OIM AD Group Object Classes

Hello
I need to add an additional object class to AD groups that are created from OIM. I am using OIM 9.1.0.2 and trying to update the lookup.ad.configuration ldapgroupobject class from "group" to "group | PosixGroup" and it looks like this is not taking. Does anyone know a good way to get the additional object class added when creating new groups in AD? Any help you can give would be appreciated.
Nick

Anyone able to help on this? I have opened a ticket but not getting anything from them on it.
Thanks for the help
Nick

  • Oracle Access Manager Configuration : Cannot find the Person Object Class

    Hi,
I am trying to install OAM , I am getting the following error when i am configuring the Identity server for the first time.
    1) I have installed OID. I am using one OID for both config and user data.
    2) I have installed Identity server and have modified the OID schema automically during installation.
    3) I have installed web pass.
I have gone to the url: http://trn-ps-oid.oracle.com:7777/identity/oblix
Here i gone to Identity System Console to configure Identity server.
Following are the config data i have given
    Configuration DN : dc=mydomain,dc=com
    Search Base : dc=mydomain,dc=com
    Host : mypc.mydomain.com
    Port Number : 389
    Root DN : cn=orcladmin
    Root Password : *******
Directory Server Security Mode : Open
Is the Configuration data stored in this directory also : Yes
    Person Object Class : inetorgperson
    Auto configure objectclass : yes
    Group Object Class : groupOfUniqueNames
    Auto configure objectclass : yes
After this I have clicked on the restart server button.
It comes back to the page asking to enter Person Object class details.
I Get the Error : Cannot find the Person Object Class.
I have checked the object class in OID it is there, I have verified the connection details are also correct.
Any Ideas what might be wrong.
Earlier during setup i had to modify the OID schema, how do i check if this has been done.
    Any Ideas

  • Needed object class for Reconciliation of OID groups?

    Hi,
When I run OID Connector Gruop Lookup Reconciliation I only get the groups thath have the object class *'groupOfUniqueNames'*. All rest of groups are note reconcilied into the Lookup.OID.Group Lookup.
The problem is that I can´t modify all those groups that haven't this object class.
The groups that I can get actually have this object classes:
    top
    groupOfNames
it's possible to modify OID Connector Gruop Lookup Reconciliation to get all groups???
    Tanks in advance.
    regards.

Its a matter of setting the right ldap filter in the scheduled task . Find out what is required to fetch all the groups from OID using ldap browser or something else .
And then simply use the same ldap filter in OID Group look up recon ST.
    try with (objectclass=group)
    Thanks

  • Recon and provisioning of user-defined object class ICF Active Directory

I have followed the documentation instructions for reconciliation of a user-defined object class in the ICF Active Directory connector. I am using OIM 11gR2 with the ICF Active Directory 11.1.1.5 connector patched to 11.1.1.5.0A. The procedure states to create the new object class in AD and then change the objectClass value in the Lookup.Configuration.ActiveDirectory lookup. In my case I am using the existing ObjectClass of contact, rather than a new object class. Just for completeness I am using a clone of the AD User Resource Object which I call AD User Contact and so my lookup name is Lookup.Configuration.ActiveDirCon.
When I changed the ObjectClass from User to Contact, and ran the Active DirCon User Target Recon scheduled job, with Object Type also = contact. The first issue I noticed was that the connector wanted a different set of lookups, which is not in the documentation. It is looking for a lookup in my Configuration lookup where code key=contact Configuration Lookup (which I should have expected since there are code keys for User, Group, and organizationalUnit). I added a line to the lookup where code key=contact Configuration Lookup and the Decode=Lookup.ActiveDirCon.CM.Configuration and then I created a new lookup by that name, assigning the 5 values to be the Lookup.ActiveDirCon.UM.xxx lookups. I did not see any need to create a new set of Lookup.ActiveDirCon.CM.xxx lookups with the exact same values.
I re-ran the scheduled job and it ran successfully, but did not generate any Recon Events, even though I had objects in the OU and I have that same OU in the Lookup.ActiveDirCon.OrganizationalUnits lookup (from the Org Lookup Recon). Everything looks good but getting no results. Looked at the log file from the ConnectorServer and it is building the query properly and executing it properly with the correct syntax, getting no errors, but the SearchAndReturnObjects method is returning zero results.
Looking to see if anyone has successfully reconciled in user-defined or other non-User objectClass objects from Active Directory, and if so, can you provide Lookup configuration and Connector Server information so I can troubleshoot.
I resolved this issue by changing the recon lookups to a blank lookup called Lookup.ActiveDirCon.CM.ReconAttrMap and only added in the parameters that are used by a Contact object. Only populate the ReconAttrMap with parameters that exist for the custom object.

  • 11g - LDAP Sync - Select Custom Object class based on user type

    Hi Gurus,
We have Ldap Sync set up between OIM 11g and ODSEE, we have some custom object class in ODSEE when the user are getting created in OIM it is getting created in ODSEE and it has all object class , every thing is working fine.
Now we have to select the object class based on user type of OIM, while pushing the user to ODSEE through LDAP sync.
we checked the LDAPUser.xml we doesnt have any option to choose custom object class based on user type.
Guys needs suggestion how to go forward on this requirement.

Do you have OVD between OIM and ODSEE? If yes, then this can be handled at OVD. By modifying the LDAP Adapter and setting up search for users with custom objectclass instead of inetorgperson.
    Flow would be as follows:
OIM --> LDAPRequest to Create User with inetorgperson to OVD --> OVD --> change request's objectclass to custom objectclass --> Create user in OID with custom objectclass

  • LDAP BC QUESTION ABOUT OBJECT CLASSES

    Hi
i am working with a bpel and its ldap-bc, when i create an entry in my ldap through the bpel it has all the object classes from the attributes i set. for example if i set cn and sn attributes then my entry has the object class person; i want to know if there is any way of setting object classes to my entry on the ldap, even if i am not setting any attributes; for example if i only set the cn and sn attributes using the bpel, i still can tell the entry that it can has another objectclass like iplanet-am-user-service with out setting any of its attributes.
    thanks for your help

Actually, I'm not getting duplicate objects, but I like to get rid of
    doubles in one particular column.
For example if I had a table as follows:
    Table DESC
    int pkid
    String description
description can contain duplicate entries, I want to query as follows:
    select distinct description from DESC
How could I write a query which retrieves all tuples in a table, but removes
    duplicate from a specific column?
    Thanks.
    Andreas.
    Abe White wrote:
How does the engine use DISTINCT automatically? It detects whether joins are made such that duplicate rows might be

What I basically want to do is to remove any doubles I get from the
query. When I turn logging on to see the sql statement, I only get a
SELECT without the DISTINCT keyword. You shouldn't be getting doubles. If you are, could you please post the
offending JDOQL filter and give some description of the schema and/or
object model? There is a bug in Kodo in which some queries involving OR
clauses and joins are not made DISTINCT when they should be, but it has
been resolved for our upcoming 2.5 release.
Is there also a way I can specify GROUP BY?No, JDOQL does not have an equivalent to GROUP BY.

    Arthik,
I think I know what may have happened.
As I can see you are trying to create support for an updateable materialized view.
You have to make sure the name of the schema that owns the materialized view is the same as the schema owner of the master table (at master site).
From the code you have shown, I bet the owner of table EMP is SCOTT.
From the other hand, you want to create materialized view EMP_MV under schema KARTHIK that refers to table SCOTT.EMP at master site.
According to the documentation, the schema name used in DBMS_REPCAT.CREATE_MVIEW_REPOBJECT must be same as the schema that owns the master table.
Please check the documentation at the link below
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14227/rarrcatpac.htm#i109228
I tried to reproduce your example in my environment, and I got exactly the same error which actually confirms my assumption that the reason for the error is the fact that you tried to create the materialized view in a schema with different name than the one where master table exists.
I'll skip some of the steps that I used to create the replication environment.
    I have two databases, DB1.world and DB2.world
On DB2.world I will generate replication support for table EMP which belongs to user SCOTT
    SQL> conn scott/*****@DB2.world

    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_REPCAT", line 1332
ORA-06512: at line 3 I reproduced exactly the same error message.
So the problem is clearly in the schema name that owns the materialized view.
Now lets see if what would happen if I create the MV under schema SCOTT which has the same name as the schema on DB2.world where the master table exists.
    SQL>conn scott/****@DB1.world
    Connected.
    SQL>CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW SCOTT.EMP_MV
      2    REFRESH FAST
      3    FOR UPDATE
4    AS SELECT EMPNO, ENAME, JOB, MGR, SAL, COMM, DEPTNO, HIREDATE

    Materialized view created.
    SQL>conn mviewadmin/******@DB1.world
    Connected.
    SQL> BEGIN
      2       DBMS_REFRESH.ADD(
      3         name => 'MVIEWADMIN.MV_REFRESH_GROUPA',
      4         list => 'SCOTT.EMP_MV',
      5         lax => TRUE);
      6    END;
      7  /
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed. And now lets run CREATE_MVIEW_REPOBJECT.
    SQL>   BEGIN
      2       DBMS_REPCAT.CREATE_MVIEW_REPOBJECT(
      3         gname => 'GROUPA',
      4         sname => 'SCOTT',
      5         oname => 'EMP_MV',
      6         type => 'SNAPSHOT',
      7         min_communication => TRUE);
      8    END;
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed. As you can see everything works fine when the name of the schema owner of the MV at DB1.world is the same as the schema owner of the master table at DB2.world .

  • Object class name does not exist in IDM

    Hi Team
We are process of Integrating GRC 10.1 to Enterprise Portal.Followed accordingly as per the SAP Note No. 1977781.
While running the Schema Job, we get a message Schema Imported Suxcessfully. While running the Job : GRAC_REPOSITORY_SYNC_JOB, the job
shows successful, but a Warning Message : User Adaptor Empty in SLG1 T.code.
I have checked the Path suffix, connectors, data source and all are maintained but no sure about this warning message.
Secondly,I tried for test creation of user on Portal via GRC 10.1.I am getting below error
"Object class name does not exist in IDM" Please see log below
Request gets closed stating Auto Provisioning failed. Please advice if someone has faced same issue and the steps taken to rectify it.
    Thanks
    Nitesh

    Hi Nitesh,
We worked on this issue for quiet sometime with SAP to get this finally fixed You can check all below mentioned notes.
    First Check:
Please check the Note: 1915763 - Error Provisioning from GRC 10 to SAP Portal while adding or removing a role in Change Account request type.
This Note says that if your LDAP set as data source is read-only in Portal, then you need to change it to Modifiable in order to allow create or change user belonging to LDAP.
We have set the UME correctly and no longer read-only. But our access requests still used to fail with the following messages.
"Object class name does not exist in IDM".
    Second Check:
Kindly ensure the field mapping for portal is done in IMG settings properly.
If it is fine please check below note 2033714 - AC10.0: error in SGL1 "Object class name does not exist in IDM".
This note is only to check if you have made any mistake with your portal mapping and doesn't address the correct issue.
    Third Check:
Finally after implementing SAP note 1941250 - UAM: Truncated parameters provisioned on changing users from Access Request
    our issue got fixed.
    Regards,
    Madhu.

  • How to create custom attributes & object classes through ldif files in OID

    Hi,
I have to create 4 attributes and one object class(custom) in OID. I want to creae these attributes and object class through LDIF file.
I tried creating an attribute through this command
    ldapadd -p 389 -h localhost -D cn=orcladmin -w password -f D:/newattr.ldif
this ldif file contains inf. for creating a new attributes:
    dn: cn=subschemasubentry
    changetype: add
    add: attributetypes
attributetypes: ( 1.2.3.4.5.6.10 NAME "xsUserType_new" DESC "User Type Definition" EQUALITY caseIgnoreMatch
    SYNTAX "1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.15" )
I am getting error: Object class violation
Failed to find add in mandatory or optional attribute list.
Please help to find where I am going wrong...
    Thanks.

    Hi Ajay,
Thank you for the help. Now i am able to create both attributes and object classes in OID through Ldif files.
I was getting constraint violation error because (I think) I was not giving proper naming convection for attributes and object classes. For OID, there are certain Ldap naming conventions. They are as follows:
    # X below is the enterprise number assigned by IANA
1.3.6.1.4.1.X.1 - assign to SNMP objects
1.3.6.1.4.1.X.2 - assign to LDAP objects
1.3.6.1.4.1.X.2.1 - assign to LDAP syntaxes
1.3.6.1.4.1.X.2.2 - assign to LDAP matchingrules
1.3.6.1.4.1.X.2.3 - assign to LDAP attributes
1.3.6.1.4.1.X.2.4 - assign to LDAP objectclasses
1.3.6.1.4.1.X.2.5 - assign to LDAP supported features
1.3.6.1.4.1.X.2.9 - assign to LDAP protocol mechanisms
1.3.6.1.4.1.X.2.10 - assign to LDAP controls
1.3.6.1.4.1.X.2.11 - assign to LDAP extended operations
By using these conventions for attributes and object class, I did got any error and they were created in OID.
    Thanks a zillion.

    Thanks

    Hi,
Please try to re-generate the adapter object (ZDNL_CUST_CND) services using trx.
    SMOGGEN
. After this, try re-running the load.
I assume that your CRM inbound mapping module are correctly coded. If the problem persists, try de-registering the R3AD_CONDITIONS inbound queue using trx.
    SMQR
and then debugging the inbound queue from the same trx. after re-starting the load.
    Reward if this helps!

  • Link-Group Asset Class, Depreciation Area & Depreciation Key

    Dear Experts,
I am new to FI-AA Customization & have a basic query about Group Asset Concept.
I am working on Ecc 6.0 & for Country India.
I want to create Group Asset for calculation of Depreciation as per Income Tax Act.  Hence there is just one Depreciation Area (for Group Assets) , but the Depreciation keys are different.  E.d IN1, IN2 etc. (Country Version India)
    Now the questions are :
    1) Do we need to create different Asset Class for different Group Assets or to create just 1 Asset Class for all Group Assets.
E.g. I want to calculate Depreciation As per income Tax Act on Gross Block of Building, Furniture & Fixture, Motor Car, Vehicles etc. So I need to create separate Group Asset Class for each one of above or just to create one Group Asset Class.
    2) If we need to create just one Asset Class for all Group Assets; how to maintain a Depreciation Key in OAYZ as there are more than 1 Depreciation Keys?
    3) is there any other method / functionality to calculate Depreciation as per income Tax Act or Group Asset is the only functionality?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Reshma

    Dear,
    Reshma.
Looking at your Questions let us take explanation for Group Assets :-
1 ) We need to create new different asset class for Group Class in OAOA. Then permit the depreciation area for only Group Asset in OAYM as it is in your current scenario India  is Depreciation Area 15 Just select your company code in OAYM and check the Grp Asset field for respective area 15. Then go to OAAX here we have to maintain the assets classes particularly for Group Assets. So check your Group Asset classes for Group Assets. Cerate different Group asset classes for your said requirement.
In these depreciation areas, it is then possible to make an assignment to a group asset.  You make this assignment in the specifications for the depreciation area in the asset master record.  When you post an acquisition to this kind of asset, the system duplicates the line items from this depreciation area on the given group asset.
2 ) According to me you have to create different depreciation keys for Group Asset classes. Assign the Depreciation keys to your newly created Group Asset Classes in OAYZ and make sure you are deactivating 01 area which is Book Depreciation area.
3 ) As far as I know this is the only functionality available to handle Group Assets. How ever SAP does not have any standard Group Assets functionality. SAP does not supply asset classes to be used solely for group assets. It is we have to determine as per varying Business Process.
I hope this will clear your doubt makes you to understand. Please revert back for further clarification. Welcome you.
