Not able to plan -multiple currencies in Integrated planning

Question

We have a requirement to plan in different currencies     
     one record in Eur
     one record in USD
the key figure final std cost (A)  has reference "currency Info obj"     
purchasing currency (B)     
I have created a variable on PURCHASING currency and entered USD and EUR on it      
It does not allow me to plan in either - if I enter more than one currency in the Variable      
My question is      
1) Is this possible without having to keep changing the filter / variable
2) any special condition under which it will work
3) NO DIM function does not allow me to plan on CKF
4) is there is functionality similar to the one available in BPS layout - wherein it is possible to say "SUPRESS UNITS"

Hi Arvand,
if you have one characteristic "currency" and you key in two values, you cannot plan on it, because the characteristic does not have a unique value.
-> you need to have a characteristic differentiating between local currency and foreign currency (like currency type for example).
-> depending on your planning requirements, you can plan simultaneously by adding the additional characteristic in your query (manual planning), or for example create a planning function to perfom the conversion from foreign to local currency.
NODIM should not block you for planning. We also do this a lot with calculated key figure having NODIM.
