OCCI working in VS6.0 and giving error in VS2005 - Please help

I am trying to recompile one of the OCCI program I have created in VS6.0, in VS2005. I am ending up with errors.
During
env = Environment::createEnvironment (Environment::DEFAULT);
lot of DLLs (oranro10.dll, orantcp10.dll,oranhost10.dll, ORANCDS10.DLL, orantns10.dll, ORAPLS10.DLL,ORASLAX10.DLL, ORAPLP10.DLL, orahasgen10.dll etc...) are saying Cannot find or open a required DBG file.
During
conn = env->createConnection (user, passwd, db);
Unhandled exception at 0x612f89e9 in occitrail.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0xcccccccc.
Whether any body has idea why this error is happending and What I have to do for not to get this error.

Hello,
to be on the safe side I advise to do :
- install Oracle 10.2.0.3.0 Instant Client (not sure whether version 10.1. is causing the problem with your OCCI software)
- install the OCCI 10.2.0.3.0 Patch 13
- clean & rebuild your application linking the oraocci10.lib or oraocci10d.lib (debug version) provided with the patch
The problem of your application could be caused by different runtime versions of the microsoft mfc/crt runtime libraries used by your main program and occi dll. - Welcome to DLL/Manifest hell ;-)
You can have a look at the manifest file you got with the OCCI patch, there you see which runtime DLLs OCCI is expecting.
You can check which Microsoft runtime DLLs are loaded using the software 'dependency walker'. Just make sure ONLY one version of the runtime will be loaded (e.g. mfc80.dll, msvc80.dll ... VC80 versions are used with VS2005).
Check if your application is loading the new, patched OCCI DLL (oraocci10.dll) not some old ones....

Itunes Store won't load and no error message. Please help!

I have windows 7 and when I go into itunes (version 10.5) and click on the itunes store it begins to load but never finishes loading. I have removed all anit-virus software, tried to re install all itunes software on my computer, and tried the netsh winsock reset in the comand prompt. This is so frustrating and I know that many other people are having the same issue. What should I do? Please Help!!!!

I have the same problem. I have 64-bit Windows 7, all updates installed, anti-virus uninstalled, and have a specific firewall exception made just for iTunes, however the iTunes Store still refuses to load. After waiting a (very long) period of time I get the following screen:
Sometimes I won't get this screen at all, and iTunes will finish loading with a blank screen. All of my other computers can load iTunes perfectly fine. This error occurred directly following the iOS 5 update for my iPhone. Seeing as that the only computer affected was the one updating my iPhone, I figure there's some connection between the two. Apple Support tried to help with my request but for some reason refused to listen to the notion that this problem occured because of an iOS5 update (and iTunes 10.5). The only thing I haven't done is wipe my harddrive, which seems to be the only option now.
Somebody please help.

IChat giving error with Leopard - Please Help

Hi,
I just upgraded to the latest version of Leopard. However I am unable to launch iChat.
When I click on the iChat icon it just does nothing and after a while it comes back with the message:
"You have been disconnected from iChat services.
An internal error occurred that disconnected you from all iChat services. To resume using iChat, log in again to your instant messaging account."
Well even when I reboot and restart I get the same message. I tried to reinstall iChat still not working, I even deleted the .plist file from the Library>Preferences and still no good.
Interesting thing is when I Click on iChat->Accounts it shows as no accounts configured.
What happened to my pre-upgrade accounts??? Everything pretty much is grayed out so I can't even go to Preferences.
Can someone please advise/help as how I can get this issue resolved.

Power down your Computer, Any router and your Modem.
Restart the Modem and wait for it to light up to say it is connected.
Restart the Router if you have one, allowing it to settle.
Restart the computer.
If this does not solve it straight away then I would try a PRAM reset.
Shut down the computer.
Restart it holding down APPLE(or ⌘ )ALT+PR Keys until you have heard three Start Up Bongs.

MySite – My Content Page is not working and giving error for existing customers

We are using SharePoint 2010 and recently moved to SharePoint 2013. Central Admin run under SP 2013 and Content Db Front End run under SP 2010.
After migration the MySite – My Content Page is not working and giving error for existing customers (http://mysite.ss.com/_layouts/MySite.aspx?Error=4705).
New users (after migration) are able access the My Content and adding documents but old users can’t.
Can anyone help me on the above?

I think you might be using non claims web app in 2010, if that is the case, you 'd need to convert your existing users to claims users for which you can refer to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg251985(v=office.15).aspx
to check if your exisiting users are claims or classic users , try
get-spuser -web http://mysite.ss.com -limit all
check in the output if you see the claims GUID in form of user names like i:0#.w|domain\username, if yes, they claims users if you just see Domain\username, you want those users to be converted to calims.
i'd need more details to be specific about my answer but aforementioned scenario is most common of all, hope this helps,

What OS is on the Install/Restore DVD that came wit your G5? If Tiger 10.4.x, you will need a black, retail Leopard install DVD. There is no free download of Leopard, only free updates once you have installed the base OS.
First use your Mac's Install/Restore DVD to install an OS & apps. Then upgrade the OS.
Leopard is no longer available at the Apple Store *but may be available by calling Apple Phone Sales @ 1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753)*.

If once the ledger options finished, and it gets the status completed, can't we modify the Ledger options in future.

Turn on the dynamic insert for your chart of account structure.
Make sure you have at least one value in each of the value value set attached to COA segments. Make sure retained earning account value exists in your Account value set.
Now you will be able to pick your retained earnings account in Accounting Setups screen.
After completing your ledger setup you will be able to modify some options like suspense account, reversal set, future enterable periods etc.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

I had this exact issue. Spent over an hour on the phone with apple support, they couldn't resolve. Here is what I ended up doing, that worked.
1. Turned iTunes match off on all my iOS devices
2. Deleted the offending playlists from the iOS device they originated on
3. Started iTunes, let it run (literally) for an hour before it became responsive. First thing I did, before clicking anywere else was disable iTunes match. If I clicked anywhere, it would clock for another hour.
4. Let iTunes run overnight, by morning it had cleaned out the repeating play lists. This got my Mac/iTunes back to an operable state.
5. Restore iPhones from backup in iTunes.
What was causing my issue was a single playlist that was created on an iPhone, then suddenly showed up with several thousand duplicates on my other iPhone. The culprit playlist did not, for some reason, duplicate itself on my two iPads. Apple support seemed to think it was because the problem iPhone tried to sync the playlist to iCloud over and over again unsuccessfully, then it finally went through and populated the thousands of blank/failed playlists which then tried to propigate to iTunes and my other iOS devices. Seems like a reasonable theory.
I have not yet re-enabled iTunes match. So, no idea what will happen if I decide to go back down that rabbit hole.

Please describe the problem in as much relevant detail as possible. The "etrecheck" fad hasn't made that step any less necessary. The usual results of posting etrecheck output on this site without a full description of the problem are very poor.
The many "failed" warnings that etrecheck sometimes spews mean nothing. Those warnings are not a reason to reinstall the OS, or to do anything else at all. They should be ignored.
The better your description of the problem, the better the chance of a solution.
For example, if the computer is slow, which specific actions are slow? Is it slow all the time, or only sometimes? What changes did you make, if any, just before it became slow? Have you seen any alerts or error messages? Have you done anything to try to fix it? Most importantly, do you have a current backup of all data? If the answer to the last question is "no," back up now. Ask if you need guidance. Do nothing else until you have a backup.
