It seems that problem is in nodemanager native library :

Just modify the NativeVersionEnabled property to false in nodemanager.properties file, that will solve the pb. If you dont have a property in nodemanager.properties file add one.

Start-up problem with the Z10

Can you assist us in a Start-up problem with the Z10's.
I have read a lot of complains with the Z10 starting-up and then got stuck at 98% completion. No further response after that!

I see that there have been similar problems with Events disappearing especially in Month View. I wondered how print preview seemrd to be picking everything up deleted or not, and what the solution may be?. First time of Posting. I hope I haven't embarassed myself.

At the very least there must be a "com.apple.ical.plist"...iCal would not function without it.
Click on the Finder icon in the dock
Click on Go > Home
Double-click Library
Double-click Preferences
Look for a file called "com.apple.ical.plist" and remove it to the trash.

Usually your problem can be described with 'Who cares'. I mean, for what reason do you do this? I doubt that there's a business need to get 100 % accurate answers for this. Normally such things are used to get a picture about the growth of data.
Personally I would prefer to have up-to-date statistics for all tables and just query the number of rows from there. Sufficient for me in < 99 % of all cases.

JMF with Native Libraries as Signed Applet

After spending a few days hunting through forums, digging into JMF source code and hacking in the dark I'm about to give up, but thought I'd start yet another thread on this. It's a long, sad story...
Problem: Deploying a JMF based program that relies on native libraries (in this case the FOBS4JMF bindings) as an applet: how to get jmf.properties and the native libraries loaded properly.
Partial Solution: the native libraries packaged in a signed jar file, added to the applet's archive property, extracted using getResourceAsStream(), and loaded using System.load(). This is how FOBS4JMF loads it's native library anyway (via the com.moesol.NativeLibraryFinder):

(a) JMF (com.media.util.Registry) only searches for jmf.properties (which contains the instructions to use the FOBS4JMF plugin) in real folders (i.e. not jars) on the classpath of the local machine. I could extract the jmf.properties to a folder on the local machine, but have no way of making sure that folder would be on the classpath. Calls to "System.getProperty("java.class.path") give varying results - including an empty string on FF/OSX. Even if i could get the classpath somehow, chances are that it wouldn't contain any folders writable under Vista's UAC, which would leave me out of luck.
JMF also looks for a file called ".jmfdir" in various platform specific locations, and appends the contents of this file to the classpath, so if i could write to that file i'd be golden. This seems like it would work on non windows platforms, because JMF looks for that in "user.home"). However, from what i can tell, on windows, JMF uses a native call to a function called nGetUserHome() to determine where to find .jmfdir - which leads to the second problem...
(b) the JMF native libraries are loaded through calls to System.loadLibrary(), not System.load(), which means that they have to be on the "java.library.path" in order to be found - and again, I have no way of extracting the libraries to a directory on that path (at least not one writable under Vista UAC). This wouldn't be a problem, as I could pre-load the libraries myself with System.load(), except that JMF throws an exception if it can't find one, and stops trying to do whatever it thinks it needs the library for. Again, not a problem if I use only the FOBS4JMF native code (though i would like to use the DirectAudio renderer on windows) - except that the nGetUserHome() function described above is in a native library (jmutil.dll). So, when com.media.util.Registry.getJMFDir() tries to find ".jmfdir" it first tries to load "jmutil.dll" using System.loadLibrary(). This throws an exception inf "jmutil.dll" is not on the "java.library.path", and com.media.util.Registry.getJMFDir() returns null. Here's the relevant code from com.media.util.Registry.getJMFDir() - with my annotations
All of these problems are fixable by relatively minor tweaks to the JMF source - but I don't think that's allowed under the SCSL. So if anyone has any, i mean ANY other suggestions, please BRING 'EM ON.

EDIT: just for kicks, i checked to see where JMF expects to find .jmfdir on windows - ie the result of nGetUserHome(). At least on XP this seems to be c:\WINDOWS. if it's the same on Vista, then fixing the loadLibrary problem won't help bc I still won't be able to write to this file.

As far as the natives go, you might try using the new JNLP embedded applet ability in the plugin2 architecture.I was going to look into that, but decided it wasn't necessary since I can get the FOBS native code to link properly. It's really the registry that's the problem, since without solving that I can't get JMF to USE the FOBS code.
Can you get it all to work if the JMF installer is invoked? If so, perhaps if you add an installer-desc that calls the normal JMF setup.exe (though that final warning to reboot is both unnecessary and odious).I don't think it would work even with the JMF installer, bc I need to point JMF at the FOBS specific jmf.properties. I might be get it to work by invoking my own installer though, to place my jmf.properties somewhere in the native class path, so that's worth looking at. Thank you. Problem there is that on Vista users would have to elevate to run the applet, which is not ideal.necessary and odious).
Why do you particularly want to embed media in a web page?The customer may want it. I might be able to convince them to go with JNLP/WebStart, but I think I might have the same problem there. Please correct me if I'm wrong...
I've also read that there are problems with JMF and JNLP owing to the fact that JMF doesn't recognize the security manager invoked by JNLP, and so gives your program no permissions. Haven't tried it myself yet.

Slow in start-up + problems with Entourage

Since I have installed Mac OS X Lion I do have some problems.
My Macbook Pro doesn't start up as fast as he used with previous Mac version, how come? I unchoose the box to re-open programs at start-up.
Another thinhg, from time to time my Entourage (2008) needs to be closed to sent a problem report to Microsoft, before Mac OS X Lion I had no problems with this.
Will there be soon an update which fixes all these bugs?

I doubt you will like this suggestion, but since you installed a new drive I would recommend doing this:
Extended Hard Drive Preparation
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger or Leopard.)
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID (for Intel Macs) or APM (for PPC Macs) then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
Reinstall Snow. If you continue to have problems it could be got a slightly defective DVD or you may have marginal RAM.

Problem with native SQL cursor in generic data source

I am implementing generic data source based on FM.
Because of complicated SQL I canu2019t use Open SQL and RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_SIMPLE-example u201Cas isu201D.
So, I have to use Native SQL. But Iu2019ve got a problem with a cursor. When I test my data source in RSA3, everything is Ok. But, if I start appropriate info-package, I get error u201CABAP/4 processor: DBIF_DSQL2_INVALID_CURSORu201D. It happens after selecting of 1st data package in line u201CFETCH NEXT S1 INTOu2026u201D. It seems to me that when system performs the second call of my FM the opened cursor has already been disappeared.
Did anyone do things like this and what is incorrect?

I don't think this SQL is very valuable It is just an aggregation with some custom rules. This aggregation is performing on info-provider which consists of two info-cubes. Here we have about 2 billion records in info-provider and about 30 million records in custom db-table Z_TMP (certainly, it has indexes). I have to do this operation on 21 info-providers like this and I have to do this 20 times for each info-provider (with different values of host-variable p_GROUP)

Forms/Designer 10g - problem with attached libraries

I've problem with forms with attached libraries. All of libraries have removed paths. I can run all forms without any problem on my local application server from Forms Builder 9i or Designer 9i. I added all paths in registry FORMS90_PATH. WORKINGDIRECTORY in formsweb.cfg is blank.
Unfortunately I can't do it with Developer 10g on second workstation. I added all paths in registry FORMS_PATH. WORKINGDIRECTORY in formsweb.cfg is blank too. When form is running I get ORA-06508. I can't store all files (fmb, fmx, pll, plx etc.) in one folder because I've to use CVS. In this case I can't set any folder in WORKINGDIRECTORY.

Assuming Forms 10.1.2.x, FMX, MMX, PLX, and OLB files are found based on the value of FORMS_PATH which is set in default.env and not the Registry. This applies to runtime only. The Builder uses the Registry.
Understand that "runtime" refers to any time a form is displayed in a browser, regardless of whether is was started from the Builder or Application Server.
Also, be aware that if you have FMX, MMX, or PLX files which were created in older versions they must be recompiled using the 10.1.2 compiler.

Problems with gtk libraries?

I installed arch and lxde on a Aspire one, but I have some problem with different software. The main example is the image viewer: gpicview crashes when I open an image (for a segmentation fault). So I installed Mirage to see if it's a problem due to only gpicview. I can start Mirage, but when I open an image from the open menu, it says that it can not load the picture and there is a small red "x" in the window right part for the image. So I tried with xzgv: it starts but the right part of the window remains always empty, while I can navigate in folders through the left part of the windows. Feh instead works. I have a similar problem with xsmbrowser: it starts but I can't interact with the buttons and text fields present in the windows.
Gpicview, mirage and xzgv use GTK libraries: may the problem be with these lib? They are installed but maybe something is missing...
May I need gtk-engine? I searched about but I found that it's used for the theme. Or it's necessary for any software based on gtk? But if it's necessary with gpicview (default viewer for lxde) why wouldn't it be already present?

I started the applications through the terminal:
- mirage: the only message is a deprecation warming for the use of md5 instead of hashlib, but I think nothing important. No message added opening the image. I made a screenshot using mirage (giving a .png image) and it can open this. But when I try to open the other images (.pnm made with luvcview), it opens always this png screenshot (that is: if there are other images, opens those, else nothing). Remark: the preview in the open menu shows the effective pnm image.
- gpicview: it opens the png file but get the segmentation fault on the pnm
- xzgv: opens other images but pnm file doesn't exists for him
So I think it's likely a image format problem (but openoffice draw can open pnm).
- xsmbrowser tells that he wants the tcl version 8.5 exactly and not the 8.5.5 that I have. There is a 8.5.0 in the AUR, maybe I'll try removing 8.5.5 and installing 8.5.0.......
So there shouldn't be problems with gtk...
Moreover in dmesg now I have:

WINXP start up problems with Satellite M30

My M30 has worked fine for two years until a few days ago when it suddenly would't restart after running a Microsoft Security Update. It gave me different options of starting in safe mode, normally, etc., but none of them would work.
I have been told that if I use my recovery DVD. it will wipe clean my hard drive and with it all my files. I understand that my WINXP software is on this DVD - I certainly haven't got a separate disk. Is it true that I will not be given the option to try and repair or heal the problem and if this is the case will I need to purchase an WINXP OEM and install this separately? Or should I be doing something else completely?
Any help anyone can give me would be much appreciated.

Did you tried to set your windows to a earlier point of your "system-recovery-point" which appears with that options -> boot in safe mode - boot in safe mode with network - etc.etc..
It this fails, then you have to recover your whole system.
At first, its true: you cannot heal or repair your system with the recovery dvd, you can just reinstall your whole system and than you have a operating-system like on the first day after you purchased that machine.
So your only choice will be to reinstall your system to fix that and to avoid installing EVERY update from Microsoft because I had many problems with some updates which causes my machine to do some things like no-boot or that some software crashes. Its better to stay informed about that updates and install them just after you verified that the update isnt affecting your system stability or performance.
To backup your files and to recover your system you will have to do following things:
You said your system is not booting up, but you need your files.
Just take a UBCD4Win (http://www.ubcd4win.com/) from Internet and boot up with this CD. You will get access to your files with this WindowsPE on CD and you will have the chance to backup your needed data on a USB-harddrive or to burn your stuff on CD.
Now you have to boot the recovery cd and just let the automated install-script do the rest. It will delete your whole harddisk and reinstall the system. After that you can put the saved data back to your harddisk.

Start-up problem with my Nokia 6630 series

Hi everyone! I'm new in the community. Please could anyone help with a problem I have with my 6630. I had just finished charging it and when put it on and tried to access an sms that came in the inbox was not accessible! Then I switched the phone off and later put it on only to get a shocker message which read -" phone start-up failed. Contact the retailer". I contacted the retailer who suggested I that the phone should be switched off again and later switched on. I have done this for the umpteenth time without success! Any one with an idea on how to solve this problem please. I will appreciate your urgent help. Thank you all.

Dear friend, the start-up problem I had with my nokia 6630 has been solved! I switched off the phone, removed the memory card and powered on. The phone to my surprise came alive. I switched it off again and reinserted the memory card before switching on again and lo and behold, my 6630 was up and kicking again! if anyone should have a similar problem, he of she should try what I did, i hope it works for others in similar situation.

Can't start laptop - problems with automatic repair, need acces to admin account but there is none. HELP! :(

I'm having problems with my windows 8 laptop.
This afternoon I shut it down, and went to work. A few hours later when I came back home I noticed the little blue lights on the keyboard (showing me that the pc was charging and that my wifi is on) were still on. Normally these are off when the pc is turned
off.
I tried starting the laptop but nothing happened, the screen stayed black. I held down the 'on' button to force it to turn off, and turned it on again.
I then got a textmessage on the startup loading screen that there were problems with my C drive (only drive the laptop has), so it went to automatic repair.
*my laptop's language is set to Dutch so I'm translating everything :)*
It gave me 2 options:
1: Restart computer
2: Advanced options.
I tried option 1, didnt work ofcourse, it just restarted and I got back to this screen, so I checked what option 2 had to offer.
I got to a screen with 3 options:
1: Continue to windows 8
2: Solve Problems
3: Shut down
When I tried option 1 the computer just restarted and went back to the same screen.
When I tried option 3 it shut down as it should.
Option 2 gave me 3 other options:
1: Renew PC
2: Factory reset
3: advanced options
Option 1 just restarted my pc and took me back to screen 1.
Option 2 I havent tried yet, because it erases all of my files. This is a last resort.
Option 3 gave me 6 other options:
1: Systemrepair
2: Repair with installationcopy
3: Startuprepair
4: CMD
5: UEFI firmware settings
6. Startupsettings.
I can't use option 1,2,3,4 because I need to log in to an administratoraccount.
The bad part is: the laptop doesn't have an administratoraccount.
It was my parents laptop, and theyve set it up. I always assumed the account was an admin because
I had acces to everything and didn't need a password to run things as admin and such.
Turns out it isn't.
I get this message (translated) when I try to acces one of these:
'You have to log in as administrator to continue, but this pc doesn't have an administratoraccount'.
I can't believe microsoft added a check to see if the pc has an admin account on it, and even added a specific message to show when it doesn't, but they didnt add the option to just use these tools when there is no admin account present? What were they thinking!
Option 5 I havent tried yet, when I click it it says I have to restart to acces these settings, but I dont want to mess with something I know nothing about.
Option 6 gives me a few options like run the pc in safety mode, run windows repair and disable auto-restart after something has gone wrong with windows. But when I select one of these options it doesnt work. It just takes me back to auto repair. It just doesn't
doe anything.
There are no other options. Nothing I can do. My pc is stuck like this. The only thing I *might* be able to do is a factory reset, but I havent tried, and that could also just give me an error about me not being admin.
Some backstory of what I think caused this problem:
I believe the problems started a week ago, last friday.
I'm using a program called 'AVG TuneUp'. This program gave me a message telling me it was 3 months since it had checked my C drive for defects or anything. And it asked me if I wanted it to do so. Unknowing of the problems that would follow, I pressed 'ok'
(or whatever it was).
I had to restart my pc for it to begin, because it could only check the drive during startup. It went to 12% and stayed there for like half an hour, after which I decided to google (on my phone) if that was normal. It turned out that that option doesn't work
well with windows 8 and that lots of people's computers got ruined after using it. I stressed and I tried to shut it down, but since I was still in startup the only thing I could do was force the pc to shut down, so I held down the power button and it shut
down. I restarted and managed to abort the proces. The laptop started fine and everything worked.
A few days later a game/program I use called League of Legends started to act weird, because I could not log in on my account (for the game) anymore. Some error with IE settings, which I was unable to fix. Although I doubt it will help.
That forum post also contains a link to a post I made on the Steam forum about not being able to log into steam anymore. (Steam is another program I used). I wasn't able to log into steam anymore about 1-2 days after I wasn't able to log into LoL.
Also at the same time my Norton sortof stopped working. It showed up as active in my task manager and AVG TuneUp program manager, but it wasn't in my task bar and I couldnt acces the control panel.
Then yesterday I checked my pc for errors with AVG TuneUp's 1-click maintenance tool, and it told me my C drive was fragmented badly, so I defragmented it using the tool. Laptop still worked fine after that.
And then today I got the error on startup about my C drive having errors.
Long story shot: Problem is probably caused because I stopped the repair of my C drive with the avg tuneup tool before it was done, however its weird that I'm only experiencing (big) problems a week after that happened.
Hardware info:
It's a Samsung Ativ book 6 (google it for all the specs :) )
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
CPU: intel 3230M @ 2.60 gHz
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 8850M
HDD: 1 TB S-ATAII hard disc

Perhaps the operating system is incorrectly powering down or shifting the wireless adapter to a low power state in order to improve run time while on battery?
Try going into the Device Manager (filename: DEVMGMT.MSC), locate the wireless adapter under the Network Adapters tree, view its Properties, and on the Power Management tab, disable (un-check) the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option.
Please let us know if that makes any difference (or not).

Problem with native ldapsearch in Solaris 10

someone could tell me please why native ldapsearch in Solaris 10 do not work with SSL connection when same command comes with Sun Directory Server 5.2 works perfectly ?
With native ldapsearch in Solaris 10, I get the error message "Can't contact LDAP server":

Start up problem with macbook pro

i have a problem with my macbook. when i start up the macbook after pressing power button it turns on with apple logo and then convert into a stop sign (like a circle with slash ).it does not proceed further .what should i do ??
