Non of the viedos in ipod is syncing to my computer, and only photo streaming will syn to the computer. what is the problem here
I have tryed changing in ituned to sync wifi, and have selectedSync photos from ipod photos cache, all folders including viedos and pressed sync. But it has not happened
No I can't. The iPod is nearly full and I want to free up space by putting vid n photos onto computer. It use to do it but for some reason this has changed and hasn't been syncing for the last 6 mths or so.

Videos are not included with the Photo Stream. Photo Stream is for photos only.
There is not a wireless method for importing videos from the iPad's Camera Roll. -
When I open up my I Tunes account with my IPod plugged into the computer, I get the message" IPod is synced with another library" I only have one Library. None of the music or Apps that I have purchased shows up.

Having trouble getting ipod to sync with original computer,it was plugged in to laptop and sync to it but all my music and things are on desktop,and now it wants to sync with only laptop. How do i get to sync back with desktop?
If everything (music and apps) are on the desktop, just connect the iPod to the desktop and :
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod if you want to set up the iPod as a new one.
- If you want to retain the apps daa and setting currently on the iPod, right click on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up. Then restore the iPOd from that backup
- You can also restore the iPod from a previous backup you have onthe Desktop if you want. -
My iPod automatically synced alot of apps and then i canceled but all the app icons are on my iPod and they
are all waiting. They aren't taking andy byte!Try syncing the iPod to to computer and then delete the apps. Next would be to restore from backup

FM Transmitter used to work fine but stopped working, bought 2 new ones and neither work, they work with other Ipods in the house, IPOD Usb syncs fine with Computer, why won't it work with the FM transmitters anymore?
Are the other iPods models, same version as yours. The 2 New FM Tx may need a new iPod software, which you can update via iTunes.

Your Ipod is synced to another computer - but this is the "other computer"
I had to reinstall all my hardware. When I reinstalled Itunes and hooked up my Ipod, I got a message saying my Ipod is synced to another computer and can only by synced to one computer. It asked if I want to erase the contents and sync to this but my laptop library was wiped out and all the songs I've downloaded are on my Ipod so if I erase all I have to start all over again. It does give the option to transfer only the songs I purchased.
Please help. Is there a way to reset things so I can sync back to this laptop?

presario Windows XPI did this once successfully using a program called copypod. It's convoluted, I know, but it's the only way I could figure it out...

1. Use copypod to transfer the music from your ipod to your itunes collection on your computer's hard drive. Close iTunes, open copypod, and follow the directions. Unless you want to pay, the basic version of copypod only allows you to transfer 100 songs at a time, which might take a while if you have a huge library.
2. After you've transferred all the songs on your iPod to iTunes, plug in your ipod and when prompted if you want to 'make this computer your primary computer' answer 'yes'. This will erase your ipod but will also copy all the music from iTunes back onto your ipod. Your iPod and computer are now synched and best friends again.
The songs purchased from the apple store can be used on five different computers, so these tracks probably won't be a problem either.

First, right after updating my iTunes to the latest version, my iTunes will not display album covers. It says exactly "iTunes is unable to browse album covers on this computer." It has never been an issue before, but, anyway... that is where it all started.
Then I read a bunch of Apple Support topics on the subject, and it directed me to replace my library file with a previous library file. So, I did, and now, not only will my albums not display, but my iPod Touch will not sync with my computer, the only computer I have ever used it on. It says that the ipod is synced with another library and asks me if I want to erase and sync (I have my music on my computer, but I will lose all of my apps and such).
What can I do to resolve this? Thanks for the help.Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your iPod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
All media content will be erased during the first sync, but you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

We have two apple ID's and two libraries. My daughter's iPOD is syncing with my library and we really want to go to just one library--Mine for ease and we can't figure out how to do it. Please help!!!
Apple does not transfer content bought with one Apple ID to another Apple ID. Apple will not merge two Apple IDs.
If most of your content was bought with the Yahoo! Apple ID but you now want the Gmail address for your Apple ID, the trick will be to change the address used for the Yahoo ID with the Gmail address. However, to do that you must first free the Gmail address from that other Apple ID. Use the instructions from Apple to substitute another address that is not used as an Apple ID for your Gmail address in the Apple ID with the Gmail address. Then, when the Gmail address is no longer used in an Apple ID, you can use the same instructions to substitute the Gmail address for the Yahoo address in the Apple ID with the Yahoo address.

The iPod sees the new computer as a new iTunes library. You can only sync with one iTunes library. However, you can manage music among disfferent computers. See:

Since all of your music came from your computer in the first place, then it should still be there and should be included in your backup copy of your computer.

Hey Ryan, When you looked at Get Info as Illaass instructed did you compare all the info listed in iTunes Get Info on the computer's copy? When you looked at the song(s) that are separated, do they list anything different like a featured artist? Or a different composer / song writer? Sometimes that will trick the the software into thinking it is 2 different albums. Make the info about the album and artist match, then sync to your iPod. The songs should go back where they belong on your iPod. Good luck. Cheers.

Yes. To avoid that:
- Transfer iTunes purchases to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music by using a thrid-party program like one of those discussed here:
Copy music
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up.
- Restore the iPod from that backup.
The computer will now be your syncing computer in the future. Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music. -
My ipod touch keeps getting restarted. Be it while playing games or listening to music or browsing thru the app store. Whats the problem here?
Oh, you do one thing, back up your iPod to iTunes. Plug your iPod to the iTunes and when it appears under devices tree on the sidebar, right click on it, and back it up.
After the backup completes, jus click on restore button. If required it will download the latest iOS from the servers (Might take sometime) and after it's downloaded, it will erase all your data and settings, restoring to factory settings.
After you have completed restoring the iPod, jus set it up as new iPod.
Sync back all the apps, music, movies.
And make sure you quit the apps, by double clicking the home button and pressing and holding the app icons and clicking on
This should help your problem anyhow!
It might be a case that the files in the apps, or the preferences might be corrupted, jus to be safe, we have a backup. -
i have an ipod touch. previously when i did not update it it used to download skype and kik messenger but now when i have updated it it wont download any od them. i have 4.2.1 software at the moment. im really confused, what might be the problem here?
Many developers when they updated their apps fro the newer iOSs dropped support for the older iOSs. That included Skype and other developers. Unless you have a copy of the apps version that was compatible with your iPod/iOS you are out of luck. Do you cave such a copy in a computer file backup??
