NWDS 7.0 : webservice without response

Hello,
We are trying to implement a webservice based on a WSDL file that doesn't receive a response
from the endpoint.  In NWDS 7.1 CE it seems possible, according to this blog... -> /people/rudolf.held/blog/2007/04/24/how-to-consume-an-enterprise-service-from-the-es-workplace-in-web-dynpro-in-the-new-sap-netweaver-composition-environment-71
Anyone knows how to do this in 7.0 ? (SP13)
Thank you.

we solved it ourself,
it works with adaptive web service model,
when you receive after sending the request the nullpointer exception "fillOutParametersToMc" then....
your call was succesful

    Error message: "Warning: unresponsive script". Afterward, the system freezes and will then crash. Crash reports have been submitted many, many times without response. I have tried the fore-mentioned solutions with either no results or very bad results which I filed a report but did not receive an answer. The application to block scripts actually worsened the problem and I could not correct the situation for a while (no response from Firefox, at all). I have also been through this procedure without any one contacting me, AT ALL.

    There does appear to be any support whatsoever from mighty "non caring" FIREFOX & people are getting fed up. We may as well try another system, if they can't be bothered to provide any support for their system, we can't be bothered to use their system.

  • Expose IDoc as Webservice without PI/XI

    Is it possible to expose an IDoc as an webservice without PI/XI?
    I noticed there is a port called XML-HTTP. Does it use SOAP? Can i use this port for webservices.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Precisely.
    Idoc is not a program but structure. You can create RFC which interact with this Idoc or related structure and then expose this RFC as webservice.

    2)This webservice requires request id , which we will not have untlil we create a request in CUP.Besides request id, it has user id and system id as input field.
    Is there a way or any other web service available, which accepts some other fields like role (particularly), analsysis type,etc, and then return us analysis data.

    Hi,
    I have a requirement of wherein which my client has provided me a dot net webservice which needs to be consumed in SAP R/3 using which i have to build an interface between SAP R/3 and the legacy system. This interface needs to be synchronous in nature.
    Please let me know how to handle this in ABAP and is this possible without using SAP XI / PI.
    Step 1:
    SAP r/3 ( sends data )------> (Webservice) Legacy system
    Step 2:

    Regards
    Joel

    Hi Joel,
    You can use the webservie (SOAP or WS[if it is PI7.1server] adapter).
    By calling the webservice from the ABAP.

  • Publish a plsql code as webservice without using JDEVELOPER or APEX

    Hi All,
    I am looking into how can we publish a PLSQL code as web-service without using JDEV OR APEX.
    When I google for this one I can see only by using JDEV or APEX we can publish Code as a web-service.
    Is there any way in oracle, just by using simple PLSQL packages we can publish code as a webservice.
    Appreciate your response.
    Thanks,
    MK.

    Apex does not publish PL/SQL code as web services. It is a web run-time and development framework. Something totally different.
    To turn a PL/SQL function into a web service is simple. You use the orawsv servlet in XDB - without making a single code change to the function. It will not even know it is called as a web service.
    To use orawsv, two basic steps. Configure and enable the servlet (raw HTTP/HTTPS connections will be handled by the Listener). This also entails enabling shared server in the database, if not already enabled. The 2nd step is to allow the function to be executed (via a HTTP call) as a web service, via granting specific roles.
    orawsv handles the HTTP call. It provides the WSDL. It parses SOAP envelopes as input. It makes the call (as a standard PL/SQL call), to the function being used as a web service. It returns the results of the PL/SQL function call, as a SOAP envelope output.

  • Import .par file into NWDS and Rum it without deploying ?

    Hello All,
    I'm new to the NWDS and the Portal.
    I've many Qns on my Requirement. Hope u guys can help me out in resolving my Issues.
    Is this  the right forum to place my Query ?
    If not then please let me know the right forum .
    My Requirement is like this :-
    1. I need to create a Portal Application which calls an URL.
    2. But before developing this, my Client gave me one 2 options :
         a. He gave me a par file and asked me to make  changes in it.
         b. Create a new Portal Project which calls the URL ( Predefined ).
    3. I wanted to check the 1rst option i.e  " a ".
    4. I tried to Import the .par file into NWDS like this :
    * Windows --> Open Perspective --> Enterprise Portal .
    * File --> Import --> Par FIle.
    * I gave the name of the Project as PortalLogon.
    5. I searched in the forum on this scenario and I found that the libraries for this project are not automatically imported.
    <b>A .Can any one tell me how to import the libraries and which are all the libraries to be imported ?</b>
    <b>B. How to test my PortalLogon Project without deploying ?</b>
    Is it possible to test this Project without deploying ?
    If yes can anyone tell me hoe to do this ?
    Regards,
    Deepu.K

    Hi Deepu,
    Usually Server will be having all the jar files and If you want to deploy your par file using NWDS you need to give a path to your Jar file location.
    So better download all the jar files from your server and keep it in your local desktop.
    Create a new folder called "JarFiles" in your desktop and keep all of your jar files inside.
    Download Jar finder from IBM Site ( search for "Resolving Java Classpath Issues" in SDN ,you will get a pdf and follow it.).Add it as a plugin to your NWDS path.
    Restart NWDS.
    Now you can resolve the jar file issues.there are many weblogs /articles/forum QAs regarding this.
    If u need more clarification,please let me know.
    Thank you.

  • XML Namespace in WebService Request/Response

    Hi all,
    I have a question regarding xml namespace usage in wsdl and the corresponding request/response messages.
    I have already browsed quite some articles about xml namespaces as well as some forum threads, but I am still not sure.
    I have the following part of a wsdl document (generated by Integration Directory), defining a targetnamespace.
    u2026
    <wsdl:types>
        <xsd:schema targetNamespace="http://www.dorma.com/sap/xi/finance"
                             xmlns="http://www.dorma.com/sap/xi/finance"
                             xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
            <xsd:element name="DebtorGetDetailResponse" type="Z_BAPI_DEBTOR_GETDETAIL_Response"></xsd:element>
            u2026
            <xsd:complexType name="Z_BAPI_DEBTOR_GETDETAIL_Response">
                <xsd:sequence>
                    <xsd:element name="DEBITOR_COMPANY_DETAIL" type="BAPI1007_5" minOccurs="0">
                    </xsd:element> u2026
                </xsd:sequence>
            </xsd:complexType>
            u2026
        </xsd:schema>
        u2026
    </wsdl:types>
    u2026
    In my understanding, all types defined in the schema section of a wsdl document will be in the targetnamespace, if defined.
    Therefore the element DEBITOR_COMPANY_DETAIL would be in the namesapce
    http://www.dorma.com/sap/xi/finance
    However, the ABAP proxy generates a response message like follows,
    where only the root element is in this namespace and the child elements are in the global namespace:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <ns1:DebtorGetDetailResponse xmlns:ns1="http://www.dorma.com/sap/xi/finance"
                xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
        <DEBITOR_COMPANY_DETAIL>
            u2026
        </DEBITOR_COMPANY_DETAIL>
        u2026
    </ns1:DebtorGetDetailResponse>
    Do I have a wrong understand of the wsdl (xml schema) or is this an erroneous behavior?
    The problem is that some 3rd-party software web service module does not accept
    the response message as not complient with the respective wsdl document.
    Any input is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Hans

    I have the same problem. I am trying to connect to a webservice running on IBM websphere but it doesn't accept the xml in my request. It appears to be the same namespace issue.
    Did you ever find a solution for this?
    Is it a valid webservice call if you omit the namespace for an element or is this a bug in the Adaptive WS implementation?
    Web Dynpro web service model generated request:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <SOAP-ENV:Header>
    <sapsess:Session xmlns:sapsess="http://www.sap.com/webas/630/soap/features/session/">
    <enableSession>true</enableSession>
    </sapsess:Session>
    </SOAP-ENV:Header>
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>
    look between these lines -
    <ns1:tamKontrolleraKontoLastAnrop xmlns:ns1="http://schemas.fora.se/modell/tam/1.0/TAM_Data">
    <AnvandarNamn>30039647</AnvandarNamn>
    </ns1:tamKontrolleraKontoLastAnrop>
    look between these lines -
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    As you can see the tag
    <AnvandarNamn>30039647</AnvandarNamn>
    is missing a namespace.
    It should be
    <ns1:AnvandarNamn>30039647</ns1:AnvandarNamn>
    Using a third part tool called Soapui i generate this request that works:
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:tam="http://schemas.fora.se/modell/tam/1.0/TAM_Data">
       <soapenv:Header/>
       <soapenv:Body>
          <tam:tamKontrolleraKontoLastAnrop>
             <tam:AnvandarNamn>30039647</tam:AnvandarNamn>
          </tam:tamKontrolleraKontoLastAnrop>
       </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>

  • How MS SOAP 3.0 client invokes WL 7.0 Webservice WITHOUT using a WSDL file?

    Hi,
    As you might guess, we are not big VB users here :-) but we may have some C# code that
    could be of some value.
    What problem are you trying to solve by not using WSDL?
    Just curious,

  • BAPI - XI - webservice and response back to BAPI

    HI experts,
    could anyone please explain the step by step procedure for the below scenario in XI.
    1.Bapi ->2.XI -> 3.webservice -> 4.XI -> 5.Bapi
    BAPI must invoke a service in XI which invokes a webservice and fetches the data from external system, the response received back in XI is mapped to the BAPI.
    a) How to configure BAPI in SAP R/3 to invoke XI service

  • WebService without WSDL

    Is it possible to use WebService component without specifying
    wsdl file? I mean just by pointing it to server script and calling
    its methods?
    I'm developing Flex client that has to call dynamic (and
    quite large) ammount of server methods and defining all of them in
    WSDL is quite a task.
    Maybe somebody can advise some solution?
    Thanks!

    If you control both the server and the client, consider using
    HTTPService instead of WebService.

  • WebService SOAP response problems

    hey,
    I'm developing a WebService, using EJB's. I have a session bean, which has several methods. One of them returns, say, a class like follows:
    class TeamDTO implements Serializable {
    private String name;
    private Integer teamId;
    //getters and setters ..
    I have several such methods returning various, very similar, classes. Now the problem is, when I try to test my application in the Web Services Navigator the response NEVER contains all the fields I wish. Why is that? Example of a response:
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope ...>
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>
      <rpl:getAllTeamsResponse  ... >
       <rpl:Response ...>
        <pns:TeamDTO>
         <pns:name>team0</pns:name>
        </pns:TeamDTO>
       </rpl:Response>
      </rpl:getAllTeamsResponse>
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    But the TeamDTO class has apart from a name field an teamId field as well. What happened?! The same happens to other classes, but there's no rule about the missing column (first I thought it's the PK, like in the above example, but that's not the case).
    What am I doing wrong? Ah, the fields are definetely not null, since in the above case it's a PK.
    regards,
    Kornel

    Hey,
    thanks for your hint, but that's not the problem here - for the example I've posted above java.lang.Integer won't appear, and for another case java.lang.String (whereas in my example String appeared). I'm sure the problem is somewhere else.. What happens if the field is null, will the appropriate tag appear in the soap response?
    regards,
    Kornel

  • Call WebService without BPM

    Hi Guru.
    I need your help.
    This is my scenario:
    1) PI 7.1 reads a file va FTP
    2) with the contetn of this file the system calls a WS
    3) with the response of the WS I need to write a file via FTP
    How can I do this without BPM?
    Thanks
    Manuel Chiarelli

    Hii
    You can very well do this.
    File adapter for file send/receive.
    SOAP adapter for web service.
    this should help u out more
    RFC Scenario using BPM --Starter Kit
    I think RFC Lookup is the best solution to your problem. Going for BPM might give performance issue.
