Obtaining Bean Configuration Information (JMX)
Hi,
I am trying to gather information about beans deployed in WLS 6.x and I am
running into a problem. The information that I need (for example max beans
in cache) is available through the EntityCacheMBean. Through careful reverse
engineering and dissambling weblogic classes I found a path to it:
1. Look up MBeans of type "EJBComponent" and cast it to EJBComponentMBean
2. Get the EJBDescriptor by calling EJBComponentMBean's getEJBDescriptor()
method
3. getWeblogicEJBJarMBean()
4. getWeblogicEnterpriseBeans()
5. getEntityDescriptor()
6. getEntityCache()
The problem I have is that in step 2, getEJBDescriptor() returns null until
I take the console application and open the bean's deployment descriptor
itself; once I have the console open it then getEJBDescriptor() returns a
valid value and I can continue all the way down to the getEntityCache()
method..
So my question is how do I ask Weblogic to "Edit the EJB Descriptor"? Is
there an MBean method to do this?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Almost all of my service bus has the following issue. The error message I have from the Management Portal was "An error occurred while retrieving the Service Bus namespace configuration information. Please try again later." This happen for almost
2 days.
Anyone face the same issue? how to resolve this?Hi,
If you create a new one, did you receive the same issue? If that, I suggest you submit a ticket at:

We are in the process of removing a child domain from the forest and are down to two DCs. These are both Server 2008r2 sp1 servers, one physical and virtual (PDC). When I try to remove a DC (not the PDC emulator) I get the following error:
The operation failed because:
Active Directory Domain Services could not transfer the remaining data in directory partition DC=DomainDnsZones,DC=mydomain,DC=local to
Active Directory Domain Controller \\V-Svr03.mydomain.local.
The directory service is missing mandatory configuration information, and is unable to determine the ownership of floating single-master operation roles."
I have checked replication with repadmin /showrepl and all connections were successful. The dcdiag /test:kccEvent test on all servers passed.
Most DCdiag tests are successful. The only failure is on NCSecDesc when running dcdiag /test:NCSecDesc
Testing server: Default-First-Site\DC1-DEV-OFC
Starting test: NCSecDesc
Error NT AUTHORITY\ENTERPRISE DOMAIN CONTROLLERS doesn't have
Replicating Directory Changes In Filtered Set
access rights for the naming context:
DC=ForestDnsZones,DC=hookemup,DC=local
......................... DC1-DEV-OFC failed test NCSecDesc
In researching this I find "If you do not plan to add an RODC to the forest, you can disregard this error."
We have not successfully run ADprep /rodcPrep nor do we plan on having any Read-Only DCs, so I think we can ignor this error. We did try running ADprep /rodcPrep but got an LDAP error which I can duplicate if this is important.
Schema and Naming FSMOs are on a DC higher in the forest. RID, PDC, and Infrastructure FSMOs for the child domain are on the Virtual server (PDC).
Any guidance on where to go from here would be greatly appreciated as I have no more hair on my head to pull.Ok... I ran repadmin /showreps /v again and it shows no errors

Steps to configure Information Rights Management in SharePoint 2013 On-Premise
Hi,
What are the steps to configure Information Rights Managment [IRM] on SharePoint 2013 On-Premise.
Regards,2. PHases
1. you will have to configure a IRM server
2. You will have to integrate IRM iwth sp server.
Below article should explain all

I'm trying to setup Database Mail and send a test message, but it's not working.
I've done several step-by-steps and all and I can't get it to work. Also checked several posts in this forum but none helped. I think it used to work before (2 months ago) but we had to turn it off.
I've enabled it in Surface Configuration, have tried recreating all profiles, restarted SQL Agent, checked version mismatch...
I check the Database Mail and I get the following message:

Network Load Balancing - "access denied" when loading configuration information from host2
We have 2 Windows 2012 R2 servers, both are running on workgroup.
We set up NLB cluster. When we open NLB Manager on the server2, then message shows "loading configuration information. Access denied. Error connecting to server1".
There is no issue doing this on server1, NLB Manager is able to connect to both servers. We login using default administrator account, both account name and password are the same for 2 servers.
When we check security event log on server1, there is this strange Audit Failure log using account "test_nlb" from server2 which related to "Access denied" error. Please let us know how to resolve this. Thanks in advance.

This event is generated when a logon request fails. It is generated on the computer where access was attempted.
The Subject fields indicate the account on the local system which requested the logon. This is most commonly a service such as the Server service, or a local process such as Winlogon.exe or Services.exe.
The Logon Type field indicates the kind of logon that was requested. The most common types are 2 (interactive) and 3 (network).
The Process Information fields indicate which account and process on the system requested the logon.
The Network Information fields indicate where a remote logon request originated. Workstation name is not always available and may be left blank in some cases.
The authentication information fields provide detailed information about this specific logon request.
- Transited services indicate which intermediate services have participated in this logon request.
- Package name indicates which sub-protocol was used among the NTLM protocols.
- Key length indicates the length of the generated session key. This will be 0 if no session key was requested.Hi Zhong Gang,
When you are using Network Load Balancing (NLB) Manager, you must be a member of the Administrators group on the host that you are configuring, or you must have been delegated
the appropriate authority. If you are configuring a cluster or host by running NLB Manager from a computer that is not part of the cluster, you do not have to be a member of the Administrators group on that computer. Please disable your nodes firewall and
try again.

OSB: What is best practice for reading configuration information
I'm trying to establish the best way to utilise configuration information within OSB. At present I have a standard Java style properties file and Java callout to get certain information and I have also been experimenting with Dynamic Routing using an XML based Xquery resource.
The latter appears to me the best approach and is described on page 3-40 of the OSB User Guide but it appears to be configurable only from the OSB console and not as a resource from within Workshop. Ideally I'd like to configure an XML resource file that is loaded from disk at OSB startup and then be able to use that via an XQuery.
How have other people addressed the issue of getting access to parameter/control values at run time? Can you please elaborate a little on what you mean by making it available "via a OSB Server URL" What I have done:
1) Created simple web application in domain directory.
Sample web.xml
<web-app xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee" xmlns:web="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/web-app_2_5.xsd" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/web-app_2_5.xsd" id="WebApp_ID" version="2.5">
<display-name>Sample</display-name>
<welcome-file-list>
<welcome-file>properties.xml</welcome-file>
</welcome-file-list>
</web-app>
2) Deploy this web application in exploded format using weblogic console(http://localhost:7001/console) in the OSB domain instance.
3) properties.xml is available via http://localhost:7001/Sample
4) Use the above URL in your service callout.
and how this avoids File IO and how it is cached? I'm not sure what you mean here.If we are using Java callout , we have to create File and close the File handle every time. There is this over head in creating/reading file in java every time java callout is used. This over head can be avoided if the XML is available over http. I'm quite sure that weblogic server will cache this XML file by default (What use is webserver if it cannot cache static content?), as this is not dynamic content. Is there a way to print my Fieldpoint configuration information
Is there a way to print my Fieldpoint configuration information including communication parameters, module types and names, channel input ranges, etc. other than doing a screen dump for each configuration dialog?
AntonAnton,
Unfortunately I don't know of any other way to get a printout of all the FieldPoint configuration data. The iak file is binary so you can't print that and a MAX report does not contain all the information.
I think this would be a great idea for a product suggestion though.

Failed to obtain image version information from Aperture library
Mac OS X 10.10.1 (yes, Yosemite...)
Aperture 3.6
Lightroom 5.7,1 (CC version)
When trying to import some libraries from aperture I get this immediate response "Failed to obtain image version information from Aperture library".
In the plug-in import window, Number of image/video files is "undetermined", as well as Disk space required.
Tried with different Aperture libraries, but with the same negative result.
The plug-in worked in previous Lightroom version or when it was a stand alone plug-in.

StefanoOK, here is the workaround I did to migrate all my images.
1. I broke down my Aperture library into separate libraries based on year (highlight all the 2014 projects, for example, right click, and "export to library")
2. Import each separate library into Lightroom, one at a time.
3. Delete the year-based libraries - and leave your original library on the drive (in case you need it in the future).
I found I had one project in my 2013 photos which was causing Lightroom's scan of my database to fail. So I ended up creating metadata riders for that one project and imported it after I got the rest of my images imported. -
Configuration information is only available in SAP Solution Manager.
Configuration information is only available in SAP Solution Manager.
I always read about this.
But how find it in the sol man system actually?
Thanks very much.Hi
do you mean IMG configuration of ABAP scenarios?
when you create the project in solution manager you can see all its configuration information on the tabs(TA Solar_project_Admin)
for the ABAP scenarios, executable configuration files (IMGs) are available. SAP Solution Manager has the capability of executing the ABAP scenarios IMG files during the configuration and management of the system landscape(TA Solar02)
I could suggest please go the link service.sap.com/solutionmanager.for needed informantion

SUM Error Configuration Information Gathering
Hello all
I'm a bit stuck. I started a SUM to update our Solution Manager from 71 SP4 to SP 11. Downloaded SUM and started it. It got through the Extraction phase OK but at the Configuration - Information Gathering phase I have encountered a problem.
Error while executing Task with input file ReadProfiles.xml and task READ_DB_DRIVER_LOCATION. Task READ_DB_DRIVER_LOCATION not found in configuration file ReadProfiles.xml.
And indeed, there is no mention of READ_DB_DRIVER_LOCATION in the xml file. SUM release details:
Software Update Manager Version: 1.0
Support Package Version: 10
Patch Level: 8
I have tried to reset update and presented with
Unable to reset the upgrade
Unable to execute the SDT request list SUM
Revoke is not allowed for the current operation configure.
So it seems I need to fix the problme before I proceed any further. I was planning on downloading a later release or support package of the current release of SUM.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Ray PhillipsHi
Have you check the here under note (if you are using Oracle) ?

1161052 - Add. Info: SAPehpi/SUM for Systems on Oracle
Before you start the EHP Installation please check your Oracle JDBC driver.
The Software Update Manager takes the JDBC driver from the location specified in entry "rdbms.driverLocation" within file "/usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE<nr>/j2ee/cluster/bootstrap/bootstrap.property". The driver specified in that entry is then copied to directory "SUM/java/lib" during the prepare process in the phase "READ_DB_DRIVER_LOCATION".
Later on, during the phases: "DETERMINE_JAVA_PORTS" or "GET_DMT_DB_INF", you may encounter the following errors in case of an outdated JDBC driver specified in the above mentioned bootstrap.property file:

The local node entry in Cluster Configuration information does not match wi
In installing 10.1.0.3 CRS on Solaris 8 x86, I keep getting the error, "The local node entry in Cluster Configuration information does not match with the entry in /etc file." Both addresses are defined in the /etc/inet/hosts and are pingable. There seems to be no way to get past this issue. Earlier I installed 10.2.0.1 CRS on SLES9 SP2 on a system with the same network settings and had no problem. Is there some way to force the installer to accept the addresses given and proceed past this step?
All,
I think there can be two problems
1.
if your host file looks as follows
# Public
192.168.2.x rac1.localdomain rac1
192.168.2.x rac2.localdomain rac2
#Private
192.168.0.x rac1-priv.localdomain rac1-priv
192.168.0.x rac2-priv.localdomain rac2-priv
#Virtual
192.168.2.x rac1-vip.localdomain rac1-vip
192.168.2.x rac2-vip.localdomain rac2-vip
then you should be able to do rsh or ssh sucessfully for each aliases at least one from each nodes
(ex)
on node rac1
ssh rac1 date
ssh rac1.localdomain date
ssh rac2 date
ssh rac2.localdomain date
2. you should create user equivalance on all the nodes as follows
Edit the /etc/hosts.equiv file to include all the RAC nodes:
+rac1 oracle
+rac2 oracle
+rac1-priv oracle
+rac2-priv oracle -
Portal Err :WWV-41439 - You cannot login as no configuration information
Hi friends,
I am using Oracle Application server 9.0.4. I have already using discoverer and other components.
Now, when I have started Portal Builder after configuring it using the link as below :
http://host_name.domain_name:7777/pls/portal.
It shows a link for the login. When I click to that link, it shows the error like,
"WWV-41439 - You cannot login because there is no configuration information stored in the enabler configuration table."
In Action to solve this error it is return I should add domain name with hostname in ServerName. I cannot understand where I need to do the modification.fyi..
was able to resolved as a result of the following notes:
134729.1, 144643.1, 123133.1, 121497.1
There are seven scripts that I needed to run -
my initial mistake was that I mistyped the URL by including port 80. The
scripts must be run without specifying port 80

4. Delete FileCache.dat files from the Dreamweaver user configuration folder.
> I find no such file(s) anywhere

Translator not load ASP.htm invalid configuration information
I received this message when starting dreamweaver this
morning: "Translator not loaded, invalide configuration information
ASP.htm" How do I get the valid configuration information? I
examined the translator file ASP.htm, and from what I could tell,
it was not corrupted.
Thanks in advance,
RichardIt's posted hundreds of times here. A quick search would have
found it....
You can try this simple fix -
Quit DW.
Find this folder -
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat
(these folders are normally hidden - you may have to use
Explorer > Tools >
Folder Options to unhide them)
or on Mac -
Library/Application Support/Macromedia/Dreamweaver
8/Configuration/MacFileCache-*.dat
and delete it.
Restart DW. Works better?
