OEM Product support Model SB 2

Hi All ... I have a HP pc 873n multi media computer, I had to re-format the pc and am having a hard time locating the audio drivers. It has a SoundBlaster model sb2030 audio card and I can't seem to find the drivers for the card. I checked both HP and Creative for the drivers but no luck. Anyone have any sugestions? I'm ready to go out and buy another card. I've spent hours trying to get this to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Driver for OEM card are provided by the computer vendor. I cannot find any SB2030 model. Have you contact HP support for the driver?

  • Re: Portege R830 - Can't find my model on the Product Support list

    Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Portege R830 and was trying to find the support page for my model.
However on the Product Support list, where you choose the model, I can't find which one is mine.
My model is displayed as *R830-1056UB* on the box the laptop came in and it simply says *Portege R830* on the underside of the laptop.
There are several entries for R830 on the Product Support list, but *R830-1056UB* is not one of them.
*Any ideas how I can decide which one is mine?* (I'm worried about downloading wrong software/drivers for my laptop)
I'm not in a country with a support phone number and it seems Toshiba support don't have an email contact, so I haven't been able to contact Toshiba directly for help.
Thank you in advance for your time and help!

    Hello
I dont know which Toshiba support page you have checked but if this notebook is designed for Asian market you should find it on Toshiba Asia support page.
In which country you have bought it?

  • Product support for Portege M800

    Hi all,
Recently my girlfriend gave me her TOSHIBA M800 laptop. Enlighten me pls as to why I cannot find the model M800 in Toshiba's product support tab?
The models I see there are all 805-XXXXXX.
Is 800 supposed to mean 800 series and that in fact the laptop I am having now is one of those 805-XXXXXX?
I tried to see if any of those M805-XXXXXXX match the model number I see on my laptop but none of it matches. Mine is PPM81L.
I am just trying to find out if my laptop comes with bluetooth.
    Appreciate your help on this.

    Thanks all!
I found it on the asian page.
I tried to find the manual but cannot locate it. Any kind-hearted soul can teach me how to on the bluetooth?
I read the specifications of my M800 and it states that my laptop does have bluetooth but I have no idea how to turn it on. I turned on the WIFI but I believe it is not the same, because my mobile cannot detect my lappy via bluetooth.
What I am trying to do now is to use my mobile phone as a modem and connect it to my lappy via bluetooth in order for me to surf the internet.
I am currently using windows 7 ultimate.
Any kind hearted soul knows how to do it and is willing to teach me?
Appreciate any kind of help because I am a computer idiot. Thanks.

  • Drivers product support page

not sure whats going on but i have tried 3 browsers and results are the same... the product support page will not load drivers or software for my laptop.. Envy 17 J181nr Energy star laptop running windows 8.1 all the page shows is the result ticker thing going in circles.. getting fed up

Hi: The HP support pages have not been working for several days now.  HP is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it. If you are in a hurry to get the drivers, use the ones from the HP Probook 450 G2 except the BIOS and firmware files. Most of them should work except the nVidia graphics since that model does not have the nvidia graphics adapter. http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=6943827 Try the nvidia graphics driver directly from nVidia... http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/86506/en-us

  • N97 product support?

    Hi
Not been able to find proper product support on the Nokia site, just “usually asked questions, manuals and client discussions”. Any suggestions on how to get a Nokia person to answer questions to a client instead of clients having to search for other clients possibly knowing what to do? It would be much easier than to turn in the phone on a guarantee “repair?”. Many issues; during first 6 months already several software updates, phone memory constantly full, blue tooth does not work properly with PC, …

Having dad first hand experience with many Nokia N series such as N70, N71, N73, N80, N81, N91, N93, N95, N96, N97 and now proud owner of the N900, Here is my 2 cents.
N97 seems to be for those folks who 're not going to load it up with as many SW and Apps. I went through (3) N97 and finally realized that unlike my old N95 it was not bullet proof and reliable.  So, if you own the N97, keep it as original as possible with minimum number of progams and it should work much better. But as far as upgrade if you are heavy web user, like to have power over what you install and how you install it plus if you want to be able to play almost any kind of video, use the built-in SIP function and want a fast respond speed (screen and all) + have the ability to right your own stuff (which is somewhat cool if you know how to)  then N900 is the one. The speed, reliability and versatility of N900 is unbeatable (and it dont crash, freeze and give you headache because you spend $500+ on something that dont work proeprly). The screen has one of the best resoutions for a PDA/Mobile to date and it shows when you see it. The only issues I may add is that N900 is more of a Computer based PDA than Mobile base PDA. Meaning that as Mobile phone being used to the Symbian short cuts and their ease of use and friendly configurable menu, N900 lacks that. Like your PC, everything is in some order of alphabet or date, etc and it stays that way. N900 has 4 home screens that scrolls and loops make it possible to put lots of short cuts. One of the best thing about N900 is its open source SW, making it possible for yourself or any individual to write usefull programs (and they are coming out pretty fast).
However there is something about use of touchscreen which at first attracts everyone (such as iphone buyers) but its not for everyone. I personally prefer the pointer and mouse/scroll device use over the touch device. How many times are you going to try to hit the touch screen button before you get it correctly and it works. With the pointer and scroll it is effortless and much easier. My personal preference Nokia Model to date is the N95. The functions, ease of use and bullet proof (ness) of N95 is very hard to beat. It is an old phone but it still works perfectly as mobile phone, PDA, web browser (Ok, if you use Skyfire), great MP3 and video player, document viewer, one of the best GPS devices when using Google Map and last but not least the best  camera for a mobile device (It has extended zoom which is not available on N97 or N900, not sure if X6 has it and clarity of the photos is unbelievably crisp, clear and colorful). Forgot to mention that unlike N97 and N900, The N95 built-in speakers are loud enough to hear phone converstions or music in a moving car. It beats me to why Nokia has degraded important features like this one on their "FLAGSHIP {$600} PHONES"
BTW, My friend just switched from N97 to X6 and he loves it, but........ I for one still like to use my N95 because it works and has yet to crash, freeze, break down and fail me. I can always rely on it, always.

  • How can i add  fields to a cube which is in production support

    hi,
how can i add fiels to a cube which is in production support.

    Hi Maruthi
You need to add new fields to cube in Development system and then transport it to production after testing.
Edit cube in RSA1. Add the new infoobjects from right hand directory to left hand pane and assign these new infoobjects to suitable dimensions. Save and activate the infocube. Now go to change update rules for this infocube and do proper mapping of these infoobjects.
Save & activate the update rules.
RSA1-> Transport connection-> select cube, update rules and related objects and create transport request.
After testing is done, give the transport request number to your Basis person and he will do the transports for you.

  • Production Support for Multiple BI roll-outs

    Hello BI Experts,
This might be more of an administrative question, but I will need inputs from Developer's perspective.
We are having 2 implemenation projects going on at the moment. They are sharing same ECC 6.0 & BI 7.0 landscape.
But as the 2 projects "Go-live" timings do not match, we will be having separate "Production Support" landscape for ECC containing separate DEV & QA system which will be used for Post Go-live production fixes.
So there will be 2 DEVs & 2 QAs for ECC & One Production system. At a time, only one QA will be connected to Prodution.
Do we need similar landscape for BI 7.0 or same DEV BI 7.0 can talk with 2 DEVs ECC 6.0 and same QA BI 7.0 can talk with 2 QA ECC 6.0 ?
What are the complexities of one QA BI talking with 2 QA R/3 source systems ??
    Thanks,
    Bhushan
P.S. We have SAP MDM 5.5 implemented in our landscape which manages master data.

    Thanks Ramesh for the reply.
I agree with you it is not complicated from Basis perspective to create RFCs & source system connections.
I would like to know how complicated it would be for BI Developers to manage data coming from 2 very similar ECC6.0 systems and move it across to Production without trouble.
How will they distinguish which objects are of Production support & which objects belong to current development project ?
How we can guarantee that none of the "non-production object"(which is meant for development or prototype) moves to production via some "production-fix" transport ?
    Thanks,
    Bhushan

  • Best Practices for APO Production Support

What are the best practices needs to be adopt for APO Production Support? in DP, SNP, PP/DS, CIF, APO-basis, APO -ABAP area?

I know this is not the standard way to reach you, but you answered a question long back about /SAPAPO/AMON1 - Alert Monitor.  Can this alert monitor be configured to show up in the universal worklist (UWL) in the portal?  if so would these alerts show up in the alert inbox of the uwl just as other sap alerts do? (the other alerts i speak of are those referenced here (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/3f/81023cfa699508e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm).
Or are these alerts two totally different types of functionality with the same name (ARERT) ?
    Thanks

  • Can any explain APO -DP/SNP production support.

    Hi sap gurus..
this is suresh ,i am new for APO -DP/SNP production support,
exactly what my role and responsibilities in production support, what i can do
please any one healp me i am very thankful to them.
    regards
    suresh kumar

    Hi Suresh,
    In DP/SNP production support,
    1)  You need to monitor business related background jobs on daily/weekly/monthly basis
    2)  You need to analyse and take corrective actions for failed jobs
    3)  Any production related issue, you may receive tickets and accordingly you need to analyse the issue and find out suitable solutions in line with client
    4)  Documentation activities if any needs to be carried out
    5)  For system downtimes/incidents, suitable back ups/job retriggerings needs to be done
    6)  In DP, updation of CVCs/planning book data extraction if any needs to be carried out.

  • APO-DP/SNP production support issus

    Hi sap gures
this is suresh in APO-DP/SNP production support, which kind of errors
we got regularly and how to troubleshoot and how to resolve it , please tell me .i am new for the
    production support
    Regards
    Suresh Kumar

    Dear Suresh,
In APO production support many issues can come.
The types of issues are as below:
    1. Data issues  ( this forms major %)
    2. Application issues: Bug in APO application or related applciation,
    3. Process issues: The process it self is not robust designed and issues are occuring
Within above categories,  issues occur in SAP CIF ( core interface ) applciations , Jobs , process chains.
    Issue Resolution:
For resolving the issues, first you will have study business processes implemented in the client's APO systems.
Secondly, you will have to understand APO functionlities and direct these to appropriate resources, if you can not solve.
You can first refer the issue database to check if similar issues occured earlier  for a quick solution.
Otheriwise you can raise a query on SDN forum.
Good monirtoing of the background jobs, process chains, other interafces and promot action to rectify the job failures, helps to reduce the subsequent  issues occuring.
    Regards
    Datta

  • Issues in production support

    hi,
can any one  send me documents related to Production support issues and how to fix them.
you can mail me at [email protected]
    thanks,
    ram.

    Hi,
Normally the production support activities include
    Scheduling
    R/3 Job Monitoring
    B/W Job Monitoring
Taking corrective action for failed data loads.
Working on some tickets with small changes in reports or in AWB objects.
The activities in a typical Production Support would be as follows:
    1. Data Loading - could be using process chains or manual loads.
    2. Resolving urgent user issues - helpline activities
    3. Modifying BW reports as per the need of the user.
    4. Creating aggregates in Prod system
    5. Regression testing when version/patch upgrade is done.
    6. Creating adhoc hierarchies.
    Also refer these posts:

    production support
frequent load failures during extractions and how to analyse them?
If these failures are related to Data, there might be data inconsistency in source system. Though we are handling properly in transfer rules. We can monitor these issues in T-code -> RSMO and PSA (failed records) and update.
If we are talking about whole extraction process, there might be issues of work process scheduling and IDoc transfer to target system from source system. These issues can be re-initiated by canceling that specific data load and ( usually by changing Request color from Yellow - > Red in RSMO). and restart the extraction.
As to frequent failures and errors , there is no fixed reason for the load to be fail , if you want it for the interview perspective I would answer it in this way.
    a) Loads can be failed due to the invalid characters
    b) Can be because of the deadlock in the system
    c) Can be because of previous load failure , if the load is dependant on other loads
    d) Can be because of erroneous records
    e) Can be because of RFC connections
These are some of the reasons for the load failures.

  • APO  DP production  support

Qn:  How to prepare for the job of  DP Production support role?
    My situation:
I have a good understanding of the functionality and have gone through the student guide
    TO help you bainstorm:
1/what are the most useful documents that I need to get? Like Blue printing doc, configuration Doc
2.What should be my approach and Plan  for the first week--Like first read extensively all teh documents or first speak to the APO consultant who participated in the implemenation
3.What are the various sources which help me prepare betetr for this role? I am very disappointed at not being able to find any book or documentaton focused on production support issues? Like the common ones running batch jobs etc.....
Ex: SDN forum,it tool box, Any material from help.sap.com
I am just trying to do my best.
Apart from the above issues please feel free to post any other relevant things tat I need to concentrate on
    Thanks a lot

    Hi,
In order to efficiently provide such supports, first of
all, understanding of the business process end to end
    is mandatory.
Afterwards, try understanding the business master
    data, configurations, enhancements etc.,
Later on, understand their pain areas etc., during the
    implementation.
After collecting all such data, work out simulation
results so that during support, these can be extensively
    utilised
