Not able to Bind DPS 6.3.1
Hey,
I configured Sun Directory Server 6.3.1 on Solaris Sparc. I'm not able to bind the ldapclient.
**DPS Error log says:**

I am not able to bind the data permanently
HI
I created a property sheet and a modified menu Component. I am able to bind data from the excel sheet.
And it showing the data in the component as expected when I click preview.
The problem is :
After I have done binding if I click anywhere else in the canvas and then click back on the component the data I inserted in the property sheet is showing there but it is not reflected in the component (data that I have binded from excel sheet as well as the ones I have modified manually).
The component looks just like its just been dragged and dropped from the Add-On list ( like I have just added a new component and I haven't attached any data to it). At this point if I try to modify data in property sheet, then also there is no change.
It starts working again only if I delete the entire component, create it once again and then bind the data all over again.
PS: I can attach some snapshots if my question is not clear.Hi,
On manage screen of your ODS check in request tab how many records are
added & transferd if they are correct the data is coming properly by ur request id only other wise check that request once in PSA also, if u activate at a time for two
requests the two requests r comes into one request id with this purpose delete that request & load the same request. -

In Jdeveloper 12c I am trying to create a task flow where I have taken 3 pages to insert values in a table. On first page when I put data control of 2 columns as input with label, then on bindings tab I created an action as CreateInsert.
Now when I am trying to create invoke action in executables then this option is not available.
How can I create this task flow where values can be inserted in the table on the 3rd page fragment on commit button???
All 3 pages have data control input boxes to insert values in the table.Hi,
Right click on the task flow page activity, click create page def and add there. If your activity is a page, then you can select the page and generate the pagedef as well.
Then you can add the executables.

Not able to get ADF select many checkbox working with binding lists
Hi,
I have 2binding lists: list A that holds the selected choices and list B for all the choices. When the user opens the page, a list of checkbox should be displayed all the choices from list B with the saved ones pre-checked from list A. When the user changes the selection, the binding list A should be updated.
I tried to use ADF select many checkbox but could not get it working for this.
There are 2 big issues:
1, can get all the choices from binding list B displayed but not able to pre-check the ones from list A.
2, when the selection changed, not able to updated list A with the new choices
I find some sample but it is talking about saving the selected choices into the managed bean not into binding object and using valueChangeListener. How to implement this in ADF? Please help.

I don't think you can do this with a select many checkbox. This component works on one list whereas you want to handle two. You may archive this if you use a managed bean and handle all the list manipulation in java.
Your use case more looks like a select many shuffle (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18196_01/11.1.2.0.0/lovs.html).

But not so while using Web Service Model(not adaptive web service model).

I am not able pass the data from component to other component.
I have done like this.
1 Main Component (Parent component ) having below two child components.Embeded as used components.
2) Search Component and Details Component
3) In the Search Component having buttons, Say : Button u201CXu201D on click of button I am navigating to Details component view through FPM.
4) When I am clicking above button u201CXu201D raising the event to call the parent business logic method, there I am getting Structure with values and binded this structure to the node and Mapped this node to the Details component interface node. FYI : I kept the debugging point Structure is having data , I had set static attributes table to node instance.
5) In the Details component node data is not coming mean empty.

When you use input Ext. check that the parent component should not be used as used component in child component.
Only in the parent component the child components should be used as used components and the usage has to be created for the
Child Components and the binding of the Node should be done from comp. controller of parent component to child node
by which you will be able to see double arrow against the node.This should work

Not able to save bindings when calling bindings.getOperationBinding("update") in customized method.
Hi All,
I'm new to ADF and trying to learn it.
I'm using JDev version 11.1.1.6.0.
My use case is mention below :
1. I've created 2 Bounded task flows and calling one task flow from another task flow using task flow call activity.
2. In child task flow, i've created view activities with Train component. View activities have text fields, radios buttons, tables etc which can be filled by user.
3. I want to save the page data to payload if I move to next view activity using Next button or by train bar.
To accomplish this scenario, I'm calling a customized actionListener on click of Next button/Train Stop Bar in which I'm using below mention code :

But I'm not able to save page data to payload/bindings. If i close the window using browser close button and move back to previous train stop in which i've filled the data, the data get lost and all the text fields/Radio button become empty.
If I use Save button provided by Oracle BPM, then I'm able to save it. and data reflected even after if i close the window using browser close button.
So I also try to use the below acode but did not get any success :

Yes, it is the same binding which is called from BPM Save button.
I did not use the debugger but i tried to print the OperationBinding object which was showing me proper binding for update.
Even when i tried to print the return value of invokeActionBean.action(); method, it print the proper string "closeTaskFlow".
So if I see it logically, then I'm just trying to call the methods of InvokeActionBean from my customized method.
If methods of InvokeActionBean not being accessed, or if it was not getting called, then it should not print the "closeTaskFlow" as return value.
I only want to save page data into bindings once I'll move away from page precisely on moving next.
If there is any other work around for this issue, please let me know.
I've also tried to use Explicit/Implicit save points provided by ADF but that did not work too. -

Remote Object - not able to get the returned value from java method
Hi ,
I am developing one sample flex aplication that connects to the java code and displays the returned value from the
java method in flex client. Here I am able to invoke the java method but not able to collect the returned value.
lastResult is giving null . I am able to see the sysout messages in server console.
I am using flex 3.2 and blazeds server and java 1.5

Please help me .You are not able to get the returned value because if you see the Remote object help you will realise you have to use result="resultfn()" and fault = "faultfn()"
In this you define what you wish to do.
More importantly in the remote object you need to define which method you wish to call using the method class like this

r2 is the function where you get the result back from java and can use it to send the alert. -

I have not seen the wsdl yet but your xmlbean types generation looks familiar.
This is one reason why you could get the error with the xmlbeans type.
error: src-resolve: type 'Array@http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/' not found.
Workaround: To allow the XmlBeans to be built from this type of WSDL correctly, add the schemaLocation attribute. For example, if the original WSDL had an import such as:
<s:import namespace="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"/>
It should be changed to the following:
<s:import namespace="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" schemaLocation="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"/>
After this change you should not see the error.

Not able to catch the exception
Hi,
I'm trying to run an ADF page (Test.jspx) . The only page content I have is an embedded BI report.
I have used a report executable in my page definition.
A sample code snippet is:

Here TMBIPresentationServerConn is the name of the connection of the BI Server.
If BI Server is down, on running my page , an exception is being thrown by the framework.
I want to catch this exception and perform my own logic, but since i am using a binding context for report , i am not able to catch this exception.
Could you please let me know how can i catch the exception if BI is down?

You are using a version of JDeveloper that isn't available to the general public, and are asking about it on a public forum. You should use the internal Oracle forum - I don't know the URL, because I am one of the unwashed general public ;)

Not able to access DB on VM after getting Reserved IP
Hi,
I have Reserved an Public Virtual IP for my VM 23.102.xxx.xxx The OS WIN server 2012 R2 and and has SQL server 2012 running on it.
Problem:
1. I'm not able to access the DB or connect to the server form outside( from my local machine). I was able to connect when the Public Virtual IP wasn't reserved.
2. As my website is hosted on the same VM, I use the Internal IP address as the Binding IP address, however I recently noticed that the Internal IP address has changed and my website was down.
3. How do I prevent the Internal IP address from changing. So that I don't have to reset my webconfig and binding IP address frequently?Hi,

1. How did you connect to the VM? I recommend you to use DNS name of the cloud service(xxx.cloudapp.net) with the public port for RDP to connect to see if the issue persists.
2. In general, if you shut down an Azure VM to stopped (deallocated) status, the resources for the VM will be released and the internal IP address may be changed.
3. You can assign a static internal IP address to an existing VM if it is in a virtual network. For more detailed information, please refer to the link below:

Not able to get changed values in the SAVE EVENT in ServHPartnerDet view

I am new CRM WEB IC, i have requirement like need to access four IBASE fields from BupaIbaseDetail and need to display those fiedls in ServHPartnerDet view. I am able display the fields and its values in the target view. But when user press change button and changes those four fields and press save button not able get the changed values in to the SAVE EVENT.Anyone please help me in this.
IBHEADER , IBASEADDRESS are the CONTEXT NODE CREATED in target view. I have binded IBHEADER to CuCoIbase custom controller and getting four fields data from IBASEADDRESS. below is the code for CREATE_CONTEXT_NODES.

this CREATE_IBHEADER some data related to IBASE header then from this reading the IBASEADDRESS contextnode fields for displaying in the ServHPartnerDet. It is working fine but After changing the four fields values in the ServHPartnerDet view and trying to save, then context is not reading the new values it gives the old values only.

Lag between Sky +HD box and Sky Multiroom box
