OIM: How to cleanup users?

HI,
Is there a DB script or other method to cleanup a bunch of users in OIM along with all their resources and entitlements that were ever assigned. Its ok to have them in target resources. I am looking for a complete cleanup.

I would suggest the following approach to OIM cleanup.
Build your initial OIM, make a base backup using the exp command to export the user. Build all your configurations, do any testing, and use the system. When you have sign off on your configurations, export the changes, and document any modifications to OIM you have done. Revert your database to your initial backup. Apply your document changes. Make a new backup. This is now your baseline and any reverts for cleanup will go to this backup instead of your original one. This way you can always have a clean build, but you can validate your documented steps to build your environment for any changes.

This jsp uses the table generator.jsp which shows the data in the form of table. You have to make your own action class to do this after extending their class (provided by oracle) tcSearchUserAction.java and you can show data as per your client requirement.

How can create users in OIM

I am new to OIM, Just installed OIM using IDM Template on OVM Server. I am able to login on both access and identity webconsole.
but I dont know how can i create users and use these URL...Please help me some on this...

OIM: trusted source reconciliation - user deletion

Hello,
I am working on a test scenario with Oracle Identity Manager 9.1.0.1.
I have succesfully setup trusted source reconciliation with Oracle 10g Database using the "Database Application Tables Release 9.1.0 connector".
In the DB resides a HR table with users.
When the data in the HR table is edited and updated everything works fine it get's reconciled to OIM.
But when a user get's deleted from the Database HR table. The user isn't deleted in OIM
How is that possbile?

OK i have now managed the problem with the first unparsable error syntax.
According to here (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11223_01/doc.910/e11194/create.htm):
Database Date Format parameter for reconciliation:
Enter the same value that you enter for the Source Date Format parameter.
I entered the settings bellow and it works.
Database Date Format: DD-MMM-YY
Source Date Format: DD-MMM-YY
Another problem:+_
Now i have a problem with the "hire end" date, because if a user is still employed, there is a null value in the Oracle 10g DB.
And i get Unparsable date: "" error
Please help.

How to stop user profiles clean-up job from deleting Active users.

Hi,
Somehow bunch of active users profile are marked for deletions and their managers have received email saying it will be deleted in X days.
I know if we disable My Site Clean Up Job, it will not delete any profiles. But I want that job to continue running and stop active user profiles from getting deleted.
How do I proceed here...

I understand SharePoint 2010 MySite clean up timer job is deleting active user profiles.
Firstly, I need to confirm with you that the timer job will work on below two situations:
1.When you use the web UI in Central Administration to delete a user profile
2.When a user who was included in a previous user profile import is no longer included in the import.
The second point bears a little more explanation, please refer to How Is A User Profile Deleted?

SSO and how to Managing User Roles/Privileges with Forms using Oracle db

We are in the process of implementing Oracle Application Server SSO with our custom Forms application using Oracle database -- all 10.2.0.1.0 version.
In our Forms Applications, we have about a dozen roles we have assigned to various users. We need to identify each user using our Forms because we are using the GLOBAL USER throughout the application.
Questions:
-- Do we have to create users/passwords in both OID and application database?
-- Is there a way to easily manage the user and passwords between SSO and Forms App/database in one place? For example, how does a user change their password once, but actually change it in both the database and SSO?
Any advice and/or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can have global roles in the DB and assign this roles to specific OID users, and the will heritage the privilages, you can do this using Oracle Identity Management Web Tool http://hostname:7777/oiddas is not complicated.

How to let user download multi files at the same time in WebDynpro ABAP?

As you know, WeyDynpor has provided upload/download UI element, but it seems that it only support one file upload/downlaod at the same time.The following is the API method to download one file in Webdynpro:

but if when use click one button, we want to provide user a html file plus 2 icons files which are used as this html file's resource file, then how to let user download these 3 files together at the same time?
one simple way is calling the download api (cl_wd_runtime_services=>attach_file_to_response) 3 times,
but it is very ugly that three popup windows are shown to let user select every file's download path, which is unaccepted.
So anyone know more convienient way to handle it?

I suggest you to zip the files and attach it to the response. Do the add file part for each of your files

I am unable to find Queryname in SQ01 from this.
When i saw some of the forums i understood that IDSYST is the user group for my query but i am unable to trace such user group in SQ01.

I found in table AQGQSTRUC but i didnt find the specified query
Previously 401 client is there but at present it is not there .How can you justify it that it is 401 client.
As 401 client data is moved to someother client is it the problem why i am not able to find query??

You will need an external drive that is formatted as MAC OS EXTENDED (journaled).
Move the Project, Events, and any photos and music to the external drive by following the instructions in this post.

Be sure to use CONSOLIDATE MEDIA to get the photos and music. Then plug this drive into your computer and you will be able to edit.
