OamAuthenProvider.jar and weblogic 9.2.3

Hi all,
Can anyone please tell whether we can integrate OAM 10.1.4.03 with weblogic 9.2.3 using oamAuthenProvider.jar?
If so,could anyone please provide any document which contains the steps to be followed for the integration process.
Thanks & Regards,
Swathi.

This error seems the one reported by a deployment script.
To find the root cause of failed deployment you have to look inside weblogic logs (administrative and also managed instances).

    Hard to help you here. JDev 10 used to work with OAS 10g as application server. This does not mean that you can't use Weblogic9.2, but because it is not the default configuration you may have some problems doing this.
    One problem is that you need to install the ADF runtime libraries in the WLS 9.2 server, but there is no installer I know of. You can try to deploy the needed libraries together with your app, but you have to figure out which libraries you need.
    Next thing is that you should deploy an EAR instead of a WAR.

  • Need Netbeans *.jcs *.jcb for j2ee.jar and weblogic.jar

    Any one have *.jcs and *.jcb files for j2ee.jar and/or weblogic.jar.
    These files are used by Forte for autocomplete.
    When I try to create, the IDE runs out of memory and crashes.
    If anyone has it please email to [email protected]
    Thanks

    No, you don't need to put it in your classpath, but
    when you go to compile your code (this is via pure
    commandline), try this:
    set J2EE_HOME to the location where your J2EE SDK is
    installed.
    example:
    J2EE_HOME=c:\java\j2eesdk1.4
    Now, in the dir where your ejb files are:
    javac -classpath %J2EE_HOME%/lib/j2ee.jar *.javaI keep changing and testing my code; recompiling...
    Is there an easier way than type the 2 lines above each time I compile...?

  • JDriver and weblogic.jar for the wlserver 6.1 sp2

    Hi all,
    After I download the jDriver for Ms sql 2000 server, I set the classpath as
    document told, I test
    it using the utils.dbping it works fine. But when I try to use it with the weblogic
    server 6.1
    I have the problem as following:
    I included the jDriver classes in the classpath of the startWeblogic.cmd as
    set CLASSPATH=.;.\lib\weblogic_sp.jar;.\lib\weblogic.jar;C:\weblogic\mssqlserver4v70\classes
    saved the startWeblogic.cmd file
    Then I start the wls with startWeblogic.cmd(the new classpath). It starts fine
    Then I setup the connection sql pool using the weblogic.jdbc.mssqlserver4.Driver
    It says "No suitable driver"
    I found that in the weblogic.jar(shipped with the weblogic 6.1) and in the jDriver
    classes, there are two files which have the same name is weblogic.jdbc.mssqlserver4.Driver.
    Because in the classpath
    .\lib\weblogic.jar comes first so weblogic server takes weblogic.jdbc.mssqlserver4.Driver
    of the weblogic.jar rather than in the jDriver classes directory. So I thought
    the matter of changing the order in the classpath (.\lib\weblogic_sp.jar;C:\weblogic\mssqlserver4v70\classes;.\lib\weblogic.jar")
    will solve the problem, but when I changed the oder in the classpath the weblogic
    server did not start AT ALL with the following errror.

  • Weblogic.jws.Policies.class is missing in weblogic.jar and wlfullclient.jar

    Hi,
    I am trying to upgrade Weblogic from 9.1 to 10.3.2 or 10.3.3
    In Weblogic 9.1, our application used weblogic.jar in our classpath.
    After we installed Weblogic 10.3.3, the new weblogic.jar can be found in: <WLS_HOME>\wlserver_10.3\server\lib
    However, some class files are missing and we realized we need to manually generate wlfullclient.jar and use this jar file instead.
    Reference: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12840_01/wls/docs103/client/jarbuilder.html
    The problem is that in Weblogic 10.3.3, the following class files are missing inside weblogic.jar and wlfullclient.jar
    - import weblogic.jws.Policies
    - import weblogic.jws.Policy
    Hence, our application is getting an "The import weblogic.jws.Policies cannot be resolved" error in our code.
    I look inside both weblogic.jar and wlfullclient.jar, weblogic.jws.Policies and weblogic.jws.Policy cannot be found.
    This is not an issue in Weblogic 10.3.2. These two classes can be found in wlfullclient.jar
    Any idea where I can find these class files for Weblogic 10.3.3 or something we are doing is incorrectly?
    Thanks
    Toan

    Hi,
    This missing classes can be found inside the JAR : *"E:\bea10_3_3\wlserver_10.3\server\lib\wseeclient.jar"* As well as inside *"E:\bea10_3_3\wlserver_10.3\server\lib\wls-api.jar"*

  • Storing ejb-jar.xml and weblogic-ejb-jar.xml

    We are using Weblogic Integration 9.2 on a 2 cluster system sharing the same domain directory.
    1) I am wondering if I can store these files somewhere in the domains directory instead of the EJB's archive - call it MyEjb.jar?
    2) Are there any benefits to storing these files outside of the MyEjb.jar file? I am thinking to make it easier to update the configurations such as number of MDB consumers and such to avoid having to recreate the MyEjb.jar with the new config and redeploy the application. A simple text edit and bounce could be fine if the files can be stored outside.
    2b) Can another application in the same domain read these files to find out the connection factory and queue information?
    3) Are there any disadvantages to storing those files outside of the jar file? One issue I can think of here is how to deal with them on a cluster environment.
    4) Any other feedback apprecaited.

    If you look at the contents of a deployment plan (Plan.xml) when you have it generated
    <deployment-plan ...>
      <module-override>
        <module-name>ejb.jar</module-name>
        <module-type>ejb</module-type>
        <module-descriptor external="true">
          <root-element>weblogic-ejb-jar</root-element>
          <uri>META-INF/weblogic-ejb-jar.xml</uri>
        </module-descriptor>
        <module-descriptor external="false">
          <root-element>ejb-jar</root-element>
          <uri>META-INF/ejb-jar.xml</uri>
        </module-descriptor>
        <module-descriptor external="true">
          <root-element>persistence-configuration</root-element>
          <uri>META-INF/persistence-configuration.xml</uri>
        </module-descriptor>
        <module-descriptor external="false">
          <root-element>persistence</root-element>
          <uri>META-INF/persistence.xml</uri>
        </module-descriptor>
      </module-override>
    </deployment-plan>You can see which files can be external and which can be not. The weblogic-ejb-jar.xml can be external
    but in this case you need a deployment plan to point weblogic to the file. The ejb-jar.xml cannot be
    external (see external=false)
    The benefit of storing the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml is that your administrator can fine tune certain
    configurations by using a deployment plan, instead of having to extract the contents from the jar file
    and then repackage it again.
    No need to worry about a clustered environment, you can place the jar and the deployment plan
    on the server where the admin server is located, when you deploy an application you deploy it to
    the cluster and everything is taken care off.
    More information on deployment plans can be found here: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11035_01/wls100/deployment/config.html

  • How to deploy *.jar in WebLogic by Hudson and WLST

    Hi everybody!
    I have the server (hostname - server0), where:
    1. Developers works. He create the build JAR-files and put this file in special local directory:
    /home/build/test1/jar/ - jar-file for test envorement 1 of weblogic (hostname - server1)
    /home/build/test2/jar/ - jar-file for test envorement 2 of weblogic (hostname - server2)
    2. I have the directories with WLST scripts for deploing the build JAR-files:
    2.1. Script files for deploing the jar-files in test envorement 1 of weblogic (hostname - server1)
    /home/build/test1/scripts/deploy.sh
    /home/build/test1/scripts/deploy.py
    2.2. Script files for deploing the jar-files in test envorement 2 of weblogic (hostname - server2)
    /home/build/test2/scripts/deploy.sh
    /home/build/test2/scripts/deploy.py
    3. Hudson (Hudson ver. 2.1.2) is intsalled.
    Could you please tell me, how to automatic deploy *.jar in WebLogic by Hudson and WLST, if take into consideration the email-notification about problem in deploing?

    I've never used WLST inconjunction with Hudson.
    What I have done is use Maven to do this.
    We have a WebLogic Server Maven Plugin which can perform deployment operations.
    Hudson has support for Maven, so you create a Maven project which does the deployment from the project and configure a job using that on Hudson -- if you can get your developer to upload their artifacts to some form of SCM system so Hudson watches for the changes, grabs the new file and does the deployment, that would work.
    If you want to use your scripts, then you could perhaps use the Hudson SSH plugin which can execute "shell" scripts on a server. Theoretically here you would create wrapper shell scripts for your WLST execution/script, then configure a Hudson job which executes the scripts. I've never used the plugin so not sure how it is activated, but you could configure a job to run on a periodic basis, and have the wrapper script itself do the check to see if the directory contains a jar/ear file to deploy -- if it does, execute the WLST scripts; if not, simply return.
    Let us know how you get on!

  • How will be the weblogic-ejb-jar and ejb-jar xml for EJB Local Interface?

    Hi,
    I have one ear application which is using Stateless Session Beans. I don't have any Bean to Bean communication . At present, the client is invoking remote methods thro Home/Remote interfaces. My doubt is , shall I implement EJBLocal home/ local interface to obtain this same functionality cos, in this app, both client and EJb bean have been deployed in same JVM. Can Local interfaces only be applicable to Bean - Bean relation ship?If LocalHome/Local interfaces can be implemented in my scenario, then may I know how will be the ejb-jar.xml and weblogic-ejb-jar.xml?
    thanks and regards,
    Venkat.

    Local interfaces are for communication between ejbs and their clients when both are in the same JVM. The clients can be normal clients, jsps, servlets, and other ejbs. If the client is not in the same JVM you cannot use local interfaces even though your client is another ejb.
    Advantage of using local interface is it reduces the network overhead.
    For more information you can download Mastering Enterprise Java Beans Third Edition by Ed Roman. You can go through 45
    You can download pdf version from.

  • Issue in bringing up CRS on ATG 10.1.1 with MySQL and Weblogic 10.3

    Hello,
    I am trying to bring up Commerce Reference Store as part of my evaluation using MySQL (bundled with ATG) and WebLogic 10.3.
    I followed the ATG Documentation on CRS with WebLogic and MySQL and I could not proceed because of the below error log. I keep getting error in OnlineCreateServerInstanceTask of CIM. I believe it should be some configuration problem, but could not think of any.
    As part of the installation, I use C:\jdk1.6.0_25. I verified my weblogic server is up through the admin console. I started MySQL before running the eval batch. Apart from starting MySQL server, I did not make any datasource/database configuration changes for ATG. I have not run any other scripts to configure MySQL too.

    This error is resolved after following the logs in C:\ATG\ATG10.1.1\CIM\log\cim.log. The root cause is I used http as protocol instead of t3 while specifying weblogic admin url.

  • Override Spring jar in Weblogic 12c

    Hi Folks,
    We have been facing an issue while overriding the Spring jar in Weblogic 12c. Basically we need to write a bean based on some 3rd party API calling their interfaces. Now they use Spring 2.5 jar for their own implementation. Since Weblogic inherently supports Spring 3.0 jar. As a result when we write our bean wrapping their interfaces and deploy it, it doesn't work. We replicated the issue by replacing Spring 2.5 jar with Spring 3 in local environment.
    If we modify the server classpath to load the Spring 2.5 jar (preceding Spring 3.0), entire soa-infra application goes down, so what We wanted to know if it is possible to override the Spring jar only for our application itself? While loading the application it will override the Spring 3.0 jar with Spring 2.5 in the application context but server will keep using Spring 3.0?
    Any ideas/suggestions highly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Bhaskar

    Hi Bhaskar,
    have you tried packing the Spring libraries in your application and using the Filterring Classloader? Maybe this links can help you :

  • Reload a jar in weblogic server without restart

    Hi All,
    We are using weblogic version '10.0.1.0' and have 'reports.jar' file in server for reports.
    If we change any existing class file under 'reports.jar' then we are using below steps in order to recognize a modified jar by weblogic
    1) We need to recreate a jar using eclipse in local IDE and
    2) Copy the 'reports.jar' into server
    3) Need to restart server inorder to recognize the modified jar
    Is there any alternative solution to reload a jar in weblogic server without restart?
    Please do the needful.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Gangadhar

    Hi,
    If this is for weblogic running on development mode, then you can go for auto-deployment feature where weblogic will auto-deploy modified application from autodeploy directory.
    For production mode, you can go for production-redeployment feature of weblogic where it uses application versioning. So for example you deployed webapp1 with version app1.0 and then for new release you will deploy webapp1 with version app2.0 adding a retirement policy to retire old application after said time and start using webapp1 with app2.0.
    Refer to link for mode detail - http://middlewaresupport.wordpress.com/2013/03/21/production-redeployment-feature-in-weblogic/
    rank it if found useful
    Thanks,

  • LDAP groups and WebLogic Roles - Urgent ( weblogic 6.1 sp1, iPLanet 5.1)

    I have 2 questions and these are very urgent :-
    1. Where the mapping can be defined between LDAP groups and WebLogic Roles. I have
    2 groups in iPLanet :- Contarctors and employees and I have 2 security roles in weblogic:-
    contractactors and employess. How do I map LDAP group contractors to weblogic security
    Role contractors? Similarly for employees ?
    2. I have not defined contarctors and employeees under People container in IPlanet.
    e.g. The RDN for contractor is
    uid=1234,ou=dir,dc=orams,dc=com
    Can I still use the defualt security realm of weblogic (the WebLogic Security Realm
    under People ) OR I have to write my own custom code ?
    3. I am planning to use Roles insetad of groups to manage the logical grouping in
    iPLant. Can I still use the groups in WebLogic security realm ( in the configuratin
    parameters ?)
    This is very urgent ....so if any of you can throw any hints that will be greatly
    appreciated.

    Hi Ariel,
    The driver is bundled with the product in WLS 6.1sp1. you don't have to
    download any additional driver. Use it as you normally would only thing to
    remember is if you are trying to write standalone java code then you have to
    have weblogic.jar in your classpath. For the rest of the info follow the wls
    docs for 6.1

    What has to be done to do this with 6.1 sp1?

    The errors occur when the user is querying for a list of objects. It does not seem to matter which list or type of objects. Attempting to recreate the error has not been fruitful - the queries are typical and ordinary routine data pulls. In the forums we see a lot posts about compatibility between drivers. The oracle 10g is using the ojdbc14.jar in its lib. Do we need to update this? Can we run java 6 against the 10g instance reliably?
    We have also seen a similiar issue occur once when the user tried a normal save:

    Thanks For the Post. It occurs mostly in my app too which uses oracle 10G with ojdbc14.jar , but client in weblogic 10.3 has ojdbc6.jar. My logic is , at that time network was impaired and oracle could not find exact cause of error. To replicate you can input severly in multiple threads same query to oracle so it cannot get timeout values or cannot serve incoming requests withing certain allowed timeframes. If you are using a RAC , it cannot SYNC those cache and memory dumps in GCS , PGA, and SGA, thus inconsistent state.
