Nokia N8 emails have stopped being "pushed" throug...

Hi, is anyone having any recent problems with emails being pushed through on your Nokia N8. This is the 3rd handset I have had since signing a contract for the first time in August 2011. Just when I thought issues where resolved, now not able to receive or send emails... great!!!

    Check the outgoing mail server settings in your account on the Treo and see if it is set for your yahoo account.
    Make sure it is not set for the Hotmail account.

    If you still have problems, create a new account on the Treo for your yahoo account and delete the current account.

  • My iMac and MacBook Pro have stopped being able to find one another.

    I have been sharing files between my iMac and MacBook Pro.  Recently they have stopped being able to detect one another.  When I look in the sidebar of the Finder window, neither computer shows the other.  I have file sharing enabled for both computers.  This is a recent problem, and I'm not sure what has changed.  I may have updated software - but don't remember what or when, as I tend to automatically do so when an update becomes available.  I would appreciate any help that you can give.

    Thank you.  I had all my settings right - I had checked and double checked.  The one thing I had failed to do - which is the one thing that often helps - is to shut everything down and restart.  I shut the router and the computers down and restarted them one at a time.  They are once more talking to each other.

  • Emails have stopped coming...

    Was prompted to change my password on my computer at work - changed that but now the emails have stopped coming in on the blackberry.  After speaking to AT&T, our network administrator told me to contact Blackberry directly as he cannot figure out how to solve the problem.

    Thank you.  Am I correct to assume when you say "your carriers Blackberry portal" you mean the AT&T Blackberry.net site?  I did do that and it still did not carry through.  I spent about an hour on the phone with AT&T and they couldn't figure it out.  I will try again though unless I am misinterpreting your response.  Thanks again.

  • All my apps including email have stopped working..

      All my apps including email have stopped working..  and i have no idea why this happened a few days ago now and ever since ive noticed that ive no GPSR icon only 3G (sorry if i sound stupid im not very tech savy at all).
    First noticed my apps not working when the normal facebook at twiter wouldnt work and then bbm messages wouldnt send and the same for emails as i havnt been reciveing any and nethier will they send.
    Can anyone help with this?

  • I have not been able to send email for some time but now i have stopped being able to recieve email.

    i have not been able to send emails for some time but in the last two days ive stopped being able to receive, the message says 'username or password incorrect' ive checked all the settings, ive deleated accout and set up again, ive rebooted phone. i tried to sync with pc but this also fails any ideas

    That is correct, They don't seem to know about Mac, never got a single scrap of help from  them.  Try recreating your account from scratch, delete the account, (write down all your settings first) and add an account, see if that works, and if it does, delete the first account to prevent things doubling up on you.  I think that's what I did, it was quite a while ago.  Hope this helps, or gets you pointed in the right direction.  Maybe go to At&t and try creating another account, and if ti works, delete the first.
    One other tihing I did was to reset Safari, as AT&T uses the net, that's about all I can remember, like I said it was awhile ago.

  • Why are my emails not all being pushed to my iphone?

    I just got my iphone 4s (bb conversion) and I setup my pop3 email account and set for push.  i am finding that when my laptop is turned on and my outlook is open, not al of my emails are being pushed to my iphone.  i want all emails to come to my iphone and it's a problem if i leave the office (and the computer on) and i dont see the emails until i get back.
    anyone have a similar problem or know how to fix this?

  • Albums have stopped being accessible

    I've purchased three albums in the last month, one on 6/17, another on 7/12, and the third on 7/15. I've listened to all of them several times previously, and in fact I was listening to the third about ten minutes before the problem occured.
    The problem being: the first and third albums have stopped playing. Actually, I can still play the three music videos that came with the third, but other than that, trying to play any track on either one does nothing. The issue does not exist with the second album. When I try to burn them to a CD, it tells me that I can't do that, because the tracks are not authorized to this computer--the one I purchased them on, and have been listening to them on. I'm logged in to my store account, and I know for a fact that the computer is (or should be) authorized to play them, so I'm at a loss as to what went wrong in the ten minutes between the last time I played them and the point at which they become inaccessible.
    The three albums are Recovering the Satellites by Counting Crows, Icky Thump by The White Stripes, and Give Up by The Postal Service, in that order.
    Any ideas?

    Update: The method of authorizing a song detailed in the support section ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93014 ) doesn't help. When I try to play one of the inaccessible songs, I'm not prompted to log in to the account that purchased them; nothing happens.

  • Emails have stopped coming in.

    I Am in Tenerife.
    During my first week I had no problem receiving incoming emails.
    However since Boxing Day (26th Dec) incoming emails have ceased since 07.02
    i have changed from 'Fetch' to 'Push' as that is how my iPhone is set up and there is no problem with incoming emails there. The only trouble is I have to visit a bar which has Internet access, as I am only allowed access on one device at the apartment we are staying at.
    I have also deleted a huge number of emails from the Trash box.there are no emails in the Junk box that I can see.
    the Internet is working, I have downloaded a newspaper yesterday & today.
    Facebook is also working.
    I would be grateful for any advice.

    emails from PayPal have stopped. When an item of mine got sold on EBay and was paid for, I would get a "Notification of Payment" email. They have totally stopped.  I have sold several items on eBay and I no longer get any PayPal emails.  Any advise??thanks!!

    Someone very kindly helped me to stop my emails being received in triplicate but I see I now am getting more popstat files appearing although the emails are not being duplicated. Does anyone know how I can stop this please. Many thanks

    Hi, had my IPad 2 for nine months and have always been able to quickly access my emails via the icon on the first page when switching on, noticed that no new emails have arrived for the past 7 days.  I have to laboriously log on to my service provider to see my latest emails.  A pop-up box says I am not connected and asks me to go to imap.tools.sky.com but no help, can anyone help?

  • Yahoo business mail stopped being pushed to both of my iMacs, but working fine on iPhone.

    I recently updated to 10.9.2. And I can see the messages on the server, but why can't I see them in mail??
    I've tried deleting the account from my preferences, and adding it back in but still nothing. My normal yahoo mail still is working fine.
    For business mail, I pay for POP forwarding.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I'm SO frustrated with this Yahoo! email integration... I'm seeing the same issues as you:
    1) PUSH email stops pushing
    2) "Sent" email messages ("whoosh" sound implies all is well) via Yahoo! are not actually being sent.
    This would be bad enough if when sending email the client actually told me there was a failure... but it turns out it's been a completely transparent problem. All appears well, but isn't.
    The only solution I seem to have found is to delete the Yahoo mail account in the Settings/Mail area, and then re-add it through the Settings/Mail UI. After doing this I find that Push notifications and the ability to send email via Yahoo! mail returns.
    .... The problem is that - based on previous experience - it won't be long before the client, or Yahoo (I have no idea where the problem really lies) will quietly stop functioning again.
    I'm also a Yahoo! Plus email subscriber, if this has anything to do with the issue. Any non-plus users out there running into this issue?
    Apple / Yahoo / AT&T... PLEASE fix this!

  • TS3899 Any idea why my ntlworld(Virgin) emails have stopped arriving on my iPad Mini? When first added I got 18000+ emails copied over (probably every one I ever got on the desktop!) & got emails daily, but it just stopped. Flags up can't connect..desktop

    If you have your first baby after 35, you're an elderly prima gravidas; well I'm a proper elderly prima iPad user....when I first added my email account to my wonderful new iPad Mini it all seemed so simple. I had over 18,000 emails immediately on the iPad (probably eberything ever received on desktop) and was receiving emails daily (most but not all that arrived on desktop) but its just stopped. No emails at all. When I go to Mail, it flags up "The mail server 'imap.ntlworld.com' is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account into Mail settings."
    I haven't changed anything from when it worked fine....I've sent a query to Virgin Media too. 
    Internet's fine. Frustrating. Thanks for any help. (I tried to do Apple support on iPad but of course they want to email me on device...)

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
