Octroi is not calculating on Freight value

Hello,
We are maintained  all the conditions in PO conditions tab. Inclucding of Frieght conditions.
here Octroi is not calculating on Freight value.
If suppose the frieght vendor is different then it is ok to calculted Octri without frieght,
If suppose the Frieght vendor is same as Main vendor then Octri should calculte on including of fright value.

Mahesh Naik

Hello,
In pricing schema We have given the 361 as ALT CBV to octroi condition (JOCM), to calculate the octroi percentage on Octroi Base value that is basic Price excise dutysales tax.
As per requirement 361, system should fetch the octroi base value from taxation procedure to pricing schema

  • Excise duty getting calculated on freight value

    Hi frnds,
I have an excisable material and the freight charge (FRA2) for this material.Tax procedure is TAXINN.
My issue is - during MIRO the excise duty is calculated on the material as well as on the freight charges. My client does not want excise duty to be calculated on freight charges.
Do I have to look the config for pricing schema or anything else.
    Need your advice...
    Regards,
    Sachin Narvekar

    Hi,
As per taxation , on Freight there will be always Service Tax, so create a Service Tax code and assign in MIRO with Planned Delivery Cost. If your vendor is same for material as well as Frt, if possible create a new vendor code for Frt as service vendor.

  • Condition Records not to be calculated if base value is negative

    Dear all
I have configured a pricing procedure which is being used while performing DP90 with reference to service order. Now the values are getting populated in condition type EK02 and based on this value various other charges like service tax, supervision charges are getting calculated.(condition records have been maintained for condition types related to these charges). Is it possible that these charges do not get calculated if the value in EK02 is negative?????

You can create a routine where you can put the check. And assign it to pricing procedure for all the condition types you don't want negative value for.
    Thanks

  • Tax condition value is not calculating based on condition rate maintained

    Hi,
I have maintained the condition rate as 4% for a condition type against a tax code in FV11. and also the validity period is correct.
But when I select the tax code in purchase order and click on taxes button, some other condition value is coming in condition value field for that condition type. for example the PO price is 100Rs. the condition value has to  be 4% on 100Rs that is 4Rs. but some constant value is coming 5, even if change the condition rate in FV11 as 0%, the condition value is coming as 5 only.
    Does anybody faced this issue.??

    Hi
for example the PO price is 100Rs. the condition value has to be 4% on 100Rs that is 4Rs. but some constant value is coming 5, even if change the condition rate in FV11 as 0%, the condition value is coming as 5 only.
    try this
change your PO value and then observed the changes ,IF then  your are getting value different than 5 ,then i think there is no problem in your tax  procedure because you are saying after 0% in FV11 also your are get 5 only in PO
as per me you can not put any constant value in tax procedure ,we only map how tax calculation will below for condition
and check your condition record for that vat condition again in FV13

  • Freight value not taking in net value--Urgent

    Hi,
While creating purchase order freight condition valude FRB1 not taking in net value.
    Please help its is urgent.
    Regards,
    Ravindra

    Hi Ravindra
You need post seperate invoices in case where the vendors are different, If the supply vendor and freight provider are same, you can post both costs in once invoice. Select the goods+delivery costs to make one invoice verification.
In general, freight value will not be added even the vendor is same. Inturn both item cost and delivery cost are processed in one invoice.
If you want, you can include the freght in net by maintaining the freight condition as not an accrual.
But, just for this sake, you should not modify your pricing procedure.

    Plz suggest.
    Thanks,
    Ram

    Hi Ram,
This looks like a KEDR derivation issue. Please check the condition tab in the derivation rule for account assignment group CA. If this does not help then please check if you clear the Freight value field in exit COPA0001 (Trans-SMOD).

  • Freight value during vendor returns not required

    Hi,
In PO along with PO price PBXX we have a manual condition for freight. When a GR is done the freight value(credit entry) would show in the accounting document. When returns to vendor is done with movement 122 the freight value again shows in the accounting document as debit entry.
The requirement is that the freight value is not required for returns to vendor(mvt 122).
    Please advice.
    Regards,
    Pratap

You are right, you can opt for returns 122 movement due to quality reasons when material is GR but invoice is not done,
Whereas goods returns through p.o(161 movement) is done when you do goods returns after invoice posting.
But accounting entries were correct for both cases.
How frieght is considered for your business ?

  • BED is not calculating values after enter Excise Invoice number in MIGO

    Hi,
    We are doing a process of MB01 --> J1IEX --> MIGO.
At the time of J1IEX, we entered the Excise Invoice number and date. After that when we change the quantity, then BED is automatically change.
But at the time of MIGO, when we enter the Excise Invoice number, then BED is not calculating as calculated in J1IEX earlier.
This was working fine before apply the Patch. I think this is due to Patch because in our Development system still working fine but we have apply the Patch in Quality Server..there this problem comes..
Please guide what should be configuration changes has been done after apply the patch.
    Applied Patch is: - SAPKH60015 & SAPKH60016..
    Plz guide..

    hi
i think your doing something wrong
i think first when u did j1iex then in MIGo u have to go for ONLY REFER INVOICE option
better you go for other process
DO GR for required quantity say 5 out of 10 without excise
then do J1iex  with reference to GR number

  • BPC75NW - Periodic Amount Not Calculating for records with blank YTD value

We are on BPC75NW SP6 and have a YTD consolidation application.  Data is loaded on a monthly basis uising a process of importing data files from supplying systems and then loading them into BPC using the data manager append function with a transformation file.  YTD amounts are as expected and 'most' periodic amounts are also calculated correctly via MDX mesures in reporting.  However, in situations where we have a P&L YTD balance in one month (say January) and then in the next month (February) there is no longer a YTD balance in that P&L account, no record is loaded for February YTD and the system is not calculating any February periodic amount.  Example:
January - Load $100 to a P&L Account which is the YTD amount
The January YTD amount = $100.
The January Periodic amount = $100.
February - Load no record to the same P&L account as above (as the YTD amount is now 0)
The February YTD amount in the system is blank
The February Periodic amount in the system is blank (This should be a NEGATIVE $100)
As a possible work around we have also tried to load a 0 to February.  The data manager package shows the record as loaded successfully but since it is a 0 it really does not put it into the database.
Surely someone out there has already hit this situation and is willing to share the solution.
    Thank you,
    Vicki S.

This problem was resolved by installing SAP Note 1405993 - MDX: Error: Invalid MDX command with
CURRENTMEMBER.  The current text on the note does not describe our error but SAP will not extend the text to cover this issue.
Prior to installing this note, the following other notes were also installed but they did not fix the periodic calculation issue.  Under SAP's advisement we are going to leave them however as 'they should not have any side effects':
1529720 MDX: No data for calculated member and metadata reference
1590976 MDX: Incorrect data for IIF
1584196 MDX: Calculated members and different dimensions
    1528374 MDX: System error GET_PRPTY_VALUE-02-
I will now close this message.

  • Freight value to  add in material cost

    HI.
I have freight condition FRA1 i which i ticked Accrual key in M/06,I have assigned FR6 account key to it in pricing.I don't want to calculate the tax on freight ,so i ticked statistics key in Pricing for Freight cond.(FRA1)
Then also freight value is not adding in material cost .
    What would be the reason?
    Please provide suitable solution.
    Thanx & Regards

    Hi,
Normally if you mention statistics for a condition, then the value will not add to material cost. You remove the statistics for the condition.
Also check for that condition type, have you maintained accrual check box.(tick mark for accrual inside condition type).
If you dont want to add frieght value for tax calculation, then give the step number accordingly.
    Regards,
    Prabu

  • Freight (value) always mandatory under conditions

    Hi,
I want to maintain that freight (value) costs will be always mandatory for vendors with custom schema. I tried it to set in SPRO>MM>Purchasing>Conditions>Define price determination process> Define calculation schema and under control data for schema for example: Z001 I set that FRB1 Freight (Value) with field manual not checked, field required. You can see result enclosed. There is value zero, and cannot be replaced. This value can be replaced in conditions at item level. But I want to control this condition at document level. I can not find any solutions.
    Thank you

It's a standard behavior, you have to entered the condition type manually in header condition, only then you can able to see the amount for condition type as editable.
If the condition type is coming automatically from calculation schema, then you can't enter amount directly in header condition.
You have to enter it manually in header condition.
But as you have maintained this condition type as required in calculation schema, then you also have to maintained it at item level.
    You can follow the steps.
    1. Maintain the condition type as manual and required in calculation schema.
    2. At the time of PO creation :
2A. Maintain the condition type at header level manually.
2B. Then maintain the same in item level manually.
2C. You can see two same condition types in item level. Then delete the Item level's condition type (which is editable (amount) in Item level).
    Then check the same.
For more details have a look into the document Freight charges or discount mandatory for particular vendor.

  • Due date not calculated in F-28

    Hello,
Can anyone tell me if in standard SAP, in F-28 (incoming payment) why the due date (or payment date) is not calculated ?
I fulfilled posting date and document date (both 01/09/2009) and payment terms also (Z100 - 90 days end of month), but after saving the document and when i check it in FB03, i found that payment date (or due date) still 01/09/2009 and not 30/11/2009.
Can someone explain why and in which cases SAP dosn't calculate the due date ?
In advance, thank you for help

    Hi,
The transaction F-28 - Incoming payment, in general it is used for receiving payments.  Then what is your requirement to calculate due data from posting date of this document.  Are you referring to value date in the bank item?  The due date will be calculated from baseline date in invoice, in this case you need to check the baseline date in the invoice (open item), right?
Correct me, if my understanding on your requirement is wrong.
    thanks,
    Kumar
