Now running Firefox 4 recently synced my bookmarks and worked ok BUT now they have vanished. I neeeeed them back!

The bookmarks synced well between my desk & lap tops about three/four days ago.

First, you may want to make a backup of your profile folder. It contains not only your current bookmark list, but a folder of backups. But these are not saved forever. Hello, I purchased a new Mac Book Pro and performed the Sync feature to migrate my bookmarks. Everything worked yesterday, but today they have disappeared.

After performing the sync yesterday, I deleted my bookmarks on my old computer, because I am going to be giving it to my wife to use and wanted to let her create her own bookmarks. Today, when I opened Firefox on my new computer, all of my favorites had disappeared. Please help! I had all of my business bookmarks on there yesterday, but I need help recovering them.

When running Firefox with normal view with bookmarks and tabs the display for the tab is jumping up and down about 1/4 of inch - display is ok if used in full screen but when go back to normall havers again. this ony started happening last night after

Am having problems with display hovering in open tabs. I used Full screen last night when browsing for first time and since then when I go back to normal view the window shakes up and down about 1/4 inch and have to go to full screen for steady view. The toolbars are all steady it is only the web page.

Do you have any saved bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar, or that that Toolbar empty and you have it being displayed??
Try opening View > Toolbars and click on the Bookmark Toolbar item to remove the check-mark, and then see how that affects that "jumping" or vertical oscillation of the UI.
If that doesn't solve your problem, you can try the Firefox SafeMode and verify that problem doesn't exist in that troubleshooting mode.

other users also had problems with yahoo mail when they were using the ghostery addon - do you have it installed too by any chance? if so, add an exception for yahoo mail: click on the ghostery icon while you're in yahoo's webmail, choose "edit blocking options" & then don't block on this domain...

Synch your contacts back from whichever program on your computer you've stored them in (Outlook, Address Book) or from your cloud service.
Not using your phone as indended and didn't have your contacts on your computer or with a cloud service? Then they're gone.

There could be a 32 bit vs 64 bit issues-is the old machine a 32 bit? and what is the new machine as far as 32/64 bit. I am not sure now if CS5 has in the help menu of the PS app the selection to update within PS if so that might work. Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing. It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone.
In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone. I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues with your iPod nano and iTunes. Based on your symptoms, you may find the following resources helpful in resolving this issue:
Windows
iPod appears in Windows but not in iTunes
iPod not recognized in 'My Computer' and in iTunes for Windows
iTunes reports that "iTunes cannot recognize this iPod at this time"
