Notification on Sales Task Create

All,
We are implementing Oracle Sales Online 11i at our client place.
Here is the requirement, In Oracle Sales Dashboard there is a link to create tasks, when a user logs into Sales User responsibility and creates a task, he is getting an email notification saying that task is created but when he assigns a assignee for this task .. that assignee is not getting the email notification. Is this standard functionality ??? or do we need to set any profile option to get the email notification for the assignee ??
I have verified all the Sales User guide, implementation guide ... but could not find any thing ....

I don't see any standard output in t.code V/30 (I am with SAP version 4.7). You can develop an output type and assign to output determination procedure for fulfilling this requirement. Check with an ABAPer to develop output form/program. hi all,
so anyone came across any BAPI or FM that creates Orders from Notification.
My requirement is similar to "Order Explode" functionality in WPS1 transaction (MEB). For two notificaitons, if the task list having the same operation and same type, then a single order gets created.
I want to know whether any FM/ BAPI is available that creates Order in reference to Notification. I just want to simulate Order creation.

LSMW for open notifications,open sales order & open service order

Hi Gurus,
Can anyone please tell me how to go about writing LSMW's for open notifications,open sales order & open service order.
This is for service processing in CS ,where has the scenario is
Create Notification (IW51) --> create Sales Order(Multiple Line Items) ( VA02) --> Create Service Order ( IW32)
Service order is automatically (Item Proposal) generated w.r.t Sales Order (multiple line items)
How to I do the recording for transactions in such a scenario.

Email Notifications for Collaboration Tasks are Not going to Lotus Notes

Hello Everyone,
Email Notifications for the Tasks in Collaboration are not going to Lotus Notes. We are working on EP 7.0 SP14 with external ITS and backend r/3 4.7.
I performed all the configuration activities that are suggested in the below wiki:

It was worked fine once for me when i perfomed the activities mentioned in the below thread:https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/thread?threadID=147316
But after restarting our Portal Server the Email Notifications for Collaboration Tasks are not coming.
Could any one please suggest that we need to do any other configurations.Thank you.

Cereation of serivce notification from sales order

Hi, thanks for replying to my post.
This essentially involves the "selling" of a very technical installation of a product which is largley carried out remotely. The current process involves a rather complex departmental chain for the processing (customer care taking a customer call and logging a notification, Techincal dept further processing notification, dispatch dept raising related service order and scheduling etc). To facilitate this we have heavily customised the Notification through the use of "actions" & the action box and would like to continue to utilise much of this functrionality to drive the process flow. In any case, we would later need to create a Notification to record casue, activity, object code etc etc.
Therefore, I prefer to have the Notification in place from the start, even if simply created at same time as service order.
I hope this clarifies our need.
Any suggestions?

Hi Ratan,
It is not clear from your question whether you are trying to trigger the email notification for the task or the lead, but it doesn't matter. You'll need to write a WF for the Lead/Task and trigger it when a new record is created and then in actions select the email notification.

Delete sales order created more than three days ago

Hi Experts,
"Business has created lot of sales order for prepayment. Only part of them are converted to deliveries, rest are stored in database.
In Open sales orders report old orders are confusing, because of Country legislation the conditions of a sales order are valid during 3 working days. Therefore after 3 days not paid orders should be deleted."
Kindly let me know if we have a standard fucntionality in SAP through which we can pull open sales order more than 3 days old and then can delete the same.
If not can you help me in understanding the Logical Flow that is needed to meet the Business Requirement through a customized program.

As per your business requirement stated above I recommend not to delete any sales order instead use a Zprogram for sales order and mark them as "MARK FOR REJECTION".
Doing this will solve your problem of getting unnecessary sales order in standrad report of Open sales order as in standard Rejected Sales order are not considred as in VA05 Report. and also keep record of the sales order created by you for future purpose.
further to this as per your business requirement you have to mark line Item wise "Mark For Rejection.
Here in coding you can give logic from Document creation date or Document Date + 3 Days if that is < system date then mark them for rejection.

Getting Error while creating multiple Orders using Sales order Create BAPI

Hi,
I am trying to create 2 orders thru the Sales order create BAPI before I commit and save the orders. The Orders are getting created and the BAPI is coming back with success, but it is not setting the system status on the line items of the 1st order. So when I try to cancel the line items on the first order I get the error 'No status object is available for SDI 4924/10' . I would really appreciate if anyone has encountered such error before and could help me out with the reason for this error and the possible solution.

Change of Sold to Party in Sales order created with Reference to Contract

Dear Gurus
I want to change the sold to party in Sales Order created with reference to contract.
When I create a Sales order with reference to contract the system copies all the partner functions- Sold to, Ship to, Bill to and Payer alongwith other data.
However Sold to is marked as "Grey" and not changable, rest of the partners can be changed.
There is no subsiquent document created with reference to this Sales Order.
Please advice.

Hi ,
Please follow the below mentioned step.
1) Create a partner function letts say Authorized SP .
2) Assign all the possible authorised SP (customer) in the contract.
3) When you create sales order with reff to Contract. Put the customer for whom you wish to create a sales order in release partner tab.

Sales Order Created with reference to Contract - Exchange rate Issue

When Sales Order created with reference to contract VBKD fields KURSK and KURSK_DAT gets copied from contract and not redetrmined based on pricing date and Exchange rate type. I expected it to be determined based on pricing date is standard. What I am missing, should it be controlled by data transfers
If Document currency and condition currency are different it cause problems with incorrect condition values are calculated, as KOMP-KURSK are copied from VBKD-KURSK
Any help or directions would be greatly appreciated . We are on 4.7 ISOIL

Error when trying to search a sales order created by other user

Hi. I'm running SAP HANA One PL 04. I have a problem when I log on with User1 and try to search for sales orders created by another user. I got an error message. I think the user has enough permissions.. Is there anything else I should consider??

Error : Sales order 'create with Reference' to the contract

We have made a value contract. Now we are trying to make a Sales order 'create with Reference' to the contract.
when we do that, we am getting error 'copying material in any value contract item is not permitted'
Any help or directions would be greatly appreciated . We are on Ecc 6.0

There are two ways to resolve this for you. For the first is go and do a Reset All Settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. It will not delete anything on your iPhone, but it will put all settings back to default. If it does not work, the next step would be to restore the iPhone back to factory settings.

Task created to stop and start Health service not working.

We have multiple servers being grayed out so we created a task to stop and start the health service on SCOM 2007 R2. We have created two tasks one to stop and another task to start. The STOP task works but the START tasks keeps running but there is no result
as well as when i check in Services.msc it is still stopped. Below are the screen shots .

The same was created for another service windows audio. Which worked for both stop and stop (Created separate tasks).
We also tried the recycle health service and chche which is also failing.
Can any one please help. The issue is on both SCOM 2007R2 and 2012 R2 both. Is there any other way to touch the health service.
We are facing the issue only with Healthservice.

You are right we have to concentrate on the servers to determine why do they go grey (all in one site). But before we do that i felt i find a temporary solution. Then go deep investigation to solve the issue.
@Yan LI: As per the likn provided above you. I overrided the servers but still the health services were not starting or restarting. When i created a custom group and added the servers to that group in that site and then enabled the override on Restart
Health Service for a specific group and pointed towards that group then it worked.
