Number systems

Hi experts,
In sales order types we assign No. range internal or external assignments. for example OR order type has 01 number range internal assignment.
What table holds data for number systems?
Thank you

SAP Table NRIV holds data for number systems.

  • Design a simple calculator for multiple number systems

    Details:
    1.     Before designing the graphical user interface, create an abstract class called Number and four derived classes called Binary, Octal, Decimal, and Hexadecimal. Use the following structure for your Number class. The derived classes should include two constructors paralleling the abstract class and implementations of the two abstract methods.
    Number
    - n: int
    + Number() // Initialize n to zero
    + Number(int i): // Initialize n to i
    + add(Number a): void // Add Number a to this Number
    + subtract(Number s): void // Subtract Number s from this Number
+ getN(): int // Obtain current value of n
    + setN(int i): void // Set value of n to i
+ toString(): String (abstract) // Return current number as a String in
    // appropriate number system
+ setN(String s): void (abstract) // Set value of n based on String
    // representation of the number
    // throws NumberFormatException if String
    // contains inappropriate characters for
    // the given number system
    2.     Interface operation.
Clicking Binary, Octal, Decimal, or Hexadecimal changes the number in the text box and the current total to the selected number system. If there is a NumberFormatException, display an error message below the text box and do not make the change.
Clicking Add To Total or Subtract From Total uses the value in the text box to update the current total. If there is a NumberFormatException, display an error message below the text box and do not make the change.
Clear Entry clears the text box, Clear Total resets the current total to zero, and Clear All does both.
Indicate the current number system in use with a color and display error messages in red. Feel free to improve the layout as desired.
    3.     The Integer wrapper class has a toString() method and parseInt() method each with a parameter called radix that allows you to specify the number system. These will help immensely with your abstract methods. Your calculator should work with negative numbers.
    4.     Programming hint: Provide an object of type Number to store the value in the text box and another object of type Number to store the current total. These will be able to hold values from any number system and simplify your coding.

Apple states that (of the MBP lines) it has to be from Mid/Late 2007 or later.  yours seems to be right on the line.
    Apple says
If you are running Lion, you can find out if your current Mac qualifies by clicking the Apple icon at the top left of your screen, choosing About This Mac, then clicking More Info.
you must also have the latest version of Snow Leapord or Lion

  • Serial Number System Status is EDEL and ESTO, SAP does not allow to do PGI

    Hello All,
We are unable to make PGI for Sales Order 2066904/10 because of wrong Serial Number Status.
Delivery note was created on the 22.12.2012 and then due to errors deleted on 27.12.2012.
Problem is that now we need to do PGI but Serial Number System Status is EDEL and ESTO, SAP does not allow to do PGI with Serial Number Status ESTO.
These 8 products are in Stock and available for this Sales Order, one of the Serial Numbers is with OK Status
    8115001012
    8115001057
    8115001058
    8115001079
    8115001081 with OK status
    8115001180
    8115001181
    8115001690
Please let us know how to correct the problem so we could do PGI for this Order?
This scenario is not replicable in RST(Quality System)
    Our Findings:
** 1. We have tried IQ02>Edit>Special Serial No Functions>Manual Transactions>To Stock, But it still do not remove EDEL.
    2. Is it suggestible to use T Code BS22 and thereby change PMS8 to Warning? I am not sure regarding this since this a SAP managed Table
Your help is highly obliged......This is very urgent..........

    Hi,
I have encountered same issue today and here is the solution:
    1. Manually changed the status from EDEL/ESTO to ECUS
Go to Edit > Special Serial Number Functions > Manual Transaction and select "To Customer", then save.
    2. Once status is in ECUS, change the serial number status back to ESTO.
Go to Edit > Special Serial Number Functions > Manual Transaction and select "To Stock", then save.
After doing the 2 steps above, you should be able to do PGI using the serial number.
Kindly advise if it works for you.

    Hi all,
The Install Number, System Number, Hardware Key all are displayed on the help/about form.

  • Missing Serial Number - System Profiler

I have a G4 Tower (mirror door, dual 1.25GHz) and recently the serial number has stopped being displayed in both the System Profiler and under "About this Mac".
It seems to have disappeared around the latest security update for 10.3.9, and was discovered when debugging a video card issue (card failed; Apple Store replaced it).
Is there a way to either enter it so System Profiler sees it again, or to restore it from some preference or setting?
    Thank you.
    Harry

    Harry,
That symptom indicates your logic board was
    replaced.
Please read Installed latest upgrade and
serial number disappeared for a similar serial
    number mystery.
    ;~)
Interesting article, thank you. As far as I know, and according to all the paperwork, the logic board has not been replaced.
Over the last year, the Power Supply and Video Card have been replaced, but no other components were worked on. (As it turns out, replacing the Power Supply was unnecessary, because the Cinema Display was the problem.)
The Serial Number just stopped being displayed at some point. I only noticed it because I was on the phone with Apple Care getting to the final indications that the video card failed, looking for serial number to validate Apple Care status.
I really can't pinpoint the time, other than it being about the same time as the last 10.3.9 security update. "About this Mac" shows: Version 10.3.9, Build 7W98.
    Curious event. But not serious?
    Thank you,
    Harry

  • The system requirements for Mavericks used years of production for the computer requirements.  Why can't they use the generational number system?

Office location where Mac Pro is located has a slow internet connection.  I downloaded Mavericks installer onto thumbdrive.  Attempted to install on a dual 3 core Xenon Mac Pro, model 2,1.  After a few hours, I figured out that the error message that was generated by the installer was telling me that my computer doesn't support Mavericks.  Do other people get confused with which generation of hardware is supported with software?  I understand the difference between PowerPC and Intel.  The tricky part is the difference between 32bit and 64bit with the EFI and the CPU instruction set.  Also, why can't they stick with a clear numbering system that is visible when you get info on the Mac?

If you are desperate you can use hackintosh tools to boot in 'legacy' mode which allows 10.9 to run on unsupported Macs. Chameleon bootloader & some google fu will get it running in an unsupported way (assuming your graphics card is supported).
I think Apple dug this hole when they told everyone that these were '64bit Macs'. Sadly if they don't support 32bit EFI in their new OS it's not going to work by default. In other discussions I have read that drivers need to be rewritten for actual 64bit support on a 32bit EFI.
I have run 10.8 on my 1,1 MP, but 10.6 was nicer, at some point I'll try 10.9 on it
P.S. http://mactracker.ca and http://www.everymac.com are handy for working out what model supports what features etc.

  • How to start a batch number system?

Hi folks, I have a product that requires FIFO. Hence, I would like to setup a batch system for this product. In SAP, how am I able to do that? What are the steps needed to set up this batch system? Or is there any other way that can better track my item according to their batch?(as this product strictly requires FIFO method)
    Thank you.

    Hello kenshinn ,
Batch managment you should select batch option in Item Master (General Tab) for finished product.
    SAP Setting for Batch Management:-
Inventory>Item Master>(Serial and Batch Numbers>Manage Item by in general Tab)
    Select Manage Item By Batch
Select Management Method On Every Transaction
After this setting whenever user receive finished product form Production then it will ask for in which Batch you want to store the product.
And whenever you will sold the materials then SAP further ask for in which batch you want sold finidhed product.
    Thanks

  • What is the system variables of document number in General Ledger PLD?

    Dear all,
Would anybody kindly tell me what is the system variables of document number in General Ledger Print Layout Designer?
The default print layout use transaction number (system variables 272), however, my client wants document number to be displayed in the transaction number column.
    Regards,
    Simon Chiu

    Hi
The only list available for Supported variables is for the version 2007A and for some specific localizations like Brazil and India.
For the 2007A version the list is available in the following link:
    http://service.sap.com/smb/sbo/pld
'How To Use the PLD Variables File in Release 2007 A '
But in general the variables are for documents not for reports.
In this case I believe there's no variable and you may need to fill a requirement in the Forum for that.

but when install the last update MacBookProEFIUpdate2.9 i got error like this
"This software is not supported on your system."
    please help me thanks

OK, so the firmware is the same as mine, and yet Apple Support offered this EFI and SMC update packages, which should give a message that our computers are updated.
However, the update packages fail to run.
Did Apple neglect to give the correct update for the mid-2012 issue of MacBook Pro 13-inch?  I have the i7 Intel processor, instead of the i5, and I was sold this unit as having two processors, but the System info only lists a single processor.
Is one of the problems with Intel-based MacBook Pro units that the integration wasn't without bugs that cause processor hang when running the OS Lion, even with updates to 10.7.5?
Shouldn't the EFI and SMC updaters run on these machines as stated in the Apple Support article?
What will Apple do for these customers?

    1. The scrolling, as far as I've been able to determine, is by using the slide bar to the right of most diplays. There are no up or down arrows that allow slow movement
    2. The top and botton toolbars are not visible. The top one appears when you point the arrow to the top of the screen but the same doesn't work well if at all pointing the cursor to the bottom.
    3. When downloading, something jumps to the upper right of the screen. I could point and click it and get a diplay if my downloads. I was attempting to fix some of the above. Now the little thing jumps off the screen and I can't get to it.
4I was trying to installMacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update 2.3. I got message it couldn't be installed on my system.
    5. The red yellow and blue bullets that allow shutting down, minimizing and maximizing are missing on most open windows.
Can you do something about these problems
It's problematical that one can't communicate directly with Apple to resolve these problems

1: I'm scrolling this page right now using the arrow keys.
2: Press the escape (esc) key to exit full-screen mode. Select Apple menu > Dock > Turn Hiding Off.
    3: ???
4: That's because you downloaded an update for another model.

  • Support Contract wref to sales order-how to get serial number

    Hi Experts,
    Below is the scenario
Step 1:I sell product[supplied by thirdparty] in sales order  123456
    Material number     Description      Qty
    material-0001         Printer             2
Step 2:While purchase it from 3rd party it will be having serial number which can be entered manually while doing goods receipt. Eg:
Material number        Description    Qty      Serial number
    Material-001              Printer           1         PS-10001
    Material-001              Printer           1         PS-10002
Step 3: Now I create a support contract with reference to the sales order 123456 for the sold printers. Here I need to capture the serial numbers of both printers, so that when customer complaints, the item can be identified.
How can we achieve this in the contract?
    Waiting for a quick reply
    Thanks
    Banu

    Hi Banu,
    1. Create a Contract with Service product.
    a. Create a Service material in MM01, with material type DIEN
    b. Create a General Task list master (Tcode - IA05).
    c. Attach this Task list with the Service material using OISD Tcode (set the reference object Equipment - if your equipment and serial number are same) -->(Service Product)
2.Attach the Technical objects (Equipment Number or Material number + Serial Number) to the line item service product.Maintain the contract data like price, start and end date.
    3. Create a Sales order VA01, with reference to the Contract document
    a. Configure this sales document type, material type to determine the Item category TAD
    b. Let this Item category has the Requirement type SERA (maintain Service order type in requirement class(230 as default)
    4. System will ask you the equipment number to create a Service order.
    5. Enter the Equipment number,
System will ask you to select the Operations from the task list that has been attached with the Service product in step 1.c
    6. Save the sales order and open in Change mode.
    7. In Scheduled lines tab, you can find a "Service order button". Click on the button, will show the service order for the given Equipment number in display mode.
You can edit the Service order IW32, and confirm the operations and issue materials to capture the actual cost and settle to the Sales order.
    Hope this would help.
    Regards,

Many people are happy with OS X 10.5.8 but since you have an Intel Mac it is well worth upgrading to Snow Leopard now and then considering other options after that.
You can discover more about various Macs at: http://www.apple-history.com/
The OS numbers and names are:
    OS X 10.4.x - Tiger
    OS X 10.5.x - Leopard
    OS X 10.6.x - Snow Leopard
    OS X 10.7.x - Lion
    OS X 10.8.x - Mountain Lion
You can buy Snow Leopard here:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A
For details about upgrading this to Lion or Mountain Lion see:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD256Z/A
In each case check that your Mac complies with the requirements.
If you are not in the US you should use the Change Country link at the bottom of the page.
