" Facet for your web project? If not, try adding that and making sure that there is a weblogic.xml file created in the WEB-INF dir. The weblogic.xml file allows you to deploy usig a shared lib for JSTL. It should contain a library-ref element something like the following, with a version of 1.1.
    <wls:library-ref>
    <wls:library-name>jstl</wls:library-name>
    <wls:specification-version>1.1</wls:specification-version>
    <wls:exact-match>true</wls:exact-match>
    </wls:library-ref>

  • Web Service Endpoint URI expected. Not found endpoint with URI /wssproc

    Hi All,
    We are following the steps mentioned here http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/ea/c91141e109ef6fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm to configure the message level security in our new PI 7.1 system.
    We have created the RFC destination with prefix /wssproc/plain?style=document. But when we test the RFC connectioon, we get the following error message:
    Status HTTP Response     404
    Status Text     Not Found
    And response body is: Web Service Endpoint URI expected. Not found endpoint with URI /wssproc.
    Are we missing a configuration point? Do we need to create the endpoint manually? And if yes, how?

    Well, in addition to the 404 message I get the following error as well (i.e. if I go to the link http://<server>:<port>/wssproc/plain?style=document)
    Web Service Endpoint URI expected. Not found endpoint with URI /wssproc.

    very much appreciate your immediate help and advice.Thanks a lot in advance. very much appreciate it.
    pisam.

    Hi Pisam,
    Is your query got resolved ,if not have you created the endpoint proper in the soamanager after selecting your service.
    "Web Service Endpoint URI expected not found endpoint..' implies that endpoint is not created properly ,, so suggest you to delete the exsiting if any  endpoints and recreated and then test with WSnavigator.
    post if you have same error again ...

    The internal error: "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver"
    is stating it can't find your driver jar file on the classpath. You'll need to check that you've included your Database driver in the list of libraries on your classpath.

  • JSP Tag libs with struts Urgent

    Hi
    Has anyone implemanted jsp tag libs with the help of struts-bean.tld,struts-html.tld etc,

    Also has anyone implemanted jsp templates if so kindly guide me thru these

    Hi..
    I am myself involved in implementing custom taglibs extending struts functionality. This can be done by extending the struts base classes and tag handlers. If you're still working on this topic, please let me know and we might share experiences.
    Best regards,.

    I have some doubts about how to work with JSP Tags in iws6. What should I do to get this work?
    The tag lib is gotten from jakarta project and I'd like to know which steps i have to follow.
    Thank you very much

    Hi,
    What you have to do is this:
    - Include the jar file in the WEB-INF/lib
    - Include the tld file in a directory under WEB-INF, for example tlds
    - Create a mapping in the deployment descriptor (web.xml), to make the taglib available, something like this:
    <taglib>
    <taglib-uri>http://jakarta.apache.org/taglibs/io</taglib-uri>
    <taglib-location>/WEB-INF/tlds/io.tld</taglib-location>
    </taglib>
    Then in the jsp, you have to invoke it like this:
    <%@ taglib uri="http://jakarta.apache.org/taglibs/io" prefix="io" %>
    <io:http url="http://mustang:4004/NASApp/fortune/fortune" action="GET"/>
    Hope this helps

  • Connection to CRX via RMI and getting WeakReference value..... with an exception!

    Hi there,
    I have the following problem.
    I opened a ticket in Day Care Support system, about CRX users/group membership that got lost while synchronization with our LDAP server.
    Although when the user and the group had been created (and therefore taken from that same LDAP server), the membership was good.... but after some time the membership got lost......
    So what i am trying to do now is a Java program that connects to CRX via RMI.
    And gets the list of all the users from a group (aka membership).
    The idea is to monitor the membership each seconds.
    But when trying to get the property "rep:members" of the group, I have the following exception :
    javax.jcr.ValueFormatException: Unknown value type 10
              at org.apache.jackrabbit.rmi.server.ServerObject.getRepositoryException(ServerObject.java:13 9)

              at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:611)
              at sun.rmi.server.UnicastServerRef.dispatch(UnicastServerRef.java:322)"
    I searched a little bit and found that "10" is the number for type WeakReference.
    That's normal to me because memberships are stored in the group as a list reference to users linked to that group....
    Anyways, what's not normal to me is that when the type is "10" the API does not let me get the Value (cf. ServerProperty.getValues() method)
    Here is the program:

    Greetings All,
    We are getting an error in our application event logs every minute or so and it seems to be causing search queries to fail. Same error is appearing in the ULS logs.

    Doesn't appear to affect the component health status or the crawling process, only the return of search results.
    Sorry, something went wrong.
    Search has encountered a problem that prevents results from being returned.  If the issue persists, please contact your administrator.
    I checked the certificates snapin, didn't see anything out of the ordinary but I have a feeling it goes deeper than that.
    Where can I remove this duplicate certificate? Thanks!

    Open IIS and check server certificates
    Check if there is any certificate applied to Security token service
    Did you used any certificate for web application in site
    Check binding of all web application in IIS
    Try to browse
    servername/0c98374520dc4b748d92a1e51b365dce/SearchService.svc from all servers, check the certificate details
