Not able to create the delivery document in '000' client of IDES

Dear Experts,
I am facing a problem while creating an sd process flow in the client '000' of SAP IDES system. I am working over SD CIN. Previously I received an error while generating sales order. The error was stating that certain entries were missing in the table CRMPAROLTP & it was the error message number V3, 302.
For that I went to SM30 & defined 'CRM_RELEASE' (under parameter name) & '600' (under parameter value), which solved my problem. Now I received another problem while creating the delivery document which is as follows:
Problem : "Message no. B2 001 : Local logical system is not defined"
Kindly assist me in sorting out this problem. I checked the stock level at MMBE, but the stock was not reduced with the quantity as was specified under the delivery document & at the same time the document number was also not available for further processing.
What to do?

Thank you very much for resolving my problem. Meanwhile I first went to trx. code 'BD54' &, there I defined a new logical system & ultimately assigned that logical system to client at 'SCC4' as specified by you. And my problem got resolved.

What is the error you receive? Please specify with message number.
On MIGO, you need to change the default value mvmt type value to 103 before you enter the PO number to be able to do 103.
Once this defualt value is set, you can enter the PO and item number in the document number fields and proceed with 103.
But you cannot change the mvmt type for already entered items from 101-103 or vice versa.
I think the 101-103 and 103-101 mvmt type conversion message is standard error message

Certen user is not able to create the sc using sepecific vendor

Hi,
User is not able to create the SC entering specific vendor .
This vendor is in maintained in SRM for one pur.org (I have checked in PPOMA_BBP).
Then why he is not able to creating the sc using this Vendor

whether user is belong to same region of the Vendor or different. Is there any enhancements you have like that.
Please check those things.

Not able to create the purchase requisition for the subcontracting process

Dear Gurus,
There is a process order with the component which is to be handled in the subcontracting .Earlier we are able to create the purchase requsition with the creation of the process order .But recently I am not able to do so .I am getting the "The value of the field Reservation/Purchase requsition as Never" .I have checked with the settings in the procurement type in the MRP2 view of the material master which is "X" ,the validity of the outline agreement and contract which is OK.Can you please help on this.

Which database and OS is your BW server on? Not all of them are supported for SQL server

Not able to attach the scanned document with Interaction Record in SAP-CRM

Hi Experts,
I have a scanned document and I am trying to attach it with Activity in Interaction Record.
I maintained the document ID refering to scanned document in table TOA01 with interaction record guid; however the attachment gets displayed in SAP-CRM GUI but i am not able to see the attachment in SAP-CRM GUI.
Please help if someone has encountered a similar issue or propose a way to attach the document with acitivity in interaction record.

I am not able to understand your requirement correctly. Are you trying to attach the Document as a Attachment to the Interaction record (or) trying to attach it as a Archive Link Document??

i am not able to validate xml document against its DTD using SAX parser even after setting setValidating = true. even if the file is not correct according to DTD , it is not throwing any exception. what could be the reason.? please help..

actually the same program i wrote in java
and the same method i was calling from the main
and it is working fine and the xml document is getting displayed one important thing to be noted here is that the factory.newDocumentBuilder().parse(new File(filename));is returing XmlDocument
and the printing takes place
but the in same method public static Document parseXMLFile(String filename, boolean b) in servlet
the line factory.newDocumentBuilder().parse(new File(filename)); is returning DeferredDocumentImpl
and this creating problem , had it returned XmlDocument
i would have printed the elements one one
but as it is returning deferredimpl
iam unable to print the elements
could you please tell me why factory.newDocumentBuilder().parse(new File(filename)); is returning DeferredDocumentImpl
in servlets but in plain java pogram it is returing XmlDocument

if u have created ur own doc type without referring to std doc type then u have to carry out all customising related to doc type define/assign,item catg define/assign,sched lincat define/assign.in spro.
if u have created referring to sap std doc type with copy all data then system by default does all these .
In other words
Check if the combination of your sales order type and item category type exist.
In customizing you need to set up which item category types can be linked to the sales order types.

Profit center document not generated after creating the billing document

Hi,
I have few billing document for which the accounting document is created, but no profit center document got generated. What could be the reason? The profit center is captured at the account assignment tab of sales order as well as at the item level of Invoice and in accouting document too. The only problem is it has not generated the "Profit center document". Pl help. Thanks in advance.

When you save the billing document then the accounting document and Controlling document gets generated.
A profit center gets captured and it can be used when we check the accounting document. But make sure that for the G/L accounts profit center is assigned and in your controlling area details also profit center is checked.While configuring controlling then the profit center should also be assigned . to the G/L accounts .So kindly check with the help of your FICO consultant wheather proper assignment has been done or not

Not able to create the Confirmation.

   We are running on SRM 4.0(Classic Scenario).We have activated the WF 10400010 (No Approval WF for GR).But now the requisitioner creates a confirmation,it comes back to him for Approval when actually it should create a GR in R/3.
When i go in RZ20,under All Monitoring Contexts>DSM\Business Workflow\...->Business Workflow runtimeBusiness Workflow runtime>ategory : Workitem create failes
I get the error as "Unable to create work item. See application log 'H4fMaI2E0ZG200002cJP50".
Also under Category : Administration Issues-->we get the foll error ,"table CONTOB not yet migrated to WI2OBJ (see SAP Note 861380)".
Under SLG1,i am getting the messages as
1>System error: Unable to create parameters
2>Workflow definition is inconsistent (NODES is initial).
Also ,1 observation was that in table swd_header entry for WF10400010 is not there.
Has anybody   come across this issue??

We are able to carry out the Confirmation Process in 1 client(Sandbox/test). But when we are trying this on the Quality client,we are getting this error.
Also on the SAndbox Client,we ahve2 WFs activated ,WS10400020 AND WS1400010 WHILE ON Quality Client we have activated only the wf WS1400010.
   We are on SAP_BASIS SAPKB64015.Not sure whether this Note will help.

Solution is
An message has been occuring like withhold tax has been refreshed. it is just an information message not an error message. this message will trigger when the trans. type is non project type activity. No back end process has been disturbed due to this message. it just passing the information to the user.
we changed the trans. type to manufacturing activity and it is working fine.

Not able to edit the emailed document to SharePoint library

Did anyone try to edit the Word Documents that are populated from the outlook emails into the SharePoint library using Incoming Email setttings?
This library doesn't have any required cols but still it is giving this error message all the time:
The File cannot be saved because some properties are missing or invalid.
Use the document Information panel to provide the correct property values. errors for required properties are marked with red asterisk and errors for invalid properties are marked with a red dashed border.
When I go to the information panel, I just see a red asterisk beside the
location- populated with the path of the file location.
Does anyone faced this issue before?

It seems a default behavior in SharePoint 2010 for an email enabled list.
You can try the workaround below:
1. Go to the doc library where you have enabled incomingemail> go to Library Settings
2. Go to the Content Types section (you have to enable manage Content types
from Advanced Settings if not done already)
3. Add a new content type fromthe list of existing content types > good to try with Basic Page. Make that as the Default (select it as #1).
4. Once you are done with the changes, go to our Outlook client and send an
emailto the same list with an attached Word or Excel file and try Saving it after
Edit.

Try to look in the trace log as you'll see more information there.
<Your Data Drive>:\usr\sap\<Your Sap Name>\J00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\defaultTrace_00.x
where x refers to the file with the latest timestamp.
The log you posted does not say what the error was, and due to its detailed levels regular MII users can't help.

Not able to create the NEW DC under the Track from NWDS

I have imported one Track to the NWDS. Now i am trying to create the new dc under the SC component which i have imported under the track.
When entered as
vendor: abc.com
name as: test_dc
click on next giving the following error.
syntax of abc.com/test is not valid:Invalid name: appropriate prefix not found; choose another name or another name server.
Any body tell me how to resolve this error.

Following can be done for Name Reservation:
1. Log on to the SLD.
2. Click on Name Reservation
3. Select "Development Component" in the Name Category
4. Click on button New Name Prefix
5. Add your prefix abc.com in the NAme Prefix field and Save.

I have started the Administration server and the Oracle I/PM Managed Server. Now I'm trying to access the Oracle I/PM web client at this URL: http://hostname:16000/imaging. But when I hit this URL, the following error comes up:
Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

Hi Srinath,
I have checked that as well, it is showing the IPM_server in running mode.
Also it doesn't show any deployment failure in the command line. Here is what it shows:
