Nokia n8 hang - battery removal query - plz help

Whenever the nokia n8 hangs, will I have to remove the battery everytime with a screw driver ?. if it is so won't it be irritating ?

if you reomve battery you void your warranty,look in the pool of knowledge thread for a reset .

Ipod battery life-someone plz help!!!

Okay, so I didn't realize that you had to charge your ipod before you use it (because I didn't realize there was a back to the lil instructions that come with it) so now the battery doesn't last very long. Is there any way I can fix this or get new batterys? Does anyone know?
*Please help because I just spent 200 dollars on my ipod and I don't want it to be _screwed up_!*

Everything that comes battery operated needs to be fully charged before use to get the most out of your battery.....

JTextArea hangs .... plz help

i have made a gui using jframe(prog1.java). there is a JTextArea which is used for printing output. i have another class(prog2.java) which does all the computation and prints any output to the above JTextArea.
what i am doing is ... first prog1 is executed and in that a thread is created which executes prog2. now if prog2 goes into infinite loop, it keeps calling append() method to append output to JTextArea of prog1. but due to this infinite loop, prog1 or the GUI hangs, and i am not able to click any menu button that i have made or do anything else in the gui.
can anyone suggest some solution to overcome this.

N79 hanging problem plz help....

while unlocking the keypad of my n79 sometimes the phone gets hanged then i have to take the battery out and then again switch on the phone........plz help me how to get rid of this problem???

I have also same problem with my Nokia N79, I just cancelled sensor for automatic themes from cover. Just open back cover & stick some paper or plastic cello tape on four hole marks of covers wich r sensor for automatic themes to change colour of back cover same as theme colour. From 2 days I feel my mobile working fine without hanging ! so try it, all the best.

Yes it needs that software to run all the applications, still there's more than enough memory thanks to on demand paging I haven't seen any out of memory issues yet how do you mean it uses too much memory, it uses the memory it needs yes it has less free RAM after boot but again, I haven't seen problems with memory so far. Maybe if you use a RAM monitor you can find which applications you are running cause the RAM to be depleted.

Yes that's true but not because it needs memory. Somehow Nokia decided to remove that feature completely it's a shame but if you look at the specs it's not listed anymore.

To the best of my knowledge the N96 is available in Europe, Middle East, and many places in Asia. Not yet in the US but that's a different version due to different frequencies. So it's pretty much world wide. Anyways, your final advise to wair for a firmware update is good, since newer software is usually better.

I have nokia 5800 and i like it very much... But i have a problem with it ..... the problem that when i download any thing from nokia OVI Store from my mobile like: Games, apps and videos when download finished and starting to install the games or the apps it's say's: "installation failed" and when i redownload it again nothing change and keep saying "installation failed" ........ and i noted that when i install app ( themes, apps and games ) on my mobile by ovi suite or by file manager it also say's to me "Expired Certificat" even if i signed this apps but it alwyas say's "Expired Certificat"....... for this problem i did: hard reset - format my mobile - format my sd card - update my mobile to v40 - but the problem never stops to return in a few hours ..... then i find out that when i need to install any app on my mobile (by ovi suite or ovi store in my mobile or file manager) i have to switch off the mobile and turn it on again to install what ever i want ...... so Plz help me out
PS: 1- I have 2 friends having the same problem that i have and they did what i did
2- my mobile software v. when the problem stated v31
3- my memory card 8 GB the orginal one

2. Scroll down to and select "Remove E: Memory Card".
3. Select Yes to remove the memory card.
4. Press OK and remove memory card from phone.
5. Press the Dialler on the main screen.
6. Type *#7370#
7. Enter security code. Default is 12345 unless it has been changed.
8. The phone will reset, wait for this to complete and power back on.
9. Select your country and type in the correct time and date.
10. Wait for the phone to complete its configurations, you may receive "My Nokia" or tutorial messages.
11. Power off phone.
12. Insert the memory card.
13. Power on the phone.
14. Wait for the phone to install any pre-loaded content from the memory card.
15. Phone is ready to install applications, without "Expired Certificate" error message.

This is for a windows PC
1) Download the flashing software
Maemo flasher 3.5
http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/maemo-dev-env-downloads.php
2) Download the image file
Download the global PR 1.3 image.
RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin
http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php
3) Install maemo flasher 3.5 to your PC
Then open the folder that youve installed maemoflasher 3.5 and ,copy the image file to that folder.
4) After that,,,
Charge your battery to 100%
Turn off your device
slide out your keyboard and press and hold " u "button
Connect your device to your PC via USB cable
(back light wont be turned on. But you'll be able to see a freezed nokia logo)
after that you can stop holding U button
Then launch maemo flasher
Type,
flasher-3.5 -F RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R
Hit enter!
Done! I'll take about 2 mins to flash your OS!

i want to display the account balance of every customer/vendor whenvever i open a marketing document. i have created a UDF for the marketing documents in the title with name and description 'account balance'.
Now how do i link the customer/vendor name field to this UDF so that the query generated will show the account balance of the corresponding customer/vendor.plz tell me in steps as to what tables to choose ,what fields to choose, what conditions and relatoins to use in a query wizard

Hi Friends
Here is my query,
I am changing the tcode FBL3N to add one extra field into it and to display data in the name1 field for the spcific entries in the selection screen,
After selecting the All item radio button and giving the range in the select-options when i am pressing F8 it is giving me the correct output,after that when i am trying to display the name1 field by selecting the ctrl+f8 button and pressing the apply button it is giving me the error as
"An internal error has arisen in the form routine ANALYZE_ACT_FIELDCAT
for program RFITEM_INC.
This is due to inconsistencies between table T021S (special fields) and
structure RFPOSEXT."
I changed everything to Y* but still it is giving the error.
Plz help me in this if someone face the same prob or someone having idea on this.
