No trumpet and trombone solo in the Orchestra pack?

I am recording my orchestra piece in Logic 8 with the Orchestra jam pack and can't find the trumpet and trombone (legato/stacc) solo instruments. Don't tell me they are not included! If not, anyone knows a way to get these instruments without buying again a new instrument pack?

If that's the same Jam Pack that one uses for GarageBand, then I don't think they're in there. At least, I can't find them.

i have one more query, I have orchestration published as wcf service in IIS and internally orchestration calling one more service , it means orchestration sending a request and getting response back from the service.
actually we are implementing the copy of that called service through biztalk orchestration for system automatic and tracking failed messages and n/w failures.
But tracking profiler not tracking the Data.
And we need to develop the http service as https(Over SSL), we implemented in iis using self
signed certificate, it is working just browser for wsdl(in browser), we are not able to test the service in wcf test client, it is giving wsdl error, in wsdl schema reference showing with HTTP only,
please help me how to resolve the issue.

First things first, I think it's best to publish only schemas as WCF service for dependency management reasons. That said - WSDL availability is covered in the WCF adapter under the behaviors. If you're using HTTPBasic this may be hard to modify, but using
WCFCustom allows you to add the WSDL behavior and specify that it should be available via HTTPS.
As to the BAM, are you using TPE within the orchestration or at the port level? I'd imagine your TPE tracks the start and end events of your orchestration using the Orchestration Schedule. If you're fairly confident that the TPE is correct and
yet don't see BAM data 1) make sure your SQL Agent is running healthy and all jobs look OK and 2) check the TDDS tables in both the message box and the BAMPrimaryImport databases. These will show you if there has been some sort of sync issue. There's
even a TDDS errors tables - so check that out.

Pass parameter to included page and read it in the included packing bean

i have a page include in adf page (main.jspx include body.jspx) and i send a parameter to the included page ,and the included page has a request scope backing bean ,and in the constructor for this backing bean i tried to read the parameter , how can i get the included parameter "userId" in the backingbean which is realted to body page i.e(i want to pass the userid parameter to the body backing bean),the following is my code.

Sitting Solo Trumpet or Trumpet Section in the Orchestra

Hi,
This is a multi-setup question. Anyone with Logic Pro can set things up
exactly as I have them, for this question.
The first part of the set-up is to locate the Apple Solo Trumpet and
assign it to an audio instrument. So, after bringing up the EXS24,
select Factory > O5 Horns & Woodwinds > Trumpet.
Now, obtain two free solo trumpets (which will be a part of this question)
by going to

and doesnload at least these two:
trumpet_sus.rar
trumpetvib_susrar
then "un-rar" these, and make these two sample instruments
available to EXS24. Then, load each of them into their on
audio instrument.
Set things up so that when you press a key on your keyboard,
you hear with two trumpets acting as a section (preferably
Eastgate's two trumpets for this test), or, with a bit of fiddling,
you press a key and hear all three trumpets playing in unison.
Also, for the Apple trumpet, go into EXS24 and edit it,
deleting both the group "Trumpet f slu" and its associated
zones, then changing group "trumpet f ln" so that it responds
to Select Range of 0 thru 127. Then save as a new sample
instrument (I used the title "Apple Better Trumpet".
At this stage, every one has the same, three instruments that
will be a part of this question.
Now, take the outputs from these three audio instruments and connect
their lines to a bus. Then, send the bus output to output 1-2.

Hi,
The reason I ask the above question, is that, in general, it would be
ideal if I could take solo trumpet samples, such as in this example,
and also use them to construct two trumpets playing in unison,
or three trumpets playing in unison. And, make it sound as close
to "professional" as possible.
In this way, similar techniques can be used for the French Horns and
the trombones.
The upshot being that I would not need to use settings which say,
"Trumpets" or "Horns" or "Trombones", because at this stage,
given my limited resources, I do not necessarily know how many
trumpets are actually playing a given line (for instance, I have
SAM free trumpets and I have Pro Sessions Brass, and they do not
specify how many instruments are playing a given note, and sometimes
it appears that the number of instruments playing gets quite large
when the dynamic for the SAM free trumpets is increased).
And, I do want to know exactly how many brass instruments are playing
and control this, so that when I form chords using a mixture of
brass instruments, with some brass instruments doubling the same
note, that the effect mimics reality as far as chord balance goes. In this,
tool, Logic Pro, and a sufficient set of solo brass samples, could
be used as a neat learning tool (such as making sure that in forte,
two French Horns double a note when the other notes are taken singly
by Trombones and Trumpets, and the like). Although, there are other
concerns with forming brass chords, so Logic Pro potentially becomes
a neat test bed for more unusual set-ups and configurations of complex
brass chords.
Also, of course, I'd like a solo brass instrument to sound more realistic
and "not in your face".

AlexCarey, I've been having issues purchasing recently and place a number of calls to the support team. On Oct. 5th, and on my own decision, I went into my itunes profile and re-entered my credit card expiration date and security code. (Notice, it is not displayed for safety measures.) Today, I received an email from Apple support verifying if I made changes made to my account. For the heck of it, I logged back into itunes; click "Buy". The lower transmit frequency limit is in there to make the device meet FCC regulations.. that is a regulation imposed of US regions and, to a lesser extent, Latin american regions that border with the US.
In addition, you'll be pleased to know that the N900 will not use certain European WiFi channels if a) the sim card is removed or b) the phone has a sim card but is OUT of 3G coverage.. again, to make the device meet FCC regulations.. (seriously.. when you go out of 3G coverage, the kernel reports it is switching from EU wifi to US wifi!!)

Can DISABLE preProcess Event Handler add to the Orchestration parameters?

I have a DISABLE pre-process event handler defined on the User object. I need to set the current date on a USR UDF attribute whenever the user is disabled or enabled or created. The CREATE handler works and the date value shows up on the user profile. However, when I try to set this attribute on the pre-process DISABLE or ENABLE event handlers, the new date does not show up. Here is the code I am using in my DISABLE/ENABLE event handler:

orchestration.addParameter(USER_STATUS_DATETIME_ATTR_NAME, currentTime);
Where the orchestration object is from the execute() parameter list.
Any ideas as to why this is not working? Is adding to the orchestration not allowed for DISABLE or ENABLE event handlers? I know my handler is getting calls as I am logging the orchestration.getOperation() value.

When you update the field, make sure you are using the field label name, and not the UDF value.

Exception Handling in Maps without Suspending the Orchestration Instance.

Hi,
Is there any way to handle Exceptions inside Maps so that the Orchestration Instance doesnot get suspended.
The map can be an Inbound or Outbound map. Orchestration needs to continue processing/sending other messages in sequence even if one message transformation failed.
Any information/pointers in this regard are highly appreciated. Thanks.

You can subscribe to the failed messages. When a failed message is generated, BizTalk Server promotes error-report-related
message context properties and demotes regular message context properties before publishing the failed message. Compare this to the default behavior when failed message routing is not enabled: Messages that fail are suspended.
You can subscribe to the failed messages via an orchestration.

Can we receive EDI as a String through WCF in to the orchestration receive location

Hi,
I had expose the orchestration as WCF service. Now i want to send the EDI file using WCF client to the receive location. So that my EDI file goes into the orchestration receive port and i would get the XML on the Send port.
How i can achieve this? Please correct me if i am wrong.

If you have exposed Orchestration as WCF service. And to test the process you can use test clients like
WCFStrom,
SOAPUI.
With these test clients, when you add service reference to the URL of you WCF service (or provide the WSDL file) , these tools would read the contracts of the
WCF and would provide an interface through which you can send the input parameter as expected by your exposed Orchestration.
If your Orchestration (which is exposed as WCF service) is configured to receive EDI files, when you provide URL reference of the WCF service to the test clients
(like WCFStrom, SOAPUI ), these test client would
read the WSDL and would provide an interface for you to enter the data for the EDI. Look the following image of an WCFStrom which is expecting a sample schema (in your case, it would be the schema for WDI)
So when you post a message using
test clients, it would post the message to the WCF service. You would have got a Receive Location configured with WCF-based adapter (you get this when you
import the binding which got created when you used the BizTalk WCF service publishing Wizard) which is bounded to orchestration (which is exposed as WCF) would receive the posted message and orchestration would process the posted message and you can see the
output in send port as you have configured..

Anyway, if your Mac meets the requirements you can skip 10.5.x, and even 10.6.x if you can afford to erase all your data.

The Project with the Connection to the Oracle database throws the error in the Orchestration. Dont know what mistake I made.The Orchestration is like this,

Common cause for this error anyone of the following:
The Application made reference to another Application that contained one schema with same namespace#rootnode name
The Application as different resources (dll) that contained more than one schema with same namespace#rootnode name
Schema defined by namespace#rootnode does not exist (not my case, because it was deployed)
You have XML-Tramit pipeline in the send port so the XML assembler would try to recognize the schema which it tries to send,but while doing so it can't load/find the schema. Anyone of the above could cause this issue. I doubt more towards, 2nd point
where you may have more than one schema with namespace#rootnode name or it could any of the above reasons..check the sachems deployed.

This won't be real-time as you record, but you could tweak the EQ in real-time after the recording thus:
Record what you want to tweak into GB with no effects.
Solo the track and output it into something like Audacity.
Start Audacity recording, then play your track in GB as you make those tweaks. That's what Audacity will record.
Get that file from Audacity and put it into GB, then you'll have that effect.
Sorry if it's complicated, but that's what came to mind. Hope it works.

My MacBook was acting weird like sometimes I would log on and I wouldn't be able to type my password for a couple seconds,but it usually logged in after that. Then I left my computer open after installing the recent update after that all my applications were not responding. So I shut it down, when I turned it back on about an hour later it went to this loading screen and then to the login like usual. After I tried logging in a white screen flashed and it went back to the login/ password screen like nothing happened. Any ideas on what happened and what I can do to fix it?

If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. I was able copy the hardrive of my old macbook from "My Passport" onto the desktop on an older iMac. but i dont know how to make my hardrive and user name be the main one since someone had used it in the past and had their info on the comp. please help!

I recently broke my 2008 macbook. i was able to use an external hardrive to back up my data onto My Passport. I was going to buy a new computer but a friend told me sher had an older version of the iMac. (not sure how old but it doesnt have a camera if that helps) i was able to hook it up and turn it on but i ran into a few problems. 1) the "authentic" user or whatever it says is someone who previously used the computer. i added me as a user but im not sure how to make me the main user. 2) after hooking up My Passport, i was able to drag my files and copy them to the desktop.(i think i did it correctly) now, i dont know how to make my hard drive and applications and iformation the "main " info. The current apps on the iMac are super old versions of iTunes and iPhoto and such. 3) while trying to open the apps from my macbook on the iMac, it said it didnt have the right software to open these apps.
I am so computer illiterate so someone please help!!! Also, i do not have internet in my new apartment yet so if there is a way to make this happen without using the internet that would be preferred. sorry for the horrible spelling and poorly written paragraph.

You are not going to be able to run your old system from the backup on this old computer as the hardware is incompatible.
You need to get a new computer or a refurbished one.
