Number od rendrer component instances in case of JTable.

In case of a Jtable I am using Combo box in one of its column. Now if I have say 10 rows in that table how many combo box instances the JTable will have? Will this number be same irrespective of the renderer component? I mean will it be same for label, button, combo box etc?

Thanks for quick reply.
As you have mentioned in your answer there will be a single instance used of the combo box for all the table rows. In that case how can different items be selected when those combo boxes are at different rows?
Fow example my combo box present at row one can have item_1 selected and the combo box at row two can have item_2 selected.
if its same instance how this is achived? I am asking specifically about the combo boxes as we can change the selected items in that case even after those are rendered. In case of labels we will have same value which will never change and in that case renderar shall only render and the component will no longer required.

  • Component instance creation order

    Hi everybody
I am calling a component interface controller method from within the wdDoInit of a view controller to retrieve some parameters to control startup procedures.
It happens that the 'child' component instance has not been created at startup yet, so that an exception is thrown.
I need to do this in viewController.wdDoInit and not elsewhere, how can I achieve it?
    Thanks
    Vincenzo

    Hi Vincenzo,
There r 2 ways to achieve this.
    1. While adding the dc as used dc, select the life cycle as framework controlled. In that case framework takes care of creating the instance when its needed.
    2. If u select life cycle as manual, u need to create the instance manually in component controllers wdDoInit() method.
    wdThis.wd<used component conteoller>.createComponent();

  • I need to install photoshop cs4 extended from a disk to a new computer because my old computer had a hard drive crash. There is no serial number on the back of the case.  How can I obtain a usable serial number?

I have to install Photoshop CS4 extended on a new computer from a disk because my old computer had a hard drive crash.  There is no serial number on the back of the case.  How can I obtain a usable serial number?

    Find your serial number quickly
You can activate software without following up and registering it... at least that was the case in the past.  The serial number is normally located on the disc case or a box inside the main box.  If you did not purchase the disc from Adobe then it is possible you would have dealt with a redemption code, in which case it would have been up to you to keep a record of the serial number, especially if you did not follow up and register the software.

  • How to create multiple component instances at runtime using java

    Hi,
I need to create component instances at runtime using java.I found ComponentSet.add method. But I am not finding a way to get handle of ComponentSet.
I see methods with params of IRuntimeNode. But how to get ComponentSet from IRuntimeNode.
If anybody knows or have sampel code then please share with me.
    thanks,

    Ashok --
This is a common challenge for those using Configurator Extensions with multiple instantiation for the first time. The problem is that the CIO's representation of the structure for multiply-instantiable Components differs slightly from what both Configurator Developer users and Configurator Runtime users see in those respective applications. Multiply-instantiable Components are not direct children of the Model in which they're defined. Internally, there is an entity that sits between the parent Model and the instantiable Components; that intermediate entity is the ComponentSet object you've found in the CIO documentation.
If the name of your multiply-instantiable Component is "My Component", then its ComponentSet may be accessed simply by calling getChildByName("My Component") on its parent Model; a List of the instantiated Components may be accessed with the ComponentSet's getChildComponentNodes() method, and instances may be added and deleted using its add() and delete() methods.
    Hope this helps.

  • Estimating number of users per instance

    hi gurus,
This is a simple but critical question for me. How to estimate number of users per instance.
example if database size is 1.2 terrabytes then how many users can we have? and how can we know the num of users for a exixting instance?
    Reddy

    Hi Reddy,
Basically it is sizing question, and it depends on the hardware you have, the performance level you expect, and how well the system is tuned...
Transaction ST07 shows how many users are currently on the system.
    Thank you,
    Victor

  • Multiple component instances for one component usage

    Hi,all
How can I create multiple component instances for one component usage.
I'm using the following code for creating  a single component instance for specific component usage:
    if(c_Usage.hasActiveComponent())
          c_Usage.deleteComponent();
    if(wdContext.currentContextElement().getSelectedTab().equalsIgnoreCase("Registered"))
          c_Usage.createComponent("health.gov.registered.Registered";);
I can't create one more component instance for
    IWDComponentUsage c_Usage
cause I have to delete the component instance associated with this component usage.
Any idea how can I do it anyway?
    Regards,
    Michael

    Hi,
To create another instance of the same component you need to embed the same component under the Used Components more then once. For Example if you have Componet A to which you want to embed Component B then under "Used Components" of Component A add component B twice.

  • Active Data Service settings per component "instance"?

Is there any way to configure active data service settings on a per component "instance" basis? I think it would be very useful to be able to have different polling intervals for different components for example. Especially due to the obvious performance concerns around this type of functionality.

Also regarding Active Services, I see the blurb in the pdf's Section 40 "Using the Active Data Service":
    [[Insert xref
to OTN for info on creating data controls and any info about making BC components
work with active data, also xref to JEE book]].
Is there any documentation, info, or examples of using a BC view in conjunction with Active Data Service? In other examples I usually see something triggering the "event", but with a BC is there a mechanism where a data update creates an event (via something built-in - nothing programmatic). I could do some type of listener that checks for data updates and then creates the event, but I'd like to think I can get that for "free" with the framework.

  • A new component instance every time??

I have created a custom component implementing a clickable tree. every request i seem to get a new instance of that component.
what is the best way to store a bean containing the tree-data and how to access it from the different component instances i get?

I tried this a couple of times and it didn't help:
    Time Machine - Troubleshooting
A4.  Full  Reset  of  Time  Machine
This will reset the connection to your backup destination, and replace the preferences file containing your settings for Time Machine:   the destination, options, and any exclusions.  If it's corrupted, Time Machine may not work properly, if at all.
It will not delete anything in your backups, or cause Time Machine to start a new set of backups.
1.On the Time Machine Preferences window, click the Options button.  Note anything in the exclusions box, then click Cancel to return to the main window.  Note the settings of other option(s), then turn Time Machine OFF and quit System Preferences.
2.If you're backing-up to an external HD, eject, disconnect, and power it off for a few moments, then reconnect it.
3.Delete the file /Library/Preferences/com.apple.TimeMachine.plist  (in your top-level Library folder, not your home folder).
(You may have to navigate to it;   a Spotlight search won’t show it, and a Finder search won’t, either, unless you include System Files.  If you have a problem finding the file, see item #A7.)
4.Go back into Time Machine Preferences, re-select the drive, re-enter any exclusions and other options you noted in step 1.  Note that the oldest and latest backup dates won't appear on this window until the next backup is done.
5.A 120-second countdown to a backup should appear.  If you close the window, it should begin immediately.

  • Restrict number of stateless bean instances

i need to restrict number of stateless bean instances. Am working on EJB3.0 and jboss.
I have even modified the following in standardjboss.xml but, still am not able to restrict.......
    <container-pool-conf>
    <MaximumSize>10</MaximumSize>
    <strictMaximumSize>true</strictMaximumSize>
    </container-pool-conf>
    Is there any other way?
    Thank in advance

all the config files are different in jboss for the ejb3 stuff (rather annoying). assuming you want to make this change globally, you need to alter the deploy/ejb3-interceptors-aop.xml file. at the end of the "Stateless Bean" domain there is an annotation element which defines the pool configuration (it's basically a copy of the java annotation embedded in the xml file).

  • How to make all Button component instances trigger rollOver sound?

    Hello all--
I am using the Button component (the one shipped with CS3) in
many places in my AS3 project. I am coding in .as files, not on the
    timeline.
I have skinned the Button to use the colors I like. Now I
wish to "skin" it so that all instances generate a rollOver sound,
and I'll be darned if I can figure out how.
I know I can listen for ROLL_OVER events in each Button
instance. But I have many many Buttons and it seems kludgy to add
that same code to every class I have which tracks a Button. I am
hoping there is some way I can make *all* instances of Button
respond to rollOver the same way. I am hoping it is like
setComponentStyle or changing the skin for the Button; I can do it
in one place and it works everywhere.
I guess I can listen on the Stage level for bubble-ups of
ROLL_OVER, trap those that come from Button instances, and handle
it from there, but stagewide listeners also seem a tad kludgy.
Is there some elegant way to make all my Buttons
automagically generate the same rollOver sound?
    Many thanks,
    Matthew Ford

It's regrettable there is no reply. But in case someone comes
across this topic, FYI I put on my main View class (to which all
other views and GUI are childed) an
    addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER...). The MOUSE_OVER events
    bubble up to that.
Then in the listener function I see if the event.target is
Button. If it is, I trigger the sound.
Curiously, the supposedly better ROLL_OVER event did not
bubble up predictably. Sometimes it did and sometimes it did not.
But the docs say that event is not supposed to bubble for some
    reason.
I still think there is a better way and I'd like to hear it.
Maybe I just need to make my own clone and adaptation of the
Button, but I am not experienced yet with creating components
(SWCs) and it appears that simply overriding the Button class with
my own .as file does not work-- the rollOver functions report
errors that they cannot be overridden.

  • Number of Pallets on layout in case of Invoice Split

    Hi,
Ours is a warehouse managed storage location from where we deliver the goods of our Sales Cycle.
IN the Invoice output, we have to print the number of pallets as no of packages, which is fine as we go back through VBFA & get the value of LIKP-ANZPK
But in the case of a invoice split, where the delivery may have 5 pallets but we are only invoicing 2 pallets, it is difficult to create logic to get the data from the Item level from delivery. COuld anybody help with that pls
    Thanks

    Hi,
I think that you need create your own VOFM subroutines in the copy rule from delivery to invoice. If will be important how to populate the structure ZUK (there are a lot of post about this issue in this forum) to split the invoices. I think that you need be careful with performance, because you must use VBFA table to link HU, delivery and other documents. Try do define the algorithm in this VOFM with an ABAPer.
    I hope this helps you

    Eduardo

  • Setting Logical component for Test Case.

    Hello,
I've created test case in SOLAR02 and I want to link my test case to Quality Assurance in my logical component (SAP ECC).How can i set this link? Now the test cases  are link to Developement system in SAP ECC. Please tell me how can i fix it.

    Hi,
If you want to perform the testing in QA client, set your system role as "Quality system" in STWB_2 transaction.
By default, the system role has to come as "Quality system".
If it is not check your transport route of the logical component in t.code SMSY.

This is the code I'm using, thanks in advance!

Thanks everyone, I found the problem.
    old code:
    createClassObject(mx.controls.Loader, "tempLoader" + i,
    1, {contentPath: images[ i ], scaleContent: true, width: 80,

  • Number count jsf component?

    hi,
does java studio creator have a number input component, as in which allows users to presss up and down arrows to increment and decrement the value of a number?
    thanks,
    lee

    Hi,
There is no such component. However what you could probably do is make use of the dropdown list component, populate it with the number values and make use of it.
    Cheers

  • Max Number of CC-BPM Instances

    HI all,
We have a scenario where we have customer master record scattered  many lines of one file so we have decided to
use CC-BPM .But our requirment is like we have to keep alive 20,000 to 30,000 or more CC-BPM instances at a time . Can anybody tell me how it will affect in the stability of XI server(In terms of Memory and Load on server)
    Thanks for your time.
    Regards,
    Tuhin

If possible, try to use branching within a single ccBPM instance, instead of independent ccBPM instances.
Each BPM process internally is an SAP Workflow instance, and there could be performance problems due to the WF-BATCH service user logging in for each workflow instance. You could do some XI tuning, but it is recommended to start with a better design, than tune a bad design.
Please share your problem and experience in this forum, would like to know how you fare. thanks.
