Nokia 2760 security code forgotten

Hello I put a security code on my Nokia 2760 and I have not used it some time (4 months) because I do not have money to put credit on my SIM card .
And now I am trying to use the phone and I can not use it, it ask me for security code and I do not know it anymore.
What I should do please help me?Thanks in advance for your answers. And sorry my mistakes in writing.
I do not have an USB cable I did not received one when I bought my phone.

We are really sorry for this inconvenience.
In order to fix this issue, I would advise you to visit your local nokia care point. Your phone will be reseted to the default code "12345".

Nokia 7373 - Security Code Forgotten

Hi,
I can't perform a master reset on my phone or delete contacts from the phone as I seem to have forgotten my security code (although I do still know my PIN so can access and use the phone). So far I have tried the following codes:
0000
1111
12345
and the one that was generated by my IMEI number from another website
...but each time I get a "Code Error" message. I phoned Orange and they told me that you can't change the Security Code yourself and that it must be 1111 or 12345 but obviously these don't work and Orange are wrong. Any help would be much appreciated as I want to give the phone to my sister as I've recently had an upgrade.

The default security code is 12345. If that does not work then someone has changed it.
The ONLY way to reset this code is at a nokia care point. They may charge for the service and you may lose all data from the phones memory.
They will also need to see proof of purchase/ownership before they will do it.

Nokia 2760 Security code

So, I tried security code and it worked fine. I had changed it a year ago or something and now I tried the Keypad lock security code-thing. It asked the security code so I could do it. I entered it there and it worked. Then, I began to wonder if it is like PIN-code, can you try it more than 3 times. I found out that you can. But now it doesn't accept the real code anymore and I can't unlock the keypad. What to do?

For SIM lock once the no. of attempts are over, you need the PUK code (Operator's help) to unlock it.. Regarding the phone lock, I think if you have certain no. of unsuccessfull attempt you need to wait for some 15 minutes to try again..

The Nokia default security code is 12345. If you have changed it at any point you will have to take your phone into a Nokia Authorized Service point and have them reset it for you

Forgotten Nokia C3 Security code Help me!

Are you refering to your sim pin or the phones security code? 3 wrong attempts with the sim pin will require the PUK code to unlock. PUK is available from your service provider. Th unlock code , on the other hand should only be reset by a Nokia Care Point. They will probably require proof of purchase before doing so for you.

Nokia 6300 security code

can any one help me in finding default "call barring password"
i read the FAQ of nokila web site for model 6300 it says default security code for nokia 6300 is "12345" where as when i try to activate call barring service it asks for " barring password" and takes only 4 digits please help me in finding the call barring password thanks

On a serious note.
If you have forgotten the code then you need to take it to a Nokia Care Point where they are able to remove it for you.
They will also remove all personal data stored on the phone at the same time as it needs completely erasing.
You will usually need a proof of purchase to prove the phone isnt stolen and you are trying to access it, and they will probably charge you for it as its not a warranty fault.

Help. Nokia C7 lock code forgotten

I bought a Nokia C7 2 weeks ago..I changed the security code but I forgot it...I am in a big trouble now every time I try to open it..It demands the security code...Please help what can I do?

There is no way to retrieve your security code if you have forgotten it.
Its down to the fact that is a security function, and would be useless if anyone could simply override it.
The only people who can reset this for you would be a Nokia Care point.
You will have to pay for the service, as it is not a warranty fault.

Nokia Belle upgrade on Nokia X7 - Security Code er...

I have just upgraded to Belle software but now there is an annoying thing were I keep getting asked for a security code (which I hadn't used previously) on boot up, if you put the default code in it fails(12345,00000), but if you cancel you can still operate the phone normally.
Very odd...Anyone have any fixes for this?

If you bought the phone new and the default 12345 does not work, then the security code should be in the papers you received with the phone or maybe printed on the box.
If you bought it second hand then the previous owner should be able to help you.
Otherwise you'll have to take the phone to your nearest Nokia Care Point with proof that you are its owner (invoice in your name with the phone's IMEI number, and photo ID) and they'll be able to reset the security code for you. Do a backup before having this done because it might entail a full reset of the phone, which will erase all your data.
Alternatively, you could attempt a firmware update with Nokia Software Updater. A firmware update often resets the security code back to the factory default (but not on all models).

Nokia 6230i security code

i have a nokia 6230i. 1 month old bought on 02 pay as you go. but have been using my contract 02 sim in it. now i have decided to use the pay as you go sim because bills are to high. put the pay and go sim in the phone and its coming up security code. iv tried the default number 12345 but it wont unlock. the security code has not been changed.
it works with any other sim card in it apart from the one it came wiv. can you help?

You have to wait 15 minutes if you have tried three times before you entered 12345. It locks.

Nokia 1208 security code

While i was using my Nokia 1208 last night, it spontaneously turned off. When i turned it back on and typed in my PIN, it requested a security code. The default 12345 wouldn t work and i have never changed the code. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me and the first time it was just impossible to fix it so i bought a new 1. Can some please help or post of you have had a similar problem!

if the default code is not 12345 the operator must have changed it try calling them
try removing battery for ten minutes 1st then repeat the proccess if that fails call operator
or try the following
1. Get the phone reflashed.
2. On some phones the reset function will also reset the code to 12345.
You could try the second option but no guarantees it will work on your phone. Also, you may lose all your data if you reset the phone so remember to back it up before resetting.
Always remember to backup your phone before performing resets as your data may be lost.
First try these
*#7780# - Restore factory settings - resets all the settings to the default
*#7370# - Reformat your phone

Hi.Does anybody know what to do if I forgot the security code number and the system is locked on Nokia 9300i ?The phone is usless.I tried the master code but it does not work at this problem.

If google or searching this forum offers no solutions then your only option at this stage is to take the phone to a nokia care point along with proof of ownership.

Nokia 500 Security code error

Yesterday I switched on my Nokia 500 with pin code and security code with out any trouble,but after few minutes it restarted and security code is not accepted, ,I can answer the incoming calls, but i cant connect it to nokia suit help me with this ,

Nokia C3 Security Code

I locked my self out of my Nokia C3, I was entering a new Security Code and I miss pressed a button and don't know what my password is. I've been trying for 3 days straight.
I contacted my Provider and they couldn't doing anything for it, because I couldn't retrieve the PUK Number.
So if anyone knows how I can fix this please help!
Also what information do I need to help Nokia fix my problem faster?

The ONLY solution is to visit Nokia Care and get it Reset.. In absence of back-up.. you tend to lose your important data...
