Notes 2.0 sync on iMac through iCloud

Hi there, does anyone know how to get the Notes 2.0 App to sync through iCloud?  The sync option is easily available on my iPhone, but not on my Mac System Preferences/iCloud, where the only option appears to be to sync 'Mail and Notes', not the Notes 2.0 App.
Thoughts appreciated,
Kind regards,
JD

Ahhh, you mean this piece of junk
Perhaps read the reviews before you buy?
As this is not an Apple product you should contact the developers.

  • Sync-ing gmail through iCloud

I want to sync my mail through iCloud, including my gmail.  Is this possible?  Ultimate goal is to manage email from both my iphone and macbook and have them sync with each other.  That's not happening now.

Only Apple's email accounts work through iCloud.  You could always forward gmail mail to the apple account, but there are certain disadvantages, such as using the gmail return address instread of an apple address when replying.
Think of icloud email as an independent provider like gmail and all others.  That's why the email client app on a device or a computer can be set up to access emails from multiple sources.  When using the email client, you see all your emails together - why the need to route everything through one provider?  (Unless you are trying to use email via a browser.)

  • Syncing selective Albums through iCloud Photo Library?

Hello, I would like to know whether there is a way to sync selective Albums through iCloud Photo Library? For example, I want album A and B to show on my iPhone but want to see all albums on my Mac. Is this possible?

I don't think so... looking to do this myself...

  • Calendar not syncing from iMac to iCloud

I have an iMac running 10.6.8, a first-generation iPad and an iPhone 4, both upgraded to iOS 5. To start with, syncing through iCloud worked perfectly. Now the calendar on the iMac is not syncing with iCloud. Calendar events put into either the iPad or iPhone show up on iCloud, and sync with each other. But events put into the calendar on the iMac do not appear on the iCloud calendar, and events put into the iPad or iPhone do not appear on the iMac calendar. Any ideas?

    Mary...
You must have v10.7.2 Lion installed for your Mac to use iCloud.
Read here >  Apple - iCloud - Learn how to set up iCloud on all your devices
If you decide to upgrade to Lion, make sure your Mac meet's Lion's requirements
Currently your iPad and iPhone can sync using iCloud but not your Mac.

  • Can't sync my contacts through iCloud or iTunes from an iPhone 4S to an iPhone 3G

I have an iphone 4S that fell on the floor and broke the front glass. They will take some time to fix it and I need to sync my contacts to an iPhone 3G. The problem is that I can't sync them through iCloud or iTunes. Everything else syncs just fine (calendar included) but not the contacts.
    Anyone had the same problem?
Anyone has any solution to this problem?
It's reaaly important because I can't be without my contacts all that time (they will take up to 15 days to replace the glass!!!!, the iPhone works fine, just the glass broken!)
    Thanks

Does the display work?  If so, you could use an app like My Contacts Backup to email your contacts to your other phone.

  • TS4147 Syncing contacts only through iCloud with Outlook 2007 and iPhone & iPad I have duplicate contacts only on the iPhone & iPad.  If I remove one of the duplicates the other one is also removed.  A solution would be appreciated.

Please tell me how to elimante duplicate contacts on my iPhone & iPad.  I am syncing Outlook 2007 contacts through iCloud (NOT iTunes).  There are no duplicates in Outlook, nor in iCloud, but there are duplicates on the iPhone & iPad.  If I remove one of the duplicates the other duplicate disappears.  Thank you.

Go to contacts on your phone/ipad, click groups, make sure that the only checked contacts are icloud. That shoud do.

  • Evernote on ipad has my notes. I sync to imac, the program evernote is there. My notes are not. How do I get them to the imac?  Also Evernote refuses my id and password.

Evernote is on a new ipad.  I have made notes.  I plug the ipad into the imac via wire. I run itunes to automatically sync.  I find Evernote in the imac applications folder. It has no notes transferred.  Even more, it asks for id and password and refuses all I try.  I am sure this is fixiable.

Evernote doesn't sync through iTunes sync. It's designed to sync through the Evernote service, that's the whole idea behind it. You need to make sure that your Evernote application on the iPad and the computer login to the same Evernote account and they will synchronize through that account.
If you've forgotten your Evernote account information, go to the Evernote website and go through the "I forgot my password" process. Once you have gotten your username and password straightened out, you can set it up on your computer and iPad and they will be able to login to the Evernote service to sync.

  • Why Can't I Sync My iMac to iCloud?

Until recently, I was able to sync all of my iDevices and my iMac and MacBook Pro to iCloud.  Now, I cannot sign into iCloud on the computers and none of my address book and calendar changes are in sync with my iPhone and iPad.  Why would I be able to sync some devices and not others?  Thank you for any help on this subject.  Jerri

As it turns out, the iCloud service was disrupted for a period of time yesterday and I was able to login without a problem this morning using the normal Apple Password.  Thank you for your kind response.

  • Calendar event entered on iPhone only syncs to imac via iCloud if I quit Calendar program and reopen.

I have a quick follow up, if you don't mind. I tunred on iCloud for my calendar on the iPhone. Now it seems that if I enter a new item into my calendar thru the iPhone, I hvae to choose which calendar I want it to show up on - the PC calendar or the iCloud calendar.
If I chose the PC calendar when I sync with iTunes, it will sync with Outlook and show up there. But it won't show in the iCloud calendar, and thus not show on my iPad. If I choose to use the iClould calendar with the new entry, it will show up on iCloud but not in Outlook after I sync with iTunes.
There does not appear a way to have a new entry on my phone go to both calendars, thus having one sync with the iClould calander (and thus my iPad) and the other with my PC calendar (thus showing up in Outlook). Sort of defeats the purpose, it seems. If I cold choose both calendars in the edit field of the iPhone, that would seem to solve the issue.
    Am I missing something here?
Thanks again for all your input.
Yes, iCloud and Outlooks local calendar are 2 different calendars, use 1 only (and if you want to see it on both devices) use the iCloud calendar. Outlooks local calendar is just that, local.

  • Trying to sync new iPhone through iCloud

    Hoping somebody can help
I have just got an iPhone6 and I am trying to sync it with iCloud. I have done a recent backup from old phone.
When I try to sync this to the new phone it asks if I want to restore from an iCloud acount and I click this option it then brings up the most recent back ups To select from.... Only problem is they are greyed out as they are asking for the most up-to-date ISO.. So question is how do you get past this stage to upgrade the operating system In settings??
I have ended up clicking to set up a new iPhone as this allowed me to access settings and then I manually typed in my icloud details but only half of my information has synced over and I am missing all of my messages apps notes etc..
has anybody else had this issue and no what to do? Any help would be appreciated thanks a lot

Good.  I hope it's going well!
If not, you should know you need a recent copy of iTunes on your computer.
You should also check out the iPhone Manual:
iPhone User Guide for iOS 8.1
Otherwise, if you are looking for help, it would be good if you told us exactly what your issues are.  What do you see?  What happens (or does not happen)?

  • Why is iMessage sending but not receiving or syncing on iMac.

For the past week I have suddenly been having trouble with iMessage on my iMac. Thought it was fixed but the problem has returned.
I can send an iMessage say to my wife's Macbook but when she replies it only goes to my iPhone 5s and not to my iMac.
Found another discussion here on Apple Support Communities on not syncing between devices and tried the suggested remmedies with no luck.
    John

It's not clear whether you've done all the following.
Associate your mobile number with your Apple ID, if you haven't already done so.
Sign out of iMessage on the Mac:
Messages ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts ▹ Sign out
    and on the iPhone:
Settings ▹ Messages ▹ Send & Receive ▹ Apple ID ▹ Sign out
    Then, on the phone, tap
Use Your Apple ID for iMessage
Sign back into iMessage on both devices and test. If there's no change, you may have to wait for a change in network conditions.

  • TS4002 I am not recieving or sending any emails through iCloud on any device.

I go to my email through my iPhone 4, Not updated software, last received email is dated 11/5/13. I go onto my Dell computer and still nothing in my emails. I tried sending an email if I go into my sent does not show up or nether in my draft. I even tried emailing a blank email to my account from a different and nothng. What is going on?

OK. I just had this exact issue. You need to go into your icloud.com account on the web and then click on your Trash. Then click on the gear in the lower left corner and select "empty trash." If you're just deleting things you're not really freeing up space because it's still in your trash.
REALLY irritating... I missed a whole bunch of important emails due to this and NEVER not a notification.

  • How can I share a large iPhoto '11 library on multiple computers (I am the user on all) through iCloud?

I have three residences, and in each I have an iMac and a MacBook Pro (sixe devices in total, I do not like carrying computers through airports :-)) and I have an iPhoto '11 Library with 3,000 photos+.  I know I can use Photo Stream to access recent photos via iCloud from these multiple devices.  My question is:  can I create a single iPhoto library stores in iCloud so that all my devices can in fact sync their libraries through iCloud?

    No
That is not a feature of iPhoto or iCloud

  • How to send a text message reminder of a calendar appointment through iCloud?

We use iCloud calendar for patient bookings in our Physio clinic. I've been told you can set up reminder messages to be sent as a text message (synced with contacts) through iCloud but have not been able to work out how to do this.
If anyone has any suggestions that would be great!

You cannot set up reminders for events that will be sent via iMessage or SMS.

POP: yahoo, aol, comcast/time warnder/road runner
Imap: google, hotmail, and more including icloud.
If you want to use multiple devices - move to imap, I would even say "exchange", but Google does not support free exchange anymore, since January of that year. So Ironically  Icloud or Hotmail would be my choices right now.
To find out more about what happens to you, search on Google "difference between pop and imap"
