BI Services Getting down when Log-Off the system

Hi All,
Recently I have installed BI 11.1.1.7.0 on window 2008 R2, everything working fine, when I log off the system my services automatically getting down, so that I could not work on BI Answers , so what needs to be done even if I log off my machine also the service need to run in the background, any inputs plz..

The ear file contains the front end application from where the reports are called. I have created a new J2EE instance and deployed the application in the form of ear file there.
After tuning the opmn.xml file following Metalink Doc. Id 261867.1 adding a value of pingtimeout, I found the OC4J_BI_FORMS was not shutting down the inprocess reports server and I was unable to generate reports by giving values from URL. But when I deploy the ear file in the newly created J2EE instance, the OC4J_BI_FORMS is shutting down . Now when I try to start the infrastructure components the OC4J_SEcurity is showing Database dependancy failed although OID and HTTP server components are up.

i have a production server running in windows server 2003 R 2.

Reports Services getting down when running reports using in process server

Hi,
I have applied patchset 3829014 (Containers for J2EE: Patchset PLACE HOLDER FOR OC4J STANDALONE RELEASE 9.0.4.1)
to fix the Bug No. 2670561 CPU usage becomes 100% when there is a new HTTP connection
request in the queue.
Now after reploying the *.ear file and restarting OC4J_BI_FORMS services from Enterprise Manager and starting the Reports Services if I want to run the reports from the application contained in the ear file, I find the Reports Services is down and the browser throws a 500 - Internal Server Error.
In the ipm.log file in Oracle_home\opmn\logs I find the following lines:

I can't get from where the response code of 500 is coming.
I have consulted the Doc Id 261867.1 in Metalink and has tuned the opmn.xml file as suggested there but of no use.
Urgent help in this regard is needed where I went wrong as my production Application Server has become inoperative.

3 node RAC -1 instnance getting down automatically in one node

Hi,
We have 3 node RAC system.
We are facing issue every week that one of the instance in one node among three node getting automatically restart.
During the time our transaction missing happened. Kindly advice why one node itself getting down and start automatically.

As you are facing node eviction issue, to find out reason please share following details:
1. clusterware alert log file
2. cssd.log file
3. crsd.log file
4. No. of voting disks (*sometimes if you have only one voting disk, one node will be evicted automatically as i have observed*)

SOA composites deployed in weblogic service gets triggered automatically

Hi All,
Am facing a strange behaviour in weblogic server.
Certain SOA composites deployed in weblogic server(10.3.5.0) gets triggered automatically in the midnight at 1.00 p.m and they are in running state for more than 4 hours and then the process gets faulted .
can you please let me know, is there any timer set in weblogic server .

Yes there is.
Faulted composites might be triggered automatically and try to complete.
To stop this behevior:
Go to EM home ->Right click on soa-infra -> Soa Administration -> BPEL Properties -> More BPEL Configuration Properties -> Click on "RecoveryConfig" -> Change "maxMessageRaiseSize" to 0.
This "RecoveryConfig" property holds the responsible for the Automatic Recovery

Planning services shut down automatically

Hi Guys,
We are trying to get this particular service started “./startHyperionPlanning.sh“ and currently the client is using Weblogic 9.2 mp3.Eevrything was running fine and since last week we have been facing this issue.We thought that there could be a problemw ith the admin account records being corrupted in HSP_user & as oracle suggested we went and deleted the object_id for the admin account it worked for like a day and then since then it keeps abruptly shutting down and we have to start it manually …Throws the following error down below

Check the patch on support.oracle.com. There is an issue with the pivot table and a patch is availible.

Should I need to increase -XX:MaxClassBlockMemory to 75M. If so, how should I do it, I am unaware of how I can set the values? My Planning server has 136GB Ram and 18 Cores.

The issue was related to the heap size being too much and as a result the Class block memory was not getting enough memory. I think we can make a use of -XXCompressedRefs:32 parameter in the Java start up to allow the heap size to increase till 32 Gb.

PS Batch Server Windows NT Services goes down automatically

Hi,
We're on FSCM 8.9/8.47.11 and have configured all our PS Batch Servers as Windows NT Services on Windows 2003 OS.
What we've observed is that the PS process scheduler boots fine and also processes requests, but after some time it just stops processing requests. Upon bouncing and clearing cache, the Batch server does not start and fails with the error

Did you recently installed some Windows patches or new software like antivirus or so ? I definately would raise a SR to reach help from support.
You also could have a look to the note #623311.1, we never know.

Admin Server getting down

I m new in weblogic, please help me,
I have two managed server both are clustered with running ssl port. when i m trying to stop any managed server, the admin server also getting down automatically, and I could't able to stop / start my managed server. Can any one please help me to troubleshoot. it is in weblogic 10.3.1.

After that I started having trouble with going in and out of service and battery drainage. I do have that update 5 ios... or whatever its called... but I did that about 2-3 months ago and had no problems. I called Apple and they wouldn't do a **** thing for me. I called AT&T and they reset the network... didn't work. I did a hard shut down and didn't work. Now today, every call I had was dropped. So of course this morning when I woke up at like 8:30 am by 10:30 am my battery went from 100% to 35%. ***. Can someone help me???
