Nothing supports on JMC

Question

well I have just downloaded the javafx sdk, and experimented alittle with JMC. I created a simple media player =D but I havent been able to get anything to to play D=. It keeps throwing me a media unsupported exception with every type of file extension I try .mov,.avi,.mkv,.flv,.vob. I have installed all my sound drivers correctly and have installed codecs which support those file extensions. Furthermore I am operating on Windows Vista. Does any one know why this happens and how to get around this =/??
To add on I have double checked the URI paths i send to the media player and they are correct.
