Offline adobe through E-Mail

Is it possible to make Adobe offline form work via E-mail, so that the user may email the filled form as an attachment and the data may be updated in the server.
Plz Do Help.

Hi,
One possible way of achieving this scenario is to send an offline adobe interactive form filled with data via mail to a configured email ID (this id will be picked dynamically from GP runtime while generating the form) .
Once the form is received in GP runtime, a process can be initiated passing all the data available in the form. And then in this GP process call a background service or other callable objects to use this data as you want.

Hi to all,
Please can anyone tell me, what INBOUND MAIL PROCESSING in SAP for Offline ADOBE FORM?
What is concept and how to use it, is any program need to write for that or only need to configure it.
I have searched the SDN, but only get topic how to configure inbound mail processing.
I am new to this area; please any one put some light on it.

Hi Pavneet,
Inbound processing of an offline adobe form consists of several things -
a) an email id to be created on the server (to accept the mail & process the adobe form - this needs to have the right roles)
b) the smtp config needs to be done by basis
c) the abap developer needs to create a handler class that gets called when an email is recd in SAP. This handler class has 3-4 methods (first to read the mail and extract the pdf, convert data in pdf to the abap variable, process the form to do the specific function in sap (which will vary from requirement to another).

First For populating data into Adobe Form we need to create a Webservices or what else.
Second My validation included Material Numbers,Serial Numbers etc.
About the requirment.........I have to send a offline Adobe form to person and he/she will make entries into that form (No Connection through SAP System ).
Then after it will revert to respective person for further edition and submitted to SAP System(SAP Connected)
Please advise the same.

CRM 2007 sp 4 Adobe Interactive Forms requirement
We intend to develop an Offline Adobe Interactive form which we are going to pass to Outlook through Groupware Integration to represent a customer visit to enable our sales people to record customer visits whilst in the field
Once the visit details have been saved to the offiline form the data in the form needs to be submitted to our system. From what i can see we have three options for this to take place: by Email / WebServices / WebDynpro-Upload can be used to post the data back to the CRM system.
What are the pros and cons of the three upload options?
Which is the easiest to implement?

As per your replies, what i understand is : in the form properties, i have mapped the data source to context node (my data node) and pdfsource to (xstring content). And the template source should be mapped to the form name. Is this so?
If yes, i have tried this and i m able to see the form now.
But lets say, if they upload any other form, then this will lead to dump, isnt it ? Since the form template is mapped with a form name.
In wd java examples,. they mapped it as 'View.Form.xdp', i thought that the template soruce is dynamically gets mapped.
Any pointers on this, this would help.

Did you try deleting the mail account, then adding it back? I've read a lot of times that is what needs to happen in order for it to work properly.

Invoice is not sent through e-mail (RRB)

Invoice has been created and saved, mail will be sent to the concern user after the batch job done.
Here the invoice has not been sent to the user through the e-mail.
The error log saysUnable to process output for consolidated invoice; Please use VF23 to process consolidated

We send the invoices to the concern users through e-mails by running background job.
In this particular invoice the error occured " Unable to process output for consolidated invoice; Please use VF23 to process consolidated"as mentioned.
Its not invoice list it is an Invoice.
But not sure why system gives the error.

For e.g., I need to print my internal table around 3-4 lines along with header&footer(only 1st page)in page 1. From 2nd page onwards Internal table should print header and use remaining page til end.

if it's a message coming from your yahoo account, it means that your account has been compromised, not your phone itself. i would suggest changing the password for your email account

Is there any way, to create with Adobe Muse HTML-Mail Templates? or to convert the createt page to only html content? any other tool like an website copyer?

Off the top of my head, you should be able to create mail templates in muse BUT it will require very basic html/css knowledge on your part. I am assuming you want to do just the signature?
Create the design you would like on one page, dont do any kind of styling in a master page. Then export the site into a folder. Open the html file with notepad/ textedit and then copy just the code for JUST the template. Throw it in you mail app of choice and it should work.
This seems like something that would be done alot quicker in dreamweaver in design view.
PLEASE NOTE: ^i could be completely wrong - but in theory this may work.

Error while opening the ADOBE FORM via mail

Hi to all,
I have created a program to attached ADOBE FORM to mail.
When I execute the program, it sends ADOBE FORM to my mail ID successfully.
But when I open my mail and try to open attached ADOBE FORM, it gives error
ADOBE READER COULD NOT OPEN u2018PDF FORM (1). PDFu2019 because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged ( for example, it was sent as an email attached and wasnu2019t correctly decoded).
Please can any tell me, what the problem is and what the solution is for that?

I see you are using LastPass. Could that add-on be interfering with your login?? You could try disabling it temporarily under Tools > Add-ons to test that theory.

Variable file name through Receiver mail Communication channel

I need to send a file through receiver communication channel with the following name ( YYMMDD schema) . The YYMMDD is current date . I know how to create these file names throug FCC ( file communication channel) , I tried in the same manner to create this file through Receiver Mail CC , but it did not work . If you have any ideas , can you please share with me ?
