Hi,
How to find out the numbers of employees in erecuitment who:
1) Completed their HCMS profile
2) Released their HCMS profile
and from these above, the numbers of employees who are based in Americas?
Can somebody please telme is there any function module for this or any other way to find out the same.

    Link photo to personnel number
    Transaction code OAAD
    Click on the Create – Store and Assign button. Enter Business Object PREL and Document Type HRICOLFOTO. Click on create(F8).
    Enter the Personnel Number of the employee you want to link the photo to. Choose also the infotype that you wish the photo to be displayed on (not sure how relevant this is. It works if you use 0002 but should also work if left blank. Suspect is only relevant if you wanted to store different photos for different infotypes)
    Click on Continue.
    Enter the path and filename of the photo. The dropdown will allow you to navigate to the appropriate directory.
    SAP will notify you that the Stored document is created successfully and you end up with something like:
    If you get an error 401 to do with missing authorisations, then try and redo the above step. It often only happens the first time you try and load the photo.

  • How can I file a complaint about an employee who has been messing with me on purpose (on trades)?

    Hello. What's the best way to file a complaint against an employee who basically tried to ruin all game trades for me?
    She just stands there in the customer service section doing nothing, she paces back and forth while customers are waiting, and she only takes calls to avoid talking to customers in person. She messes up trades on purpose.
    I had a problem with a trade-in once with an awful supervisor and I called the Executive Resolution Team and the lady on the line just told me that they would call the store to hear the "other side" of the story. Honestly, I just told her what happened.
    I went in there for a trade-in earlier that day and the woman taking my trade refused to enter my phone number for my bonus. She flat out refused it five or six times. It was insane. I explained to her how the system works and she called her supervisor. The supervisor acted like I was trying to steal the bonus even though I paid for the subscription. I politely explained to her how it works and I told her all the things that came with the subscription. I told her that all they need to do is input my number in the correct space and it should apply automatically.
    She didn't believe me but she said that I could get a discount higher than what I asked to get as the bonus and I told her that it was actually lower because it was due to the base. She said it's fine and I said that I wasn't planning to buy anything that day. I just wanted to clear some space and get some credit in case there was a decent online sale later that week. She said that she could only give me a discount on something and I said, "Then can I get an Amazon card?" and she said something like "Go get it."
    I came back with the card and she gives me a discount lower than what she said she would give me, but it's still a little bit higher than my bonus, so I let it go.
    I went home and I had dinner and I got some more games ready and I went back to the store. A different lady was there and she got through most of my trade faster than the woman who kept refusing to enter my number for my bonus. She also couldn't get the bonus to work and she gave up on the first try so she calls a supervisor. I just wanted to sweep up all my games and run because I knew that she was calling the same supervisor, but I stood there because I didn't do anything wrong.
    At this point, the woman who keeps giving me trouble in my recent trips there appears and like always, she's doing nothing. Anyway, let's just call this woman L. The supervisor is K. K walked back behind the counter and she says something like, "You again? No. You're not doing this again." I say, "Doing what?" I feel insulted but I tell her that all they need to do is enter my number in the correct place for Gamer's Club Unlocked. L heard this but she just turned around like she didn't hear anything and she's busy. She did this because she's the one who got the registration card for Gamer's Club Unlocked for me. Back when she did that, she mentioned that she was from the Gaming Department. She knew that I was right but she let the supervisor get aggressive with me.
    K kept threatening to cancel my trade. I kept trying to reason with her. All she needed to do was her job. I told her how to figure it out. She kept repeating, "I will cancel it." I said, "cancel it." She canceled it and she had this egomaniac look on her face like, "I won."
    I take my games and I look back and L is pacing back and forth like a beheaded chicken.
    Anyway, for the Titanfall promo, I go into the store and I want to trade two copies of Call of Duty Ghosts and a copy of Thief. I got a copy of Ghosts from a friend who was busier than me. I was very busy those few days, so I went on the last day after classes. I have evening classes, so I got there near closing time. L rejected one of my copies of Ghosts and I asked her why and she said it was store policy even though it's not. She just cost me $11 or something because of the non-promo and promo difference.
    She insisted on doing the Thief and Ghosts trades separatetly for no reason even though I insisted that she do them together so she will only need to enter GCU once and I only need to sign twice and I get one gift card. She's just acting like a jerk, so I said, "whatever". She asked me for my number for the GCU bonus after I tell her about it. It's input and it's in the right place. It was done on the first try. She finished the Ghosts trade and I signed everything but she wouldn't give me my gift card. She started the second trade and she asked me for my number and she input it. I signed the pad and as I'm signing the paper that should be correct because she asked me for my number, I notice that my bonus is missing and I strike out the signature. I told her and she already knew. She was just shocked that I struck out the signature. She said that there was no prompt for it. She obviously lied. She asked me for my number and she input it. I told her, "You should have said something." She just took a relaxed pose and she told me that it's already tendered so she can't undo it. I told her that it's not final until I sign the final paper. I knew that I was pushing my luck because it was the last day and it was near closing time, but I kept telling her that she could fix it.
    She just wanted me to cave at that point, so she says that she will go ask a supervisor about it and she just walked into a room and she walked out in a few seconds saying the same thing. She just pretended to ask about it. She said that I can call the customer service line and get the bonus added. I signed it and she gave me the two cards. Oh, and when she left to "ask a supervisor", she took the card that was already legally mine with her. I had two cards, so I wanted to combine them. I took them to the register with a minute or two to spare and it turned out that they could not be combined because they were store credit cards and not gift cards, like it states on the website.
    So I want to file a complaint against her now and I want to get the bonus she took from me. What's the best way to do that?

  • Edit User Profile How do I enalble user lo loggin to their own profile page and edit it?

    I am having some problems....... any help would be nice
    I am using DWCS3 and ADDT toolbox extension wamp and phpmyadmin
    I am trying to create a site for people to be able to post a profile with a picture and info and display it in a dynamic table.
    I can create the form, a database and display the data on another page in a dynamic table all ok..... kind of.
    I can create a user registration system with ADDT.
    I can redirect them after registration to a post profile page, which has a form to upload details. I can then display those details on a user info page.
    I would like to allow logged in users to be able to click on a link to their own profile page , which would show the same form that was filled out in the post profile page, but would be already populated with their previously entered information. I would like users to be able to edit the content of the form and update the information in the database and automatically delete delete any previously entered information ( only in the fields that have been edited)
    How do I go about doing this?.... step by step?
    I want to allow logged in user to view their own profile not every bodies.... how do I do that?
    I have read on another post that to do something similar to this I should filter my database information using a session varialble MM_username that I think is created automatically after user logs in .... but I don;t know how to do this.... I really don;t understand is this the way I link my user to a page that only displays their info ? or is there another way?
    I would also like to allow only people who have posted a profile to be able to edit profile ...... do I do that by
    1. new user registers and is redirected to login page
    2. user logs in and is redirected to an index page that has a post profile button and a edit profile button but only the POST button is active ( and links to a form to post info ) and the edit profile button is linked to a " You must post a profile first" page ( with a link back)
    3 so user posts profile and is directed to an index page which has an edit profile button which is now linked to an edit profile page
    Does that sound correct?
    Any suggestions in getting all this to work would be much appreciated

    I have created the users page which submits to a members page and tell the user to edit biodata, profession, and hobbies. but on clicking I am really confused on how the id will be transfered from the members page to update biodata and the user updates the form which will show past records. this should also apply to the profession and hobbies
    If I understand this right, you might want to consider providing a complete "userdata" section which comes with a Dynamic List and a Dynamic Form to have users add & update their data plus (via the Dynamic List) track all past records
    Lastly is it possible I create recordset at will and the id will be passed thru since kt-login-id behaves sololy
    I really can´t recommend this "pass user_id as URL variable" approach in this case, as URL variables are displayed in the browser´s address bar -- and this is absolutely insecure, because anyone could simply change the displayed "user_id" value, reload the form and hence edit data which belongs to a different user.
    The only secure method is indeed to use ADDT´s session variable kt_login_id
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: var_export()
    Not sure, but maybe some "includes" files haven´t been generated

  • Who got their replacment?

    I'm here posting in wanting to get a answer on how the process actually works!
    I had my i7 but i had a dead ram stick while the other 3 worked! So it was classed as DOA, mind you the screen was perfect, no flickering or yellow tint. It was a week 53 imac.
    Anyways,
    I had TNT pick it up last week and the return process was completed. I had then rang up apple yesterday and they said you will receive it in 7-8 days! Then i was told 5weeks and well, I had rung up again today to find out what is going on and still didn't get all my questions answered (standard) and was told it is
    *Prepared for shipment*.
    And my question really comes down to this, Will I receive a e-mail the second it leaves China? As I did with the first one? That comes with a tracking number? Anyone who has got a replacement able to answer this?

    Though I have not spoken to anyone higher yet, i did ask the person today if i could speak to a customer relations worker and funny enough they said they don't have anyone of the sort in their department. Last 2 days I've been told a number of different things and been really left in the dark. The one who said it will be a 5 week wait I couldn't believe what i heard, it was completely ludicrous!
    I may call again tomorrow and try again, I mean if it is prepared for shipment as they think it is, I should receive the e-mail once its left with the tracking ID number, and I know once its in that stage of being prepared to ship, it normally is on the plane within a day or so. Am i right? the last one i got was prepared for shipment and in 3 hours it was on the playing from Pudong to Australia. And I'm guessing that should be the case again?

    The standard report is S_PH9_46000223 - EEs Entered and Left
    If you want to obtain the numbers in the same screen you should do the following1
    1 - access the report
    2 - further selection button - select Action type and move it to the Selection fields (you will get it on the screen)
    3 - select action Hiring and action Leaving (so that the report will only count these elements)
    4 - Period - current month
    5 - run the report
    6 - you will now have to see the number of employees (unfortunately you cannot do Sum here as you could do in a Querry that you would build as you would add the Count field so we need to do a little trick)
    7 - Change layout icon - View tab- select Preferred view instead of SAP List viewer ->Microsoft Excel
    8 - Select a template - press save
    9 - You will see now the report in the Excel format. You can do sums if you want, add formulas, or you simply delete the first line and just look at the latest line filled in (total number of EE who left or were hired during the month)
    If you do your own Querry - you can skip the Excel part and make a screen variant with the Sums.
    At least now you have 2 options that you can choose from

    However i have an issue whenever the form is opened again either to view or edit, it displays the current users information

    I think it is how the current user information is stored based on your logic.
    You might be quering current value again when loading the form (Form load Rule).
    you have to tweak your logic, after the user submits the form you can set the username to the one who saved it.
    or in form load, write a logic to see if the form was not saved before and then query the username( by using internal field like "formstatue")

    I am trying to find people who are missing IT 0023 (Previous employer) and IT 0094 (Residence status). How do I find the employees who are missing infotypes. I can easily find people with those infotypes.

    will give you a hint using data analysis perspective, hope it might be useful for you.
    in data analysis you can get total number of employees (personnel numbers) who have certain characteristics (active employee for example) from PA0000 and then you can compare vs number of employees (personnel numbers) in the record infotypes you want to check.
    download records from PA0023 an PA0094. you may process the data using pivot table. then you can compare which personnel number does not have record in related infotypes.
    use tcode SE16 Data Browser or use sap query

    See whether employee number has been locked for payroll or there are dates in the fields for retroactive calculation etc.

    if you are not sure about the linking i suggest to just show all roles associated to all the employees,
    group by employee
    create true/false formula for the role_ids  where ONLY your 20 role is TRUE per employee
    then exclude all false - that should give you only the employees that are missing that particular role.

    What do you need b.xdate for in your example?
    BTW: Isn't comm_date a date column? TO_DATE on a date column is wrong, it might give you wrong results because it will implicitly converted to TO_DATE(TO_CHAR(comm_date),'dd/mm/yyyy') where the TO_CHAR uses the default date format.

  • Finding all employees who come under the manager

    Hi experts,
    I have created a report which is attahced in MSS. So i want to restrict the manager to view the details of  only the employees who come under this manager.  At present the report is showing the details of all employees. So pls tell me whehter i can use O-S-P relation for finding all direct and indirect employees of the mnagaer by passing the org unit of the manager (or) should i need to find all position holders who report to the manager's position?..  If so, how?
    Finding the list of all employees who come under manager org unit is same as finding the list of position holders who report to the manager position? Pls telll me which is correct and how to find the same?

    mashhour is right, it largely depends on how data is being maintained in your system.
    first, you are generally mixing two concepts together of finding "direct" & "indirect" employees for a manager. In standard implementations, typically the data is maintain in such a way where only 1 method is appropriate to find a manager's employee, and the most common scenario is where the employee has an indirect relationship with their manager. 
    So typically the two are not used together.  In certain circumstances companies will implement both to create matrix like scenarios, but they are better ways to handle this. 
    The indirect method: is called this way, because the manager has a relationship to an org unit as the chief (a012), and his/her employees are in positions, which have relationships to those same org units, hence no direct relationship.
    In the direct method, a relationship is created directly between the manager's position and any subordinates positions using the A/B 002 relationship. 
    Assuming that you are using indirect only, then O-S-P with no depth defined, will all employees belonging to that entire org structure.  this is assuming your program knows the root ID of the manager relationship, which is the a012 to the root org unit.

  • Logic to calculate average number of employees per day...

    Hi,
    In an internal table, i have employee number, start date, end date.
    This table shows employee's start and end dates for a cost center.
    Now, the requirement is to calculate the average number of employees available per day for a given period...
    Lets asume that we would like to calculate average number of employees per day for a given period of 30 days (01.01..2009 to 30.01.2009)....
    The above table will have around 20 employees with their start and end date.
    Among these 20, some may be present between 1st to 10th Jan only..
    In such case, How to calculate average number of employees per day in such case?
    Can anyone help me out with a rough sketch of logic for this calculation?

    My Logic:
    1) First choose dates from which date to which date you are planning to calculate. [Here i am trying to calculate from Jan 1st 2008 to till date - March 3rd 2009 = So total days = 427 days]
    2) First try to count number of days worked in organization by each employee. [Lets take employee a = 10 days, b = 182 days, c = 427 days].
    3) Then total all the number of days. [abc = 10182427 = 619 days].
    4) Total number days / Total number of days worked = 619 / 427 =  1.44 employees per day.
    Employee     Emp-Start Date     Emp-End Date     No. of days
    a             Jan 1st 2008     Jan 10th 2008     10
    b             Jun 1st 2008     Jun 30th 2008     182
    c            Jan 1st  2008     3rd March 2009     427
              Total No. of days                     619
         From Jan1st 2008 to Till date 3rd March 09          427
              619 / 427 =     1.449648712
    I tried take simple example to recheck the above scenario is correct or not. If 'n' number of employees worked for an organization in a year (365 days) is 730. then per day = 730 / 365 = 2 employees per day worked for organization.
    I am not sure my logic is correct or not ... just tried like above.
